Having food is an experience. Food is served as 'prasad'; people serving are barefoot. Food serving is done with lot of love and 'sewa bhaav'. It's like 'atithi devo bhawa' πŸ™ Breakfast is 4puris and aloo sabji. Lunch and dinner is dal, chawal, roti, 2 sabjis and chutney. Breakfast is for 20/- and lunch / dinner for 80/-. Opens at 9am for breakfast. All meals are simple and delicious.

VERY DELICIOUS food thali as Prasad which is offered at KANAK BHAWAN is served as thali at this fabulous place situated at beautiful street which goes to Kanak Bhawan. Timings 10.00 AM to 03.00 PM and 6.00 PM to 10.00 PM. Let's discuss why you should choose only this place throughout your ayodhya visit :- 1) It is the same Prasad which is offered first at Kanak bhawan to Lord Ram and then served as thali to customers. 2) UNLIMITED QUANTITY per person per thaali which cost 60 rs for normal thaali and 120 for special thaali 3) DESI GHEE blessed Chapatis... Large in size that also unlimited 4) BASMATI RICE (unlimited) 5) Very well hygenic place...even in kitchen you will find very much cleanliness 6) Loving Caring and polite staffs which don't let any customer left this place unsatisfied. 7) LARGE SPACE blessed eating space. 8) 2 minutes time walking distance from Kanak Bhawan. 9) FAMILY & FRIENDS coming to Ayodhya should for sure try this magical place. 10 ) COVID 19 protocols are followed so stay satisfied, carry your hand wash or sanitizer for better experience. Happy Fooding guys 😊😊

Very good restaurant and nice Prasadam thali they offer. The staff is very friendly. But they need to maintain high quality hygiene. This is something that i expect them to take very seriously.

Pure veg, tasted fresh, huge turnover, very popular, didn't get sick. Very reasonable. We're not sure what the protocol is for seating when busy. Patrons seat themselves it appears which is what we did the first time we visited as there were seats available. The second time we went, they were very busy, all seats taken. We waited for 20 minutes or so without acknowledgement by staff that I am aware of, then finally as we saw a group leave, we sidled in an sat at the table before the dishes were cleared. We observed other patrons had done the same thing and seated themselves before we were seated. So just be aware, we came from America and customarily the wait staff will seat patrons when the resturant is full. I would guess they are so busy it's all they can be to keep up with serving and cooking food and wiping tables and doing dishes. You will find yourself sharing the table with others if it's busy. Food is served on cafeteria trays and then a server comes around to refill your tray with whatever you like, so it's all-you-can-eat. Tap water served at the table, cold bottled water available which is what we drank. The menu is whatever they have that day. Customer service is direct. Staff is focused on getting the job done. Restroom/ toilet on site. It's usable with Western commode. Cleanliness fluctuated and there was no soap in the bathroom so I suggest bringing wipes or finishing washing at the handwashing sinks in the waiting area. Strong quads and glutes a plus, this was a toilet you might not want to sit directly on unless you bring a sanitizing wipe. I would go again. It was the only restaurant around that serves pure beg. The rickshaw driver took us to another restaurant that said it was pure veg, but we walked in and immediately smelled onion. So we left.

To our knowledge, this is the the only place in Ayodhya where you can find vegetarian thalis without onion and garlic. Other pure vegetarian places, despite their signboards, use onion in their vegetable dishes. The food is fresh, hot off the stove, and a little strong on Chili peppers, but quite delicious. Sometimes they have a light lassi drink called chach, that is a must have.
