Great place to chill on the beach. Extremely reasonable alcohol prices. Service is prompt and courteous. Also had a lot of food options available.
One of the best restaurant I love in Goa. Yummy food with reasonable price. I never missed to visit this place whenever I went to Goa. I love their crab cream soup very much.. which you'll not get anywhere else.. every item in the menu tastes good... And the staffs will be very friendly and make the food according to your wish. 😋😋

The prices were same as the three star restaurant where the ambience and food will better and service will be little hygienic and good.
But try every shack as this is not your day to day restaurant and do check prices in zomato or in my review
It's in baga beach. Food was quite reasonable. Konkani chicken biryani was delicious. Fried rice,naan was yummy too. Shining star chicken gravy was bit sweet n tasty thou. Liquor price ws reasonable too.
Very tasty and fresh seafood.lovely shack location.order the giant style preparation;it comes with fries,salad and basmati aromatic rice.fast service.drinks are okeish . pocket friendly.must visit if you plan to sit by the beach till one am.

Yes, comparatively the price is less.. good place, good food, cheese garlic butter naan was awesome. But shacks plays awfully loud music in the evening, after sometime it starts to hurt your ears, and most of the shacks starts competing with worst music of all time, but there are ppl who drinks and dances on those music. So everyone has there preference.

Typical shack feel with a great crowd of foreigners.... Amazing food for the price mentioned in their menu.... But if you don't like crowded places... Not only is this place not for you but also baga isn't your type of beach....
One of the best shack on Baga beach. Staff is very friendly and helpful staff. They have clean washroom too. Pocket friendly. Worth a visit on baga beach.
This place is good.Food and beverages are as u would expect.a lill cramped though.service was good and definitely value for money.try the iced tea,it's really good over here.sandwhiches French fries and almost all finger food,you could not go wrong with over here.not the best in Goa but definitely a good option if u don't wanna spend much

Our visit to Baga in the evening ended up here for dinner... Its a small shack... Music is awesome... people are friendly over here.... We ordered for the below:-
1.Goan Chicken Pulao
2.Crispy Chicken_ the way the shredded onions were mixed with succulent chicken pieces were mouthwatering
3.Fish Vindaloo
4.Banana Frillet_ its basically a sweet dish... Impeccable taste loved it to the core..
The prices are cheap here... And the quantity and quality is adequate... I am just in love with goa you could find here luscious restos and food is awesome

Shining star is our usual haunt for a laid back weekend plan. I've tasted a lot of their dishes and have never been disappointed. Their cheese garlic naan, malai tikka, Arrabbiata pasta, Mushroom crispy are to die for! Their chicken lollipops, golden fried calamari, fries in schezwan sauce also good. Everything tastes fresh and comes to you hot. The rates are reasonable and well justified for the quantity. Service is a little show, and 4 wheeler parking a little difficult. But the food makes up for everything.

We visited this shack 3days back, after trying many shacks in Baga n Anjuna n getting disappointed with their food, we googled about a great shack n food n got recommendation of Shining star on Baga beach, we were so impressed with their food that we had almost all our meals here for 3 days! Their location also is very peaceful, since it falls somewhere in the centre of the Britos n Titos entrance to the beach, so u will hv to walk a lil to reach it.
Best food items - Chicken club sandwich, Chicken/veg noodles, Pineapple lassi, French fries, butter chicken!
tho everything was great but their Chicken sandwich was too good, chicken club was even better, i hv never tasted better one even abroad!
We loved their staff too, especially a guy named Mahesh, he was our server all the days n was very very nice!!
We visited the Baga beach in Feb 2015 and had our dinner at this beach shack. The location is just awesome right on the beach and it has plenty of tables arranged on the sand with candle lights. We opted for Veg. Chinese food and were happy with the taste. The staff was very polite and the service was also quick. Though there are plenty of shacks available on the beach with the same view but we chose this shack based on the numerous good reviews on tripadvisor and were happy with our choice. You can definitely give this shack a try.
Staff are very helpful Ofcuz we can’t sit without booking order more than 500 cuz restaurant in beach with complete beach view. Really nice atmosphere while seeing beach and eating food it’s really awesome feel . Food was awesome. Price is high but worth it. Taste is too good .Everyone must try
Beautiful place, good food - we sat there for the whole sunset, courteous staff, very helpful. They came in to check on us thrice in 2/3 hours if we need anything or may be if we should buy something since we were sitting idle for long. Loved the dogs, beaches, ambiance everything.
We visited the shining star Beach shack during our November family trip to goa. It was a weekend and was fully occupied. Since we visited at night , they have chairs setup right on the beach with candle lights. It was a good experience. We ordered some starters , pasta and fruit punch. Food was all good , especially the fruit punch. You can order just what you want and sit there and enjoy the night sea views. Service was also nice and quick. They were not pressing to make multiple orders like many other shacks we visited.
Very fast service, good food and drinks. Stuff is really friendly and working hard taking care of their guests. You can chill here all day feeling very safe!

Trust me when I say this place offers the most delicious food and relatively cheaper than others. Before visiting this place I was a little skeptical about the food but I decided to go for it and I found a hidden treasure. The chicken tandoori platter is to die for, the goan crab masala was very delicious, perfectly fried golden calamari well seasoned, and kingfish(surmai) masala fry was absolutely amazing! I also tried the lime soda which was good. But above that also comes the ambience and customer service. It was quick and well attended. Had a wonderful experience. Would definitely comeback here. 9/10

During the night, this place lights up and is a good spot to enjoy a candle light dinner. The food taste is quite good and the prices are on the expensive side.
