Best place for simple food
This place is located in the Uttarhalli main road .Food tastes good but sometimes they don't. Their starters are good and tastes good. Process are also reasonable and budget friendly.
Decent place for a quick grab. The ambiance from outside looks decent. The self service is quite quick, decent with taste and quantity they offer. Price is very nominal when compared to other places around this area. The seating option available upstairs is very small with very few tables. The servers and person in charge for order taking and billing is really sad. They absolutely have no idea about how to manage of operate cards. I suggest anybody visiting this place to always carry cash.

Had an opportunity to visit this place and host a function at this place. The place is quiet good.the food is good and the ambience is also great. Anyways, if you are somewhere near uttarahalli you can visit this place. The buffet for the function that was given was yummy.
The food here is delicious. Their variety is good and the food is totally worth the money. You can choose anything on the menu and i am sure you will like it! Veg pepper masala and paneer fry is a must try!
One of the best restaurants in Bangalore for vegetarians. Though they offer usual menu, food is tasty and delicious. Value for money for the items offered
I ordered some North Indian thalis for takeaway. Taste was decent, quantity was good. Had bit confusion while giving parcel,apart from that nice place. Clean & hygiene. Price was reasonable.

The food is good ane tasty. The wait time is too long but it is worth it. My parents from Mysore also liked the place and the food.......................the quality and quantity of the food is good.
Looking for a quick veg fud.. A perfect place around to munch.. n impressive too.. Panner chilly must try n yumm chats. Get seated n order all u can eat

A decent hotel to dine. Love their south indian breakfast menu. 1st floor has AC service hall. Decent place for a sunday breakfast. Must try their Fresh Strawberry milkshake. Its our weekend post workout drink. During summer, this drink quenches both heart and stomach.
Best restaurant in the uttarahalli locality. After a long thought, tried last week. Worth for the money. After trying breakfast there, same day i went fr dinner too.. Loved the food.. food was tasty.
Decent place to try South Indian dishes in the locality. Had not so great experience with North Indian dishes, However, idli, dosa and similar South Indian dishes are good. This is our go to place for Sunday breakfast, idli with chatni and sambaar, and masala dosa. These items better than what you get in Mayyas near kidney foundation, I mean idli were softer and sambaar had better taste!! So go for it for breakfast items..
I'm really surprised with the zomato rating. Probably the one and only restaurant cum darshini to serve decent food to nearby localities. I went here on a busy evening, almost all tables were occupied. I tried their Bonda soup(Average), Sev Batata puri(Average), Samosa masala(Average) and Cheese veg toast sandwich9Excellent). The prices are light on your pocket. I heard they reopened their fine dine upstairs. wIll try next time. Cleanliness and hygiene is good.

Masala puri bit costly and the taste is okay. One thing to look out for will be dhahi puri..great taste!
They do home delivery as well for the orders above 300Rs

Loved their pani poori. Should say it was the best I had in recent times. North thali and hakka noodles were VFM and tasted good too. Overall it was a nice experience.

This place has been on my list since it opened ....it's one of the biggest and neat looking south Indian restaurant in uttarahalli main road (excluding masalaa restaurant coz they don't serve south Indian breakfast ).
Visited today for some breakfast .
And choose to go to the service hall .
First off the price difference between service hall menu and self service menu is 5 bucks ....service hall all items are 5 bucks more......but its worth it.....the place is clean....A/C and some good music ......the service hall is actually quite small ...probably fit around 40 people maximum ...so it's not too crowded and nice .
Coming to the food I ordered
Idly vada dip- I really loved the way they presented it ....the idly was soft and vada was not oily and best part for Samber dip fans the idly vada tasted like it was soaked for just the right amount of time in Samber....so it tasted really really good ....unfortunately for the chutney it tasted good but it was diluted .
kesaribath- wasn't too oily and too soggy .....it was the right consistency ....for my taste they could have added a little more sweet .
cheese plain dosa - being fan of cheese I love the way they have utilized cheese to make dosa ....a large chunk of cheese was smeared onto the non roasted part of the dosa like the red chutney so u literally get to taste cheese ....it tasted really good but unfortunately same couldn't be said for the Samber and chutney both were diluted .
Coffee was usually filter coffee tasted good
On contrary to some previous reviews I read when I went the service was extremely good ,the waiters were really polite and soft spoken kudos to the management if they have improved or if that was false keep up the good job
The prices are shockingly low for a uttarahalli restaurant 2 idly was 25 ,vada was 20 bucks,kesaribath 25 bucks and cheese dosa 50 and coffee 20 bucks ( reduce these by 5 bucks for self service prices ) all the prices are including service tax for the service hall .
Overall really loved the restaurant would definitely visit to try some more items

Place is very small, ambience is good. Food tastes OK, no wow factor. For a quick meal its ok.
We usually go here for a quick lunch. Restaurant waiters can be trained a bit more, they have good infrastructure, need to focus on customer delight.
Like, there is no waiting place, no place to sit as well.
#1 The food at South Grand Uttarahalli are very yum yum. #2 They got 2 party hall's. The food they server for party hall is too good and
#3 The decoration partner for the hall here are client oriented person.
Celebrated by 2 kids Naming ceremony here. Satisfied and had same vibes both functions.

Food and hall is decent and the rating is for that.
The lift in this hotel is pathetic. Got stuck in middle of nowhere and had to call someone to come out of it.
They have to really work on it.

I had ordered Veg Kolhapuri, which is meant to be spicy and asked them to make it too, but they did not make it spicy though. The taste was good, but I tend to eat Veg Kolhapuri spicy so make sure you let them know before ordering it. And Gobi manchuri was good as well.

Good one for small function with 50 to 70 people, neate and cleane place
When you enter the restaurant the atmosphere is very good especially the interior and the ambiance. When it comes to staffing and the maintenance members there are very cooperative, especially the person who takes the orders very responsive and gives suggestions as well.
I visited this restaurant nearly 4 times like for breakfast lunch and dinner, the breakfast.
The first floor is where you can carry a small function of 50-100 members.
