A contender for the big game. Urban Roti is a franchise, with it's first ever branch in Bangalore. Their menu segregates Indian and PanAsian cuisine, explaining each dish.
Although, to be fair, my review might be biased because I was quite hungry. Which is why I asked for the Biriyani. It was unique, yet seemed familiar.
Basically it was rich with flavours. I ordered the Housemade Ginger Lemonade, but that seemed pricey for what it's contents were.

The restaurant presents a fresh take on north indian food. The menu is quite diverse and offers chinese as well. We ordered the ajwaini rataloo and kebab-e-khaas. The sweet potato starter was something new. Ambience was pleasant. The quantity was quite filling and the taste was great as well. We were also given 3 varieties of chutneys on the side. The mango chutney is a must try.

I would say this is the best ever restaurant in Indhranagar, that too in 100ft road main road. We friends were hunting for the nice indian cuisine based restaurant, we saw urban roti through zomato. Ok chalo lets get into it. Pleasant welcome by the staffs. Started with kali mirchi rasama, crisy corn, paneer trilogy, lemon butter chicken, rogini kulcha, kulkand kheer...to be honest each and every bite was just oyt of the world. Never ever forgettable sweet food memory through friends. Highly recommendable.

Beaute galore, soft music , warmth ambience, rural yet vintage serving cutlery...

As much the sight was so appealing, equally lip-smacking cuisines aroma raising ours excitement bar.

The mocktails were a concoction of freshness, with interesting flavours, my personal adore was 'A speciality of Punjab' - Patiyala Lassi and blend of fruit juices topped with ice-cream - 'Tropical Punch'. The food menu list is a wide array of scrumptious north Indian dishes. The Veg-Starters 🌽 Corn Malai seekh, Paneer Hare Pyaaz ki Tikki were indescribably tooooo Yummm...

The blissful bite-sized desserts. Ras Malai milk Cake & Gulkand Keer were indulgent. The Walnut Tart was the best among others and insatiable.... Most of all very courteous staff...worth to re-visit with family and friends...

This is a new north Indian cuisine restaurant located on Indiranagar 100 ft road. We visited this place on a rainy evening. The taste and ambience were equally good. So was the quality of food served. The service was a bit slow since the restaurant was new and full of customers at the time of our visit. We had Murg Yakhni Shorba, Trio of Tandoori Broccoli, Charcoal Stuffed Mushroom, Paneer Triology, Tandoori Jhinga, Pomfret Banana Leaf Mahi and Murg Gilafi Sheek. All the items were very delicious and flavourful.

A decent new place to dine in with super comfortable ambience and some delicious food in neighborhood of Indiranagar.

Loved the crispy crunchy corns in veg starters which was perfect in crunchiness and tasted awesome. The Paneer Trilogy is a must try starter here (especially the Malai Tikka one). This is made with absolutely soft Paneer marinated perfectly with different flavors making the all three-variety taste differently in good way. They also server broccoli in same three flavors with almost same taste when it comes to flavor so it can also be tried in place of Paneer. We also tried Dahi Kebab and it was just ok in taste.

In main course, The Dal Makhani is must have for vegetarians. Prepared in typical Punjabi style with near to perfect buttery flavor goes good with Naan and Rice both. In Veg Curry, Paneer Masala was just ok as curry tasted bit on dull side when it comes to flavor. The butter naan and kulcha were really decent to go good with any curry.

This place serves mocktails and Mango Pina Kolada is one good one to try. It comes with mix of normal flavor of Mango and intense flavor of orange, making the whole taste bit unique type. The Patiyala Lassi is also very good here, perfect in thickness of a North Indian style lassi with good flavor.

Urban roti is a new restaurant in indiranagar which dishes out lip-smacking Indian food. This brand is of Singapore origin and now open in Bengaluru to serve it's patrons. Ambiance is beautiful with colourful couches and this place can comfortably accommodate 80 paxs.

I was there with a gang of foodies to try out their delicacies. I started my dinner with mutton sorba. The consistency of sorba is thin and smelled aromatic. The flavour of mutton and pepper are intense. Thors Hammer is a refreshing strawberry flavoured mocktail. If you have sweet tooth you would love it.

Crispy corn and Thai basil chicken are absolutely delectable. Both the starters are well cooked and has adequate level of spice and pepper. These are definitely must try! We treated our taste buds with a scrumptious main course. Dal makhani, mixed vegetable curry, butter naan and chicken curry are the dishes we ordered for main course. Usually I am not a fan of dal makhni but here I am totally impressed by the taste. It's rich in flavours and so creamy. Mixed vegetable curry is another delight which tasted really great with butter naan.

Overall my experience at urban roti was quite delightful. Staff are polite and has knowledge on what they are serving. Service could be improved.

Located on a busy 100ft road, Indranagar. The ambiance is calm and classy and suitable for all age group. Coming to the mock tails, water melon basil mojito and mango pinnacolado were rich in taste and was presented neatly. The starters nadru shami, which is made with lotus stem, the taste was unique and we liked it. Non veg starter was ghee roast chicken tacos, which was juicy and flavorful.

Their Tandoor starters, both Veg and Non-veg options are equally good.

For main course we ordered their signature items- Rogni kulcha and lemon butter chicken. The kulcha was a killer-Soft, fluffy and ambrosial. Lemon butter chicken was again, unique taste and it was completely different from the regular butter chicken.

Their Nalli Nihari is succulent and goes very well with their breads.

Desserts- If you have sweet tooth, then this is the plate. We had gulkand kheer, orange caramel flan and rasmalai cake. All the desserts were luscious.

The food had authentic taste.
The staff were very courteous and attentive.

As you enter the place, you will definitely be pleased with the neat and colourful ambience. It looks like a perfect place to have a good meal with family or friends.

We started off with mocktails and all of them tasted really good. Kiwi delight, mango Pina colada, aam Panna, pomegranate iced tea and orange cream sickle were a few of them.

Burnt garlic soup was one of the best I've ever had.

They have a lot of options for starters from North Indian to Pan Asian. The kele aur palak ke pakode was extremely well made. Nadru Shaami is a lotus stem based starter, it was something different. The best part about the north Indian starters is the various kinds of sauces they provide for the same. They are delicious. Charcoal stuffed mushroom was a heavy delight!! Our main course was a huge one consisting of garlic naan to have with pin wheel paneer ( the paneer was simply excellent ), Dal Makhni and subz miloni. Lemon butter chicken is something that was totally new and a very different sort of a dish. Jeera Rice with Dal Amritsari was a heavenly combination. Extremely well made. Subz Biryani was also a great one.

Ending our meal with dessert as always we had the gulkand kheer which was okay, xxl pista jamun and walnut Burfi tart were simply delicious. Orange caramel flan was made just right. Ras Malai milk cake is another good option among Indian sweets.

Overall the food served was really fresh, delicious and something that one would want to go back to and not to forget the staff - very very courteous and attentive.

Bangalore is a paradise for foodies, with new restaurants coming up every month. So, let's welcome Urban Roti with a warm hug as this place will definitely give a treat to your taste buds.

Also, an add on to the Indiranagar ' list of restaurants to visit '.

With great food and simple but amazing ambiance, this is a must visit place with friends and family.

I really liked the fusion twist they gave to the Indian Cuisines, specially the desserts.

Also, a really impressive service.

I got a chance to explore their wide menu. This place serves Indian and Pan Asian Cuisines. Also, some classic dishes with a twist.

So, among all the dishes which I tried here, below are the ones which had won my heart.

Tranquil. A Mocktail with orange and Cinnamon. I really liked the flavour of Cinnamon with the Orange Juice.

Mutton Yakhni Shorba. A lamb base soup. Prepared the Kashmiri way.

Ghee Roast Chicken Kulcha Taco. The tacos were made of Kulcha which was stuffed with Ghee roast shredded chicken. The Kulcha was really very soft and the chicken just melts into your mouth. As you take a bite, you can feel the ghee dripping of your mouth. A MUST try dish. You can Thank me later 😃😂

Crispy Corn & Water Chestnut. I love corn and have tried Crispy corn in many places. But, what makes this one different is the addition of water Chestnut. It was crispy and had the right amount of spice.

Purane Choke ki Nalli Nihari. A slow cooked Lamb dish. It was just amazing. The lamb was perfectly cooked and the gravy added a lots of flavours to the dish.

Subz Miloni. A mixed vegetable dish with Methi Saag and the gravy base was of Coriander leaves. A totally different kind of mixed vegetable dish which tasted really good.

Zafrani Chicken Biryani. What makes it different from other Biryani is that this is not a spicy Biryani. It is more like a Pulao which tasted really good. Do give this a try.

Fish Alleppey Curry. A Kerela style fish curry. It was cooked in Coconut fish which really enhanced the taste.

Gulkand ki Kheer. Though I ain't a fan of Gulkand in my dessert, but I must say this made me change my mind. I just couldn't stop myself from eating this.

The other dishes which I tried here and which was also good are ;

Starters : Tandoori Jhinga , Murgh Gilafi Seekh, Amritsari Dhaba Roast Chicken

Mains : Lemon Butter Chicken, Dal Anritsari, Dal Makhni.

Desserts : XXL Pista Jamun, Ras Malai Milk Cake, Walnut Barfi Tart, Orange Caramel Flan.

Urban Roti is bang on 100 feet road and serves good food. We started off thinking that the stuff on the menu is pricey, but the above average taste and fairly filling portions made up for it. The service could have been better, though, with the service executives paying a little more attention to detail.

It is a new restaurant in 100 Ft. Road. First the good things, the starters (Paneer Trilogy and Chicken Starters) were very good. The soup was excellent and so was the food. Ambience and service was also first class. Now to the areas where I felt them as negative, Price is too high. Having named Urban Roti, I felt their roti choices were limited. I will definitely not recommend the Kulfi, though it was good, as they have priced it high. They do have the buffet option on week days, which is cheaper. I'm yet to try it.
