A wonderful rural setting. Family restaurant. Great place for picnic. Beautiful garden. Most like the beautiful cottage. Great service. The people here are very interesting . It was very nice to talk to them. The whole area is filled with different flowers. A variety of mountain trees. One more thing you will get the necessary benefits.
Food quality & taste are really good especially when the rush is low. Organic farm grown ingredients are used in the dishes which is the main USP of this restaurant. Service is good.Waitress are gentle and humble.
We had group lunch at this place on a day trip and followings are my neutral feedback
- Nicely located and good for people like us who are looking for authentic bengali food on a day trip.
- Should be very good place to eat for people staying at the resort.
- Though cleanliness and ambience was not consistent the place has plenty of seating area and many personal cabins that can accommodate to 12-15 people.
- Food quality was fairly great with reasonable pricing. Tandoori chicken, veg thali, basanti pulao, mutton curry, emu kasa were awesome. However, soup, mutton biriyani could be better. The 40 rupee rosogolla tasted overhyped to me.
- Key area of improvement for the restaurant could be the quality of service. The service was slow, little mismanaged. We received the tandoori chicken as dessert while we requested it as starter.
Extremely good a restaurant amidst of Joypur forest range on the highway. Their food is warm and very tasty, local food, exotic food and meats, served on shal leaf covered plates with wonderful presentation. The staff are nice and professional. You’ll definitely enjoy having your lunch here unless it is a very crowded holiday on weekend. Try posto bora, alu posto, different fish and exotic meats.
Atmosphere and food both are very nice … we tried turkey first time and it was yummm
Just beside the road and inside the joypur jungle. It’s a hotel n restaurant, huge campus, providing exotic meat such as Emu, ostrich if u love to have non veg can try. They have a glum r of village look of West Bengal such as Dheki ( manual process to make rice dust), tanga ( horse pull rickshaw ) and during the winter can have the pithe in an authentic mode of preparation which is bit rare nowadays only in remote village can be available.
24*7 attendant will be present for the guest room, at day time female attendant will be there to look forward and at night male attendant.
The room price as per me bit high there should have price for single person also as like me while I used to travel solo it’s bit high price.
A fantastic place which serves food hitting the right spot on taste buds.
They have a huge space for restaurants and the food cooked is home grown.
Really loved the flowers which are cultivated there. A perfect place for a weekend getaway
This restaurant is one of a kind. Produce from their farm cooked and served very modestly by the local people.Taste is rustic, genuine and delicious. Variety of meat options are also an attraction. Visiting their farm is a delight for the whole family. If you ever cross this area be sure to stop at Banalata Restaurant.
Truly home made food made from organic farming and non veg dishes are worth mentioning
Mutton was the best dish I would say u will find other non conventional meat grown at its own farm
Must try POSTO BORA
It was an absolute amazing experience...
The food served here is equivalent to that in house
More or less a worthy time spent restaurant
Fast delivery and fast service
There are 3 hotels.
Between them i prefer to choose Banalata for it's good ambiance and better security reasons.
Staying at night is overpriced.
Staffs behaviour is good.
Got room service.
Great food quality.
They maintain the sanity.
Overall its a good stay.
We stopped here for breakfast and lunch a couple of times and both times were extremely happy with the result. Located near the Joypur forest, this place has recently become quite popular for all the right reasons. We had gobi & egg paratha, chole bhature, then thalis and mutton kasha and everything was excellent. Special mention to the chole bhature and of course the Posto Bora, which is outstanding. The place is clean, full of amenities and service is good.
The restaurant is located by the side of the main highway amidst forest all around. The place is quite large in terms of seating arena, parking and obviously the resort behind. The staffs are well behaved and prompt in response. The ambience is homely and customers are treated as such.
Now coming to the food. We had:
Plain Basmati Rice
Shona Mug Dal
Alu bhaja
Chicken Curry
Mutton Kosha
Chatni (this was complimentary at no extra cost)
Special Rosogolla (Rs. 35/- per piece)
The food was extremely delicious and left everlasting impression over our tongue. Fresh preparation and the home like taste was unexpected from our end. A great experience overall.
Happy fooding!
The visit to this restaurant is a unique experience for us. This restaurant caters to on the way guests. The prices are very much pocket friendly. The menu is very much unique for veg as well as non veg items equally including Bengali Dishes . We feel like having lunch in her home, Attendant was very much polite & lively.
Bankura is one of the best resorts. The food of the restaurant is also very good and the price is very good. The behavior of the hotel staff is very good. There is a bus stand in front of the resort.
Costly, but not very costly. You can grt evrn green coconut @60/- However, good quality food costs a little bit. Very homely environment. The added advantage is it's greenary where you can walk a while after a meal/tiffin...
Beautiful resort. Air is so pure. Food quality is too good. Various types of food specially various types of birds available here. Room is too clean and services are also good. Flower collection is too good.
