Just spent 2 nights at Joecoms Beach Resort with friends. The Hotel is exceptionally good, excellent customer service on arrival and throughout our stay. Breakfast really good and included in our room rate, buffet style but eggs and pancakes cooked to order. Had dinner in the restaurant both nights, the restaurant manager asked about our food preferences and then recommended starters and main courses which were excellent. Shuttle service to their shack at the beach was good very comfortable sunbeds shades and towels provided. Lunch very good. Definetley stay here again when in Benaulim. Thanks to the amazing team at this Hotel, clearly have a great management team.
1st day of the new year couldn't be any better a well spent time at the beach and after that a chill time at the shack sipping some really cool mixes by the bartender, sipping your favourite cocktail and watching the sea at its full glaze is priceless. The food too is delecious and served in style all in all the best shack experience you can have on the benaulim strech.
Recommend by friends and surely a place to have Romantic dinner on the beach 🏖

Great place for a seaside dinner with friends and family. Good taste in food and courteous staff. They even set up a beach facing table for us with candles.
Loved the tandoori prawns and stuffed mushrooms in the starters. The Indian food is also pretty good. The crab soup was also a highlight.

I loved the ambiance of this place. The location is perfect. The food was amazing. The service is average as the shack is usually crowded. I loved their fish curry and rice. It’s a must visit in south Goa.

Joecons is one of the wonderful beach shacks at Calwaddo beach of Benaulim. It has the simplest look offering comfortable beach sit outs and real good food. The service was quick and generous. Tasted calamari rings, beef chilly, fish tikka, prawns peri peri, Goan sausage and cheese garlic naan. All were finger licking dishes. Couldn't resist trying cocktails: Pretty lady and Tequila sunrise..thumbs up for the presentation and taste !!
Serene environment, Beach front, Cool Breeze, soothing sound of waves and great food..this is the complete satisfaction combo at Joecons Beach shack.

Sea food tandoor (sea basa), prawns and sqids were extra special. Nice and friendly staff ensuring good service. A surprise firework show and other celebrations by the beach.
There couldn't be a better ambiance beach side. You have the option of sitting in covered area or open area beachfront, listening to some music, enjoying best ever cocktails. Food is just amazing, tasty and reasonably priced. The chicken cafreal and crispy chicken is THE BEST I've ever had!!

A perfect beach shack to visit with good food. ambience also was quiet good I ordered chilli chicken and it was the best chilli chicken I have ever had.
After a happening stay in north Goa, eating at the busy Baga and Anjuna shacks, this was exactly what we craved for.. A secluded shack by the sea, with good food and good ambience. We were staying at the Joecons Hotel and dropped by this place for most of our meals. The steaks there, served my taste buds right. Be it breakfast by the sea or some drinks in the evening, this place won't disappoint you. The only drawback is that it shuts down by 8.30 at night so make your dinner plans accordingly. Apart from that I loved this place and the fact that the food and the alcohol comes at a cheap price should be another reason to check this place out.Rounak Sengupta
A solitary shack on a BEAUTIFUL untouched beach. The food was amazing and we kept going back. The only downside is that there is no breakfast option. However the waiters more than make up for it with their friendliness and amazing advice
It's almost like a lonely planet shake... No other shake nearby, live music, sea waves and very good food. If you compare with generic shakes of Goa, you will find around 20% shakes having good food and joecons falls among them... We tried malai murg Kabab and a BIG whole fish tandoori...both are Nicely prepared with right aroma and chilled beer... All were good...
The location is awesome being right on the Benaulim beach. We sat on the beach chairs and had our food and drinks served there. The food was good but the cocktails very mild. Would suggest to about cocktails.

Visited this place long back its a nice shack with beautiful atmosphere around the beach is just 100m away and the breeze you there is just perfect for your lunch or dinner to get going. The rates are reasonable very less as compared to shack prices. A must visit place for all foodies. Try the chicken steak here...

This place was good ambiance. Located besides the river, it is perfect for romantic occasions and parties.
Half the restaurant is under a gazebo and half is in open air.
The service is good but a bit on slower side.
The food is good. We ordered stuffed mushrooms which were awesome.
The recheado kingfish was yummy.
We ordered some more dishes and they were good.

Have been visiting this place from the time i was a baby. Seen this place grow. Many memories attached. As a kid i loved their batter fried squids.. The taste has changed but its still yummy. When i was around 5 i tried 'modso' for the first time here. Their curries is good. Seafood mostly is fresh. The food quality is excellent though. High standards of hygiene maintained. Service is a bit slow now.

Joecons is quite a popular restaurant and known for its open air ambiance and live music with dance floor. The place is quite huge with good setup.
As we were a large group of 10+, we got an opportunity to try out a variety of stuff.
Cream of chicken soup - Very watery and no taste at all. Very disappointing.
Chicken Iceberg salad - When served, it came without any chicken pieces. Got them added and then it was good.
Chicken Satay and Butter fried squids was really yummy. The squids were superb and the chicken well marinated.
Chicken tandoor platter was pretty good.
Sausage Pulao - The rice and the flavor was perfect; however the sausages were quite a task to chew as they were hard.
Prawn Biryani was good too.
Overall, the food was decent but service needs to be improved. Surprisingly, the servers did not serve and rather just dumped the food on the table. We had to ask them to serve. Also the service is very lax and they need to learn to be prompt.
We have been to Joecons multiple times and feel that the service and food is not what it used to be earlier. Visit this place if you want to take a feel of open air ambiance with live music and want to shake your leg.
We stayed at the Taj Exotica and went for a lunch since this place was a short walk. It has a very pleasant ambience and garden feel. Dry masala fish and prawn biryani was good though I felt there couldve been more prawns in the biryani. Overall, a great place to spend an evening with friends.
Location: The restaurant is located on the beach. To access other beach side properties you can walk on the beach or if you are coming by road then it is located at the very end of the street.
Ambience: The ambience is mind blowing as you get to have a meal by the sea. We went for dinner and the night time dinner experience by the beach was awesome 💯. They were playing live music which was very good.
Food: Ordered Seer fish fry and prawn biryani. Both of which were delicious. I have had never had such a tasty prawn biryani. They also serve alcohols which we did not try.
Service: Service was prompt and and the server was very efficient. 💯
They have a wash basin. They don't have a washroom.

Went for a late lunch. Food was tasty with a great view and beach access. Though not much good options to try on the menu and a few that I wanted to try was going to take 45 minutes for preparation.

Nice quiet place on the beach. However used to be more secluded now it’s picking up. Seeing more crowd here now. Compared to other shacks in Goa this place has decent pricing. Quality and taste of food used to be much better. Gone down a lil bit. Still a good place overall.

Just as we left it began to rain and there were no taxis so the manager organised a car to make sure we got home safely.

Nice place, frequented by locals and Taj crowd. Food as usual is a mix of Asian (Chinese) and Indian, all to an excellent shack standard. Prices are cheap and no tax. Recommended
Very good place to have some food with a sea view. We visited here in the late afternoons and enjoyed lunch. The vegetable goan curry is there best. Only the thing I noticed was little bit rude staff otherwise everything was just perfect.

Its very near to tax exotica resort beach entry. Two & four wheeler parking available. Beach shacks also available during day time. Food was really tasty and budget friendly. Drinks also available on a reasonable cost.

JoeCons Shack is located on the Benaulim beach, right next to Taj Exotica beach. Shack is opened only through the summer season. You won't find any shacks on the beach through monsoon season, as they have to be removed due to weather/high seas.
This shack is a great spot to enjoy sunset, along with drinks and tasty food. Once in the shack, you can use their beach chairs as well. Food and drinks are in reasonable prices. Shack offers different varieties of food, but we always go for local, Goan food as it is very tasty. You can also enjoy a live music during your dinner. Tables are available inside of the shack and on the beach as well. This is one of our favourite spots to visit while in Goa.
Food was good, staff was friendly, helpful and professional. Right on the beach ~ fantastic views. Only gave it four stars because the food was more North Indian than Goan. However, the Goan Chorizos Stuff Naan was fantastic.
