Beach overlooking beach beds for lunch, what more can one all for? The service is prompt and food is delicious. Unfortunately there are way too many crows scavenging around and one needs to watch out. The French fries came with dressing sauce that we asked for refill multiple times. 4/5 just because of high prices, else everything was wonderful...

Best place to have good food with a stunning view.
Come here and watch the sunset while sipping onto some cool cocktails and beer and also don't forget to try out their calamari rings and pizza.
This place is lit on Saturdays with the young crowd of goa which gathers and party till the morning.
Great music and great food during weekends... must try their speciality... the portion size is a bit small but it depends from person to person... slightly on the expensive side.
Other than going for parties, having a meal while watching the sunset is another thing to do here. Food was surprisingly great. We ordered chicken reachado(loved this; must try), Malaysian chicken satay(bit sweet but good), burnt garlic chicken fried rice and chicken green masala. For drinks we ordered virgin Pina colada and pineapple elderflower; both were great. Good service and reasonable prices.
One of the best I’ve been to amazing place with good music and beautiful lighting, the food is also very tasty and worth it , best to go with a group of friends u can also play pool there and they throw amazing parties on weekends or other occasions
The ambience is great. We visited on a January night, there was a chill in the air (they had a bonfire! Loved it, never thought would need a bonfire to warm up in Goa). They had live music, it was a Saturday night. The food was good, have to recommend the prawn curry, it was amazing. Would love to visit again!
The place is beautiful just before sunset, before all the chaos hits the location. You can lounge at your convenience without the staff bothering you again and again. Reservation and overcoats (for the dew) recommended for night trips especially weekends.
super chill place in Benaulim. wonderful ambiance, even better on the weekends with the inhouse dj. happy with the food and have a good selection of beer. had loads of fun at the pool table. 5/5 would recommend.

When you say the word a hidden gem, when it comes to restaurants, The Southern Deck is a real, hidden gem. The vibe this place emmits just by looking at it is so soothing. Couple good vibes, with the sea view, and you really have an incredible dining experience. The dining experience I can rest assure you is nothing you can compare to.
One of the signature dishes of this place is the Legendary 'Sausage naan'. Impeccably crispy on request. Second dish recommendation is the 'Southern Deck Special Fried Rice'. A fried rice that has everything you can think off except mushrooms! Don't worry vegetarians, TSD have you covered. Another request to the waiters can be the 'Homemade Prawn Balchão'. Veg option can be the 'Stuffed Mushrooms' stuffed with spinach and cheese. On the dessert front, one just has to try out their Serradura! Without a doubt, the best I have tasted so far, because its home made.
The place even has a pool table. The bar serves up some lip smacking classic cocktails plus some of the bartenders own creations. Hookah/Shisha is availabe too (extra charges applied). Lastly, one cannot ignore their bonfire! Yes a bonfire.
Summing up, the quality of food and beverage on offer at The Southern Deck is not going to disappoint you. They even have a waiter by the name of Tilok, who will literally bring you the moon! (conditions apply)! The staff make you feel warm and welcomed from the moment you step into the restaurant, and that is really where your dining experience starts.

TSD is hands down the best beach bar and bistro in South Goa. The place is very classy (the lighting is great for pictures). The owners are amazing people and the staff are very helpful. My friends and I love spending time here . Don't forgot to have a frozen watermelon mojito when you visit.
One of the best shacks in Goa. Had an amazing time with my friends and would definitely visit again. Great ambiance, clean and very friendly staff. We we're really happy with the food we got, I would recommend the green Thai curry with the Jasmine rice. Sitting by the bonfire was the perfect end to a memorable night.

This is the best Shack in goa which is clean with nice parking space. Visited this restaurant long time back but closed now due to Non season but I'm sure when it will open again will visit again.

It has an amazing ambience and the best part is the food. I ate stuff from the secret menu and it was mind blowing. It's a place worth going if you want to chill and have a good time with your family and friends. To get the secret specials of the day ask for Lance the manager. I would definitely visit this place again.
The southern deck is a nice snack on benaulim beach . The food here is good and the service was good too. Ambiance at this shack also was really good. They have a pool table as well as a foosball table but it's always jam packed with their regulars hogging them. They provide a service to pick u up from the parking area till the shack on their modified 4 wheeler vehicle which is needed.

This is by far the most happening spot in South Goa! It’s got the ambience of a shack but also the privacy of a fine dining restaurant. The food tastes great too. Loved their Mushroom Risotto and Chicken Steak. They also have a very hospitable staff which if quite rare for that area.
This place is come to kill the competition in the market. The food menu is amazing, however amazing it looks on the menu, more delicious it taste as well.
I like the beef chilly fry in goan style. They have a good choice of bar menu as well. The location and the ambience is very good. Moreover they have a pic and drop service from the main parking to their shack, which is very thoughtful, as only 4x4 vehicle could reach the shack.
This place is definitely gonna be my addha!
Being a hotelier I must say, southern deck has excellent hospitality and excellent layout of the restaurant.
Stayed in Benaulim for 8 days out of which visited this place 3 days in a row. Place is run by young owners striving to make the place more inviting.

Staff - the female owner is very friendly, humble and inviting.The young male counterpart clearly does not believe in hospitality and is more concerned about playing snooker in his own restaurant over his customers. Heads up

Visited this place twice during first week of Jan 18.. Ambiance is terrific and the place is perfect if you want to spend a evening on the beach. Ordered for fish which was fresh and tasty. Beef tongue was one of the best we have ever had.
Staff is very friendly and polite. Although the place was fully reserved, the manager made a special arrangement for additional table. Must visit and definitely I will visit this place once m back in goa ❤️☺️

Must visit shack in benaulim with an awesome ambience, live music, beautiful beach view and most importantly the food was too good, and the fish was fresh and tasty.. a very warm and welcoming place.. it’s become one of my favorite must visit place from now..
We came here for some booze and then we sat here for almost 3-4hours. Enjoyed a lot. Perfect view from the deck. The service was fantastic. It is more better if you visit later in the day because the lights make it awesome to sit and enjoy with friends. Food was fantastic as well.
The place has a chilled out vibe with good music to groove to. They are on the pricey side however it's worth the experience. The cocktails are a good try, paired with the pepperoni pizza and beef steak is a great combination. They also have live music. The service is prompt and the servers are polite. Its a beautiful beach facing restaurant with swings facing the sea to spend the evening unwinding. Do visit the place when you are around.

Best restaurant in Goa till now. Loved it even before the food arrived. Staff could be trained more though (Didn't know what dish they brought, brought the wrong order). Probably new staff so it's fine. Otherwise, 9/10. Edited to add: Sharpen your steak knives please
Fun place to hangout in the evening. It gets packed during weekends and hard to get tables near beach. Recommended to book a table before 7 pm.
The food was fine, service was quite slow.
They had live music and the crowd was good.
Don't forget to experience the swing by the beach.
A must visit place if you are in South Goa! Each and every item was impeccable.
The ambiance has been beautifully decorated. We went in mid July, so it was raining incessantly, but they got it nicely covered.
I loved their Veg Pizza, Mushroom jackets and Prawn Malai starters.
Their service is equally good and all the members are great.

It's right on the beach.
The place has been beautifully decorated with a dance floor and a live band. Food choices are great ,mainly continental, and the service is great. Right from the time you enter, there is someone to take care of. Food and Liquor is quite pricey (especially Liquor).
Ample car parking space.
Saw rooms are available for stay,but I'm not very sure about them and hence no t a part of the review.
Well maintained place at a fantastic location! The place was just amazing to hang out and enjoy a nice conversation. The food and service were good. Overall, a gr8 experience!

We came to Southern Deck for sunset dinner and cocktails. Our server Krishna was very helpful and managed to get us an outdoor table for dinner and drinks without reservations. I strongly suggest making reservations to not be disappointed. The garlic bread was amazing and elderflower gin cocktail was spot on. We got mezze platter, paneer chilli, chilli garlic pomfret and prawn curry. The pomfret was best I have ever had. Must visit.
Great place to enjoy your evening in Goa on the beach. Just next to the connected to the beach. Great ambiance sitting outside and inside. Great table service and good food . Serves liquor, hukka, food and plenty of snacks. Good live music and good food. It gives you option to move on to beach right from the restaurant.
