The food was pretty good. I went here about 2 years ago so dont really remember what the dish name was but it was some tomato based risotto. The presentation was definitely there, and made the food appealing. The ambience and seating area also is nice, great for pictures.
Place is lovely! Great ambience! Lip smacking food. The price is on a higher side but it’s perfect for you to treat yourself once in a while!
Don’t forget to try the lamb chops! They are best known for their wood oven pizzas. We also loved their pastas!
Beautiful place tucked in the middle of Richmond town traffic madness. But my oh my, beautiful ambience, wonderful Mediterranean cuisine, delectable wood fried pizzas (bit oily though) and courteous staff. Would love to come back.

The food was so delicious. We loved it. It's just that, the ambience was a little too bright for candlelight. It would have been better if the place was slightly darker to give that proper feel of candle light.
Lovely place, 1st thing that welcomes you is the beautiful beachy ambiance of the place You will not be able to get enough of it for sure! Every corner is done so artistically. And Coming to service, which is also very good here. The food menu is very focused not to elaborate - tried their hot chocolate & pasta. Clearly their hot chocolate steals the show! Perfect sugar and love the marshmallows that were served along with it

Nestled in Ashok Nagar on Wood Street a beautiful place and a perfect one for a romantic evening or a lazy afternoon. This place has some good interiors and the ambience is very good. A please for a good date with your BAE. Music is lovely and the food is delicious, and the drinks are good. Service can improve. This place is well maintained and kept clean. The pizza oven on the other end of the restaurant is quieter and more secluded.

Amazing ambience. Truly authentic European and Mediterranean food. Mocktail was a letdown. Expensive place but worth it if you wanna take your date.
Had been to this place on a weekday for lunch , the ambience is pretty chill and the place looks good for a peaceful lunch. We ordered two pizzas , a quiche, Gnochetti , Tiramisu and Chocolate curd with hazelnut crunch. The portion size is small and and the service very slow. But the food was good and met expectations. If the service was a little faster it'd would have been a reap good experience .

Many years ago, during the inauguration of this restaurant with a Greek theme, I had joined a few buddies for a quick bite and a drink during lunch time. That was 2005 I think. Point is, I barely recall anything about the place as my tenure was maybe 15-20 mins inside.
So Jan 2020 yesterday- 11th I targeted Olive Beach ( as I still call it) for Dinner. The prime thing that works for me here, is the quaint peaceful ambiance with a variety of sitting arrangements. Most other restaurants resemble fish markets, thanks to our own desi crowd that barely cares for basic decorum. The diktat is- I am spending so I need to make others feel it. Anyways, I digress-- Back to Olive Beach-
Were guided to our table in the central part, that stands before the out-yard sitting ( this looks really nice just like a scene out of Mamma Mia!
With a grumble and grudge I opted out of the excellent drink list as I had to drive, and cops are hyper on Sat nights. tried to be content with a ginger Ale Can which was served with ice and lemon. Nice.
For starter I took the Gambas Pil Pil Prawns which was very delectable yet subtle and flavorful with cilantro and chill lime- the prawns were really fresh and the dish was well presented with side dish of grilled bread and a bread basket that came with the drinks- Full marks here.
I wanted to also order the Caesar salad ,and substitute the chicken with Ham. Chappie who served me said he had no Ham- but could put bacon instead. Not bad an idea yet as a seasoned a cook and diner I backed out cuz bacon doesn't sit that well quite sit with Caesar dressing.! Anyhoo... I did observe the Beef or Pork dishes were thin in presence compared to chicken and mutton. Our desi influence? - even some traditional signature beef pork dishes were not on the menu. C'mon, in a Greek/Italian restaurant?
I ordered what I always order first in Italian- Parma ham pizza- Its my rain check on the quality of preparation. And wow! The pizza was marvelous- Each ingredient on its own was beyond perfection- Mozzarella, Prosciutto Parma ham, the figs, the spinach and last but not the least- the pizza bread. Absobloodylutely perfect, delicious and a prime example of gourmet cooking- This would have bowled Gord Ramsey clean! Bravo- In fact it t was so good that I went for a repeat.
This cost me the lobster Risotto which was my next. But for me heavy duty fine dining is impossible without the drinks so had to pause, and let go of desert Tres Leches too. Hmm. Next time I come here, I will come with Uber- hands free heehaw..
So thank you Olive Beach for a great dining experience. Keep it up. If you could have a few more pork beef based signature dishes- its a home run all the way.

Nestled inside a street, with a not so visible name board, you might just wonder if you're at the right place or not. But something about this place intrigues you and steals your second glance.... Asking for a third. The big arched blue door opens up to let you inside one of the most beautiful, gorgeous, romantic places in the city!
We didn't reserve a table as it was a spontaneous plan and we were a group of 4. All the tables were booked but the maitre d was very courteous and allowed us to sit at the one and only 'sofa table' making us feel like we were VIPs here.
The ambience was impeccable and immediately lifts up your mood. For drinks, we had The Socialist and Herbal Sling - the former is now of my favourite drinks ever. For food, we had their Seafood Veloute, Crab Cakes, Harissa Prawns, Bhetki fish, and Sea Bass. The seafood is here very good and the chef really knows how to ensure the delicacy of the meat is preserved... It's simply scrumptious and a real treat for your palate.
Officially one of my most favorite places to dine and drink in India.
Food was good and tasty. But very less options for pure vegetarian. Pasta was very tasty.

One of the places in Bangalore where you could take your date for a perfect dinner with a romantic Ambience. Food is really good but super pricey. Also, the milk cake dessert which i had ordered was not at all good. However, apart from the dessert everything else was fantastic 🤘
I wanted to come here for long time. Finally visited this place and had a wonderful experience. I love both the indoor and outdoor ambiance very much, it feels like your r in a different world.
I loved the Seafood soup here . They are famous for meditteranean cuisine so we had to try the non veg platter. The dessert was also good.

Olive bar and kitchen will always hold a special place in my heart. Apart from the delicious food, great service and soothing ambiance, this place was where I took my better half for our first date. And, the place rarely disappoints!
The last time we were there, along with some good old wine, we ordered the - Harissa Prawn that I would give five stars for presentation and 4 stars for taste (melt in the mouth prawns that emit a mix of flavours in your mouth). We ordered for one more plate. The seabass was next - just about done right and the fish was juicy and gave a tangy taste. My main course included Three Little Pigs and pork lovers have to try this dish - a good, tasty portion of pig belly with the right combination of fat and meat that seems to break away in the mouth. Dessert was the tried and tested Tiramisu. I have had better at other places.
All these food seem to go nicely with the ambiance that can be at best termed 'romantic'. Candelight dinner, good food and great company. Total bliss. Price is slightly on the higher side but then, Olive bar and kitchen more than makes up for it with a great experience with delectable food and great service.

Hands down the best restaurant experience I have had in Bangalore. They have everything just right here. Right from the moment you step the interaction with their staff is very welcoming. The ambience that has been created is perfect if you’re celebrating something with that someone special or just hanging out with friends over a good meal. The food here is fantastic it is an absolute treat for all your senses right from the presentation to its taste you will find it hits all the right places. The beverage menu on offer is also excellent and equally complements the food on offer. The cocktails are not to be missed. A special mention for the staff as they are very well trained, have in depth knowledge of the menu and will make recommendations based on what you want to try. Overall a must visit restaurant when in Bangalore.
I went here for the second time after maybe ten years. Like all legendary restaurants, this place continues to stand the test of time. Still relevant. But maybe my last visit was more memorable. Like most famous chefs keep liking to change their menu, I’m guessing even this one has. Somehow some of the epic ones have gone missing. Like the apple pumpkin soup if I remember right. But yes the range continues to thrill you. And it is unique. Ideal for a romantic evening. Or just a family out. The only crib I have is that maybe am they should avoid cover versions in the music. And some really badly sung ones.
The ambience of the place maks you feel like you are in Greece. The food be it the pasta or the wood fired pizza were excellent. Reasonable pricing with good service made for a memorable visit.

Very nice ambience for a dinner date. The food was great. The prawns in harisa was lovely and the tiramisu for dessert was excellent. Prices are a bit above par but worth it.
I visited the place on the occasion of my boyfriends birthday..The candle light dinner and the music was perfect for the ambience..It seems to be in a different place altogether..Only difference is that they wont arrange anything special on the occasion of birthday.
We ordered mushroom soup which was perfect for the taste buds..And the non veg platter was something you should definitely try..It has different varieties of starters(almost 10) .Then we ordered 8 hour lamb in main course which was perfectly cooked and tasted awesome...Lastly the baked cheesecake as a dessert was cherry on the cake..It melts in the mouth..
I would recommend this place and would definitely like to visit again.😊
Cool place in richmond road with nice ambience and good food. I liked the woodfired and combined with the tiramisu for dessert, it made for an excellent meal.
Lovely ambience and awesome food! We were there for a birthday celebration buffet so had a chance to try a number of items. The food was nice, the drinks and desserts were absolutely awesome! and the ambience (especially on a rainy day) was fantastic! Kudos to the restaurant's designer and the team in the kitchen!

'Olive Bar and Kitchen' is a beautiful restaurant. It is undoubtedly an ideal place for a date night. The crowd is young, the ambience is extraordinary and the food is delectable!
While I loved almost everything about the place, here are a few things that dissappointed me:
1. The receptionist was rude. She told us to wait and ignored us for quite some time. Such a let down!
2. Please do get yourself a reservation. We were literally just 1 minute late and we didn't get a seat. We had to wait for 10-15 mins. And it got really hot with all the candles that were lit. So yeah, get a reservation!
3. The chicken Espedata was basically all show and no substance. It was just tandoori chicken. Nothing extraordinary about it. Do not order it!
Other than that, I had absolutely no complaints. The service is great. The staff is very cordial (except the receptionist) and the service is pretty fast too.
The food is great. Here's what we ordered:
1. Chicken Espedata - A big let down!
2. Duo duck - Absolutely delicious! Perfectly cooked duck. Probably the best I've had so far.
3. Tagliatelle crab meat - this too was just lip smacking. It tasted heavenly. Must try!
4. Sangria wine
5. Manhattan
Overall, the food is great. Although it is on the pricier side, the food and the ambience make it worth the money and the time.
So, if you're panning a romantic date night, go to 'Olive bar and Kitchen'. You will not be disappointed!

Came here for my husband’s birthday and we had a very pleasant evening as the ambience was amazing and the staff was extremely courteous. We had the bhetki for appetizers and it was cooked to perfection. The green apple martini was the highlight. The mushroom risotto had a little too much butter but the cheesecake as dessert was to die for. Overall a great place to spend an evening at.

Such a romantic greece setting... just fall in love the moment you enter , its beautiful both in morning and evenings... the food is great (m a vegetarian) ,, though can be better interms of taste and oiliness (pasta was kinda oily for me). the spread is amazing and they have a lot of great continental stuff to offer.

This place is perfect for a romantic candlelight dinner. Great food, delicious taste, great mocktails and the candlelight set up will definitely lighten up your mood. Only thing is its little bit expensive. Also it may be because a lot of foreigners visit this place. Otherwise its just a perfect place for a romantic getaway. I had a great time here.
Went here last week and was a bit disappointed compared to my visit last year. Chicken Liver Patte was a let down. The main course is what made us feel better. Giving it a 4/5 based on previous experience. Hope I don't get disappointed next time.
Olive Bar and Kitchen has always been on my list and could finally visit it in the beginning of this month.
The place is done extremely well with white walls, wooden and blue combinations. The overall service is good if you over look a few things here and there.
Tried the Vegetarian Platter, Ratatouille, Cheese Cake. Paired it with Fratelli Wine.
I liked their concept of platter it included about 5-6 starters perfect for 2 people. The Ratatouille was delicious.
The Cheesecake was just right.

Olive beach, This place is as beautiful as the name is. Your go to destination for a romantic date. Food is yummy ambience is way beyond Beautiful. Take your partner if you are looking for a candle light dinner kinda destination in and around bangalore. I loved the pizza here, definitely going back for more.
An excellent place to head to for a night out. The ravoili was really good and so was the pizza. Should try the hazelnut cake. Prices are right for the experience offered.

It is one of those places which makes you feel that you are eating Mediterranean food in a Mediterranean place. The ambiance is fine and looks great in the evening but I'm sure it should look good during the day as well. Food presentation was striking. I clearly remember how well the Burrata salad was made. Their cheese was on point. The candy-striped mushroom ravioli was good, but I wouldn't say great. They had good wine and beer - Grover Shiraz Rose and Hoegaarden Beer. Service was fine and we had a nice leisurely dinner. A little bit high on the pricing. It is one of those places where you can go to celebrate a birthday or an anniversary.
Went to this place on a friday for dinner, to start with the restaurant doesn’t have a sign board to identify that’s its olives, none the less a good place decent ambience. The food quality was great however service was an issue with the restaurant not being able to deliver on time.Overall a good experience, would recommend of you have time at hand and want to have a long and quiet meal.

This place is truly romantic with its candlelit tables and the whitewashed decor ala Greece and the beautiful angel lights. A perfect romantic getaway with ur special one. The food is perfectly blended and served. Pasta served was totally out of the world with its right mixture of sauces. Beverages are also perfectly blended with right mixture of concoction. It's a must visit place with ur special one!!!! Most importantly booking ur table in prior is strongly recommended.
Being a foodie i couldn't enjoy the food because the ambience was so nice. It's a proper candle light dinner place, very peaceful, well maintained. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. By mistake i ordered something which I didn't like but i would really appreciate the manager who noticed and offered me something else. That's was really kind. I will definitely visit this place.
I've been to Olive several times, both for special events in the outdoor space and for dinner. It has always been nice. When you step in, the whitewashed walls and quirky decor feel like a Mediterranean home. The food and drinks are to match. Pizza is super yummy as are the prawns with harisa. Service is attentive but could be a bit more friendly.
I had been to the place for my birthday dinner long back, when the whole place was lit up and set for Christmas. The decor was warm, cozy and beautiful.
Everything right from the food, the presentation, the service was amazing. The Mediterranean cuisine was up to the mark.
