Nice ambience and food. We went for ala cart, Its satvik food, however, they do use root vegetables like potato, carrot etc. The staff is friendly and quite suggestive on the menu. We ordered extra food by mistake for 2 people and they were courteous enough to mention that to us and requested us to reduce some of the food we ordered. The staff was right, we felt full with little food to spare after the meal. Really nice and must-try for all. Yet to try buffet but given the crowd I think its good too.
Awesome Food Without Onion and Garlic... Service also very nice.. good place
Located near the parking lot of Isckon temple, this place serves sattvik food i.e. no onion and no garlic. However that doesn't affect the taste of food. We ordered few dishes and was blown by the taste. Ambience and service was also commendable. They have both buffet and ala carte options. Must try if you love North Indian cuisine.
Amazing food and the place. It is in ISKCON premises. Pure vegetarian restaurant and staff was friendly. Great food and the signature dish is Paan Ice cream was amazing.
Great quality of food. Good job over all. Ambience is very homely. Will return soon with friends. Hare Krishna
I have an awesome experience. I really appreciate the service. Most of all Manisha Chouksey help me to show the place inside Iskcon Temple since wasn't visit the place before. I fall in love with the food because really the food quality is perfect #5stars and the best part is quantity which served by the person in every plate. I haven't eaten veg food with such a great taste. I preferred many of my friends to visit the place with family and friends and feel the place with the great taste. My slogan for The Higher Taste "food will change everything in your life so just taste it". Might be from the menu looks costly but when the food comes a plate is enough for 4 person. The day was awesome experience since the dinner was awesome. Thanks a lot to Manisha who showed me the place.GOOD FOOD ALWAYS GIVE YOU GOOD MOOD. FEELING HAPPY.
I must say that 1000s of people like me who are Purely Vegetarian (No Onion NO Garlic) Foodie and seriously maintains the “Principles” of having “Pure Saatwik Food” or “Pure Jain Food”……..…will be always “Excited” to have food at The Higher Taste ISKCON every time.
I visit ISKCON The Higher Taste almost everyday to have yummy yummy food to fill my hungry tummy.
The Main Reasons are:
1) Its not only just a Food, it's actually the Prasad (Prasadam) of Lord Shri Krishna directly in the form of delicious food, because each and every food prepared over there are first offered to Lord Shri Krishna.
2) The Food is absolutely yummy yummy and very Healthy too.
3) They really prepare verities of delicious food which can be taken by even a Diabetic Patient or Children too, because I myself being a patient have every time over there.
4) Fantastic calm and cool ambience with positive vibes. That is the reason why, if you feel that you are having Tensions then visit this place, have food, you will feel relaxed for sure.
5) Very decent, courteous and caring behaviour of the staffs, feels like I am at my home itself.
I am highly Grateful and Thankful to Lord Shri Krishna for giving me the opportunity to have food at The Higher Taste (ISKCON) every time.
Amazing place for lunch & dinner. The ambience is really pretty and the service is quick. Staff is very polite and helpful.
1). Broccoli Paneer Tikka –This was delicious.
2).Paneer Pudhina Simla Mirch –Amazing Flavours.
3).Plum Cake-Loved this. Highly Recommended
Though a vegan restaurant it’s highly expensive and does not reach the expectation of a foodie, the spice level has to be raised a little to enhance the eaters experience.
Very tasty.. slightly expensive.. nice ambience... veg only... only North Indian item... no South Indian items... quick delivery... the waiters can be more professional...
It's a sattvic fine dine restaurant located inside ISKCON temple campus. The food is really good. Paneer items are the best. The service and ambience is good. You get a whole new experience of having with good music.

Vegetarian's paradise for a big spread of buffet! Most dishes were to our delight except for a couple of salads! Option of both buffet & ala carte too. Must visit if you visit Iskcon!
Consistently brillant food had in Higher Taste over the last year of going there. I was really impressed with the service and waiting staff. Will be back for sure.
Amazing food experience here. Loved the fact that they serve sattvik food and so many unique options to choose from. Absolutely liked each and every dish and they were unique in taste . My family loved spending time here and we will be back soon. Dal makhani and kadi were very nice. @gaurav maheshwari
We had heard about Higher Taste on a number of occasions but had never had the chance to visit. Finally ended up going to the restaurant for a family get together.
Must say, was truly amazed at the wide spread of delicious dishes and the variety of cuisines available and all JAIN!!! No Onion and No Garlic used in any of the preparations!!!
Right from the starters to chaat items, the main course which was a mix of North Indian, Italian, South Indian and some Gujarati dishes also was extremely well prepared and tasty. One cannot do justice to all the items with a limited stomach!!!
Kudos to the staff at Higher Taste; they looked after us very well and were extremely attentive.
The highlight of the afternoon were multiple choices available for dessert – each and every tooth was completely satisfied at the end of the meal!!!
Awesome restaurant way inside the Iskcon campus. The food was excellent. We tried the Ala Carte and everything ordered was done to perfect taste. A must visit place if you are a vegetarian. Very well trained, courteous ,polite ,and attentive staff. The one who served us Asish was very polite. We didn’t feel it was saatvik restaurant since all the food we ordered were very well made. Will definitely visit again.
The paneer tikka starter and tiramisu was delicious. Tomato shorba was very yummy. All in all authentic food.
Tried the international cuisine of the menu. The food was amazing and very tasty.
The pizza was a bit uncooked on the base.
The rest of the items were delicious.
Amazing and very friendly staff and service was prompt. Ambience is really nice for a peaceful lunch.
Best besttt and the best
It is located near iskcon temple
Visited this place twice for dinner
The staff here were awesome and so friendly
A most try buffet
Food was very tasty and staff Ajith Kumar and Abhijeet were very courteous and well mannered. Ambience was also very good. Overall very good experience
Are you a vegetarian. Do you like your food without onion n garlic. Then this place should be on your list to try.
Location - its located inside the premises of iskcon temple, in rajajinagar.
Ambience - a simple one yet nicely done with the concept of the temple. They have two floors the ground floor serves buffets and the first floor for ala carte.
Staff - friendly and helpful.
Food - the buffet spread is fairly decent with huge nearly 50+ menu options
~Soup. Have tried the asparagus and tomato
~Starters - 4-5 options are u can relish, as you don't feel them to be oily.
~Live counters - chats and Manchurian.
~Main course - you have 2-3 bread options with 5-6 curries that are pretty good and remind you if home food and are not loaded with spices. Surprisingly even without onion and garlic they taste too good.
There are also 2-3rice items with the regular dal, toove, rasam, khadi and all worth trying.
~ Dessert - love their malpua n rabdi, sabudana kheer and paan and mango icecream.
This was my second visit to this place and liked the food. Next time must try the ala carte
If you are veggie, don’t miss this place ! If you are not a veggie, you need to taste here and you will to remain veggie for life . This place is neat and clean and first class. You will not believe that our money has so much value. 😆
I went with a big group of people last week. We had previoualy tried the buffet. This time we thought to try out a la carte as buffet did not seem to be worth the money last time. We were highly satisfied by the quality, quantity and cleanliness. The mango rasgulla chat, malai kofta, stuffed kulcha, laccha paratha were the few dishes among many which won our heart. All the dishes were tasty and satisfying. I recommend it to everyone who wants a good quality vegeterain meal in Bangalore. We paid approximately 500 rupees per head.
This is cool place to hangout with friends and family as well. You will have variety of food available in this restaurant. Staff is respectful and I like their serving style. Ambience is good and refreshing. Neat and clean place. Visit this place once you will have good experience. My overall experience was too good.
RATING
Ambience 5/5
Service 5/5
Cost 4.5/5
This is a beautiful place with delicious sattvic food. When I read that there's no onion and garlic in the dishes, I expected the food to be mediocre. But I was pleasantly surprised as there was a good number of tasty options in the buffet. Loved the ambience as well.
Only problem was getting to the restaurant. I was led into iskcon Temple by Google maps lol
It is best place. Tasty as well as satvik food. Best place to have food after watching closing ceremony of iskon temple closing. This review is for alcarte
This weekend was all about eating out and I am still reeling under the after effects. Since we were in the area of Rajajinagar to run some errands, we decided to go to The Higher taste in Isckon for darshan and our customary Saturday lunch.
Ambience: The ambience is clean, subtle and a little fancier than the other normal restaurant in the venue.
Food: We went for the Buffet and boy was I bowled over! I was grumbling since I wanted to have some chicken, being the meat lover that I am and was not happy about the fact that we were having Vegetarian. However, once we saw the spread and I tasted it, I ate humble pie.
We opted for the Buffet which was priced at around 800 bucks. The food offered here is Satthvic and devoid of onions, garlic etc. We started off with the Tomato soup and then had some salads like kosambari, Green salad, macaroni salad etc.
The starters had tiny samosas, paneer, broccoli sticks, maddur vada, dahi vada etc. They had two live counters, one for pani puri and aloo tikki and the other for kolkata kaatti rolls. The main course was a myriad of choices, with north and south indian and a bit of chinese and italian as well. The spread was good and tasty.
The desserts were yummy, with an assortment of indian sweets, pastries, mouse etc. What I loved was the fresh chocolate and vanilla ice cream on offer. A definite winner.
Service: Since this was a buffet, it was mostly self service but when ever we needed to be served on the table or needed anything, the staff were courteous and accommodating.
The service was good.. The ambience was also good.. Calm and peaceful..
Talking about the food, the menu read Sattvic food (which says no eggs, garlic & onions) which I had never tasted before.. I was skeptical about the taste of the food.. but let me tell you that the food was tooooo yummy and the quantity is also a yayyyy! A must try place ☺
A great place especially for vegetarians. Too many delicacy variations, hard to choose which one to pick and what not to eat. Advice to choose the buffet, worth every penny. Buffet includes pure south Indian dishes, chats with all time favorite panipuri, breads with rotis and sandwich, chineese and italian choices for pasta, noodles etc.. and of course the desserts. Totally loved the experience. Great staff, humble service and an average ambience. Good place to visit with family as well since the food they serve is very much satvikam too.

It's one of the best satvik restaurant! I have been here multiple times. The service, hygiene and food is awesome! I love the desserts and starters they serve here!
Tucked away inside the campus of iskcon rajajinagar it serves saativ food without any garlic and onion.. the food tastes really wonderful and wanting to have more.. veg food presented at it's best .. loved it
This place located inside the iconic iskon temple ! The food over here is awesome! The taste is also very much authentic! Staff are also well trained !
It’s a simple vegetarian restaurant . Food was good . Staff were friendly and service was satisfactory . One can try this place during the visit at ISKCON temple .
Good food bu Not worth the hype or price Of 792.
Dessert were not good, they can improve in that section.
Good hygiene and decent decoration but again desserts were big let down.
For a tasty, organic and a vegetarian meal, one must visit this joint. We happen to arrive very late at night for dinner yet the staff was courteous, polite and helpful. The food that we had ordered was very soothing and yet delicious. It is more like home cooked meals only very tasty. The gulab jamun with rabdi was especially exquisite.
One the best Resturant in blgr and located inside iskon temple and its has only Satwick food food is simply yummy and weekends r very busy and must try restaurant for vegge lovers
Good Place for Family dinning...the staff and service is just excellent...!! The have buffet n al-a-cart must visit for new food experience...!!
It’s a really good place for sattvic good
I wouldn’t suggest the desserts here
The taste of the food in the buffet is amazing but downside it’s a buffet hence you cannot except hot food unless it’s freshly refilled
Service doesn’t count here but the staff are humble but they’re almost never to be found
The biryani is the best thing I had here
The pumpkin soup, the raitha, the kokum drink were some of the amazing dishes
There’s a thing about the cure in this place
It’s really sweet and tasty
One of our favorite restaurant. The food here is prepared without using garlic and onion but still tastes good. The variety and the taste takes you again to this restaurant.
Good food with peaceful environment.
Very hygienic and clean.
A total family restaurant. Service is also decent.
Ambience is good. Prices are affordable.
Service 5 stars
Taste 5 stars.
Ambience 5 stars
This place deserves more than 5 stars.
Service Best veg restaurant in town. Have been there many times. This place never disappoints me.
Great place to have some Sattvic food , there's a lot of variety and the ambiance is quite nice , the gulab jamun with rabdi is a must have!!
The place is a must try. We had mango rasagulla chaat, paneer tikka, hariyali stuffed kulcha , pan based icecream & elneer payasam. Staff are polite , food tastes good. The place is also very hygiene.
The veg buffet is the best in this part of the town.
The ambience is great for families and it is very well maintained. Crowded during the weekends.
I personally loved the soup and the dessert options. A lot to choose from and everything is eggless!
It was a really good experience with a lot of variety of dishes and the menu of the weekdays and weekends both are really lip smacking. Totally worth it!!!
One of the finest restaurants in Banglore! I loved the ambience and interior decorations. I went to Ala Carte. Only thing which I'd like to recommend the restaurant is to reduce the volume of food. We wasted a considerable amount of food since we weren't able to complete the food.
Excellent place with limited starters. Nevertheless, the ambience and garnishing of food and the taste is amazing. It's mind blowing that food tastes so awesome without the use of onion and garlic. A huge fan of their Dumdaar Biryani. Worth visiting repeatedly. 🤩😎👍
What a feast to my tummy. As I enter the restaurant jist with the smell of food my gastric juices started screating. Each and every item in buffet was awesome. In real sence gods cuisine.
Buffet is good, starters has to be changed. Desserts are awsum. Ambiance is good, sitting area has to be increased for buffet section. Thank u
Just as the name suggests, a wonderful place. Went in for a buffet lunch after a darshan at the ISKCON temple. Sattvik food at its best- you won’t know the difference as the taste does full justice. Good spread - loved the soup cream of broccoli. Starters, chats and salads. Wide range of choices for main course- South Indian and North Indian. Loved the paneer tikka starter- paneer was soft and fresh. Was filled with starters and main course so couldn’t try all the desserts- tried the kheer and cham-cham . Must say whatever I had was good in taste
Been here on a Sunday afternoon with two other friends trying to have some satvik Cuisine.
The Restaurant is located in Iskon, Rajajinagar.
There are two floors, The ground floor exclusively for the buffet, and the first floor for ala carte.
We ordered
1) Malai Wali Harigobi Ka Shorba:
Brocolli Soup, It was very good, the texture and the consistency were excellent. Definitely try it.
2)Potato Milagu Fry:
The starter made from baby potatoes, Which are fried with assorted Chettinad spices and a tadka is added with curry leaves, the dish overall was ok. could have been better.
Main Course :
We ordered Bread (Kulcha and Tandoori Roti) with a Curry called as Sangam, The curry was basically a dish with three different curry bases from the chef, very nicely presented and the taste was good, the rotis were soft and the kulcha had the right filling.
Desserts: We ordered a Paan Icecream and Elaneer Payasam: The desserts were great to close the lunch with.
An excellent place if you are looking for some satvik food with great taste.
Tried the ala carte menu today. Aloo tikki starter and broccoli soup were pretty good. We tried the vegetable paratha, that could've been better. The fruit lassi is a must try.
Ambiance: 3.5/5
Service: 5/5
Food: 4/5
The restaurant is beautiful and gives not the slightest hint that it's a restaurant that serves pure saatvik cuisine.
The staff is very friendly and the service is very prompt. The food is very aromatic and tastes amazing too.
Great place to go to with family and friends for a causal meal. The buffet is too good as well.
Such a wonderful place I've ever seen..price is quite high according to the number of dishes but the taste of food was awesome especially the palak subzi.. Do visit once guys😋
I heard about this place many times and I finally got a chance to visit after ISKCON temple darshan. Located inside the temple premises, this restaurant serves buffet downstairs and a la carte upstairs. We checked both options and after some deliberation, we felt that buffet would be cheaper option as you get to try more varieties for 650 per person including taxes. The ambience is simple but homely and nice. You feel quite cosy and relaxed. Coming to the menu they serve sattvic food, that is no onion and garlic. The welcome drink was fruit juice which was good. The starters included aloo bajji, dahi wada, paneer fried in batter, tandoori baby corn. All the starters were good especially the baby corn and dahi wada. The main course included quite a spread like pasta in white curry sauce, pizza, chop suey, beetroot sambhar, pepper rasam, aloo jeera, palak paneer, lucknowi biriyani, salads, live phulka counter for hot phulkas. The tandoori roti was served at the table. Desserts included chocolate pastry, suji halwa, semiya payasa, vanilla and chocolate cake that can be dipped in chocolate sauce, blueberry mousse, and two types of ice cream. Chocolate cookie and fruit cake. The suji halwa was best in taste. Payasa was not good. Cakes were ok. Service was ok. The buffet is value for money.
There is a lot of variety in the food. Everything is 100% vegetarian and very hygienic. The food tastes brilliant. Does not have too much unwanted masala. Dessert selection is huge and lip smacking! ❤️
Ok before I start the review you must know that I m a hard core non-vegetarian. Someone has to die everyday to feed me😅. So today I visited ' The Higher Taste' which until today I had no idea existed inside the compound of ISKON. As you have already guessed it, yes it's a pure vegetarian restaurant with anti onion and garlic policy. So it's a saatvik bhog basically. I was bit skeptical before coming to this restaurant because its 'vegetarian' obviously. Rarely you go to 100% veg place and endup liking the food. So today was one of those rare days. The spread is very diverse and quality of the food is totally amazing. I 100% recommend this to everyone irrespective of you food choices, trust me it's worth it you will love it. I can't describe every dish I tried here cause they were quit a lot. I will mention a few which got fixated to my brains taste buds. The restaurant has buffet system by the way with saatvik ambience and beautiful painting of Lord kirshna on almost every pillar. So Dosa, coconut chutney and sambar were the best I tried so far. Aalu paratha, sattu paratha you have to try with mango pickle. Cheese corn pizza was just wow. Bhindi fry and stuffed parathas, never thought could make such delicious pair. There were so many yummy fry items I don't even remember the names. For dessert Ras Malai, srikhand, cheese cakes, halwa and so many more. Check out the menu in the photos for more information about the dishes. Visit the place and do let me know if you liked it or not. Also I have no idea about the charges.. as it was someone else's treat.. And by the end of all eating I was so tired and lazy to investigate the cost per head.
Happy eating.. Signing off BAKASUR.

"The Higher Taste", the name has definitely done justice coz the food here is simply amazing and truly to the next level of awesomeness. Lip smacking food in sattvic style , loaded with yumminess, great quantity, rich decor, are all featured in this place.
Situated in the Iskcon temple, towards the backside of Hare Krishna Hill, the place is easily locatable. It has got two floors. The lower floor has buffet and the upper floor has alacarte service. I had been for alacarte and I was overwhelmed with it's richness. Purple and pink decorated wallpaper welcomes you. The well cushioned pink purple white striped huge "Maharaja" type sofa dining is very impressive. The lavish spread of dining area itself awestrucked me. Beautiful lightings fill the room and it has got a peaceful atmosphere. Very alluring and luxurious decor I must say.
After the darshan, went here for lunch with a friend. Chose a comfortable seat and after going through the menu, we decided to order a Potato Milagu Fry. Served with chunks of pineapple, It had the perfect chettinad style, cooked in rich flavor of curry leaves and spices and tasted amazing!! 😍😍 Our main course order included Banarasi Paratha, Paneer Makhandaar and Peas Pulao. My goodness, the parathas were drool-worthy and loved every bite of it. Paratha and paneer curry combination was apt. Thick cubes of paneer, marinated in creamy gravy and blended spices with veggies loaded banarasi paratha was just too good! I highly recommend this dish. 😋😍 And the peas pulao, in basmati rice and peas was very tasty as well. And a point to be noted is, every dish is presented beautifully and the quantity is worth every penny. We actually couldn't finish the potatoes. But scrumptious food like heaven! 😁
Delectable food with a soothing yet pomp ambience and simple yet alluring decor is what this restaurant defines. So get ready to witness this amazing place which is worth every morsel and penny! 😉😊
Since I graduated and got a job, I had to treat my family of 10. So I booked a table on a Sunday for lunch. We preferred the buffet because of the various varieties of dishes. I ate almost all the items and all of them were delicious!
First of all, let me tell you the various dishes prepared.
First we took the Bhonda soup which was yum and we could put as many Bhondas in our soup as we wanted.
Then in the starters section, we had masala vada, those tiny and cute vegetable szechuan samosa, tart which mango salsa which was my favorite, tandoori paneer tikka and vegetable cheese balls. Though all were made with minimal oil, it tasted delicious!
Also there was the coleslaw pasta salad, green salad, boondhi raita, kachori chaat, kosambari and dahi vada. I managed to eat only pasta salad, kachori chaat and dahi vada all of which tasted great!
I also happened to meet a chef in 2 live counters he managed. One counter was my favurite!! Pancake with whipped cream!! Oh my god. So good! Loved the taste! There was also a Sundae ice cream counter where you could choose your favorite flavors and the toppings of your choice.
Coming to the main course, there was Paneer Jhalfrezi, Hariyali Vegetable, Bhurwan Bhaigan, Dum aloo Kashmiri, Dal Fry, Tandoori veg dum biriyani, Ghee rice, iddiyapam, Soya stirred fried noodles, Pasta with tomato basil sauce, paneer puff, Tomato rasam with steamed rice, curd rice, tandoori roti and butter pudhina naan. I could eat only half on this menu.
I had desserts in the end. I had the assorted fresh fruits which consisted of watermelon, muskmelon and papaya, sponge cake cubs, sugar free sweet, assorted tart, assorted pastries, assorted mousse, channar puli, indian sweet, sujji halwa and sabhudaana payasam.
Every dish I mentioned above were so delicious and I'd love to visit this place again!
Never knew sattvic food could taste this good. Completely enjoyed the lunch buffet. I don't think there was any dish which I could call a disappointment.
Came to attend a friends marriage at iskon temple. Wished my friend the best for his married life. Had a meal here, it was good. After which I left back home.
It was my parents anniversary and I had been here with my family n couple of mom's friends. One of her friends was fasting and would have food with no onion and garlic. Instantly I was reminded of this place which I have visited twice earlier and loved on both occasions.
And we were third time lucky as well :) We went with à la carte this time instead of the buffet. We ordered tawa aloo tikki, Chaat papdi and mango rasgulla Chaat in starters. Aloo tikkis were awesome with peas filling and green n sweet chutneys. The quantity was also very good. Chaat papdi was delicious as well. The mango rasgulla chaat though didn't quite appeal to our taste buds which is a personal thing. Many people actually recommend it. No issues on quality front. It's top notch.
Then came the main course of yellow dal, mix veg makhani, curd rice, naan, rotis n papads. The dal was simple yet very delicious n comforting. So was the sabzi and rotis too were hot n well prepared. Curd rice was of thicker consistency than my liking but taste was good nevertheless. So overall very satisfied with the main course.
Last but not the least we ordered their paan ice cream which is a must have dessert at this place. It's their original and I haven't eaten it anywhere else. Its just too good. My mom's friends went gung-ho about the place and said they would soon visit again with their families.
Not to say, we went back with happy memories and a delightful experience😍. Thank you 'The Higher Taste' team!!
Visited this setup today! It’s wasn’t very crowded. Had the standard buffet, they make wonderful food without onion and garlic.
One can surely try and experiment, somehow you can eat only as much as your tummy allows...so un-limited does not help much.
They have a huge spread, so choose wisely and eat .
Staff is helpful and so was the manager.
I never knew Indian cuisine could taste so good without onion and garlic. We ordered Tandoori Wale Aloo Makka, Hariyali Kulcha, Kerala Paratha, Paneer Makhandaar, Sangam and Dry Fruit Tehri Rice. Everything was cooked to perfection. Affordable price and elegant service.
One of the best experience i had😊 as per Jain food which is hard to find,it is the best place to have with lot of varieties in buffet and alacata .
The place is almost always crowded and one has to wait... that jus goes to show that the restaurant is popular 👍👍👍
We've always had their buffet and it's always been good 👌👍👍👍👌👌
We have been regulars since 2013...
They had a live Paratha counter and it was delicious..
It’s a nice restaurant for vegetarians and sattvic food eaters. Located in the Isckon temple and created on sattvic eating philosophy. Taste is above average, ambience is average and service is above average too. Overall, it’s a good place for vegetarians.
Totally happy. Serves awesome Jain food..
Very hygiene n food quality is very good..
Staff is friendly happy with service..
Overall good experience.
Will surely visit again
Amazing food and taste. Had daal bukhara, nand gaon ki sabji, laccha parantha, tandoori roti, hariyali naan and soup. Everything was awesome. However, paan ice cream is must try. Ambience was nice, staff was professional.
I ve been here twice for their buffet lunch, each time after visiting the ISKCON temple. The ambience, food and service is very good. The best part about the buffet is the starter section. You are likely to overload yourself here.

A satvic hotel situated within ISKCON premises. Located behind the temple and difficult to find parking on holidays due to temple crowd. Buffet is good with a wide spread and priced Rs 825/-. Starters, Vegetable curries and dessert is good. Only tandoori and makki rotti were served. Broccoli biriyani was average. Roti and rice items can be improved. Located in a central place near Mahalakshmi metro station. Good for family outings.
Satwik food aplenty, buffet style. Located inside the ISCON temple complex, a great place to have a relaxed sit-down lunch after darshan. Priced above what's typical, the place is not too crowded, and all food items are fresh and tasty. Food trays are frequently replenished, and wait staff is polite and attentive.
A buffet style restaurant serving delicious satvic food. Lots of variety, ranging from Indian (south and north) to continental. The desserts are to die for. However, the place is usually crowded and there's a 15-30 min waiting time. But the food is worth the wait!
The atmosphere of this place is just so right with a pleasant music.
The starters genuinely kick starts your appetite. The buffet has a wide range: continental, street touch serving paani puri, pav bhaji, North Indian, South Indian and lots more.
Although We travelled almost 15 kms to relish this place but you can beat the traffic by commuting in metro which is easily accessible from almost every part of the city.
The best part is you anyway get to see Krishna☺️🙏🏼
Recently, my team and I dined at the Higher Taste Restaurant at ISKCON. The satvik buffet was not only healthy but also delicious, offering a fantastic international dining experience. Special thanks to Naveen, the manager, and the other staff members for their amazing service, making us feel like we were in a top-class restaurant.
The whole atmosphere, along with the fine dining setup, was impressive. The Higher Taste Restaurant certainly went above and beyond our expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional global dining experience with a satvik touch
So Good food, it's very rare to see so many good vegetarian options in a buffet. Enjoyed a lot.
A few items were just average but some are so good. Overall COSTLY though, ₹725 weekdays dinner. 4.5 stars out of 5.
This restaurant is located inside the temple premises, so one may find difficulty in navigation for the first time.
Fantastic food and very friendly people. desserts and starters were classy. The food was a Sumptuous treat and the variety was awesome !! Must visit after the darshan!
Very good experience. Tasty food. Very clean. Staff are very helpful and polite. Online reservation. You can reserve on Google. That was a surprise. On the whole a great place for vegetarians.
This is one of the unique restaurant I have found in Bangalore.
It's pure veg as well as NO GARLIC AND ONION food which is really good for the pure satvik people.
The food was really good.
The ambience was also great there.
Service was quite decent but staff is busy with larger people tables and ignores the less number of people tables.
Basically it's not a Jain restaurant because they have potatoes in curry but it's a best place for no onion and garlic people.
Location: Backside of the ISCKON temple(when you come for exit to collect your shoes/sleeper) in between road you can go straight and then right)

We had an amazing buffet here. Every single one of the dishes were tasty except a rare few that did not do well for me; the fried chillies and boondi raita. The drink was excellent and Pudina paneer malai was mind blowing. The desserts were way too many. If Lauki halwa is on the menu, don't forget to give it a try; the warm halwa melts right in the mouth. We tried to eat all of the dishes, but it was a little difficult. Excellent experience, highly recommended if you like this kind of food or if you like to experiment.
A good place for lunch and dinner .
Price is a bit more.
Really enjoyed dinner here.
Food quality is Excellent , but some food is not upto that much.
Pure vegetarian and sattvic food.
Atmosphere is very good.
Place is very peaceful.
It is situated inside the ISKCON TEMPLE premises, i.e. Hare Krishna Hill.
The Higher Taste restaurant is located in the premises of Iskon temple and it's a pure vegetarian restaurant.....It is a Prime restaurant with exclusive ambience and is also very expensive.... But felt buffet cost was moderate.... Since it's a prime hotel the level of food taste and presentation is very impressive..... Wait time for food to be served is almost 20mins.... Didn't find huge crowd and was very peaceful....
The food is great without onion and garlic as the restaurant located inside the temple premises. The ambience is okay and you can also hear hari naam and krishna music during your visit.
An amazing Saattvic restaurant by ISKCON, Bangalore. High end fine dine restaurant. Their buffet is super awesome. Completely vegetarian and Saattvic food - no onion, no garlic. Amazing desserts - excellent pastries and cakes that are eggless along with several Indian sweets and Ice cream.
Great place to have lunch with family before or after visiting ISKCON for Darshan. Sufficient car parking & bike parking space is there.
Very well maintained restaurant with amazing prompt service. Good seating place for varied size families (nuclear or joint).
Buffet price slightly on the higher end but worth it.
When visiting iskon never ever miss out on dining at high taste restaurant. Excellent veg food. Very tasty. Large spread . Go very hungry to taste the spread of soups, starters, main course & desserts. Mouth watering. Vouch to go more often. 👍👌👏
