This restaurant has been on my mind for years. I never managed to find it for some reason. Yesterday, while riding through Indranagar, I saw the signboard and couldn't believe my luck.
The restaurant is above a Yokohama showroom on Double Road in Indira Nagar II Stage. The seating area does not have windows, which allows fresh air to come in. Crucial in the current situation.
There was only one couple there when I arrived around 3 PM. The waiter brought me a QR code to scan for the menu, but I had no idea how to use it, so he gave me the menu.
Apart from nachos, burritos, tacos, and churros, I'm not familiar with Mexican dishes. I had to look up some of the names on Google before deciding what I want.
I've always wanted to try churros, so I asked for that first. They mention on the menu that it takes 15 minutes to prepare. Considering it was way past lunchtime, I settled on trying their Pan-seared Fish tacos.
The food arrived quite fast and looked delicious. Tacos are like egg puffs - not suitable for fine dining. You end up making a mess usually. I tried tilting my head to the side before biting to ensure the least amount of spillage. It was flavorful and tasty. Although it was just two tacos, I was full after the first one. They use two soft tortillas for each taco, which makes it more filling. The pieces of fish were juicy and succulent, but I could not make out what fish it was.
The churros appeared, and I was excited to try them. They tasted crunchy and complemented the thick chocolate served as a dipping. I know it should be the other way around, but the chocolate sauce was the star of this dish. It took a while to munch down all the churros. To compare, I'd say they taste a bit like softened Indian "murukku" sprinkled with sugar.
I would definitely recommend the restaurant to small groups and couples who want to try something "bueno."
The bill came to Rs. 687, including the service charge and GST.

Rating : 4.5 to 5
Small and good managed place to eat a best Mexican food at Bangalore, it has been better or even i can best, when compared to most of the restaurants eaten at Bangalore.
The service is little slow, as every thing is good and fresh to eat, meat is tender and even the place is completely COVID 19 safe to dine and enjoy the same.
The food concepts are straight and very good enjoy the same. Not much marketing is done with this place, as i have noticed, only marketing is its listing in the food apps, and rating has been good to enjoy.
If they can make the Churro’s better comparable in size, it would be better.
Best Mexican food in the city for sure!!! Very casual vibe and quesadillas that are best eaten at the restaurant shouldn’t be missed
Another amazing place to get authentic Mexican food in Bangalore.
Started with their nachos, loved it.
The tacos were also pretty good , I didn’t quite like the enchilada.
The ambiance was great. Loved the whole vibe of the place.
Would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves mexican food 💯
Best mexican food in Bangalore. Specially the quesadillas are AMAZING!!!! Highly highly recommend, Chef Candice slaying!!!
Chinita has Bangalore’s best Mexican food, hands down. I’ve been here a minimum of 10 times and I’ve never been disappointed. The churros hold a special place in my heart. They’re one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. They’re always freshly made, served warm and taste delicious. And of course, I can’t forget the rice bowls-absolutely delectable. Chinita Real Mexican Food
The Zucchini corn burrito bowl was so good, so spicy, so wholesome. Guacamole was on point also! Loved the flavors.
I went to this place on October 2019, It have a nice ambience with amazing mexican food.
Five years and this place continues to be terrific.
Lovely food, what stands out the very courteous staff -always willing to go the extra mile to ensure you have a lovely experience.
Do not miss the nachos here!
A Good place for some real good Mexican food. Do try the quasedillas. The tortillas are good too. The ambience is alright for casual dining.
Customer service is specifically amazing. The grilled beef tacos are my favourite. The beef can be cooked better but the flavour covers it up because the combination of the crunch, cheese and the meat is perfect together and the tomato definitely adds the tanginess!
Chinita is a restaurant with an authentic Mexican cuisine. They have no fusion food. They have less options on their menu, but their food is actually pretty good. The quantity is good and their ingredients are fresh. I love their flan the most. The service is excellent as well
Great food and warm service. For those with children, they have good high chair. Ordered tacos, tostada's and quesadillas. Was yumm
Staff are attentive and v helpful. The chocolate chili cake is awesome
Chinita is a pretty much a go-to restaurant for us. Must have been here over dozens of times over the last few years. After last week’s dinner – I realized I haven’t reviewed the Indiranage one yet.
Well, having said that – now you know that this place is one of my all-time favorites. Best thing – they have a bunch of vegan options with cashew cheese!
Their staff is very kind, very polite and attentive. Ambiance is super chilled out, nothing too fancy, but pleasant 😊
Tried several things off this menu over my multiple visits – everything (except one) has always been great.
1. Chinita salad – veg
2. Burrito Bowl – Mushroom (one of my absolute favorites)
3. Grilled tacos – chicken (friends love it)
4. Tacos – Carnitas (Pork) (friends love it)
5. Fresh Lime
7. Tortilla Chips with salsa and guacamole
8. Grilled Tacos – Mushroom (another one of my out and out favorites)
9. Bean and Cheese Tostada – (Mindblowing)
10. Almond Horchata (was average – not brilliant)
11. Enchilada – Mushroom and Spinach (Disappointing)
12. Tofu Mole (not bad)
13. Mexican Spiced Hot Chocolate (heavenly)
14. Churros (supremely yummy)
Always a pleasant experience coming here 😊
The food gives you actual feel of Mexico. Also the music and ambience is very nice.
Do try Nachos and churros.
Great job and good job by Pankaj
The food is excellent. One of the few good mexican places in town. The taste plays perfectly with the taste buds. Their grilled tacos - both veg and non veg are filling and tasty. Same with the enchiladas , quesadillas and nachos. Their mocktails are also good. The ambience is raw yet cosy, and staff is very friendly. Apparently the owner stayed in Mexico to perfect the recipe and taste - seemed to have worked out perfectly!
Visited this place for lunch with my office colleagues. The place wasn't too crowded when we got there so that's a plus. We found a table we liked quickly. The ambience is decent, could be better. Coming to the food, we ordered mushroom Nachos, Tacos with beans and mushroom and caramelized onions, Burrito, and some drinks. The food was really good! The salsa and and the peanut dips were amazing, as was the guacamole. But the star of the show has to be Churros. I've had Churros at quite a places and liked some. But their preparation outdid everything I'd tasted earlier. The Churros were crisp from outside, soft inside, coated in sugar and drizzled with cinnamon. And they're served with chocolate dip! Best preparation I've had. I'd give it 5 starts but the ambience was slightly not upto what I expected. Nevertheless, the food and service and staff is brilliant. Definitely recommend! Would visit again soon and stuff myself with Churros 😃
I always wanted to try guacamole and the corn on cob, by seeing so many pictures on social platforms but didn't quite find a good place and I must this place wont disappoint you a bit
Great a ambience. Love the Spanish music. Perfect date night kinda vibe. Really love the chips and guacamole.. plus the burrito bowls. Dessert - the flan is delicious
Having been there quite a few times, the food is excellent, service is very good and staff are very friendly. One of the best places to have mexican food. Definitely a must try place
By far the best Mexican place in Bangalore! if you are a person who craves Mexican food - this place will is a paradise for you.
Grilled tacos are a unique creation and you can request two have two different once in one plate.
Tamarind Margarita is a must-try, on the tangy side but delicious.
Loved the vibe of the place! It is a small set up perfect for cozy rainy nights. We ordered Cafe con Leche, Nachos with their special spicy green chilli side, Grilled corn and sauteed green peppers and onion burrito bowl. Loved all of it and the grilled corn deserves a special mention. Definitely a must visit!
A little bit of Mexico in India.
I love the pork tacos and can eat them every single time. The corn cob with cheese is heaven! Churros and chocolate sauce can improve by making sauce fresh!
Best Mexican food in Indiranagar. The staff are really polite and helpful, and the ambience is cozy and comforting. Be warned there may be no parking though.
Well, heard about this Mexican place from a friend of mine.
This little place is a gem. Nice location and easy to find.
This restaurant serves only Mexican food, and good Mexican food.
Loved the ambience of this place and so the service. Quick service and very responsive.
Tried out their, Beef grilled Taco's and Grilled Chicken Taco's.
Grilled chicken tacos was good, but grilled beef taco was something amazing, I just loved it. So juicy and creamy, and the beef was very well cooked.
We ordered a drink made out of Tamarind, oh I tell you , it's very sour (obviously, Tamarind). I couldn't finish it. 😅
Prices are very much reasonable.
Overall experience was really good and a decent place to have Mexican food.

Best Mexican food in town! 😍 Humble and bubbly staff. It has become part of our office on-boarding ritual for new hires to take them to Chinitas for team lunch.
It's the perfect place to unwind and feel at home over a quick lunch break.
Don't forget to try the Chocolate Chilly cake. Wait for the after taste... 😋
perhaps one of the few remaining restaurants in BLR which keeps bringing you back for more- the best food and staff- a big shout to Pankaj who is as great and as consistent as their guacamole :)
Considering it's one of the only Mexican restaurants in Bangalore, it would easy to say it's one of the best Mexican restaurants in the city. But it's actually one of the best restaurants in the city, irrespective!
The place is basic and simple and the menu follows suit.
If you're looking to step out of the traditional flavour palette, it's a pretty safe bet to start here.
Regardless, first timers or regulars, it's always a recommendation.
PS- Soon as you walk in if there's no tables/seats available, check with the host. There's another room with fewer tables but quite inconspicuous.
Absolutely brilliant food. Have tried their Grilled tacos - Prawn & roast pork. Burritos, Tostada on many occasions. Nothing was short of top notch quality.
Decent place on top of a garage. Ambience is all wooden and lively. Light Mexican music in the background. Food is great. Tried the tosatadas, the enchilada and the hot chocolate.
4 star because the whole area is split in two and inside, ambience is wierd.
The ambiance is simple with both indoor and outdoor seating and wooden decor. The service was good, the staff was attentive and were well versed with the items on the menu.
For drinks, we had almond mochata and the special drink of the day - tamarind. For appetizers we had tortilla chips and guacamole - the guacamole is a must try.
For mains we had grilled tacos - one zucchini and corn and another with grilled chicken. It was too oily for my liking. On the other hand the soft tacos were great. We had one of roasted zucchini and corn, which is definitely worth trying. We ended the meal with chocolate chilli cake and ice cream.
The only problem is that the place does not have reservations but it was definitely worth the 20 min wait.
Great place for Mexican food serving the whole gamut of tacos, tostados, burritos and burrito bowls before rounding off the desserts with churos.
We tried quesadillas, burrito bowls in pork and beef, beef tacos and churos. All of them were quite tasty and had an authentic feel.
Prompt service by the waiting staff. Good recommendations from the owner. Overall, a great experience.
Food was decent. Tried a number of dishes. The quality was good. Best thing about the restaurant was its service. The service was quick and responsive. Can try.
Great service and excellent food. The corn. The horchata and two kinds of veg tacos. Wow.
But not 5 stars. Why?
1. They need to change their cheese vendor. He’s either a liar or a bad cheese maker. Cause what they are calling cheddar tastes like bad processed Amul cheese out of a can.
Also the bad cheese was nearly overtaking the rest of the excellent flavours. cause they put too much of the cheese in there.
2. Uncomfortable seating.
Fix the above and I’d give 8 stars not just 5 🤣
This place deserves a 5 Star for the super delicious food. It's an old building cleverly converted and decorated, the ambience is decent and simple, the food is absolutely delicious, I have tried the burrito bowl, Chianti salad both turned out to be super good. Service was prompt, do visit for some good Mexican food.
Ambience - 3/5
Food - 5/5
Service - 4/5
We wanted to celebrate a birthday and were looking for a cool chilled out place with good good. This is exactly that. The place has welcoming staff and good Mexican music. We ordered fresh lime soda and virgin margarita in beverages to go with our chicken quesadillas and corn zucchini tacos. The food was very tasty and the place very welcoming. Would definitely come again for a quiet dinner...
Aishwarya Gopalakrishnan and I celebrated our two year anniversary here. I love the place, the food and the ambience. The perfect outdoor setting welcomed us with great salsa music. They offered flavored water and the food with the value of money was super apt.
It was worth all the money spent with extremely quick service, polite employees and the coziness of the place.
A small place in Indiranagar on the first floor comes with a not so great ambience. They tried to accommodate other people in another small space which actually was not so great. I personally did not like the ambience and the cleanliness of the room where we were seated. The interiors were bad was what I felt.
This place deserves the rating because of the food and the service. The staff were very very helpful, not interfering at all.
We had the soup on my friend's recommendation. Roasted Red pepper Soup -
Taste - 4.5/5 - Very different with sour cream and tortilla chips.
We had a 1/2. Either the quantity or the size of the boul was an upset.
Enchiladas - Zucchini and corn
They were good with a lot of tomato sauce and the roasted zucchini was delicious. The corn and the zucchini were well cooked and the dish was baked to perfection if not for the cheese which was not uniformly distributed.
Burrito bowl - A good quality rice would have made it a 5/5 dish, but the overloaded veggies and tasty mushrooms made up for the poor quality rice.
Overall a decent experience.
Not so heavy on the pocket as we had dineout Pay.
Do follow me on Zomato for more reviews in Bangalore/ Mumbai
During my stay in USA, I have developed the taste of Mexican cuisine which is very close to Indian food in terms of uses of spices & ingredients in the food. Specially I love the combination of Black Beans, Salsa & Sour Cream along with Guacamole. Just WoW!!! Also it's very light and healthy cuisine. My first encounter with Mexican food in India was at California Burrito but what a pathetic experience that was!!! So When I heard about Chinita - Real Mexican Food, immediately I have decided to give a try and I must admit, I just loved it. There may be few areas they can still improve but surely deserve 5 Star. The place was comparatively small wrt their popularity. So please expect 15-30 min waiting time even if you reserve the seat. Also service was little slow but I am fine with that when I get to taste some yummy food.
I love this place for their food and outdoor seating. Must try - corn in starters, mushroom tacos, and churros are mind blowing! I also tried their veg nachos with gaucomole on the side. Quite filling!
We visited Chinita for Taco Tuesday and had a fantastic time. The options are numerous and I must say we tried to utilise it to the best of our capabilities, keeping in mind they offered unlimited tacos. The fish tacos were a pleasant surprise. The prawn tacos were delicious too. Of course, beef and pork cannot be missed. Special mention for the Watermelon Agua Fresca and Horchata, they were the best accompaniments to the heat and for all the meats in the tacos. The churros were average, the chocolate dip could have been so much better.
The servers were pleasant and happy to strike a conversation and prompt with their service too :)
One thing I would like to point out though is they have an issue with the billing in terms of their GST calculations. It would be great if the management could sort that out, as the servers have to bear the brunt of the miscalculations and are not in the position to solve it immediately.
Would absolutely recommend this place to one and all.
A great place to have a authentic Mexican food.
The ambiance is decent while there service is pretty good.
The grilled tacos should be tried , grilled chicken was good too
The burrito bowls had good spices and we're delicious.
To end it with a dessert, we had churros and its a must try.
Best Mexican food in Bangalore. I have tried other places but this one tops the list for Mexican food. Quesadillas were great. As I said earlier, best Mexican food in Bangalore!
If you’re a sucker for good Mexican food, then this is the place to go! It's a cute little place in Indiranagar that serves amazing burritos, tacos and more! The staff is courteous and very professional. Loved it!
The best Mexican food I have had so far. The corn on the cob and churros are a must have. Totally yummy!! The tacos are delicious too. I had the mushroom one. The spinach and caramelised onion burrito could have been a tad better. Can wait to visit again !!👍🏻👍🏻
We have been regular visitors to Chinita and two things that have always stood out -
1. The level of attention from all the service staff.
2. The quality of the food
This evening, we re-visited Chinita after a gap of more than a year and the staff remembered us and took special effort to accommodate our 1 year old child. Special mention to Pankaj, our server, for going the extra mile.
Recommend the Tostados (Roasted cauliflower) and the Chocolate Chilli Cake.
Great place for a quick and filling bite. Tried two of their burritos, which were made well, would love to go back again for more. Very minimal yet decent ambiance, and helpful service staff.
Nice place where you get genuine Mexican food. The food is just perfect. Good service by Pankaj.
You can start with nachos. Main course can either be grilled tacos or a egg burrito.
Craving some Mexican .. here is a prefect place!
Cute little place in indranagar!
The place is in itself feels like a little Mexico with all the music and decor!
Loved the food..
Being a Mexican food aficionado and all things Spanish, Chinita has been my cure for authentic Mexicano cuisine. My best and I frequent this place every now and then. They are located just opposite the infamous Cafe Terra and the adjacent building to the RTO in Indiranagar. Before I get to the food, however, I think it's important to metion that finding a parking space is an absolute nuisance. Most times we end up parking inside of the RTO but that is quite inconvenient and unsafe. Valet parking would be a plus if they can accommodate.
Now for the best part: The food! :)
The dishes I will mention and the photos enclosed are my usual. I literally cannot get enough of it. There are times that I've struggled to walk out of the place being so belly-full. Ha ha. I would give them all a five star so just making a mention without individual ratings. Here goes:
Beverages:
1) Almond Horcata - This is a traditional drink back in Mexico comprised of almond-rice milk. A must-try!
2) Iced Cafe Con Leche - meaning "Coffee with Milk". The condensed milk and coffee go deliciously together
Appetizers:
1) Carnitas Pork Nachos - have a soft corner for these with lip smacking generous chunks of tender pork to make life better :)
Mains:
1) Grilled Tacos - Grilled Chicken - Grilled-to-crisp corn tortillas stuffed with juicy grilled chicken and cheese served with pico de gallo. The onion-tomato mix, however, makes the tortilla very soggy and ruins the overall flavour, so I would definitely recommend asking them not to add it in (will save your tacos and you)
Dessert:
1) Churros with chocolate sauce - Churros are my favourite dessert (although now I prefer them stuffed) but agree that the flavour and texture almost, just almost taste like the original
2) Chocolate Chili cake - this one is a surprise in the mouth with sweet chocolate pudding on the outside and the subtle taste of chili in every bite.
Overall it's always been a joyful experience at Chinita especially since I get to groove to the Spanish music playing here all day long. Brownie points for that!
What they could improve on is the service time and the parking bit as mentioned earlier. Besides this the 5 star rating speaks for itself.
Chinita has extremely good Mexican food. It was recommended to us by my foodie cousin and we go there every once in a while. I love the food there but I forget to take pictures every time and so I haven't written a review for the place yet and this time is no different, although I'm writing a review ;).
My latest visit here was just for their mouth watering desserts. We ordered churros and chocolate chilly cake. Must try if you love dessert but not the overly sweet ones.
Special mention for their "regular water". Feel very refreshed with the minty orangy water they serve on the table.
I'm hoping to write a detailed review soon with some main course and starters soon, fingers crossed ;)
Went to Chinita for dinner last night with friends. Don't be deceived by the location of this place. This is by far one of the best Mexican places in town. We were five of us and thought of trying variety in both veg and non-veg options. Every dish was awesome and delectable. We tried soyrizo, grilled chicken and pan smeared fish burrito bowls, mushroom spinach enchiladas, crispy chicken tacos, zucchini and corn crispy tacos. The food was so great that we almost licked the dishes clean. Even after eating so much, we didn't feel that the food that we ate was heavy.
They could do better on mocktails though, but overall it is a must try place!
Great food and ambience. We are a big fan of Grilled Prawn Tacos here. They are very good.
Big shout out to the team here - pankaj and his team. They are quick, efficient and take good care of their customer.
Almost every dish ordered here is good. Thanks for the food
This is my go to place for some authentic Mexican flavours. Simple interiors with some lovely Mexican music playing in the background.
And the food here is delicious, one visit is never enough:
Grilled corn- this street food from Mexico is the perfect starter.
Nachos- with sumptuous topping of beans.
Horchata- a must try drink made of rice and almond. May not be everyone’s cup of tea since it is generally an acquired taste, but worth a sip. I really liked it.
The staff was very helpful. I was confused about ordering Horchata but they offered a sample of the drink to help decide.
Rush to this place to savour the Mexican delicacies.
I have been a regular to this place last 3 years and totally love it for the food and ambience..it's a small place but food is beyond par..love there Nachos..love there rice bowl, flan and Churros..must admit one of the finest crews who ensure you have the best dining experience..Thanks to all
Great place! Customer Service is just awesome. Waiters are friendly (Specially Pankaj).
I love Mexican food and this restuarant now one of my favourites, food is just amazing. I can go all the time.😀
Recently visited the place for the second time. The place has pretty chill vibe to it. Food is good and the prices are decent. Plus point is they serve the blue tokai coffee which I really wanted to try.
Absolute best for Mexican in the country! Every single time they’ve nailed the food . Great service and friendly staff. The decor is absolutely adorable too. A must visit!
This is probably the best place for Mexican food. I am regular to this place n I am always delighted with their food n customer service. I am a big fan of their Nachos, Burrito bowl. the Churros n flan is out of the world, Everytime I go there, I have these..I went there last week with my wife n we both were extremely happy with the taste n customer service. Must visit place in Bangalore for Mexican food lovers.
Finally a proper and authentic Mexican restaurant in Bangalore. We went for TACO Tuesday and were not disappointed. The grilled tacos here are the highlight dish. Service is good. They can improve on the ambience and setup. Food is awesome.
It's ambiance is very cool.i had been ordered grilled tasco (fish and fronce).
MAINS:(grilled chicken and masroom)
The service was aspselute superb.its a nice place to have food and drinks . staff are nice and respond immediately it's a chill out place And can have a good time with friends and family.
To start with the ambiance is average. From outside place doesn't look like a restaurant. But the food they have is authentic Mexican. We ordered veg nachos which were amazingly delicious. Then we ordered virgin Margarita, Tamarindo Margarita and Blue takoi coffee as the drinks. And I must say all 3 of them were really tasty. My friend became fan of the Blue takoi coffee. Then we ordered grilled taco with mushrooms and it was delicious again. Also we ordered Burrito bowl with roasted quali flower and chickpeas. The burrito bowl was good but not great.
And finally we ordered chilly chocolate cake with ice cream which was something very different and uniquely tasty.
To sum up it was a nice Mexican dinner, although we felt that the place is a bit more costlier.
This has been on my to-do list for a long time. Went towards the closing time and it was not crowded. Had two types of tacos and drank a Mexican horchata. The drink had a very different, but refreshing taste. The staff were very friendly and guided us in choosing our dishes..loved the ambience as well!
One of the best Mexican Cuisine in Bangalore. The staff helps you out with the menu and what you might like. I ordered Crispy Chicken Tacos, quesadillas, Nachos and Churros. Nachos would need a lil bit more inporvement to compete with other mexican outlets except that everyrthing was just amazing.Had a great time. :)
We happened to discover this place accidentally, as it is situated near to another restaurant that we were planning to visit. It's a cute little place to visit- the crowd wasn't much on a Sunday afternoon. Most of the dishes that we ordered were really nice. The wait staff were really polite and attentive. And as a bonus, it has a separate vegan menu! I'm definitely going back to this place again.
It was a really good place. The food and drinks are really authentic to the Mexican cuisine.
Would recommend to everyone to visit it or order from it for a change of taste.
The guacamole was awesome and they used corn flour tacos that are natively used.
I recently tried the Green Peppers & Onions Enchiladas at Chinita Real Mexican Food, and they were a delight! Stuffed with corn tortillas and baked in tomato salsa, they were super yummy. To complement the meal, I also had the Almond Horchata, a traditional Mexican almond rice beverage, and it was the best Mexican food experience I've had.
The flavors were authentic and satisfying. The restaurant's ambiance with classic park seats added to the overall charm. Each bite felt like a journey into genuine Mexican cuisine, and the almond horchata was a refreshing twist. The combination of the enchiladas and horchata created a memorable dining experience. If you're a fan of delicious Mexican food in a relaxed setting, Chinita Real Mexican Food is a must try. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to savor the true essence of Mexican flavors in a welcoming atmosphere.
My cousin and I enjoyed an afternoon lunch there. On a Sunday, we experienced a 15-minute wait, but it was worth it. Staffs are courteous. Trying Mexican cuisine for the first time, we were delighted by the delicious and flavorful food, each bite felt like it was cooked with passion.
For our meal, we ordered Nachos (generous quantity for the price) and Tacos with Zucchini & Corn. In the drinks department, we tried the Almond horchata and spiced hot chocolate. We concluded our dining experience with Churros and a delectable chocolate dip.
If you have even a slight interest in trying Mexican food, this place is a must-visit.
Regarding the ambiance, there's room for improvement. The chairs are hard and uncomfortable, and the lack of air conditioning might be a drawback. Parking can be challenging; we recommend using Uber or Ola, though street-side parking is available.
For two people, the bill came for ₹1400/-
Awesome Mexican food. The restaurant was opened 10 years ago. We ordered Grilled tacos and enchiladas. Both are very tasty. Very friendly service. I felt the ambience is outdated and needs improvement to match with current trends. Otherwise, a great place to dine in.
We didn't have a seat in the front portion of the restaurant so we were accommodated at the back. It's a room with no windows and lacks any sort of ambience. One thing to call out was they had vegan options in the menu, that was impressive. We started with their seafood nachos, good and is of a shareable portion. We ordered their taco and burrito bowl and churros. Didn't enjoy the chicken tinga taco. But definitely would recommend their beef burrito bowl. Also got a glass of almond horchata, lets say it's not for everyone. It tastes more like watered down soy milk. We completed the meal with churros only to get disappointed with the portion. For the price we paid churros definitely made me cry, not worth the money.
Chill ambience and the service was good
Waiters were polite and responded respectfully
They had chill Mexican music playing in the background
I got the soyrizo burrito bowl and it was top notch, loved how mushy and flavourful the beans were
The portion size was more than sufficient, the pricing might seem more. But I feel the huge portion size compensates for that.
Although I would've appreciated if the rice was a bit more steamed. It wasn't noticably bad, just felt a little - very little - bit undercooked
Overall, would recommend for great Mexican food
I'd love to try out all the items they've got to offer, next time
Excellent Mexican food with lots of vegetarian options. Churros were great. tacos (sauteed green pepper and onions, spinach and onions) were light and great. burrito bowl (we had soyriza), was very good, filling and flavorful. Enchiladas were okay..
A Mexican restaurant where the flavors are bold and authentic, and every bite bursts with freshness. From savoring their mouthwatering tacos to indulging in their nachos with heavenly guacamole, Chinita exceeded all my expectations.
The space is quite unassuming and basic, but the food is worth trying! Be warned, the portion sizes are large (hey Chinita, please keep it this way!)
Follow @thatgoangirl for more food reccos.
I should say it was as authentic as it can get. Loved the flavours. I took the Jackfruit burrito bowl and it was filling (bit spicy). I took a side order of guacamole to simmer it down.
I would certainly recommend this place.
Street parking is available around.
Amazing and delicious food. Budhiman has assisted us very professionally and the suggested menu was delicious. The ambiance is nice. You can get space to park below. Very neat and clean. And service was also really quick. Do you visit the place if you want to Mexican food anytime in Bangalore.
Loved the food. It was our second visit here, but the food never disappoints. Only that the plates are chipped, as an F&B Professional ticks me off at time, but other than that the Ambience and Service is really nice. Biky and staff are really prompt as well.
This place has to be in everyone’s list. The large open space, benches, big glass side windows are adding an extra charm. Coming to food, with very first bite you will be roaming around the Mexican lanes. Its so soo authentic and yummy. I will be honest, the drinks were not that impressive. It was rather average. Tacos churros burritos are awesome to try.
We have been to the Koramangala one before... This is the first time to this one.. It's a very small outlet.. Hardly 7-8 tables. We ordered chips and guac to start with... The content of guacamole is extremely small... Hardly two table spoons! Taste was good though.. They should seriously rethink their portion of guacamole!
Ordered a chicken tinga burrito bowl, taste was ok.. The prawns grilled taco was tasty and spicy. Certainly churros were the highlight.. Crispy and tasty!
Such a cute place. Indian version of a cantina and the food is pretty close to authentic. They got the guacamole pretty spot on and the chips were real tortilla chips, not like what I usually get in Indian restaurants. I had the chicken tacos which were really tasty. The chicken was cooked well and very flavorful. All the toppings were great and it came with pickled jalapenos, which was great. I also had the Mexican rice which wasn't bad. I wanted to try the frijoles but they weren't refried, just whole beans so I passed on that. They don't have a liquor license so the margaritas are virgin, but still pretty tasty. Not a bad price for appetizers, drinks and meals.
This is one of my favourite places in Bangalore to dine in. Their entire menu is just top notch. They have really friendly staff and amazing service too. Grilled tacos are generally better than soft tacos and their churros are a must try.
Many drinks at this place have some cinnamon added to it and it makes the drink so much better.
