Excellent vegetarian dishes on a wintry evening .. Starters to Mains ..
Went on team lunch , Quit place with beautiful well lit ambience.
The Staff served well , the food was tasty but the spread could have been better .
Being a person with sweet tooth was expecting good desserts.
But good deal in the reasonable budget .

A fine dine restaurant which is perfect for family dinner.
We ordered Chilli Basil Mushroom and Manchow Soup. Both tasted awesome but i felt the basil flavour was less but otherwise both were good.
Bhanno Kebab was also good and i felt it was alike to Chicken Tikka filled with palak and methi.
For main course we ordered Prawn Ghee Roast and Mutton Rogan Josh with Kulcha.
These main course were just brilliant in their taste.
Fir dessert we had Kulfi and Gulab Jamun which was excellent.
Overall and awesome experience
Went this place on a weekend with my family. Such a nice calm place to have your food. Lemon coriander soup was really yummy. Chicken manchurian was also tasty. Only mutton dishes was not up to the mark. Don’t forget to try kulfi here in your dessert. Ambiance was so attractive. This place is bit expensive but worth the price. They also serves alcohol. Overall it was a nice experience.

It was amazing experience visiting this place. We had our lunch here. With the fabulous food quality & taste , it is really worth appreciating. The staff was friendly too.
Chicken Banjara style was awesome. Grill items like Chicken angarey & Tandoori prawns tastes heavenly.. Definitely a must visit place..
I just love this place just for grilled chicken. This place is really good for lunch at dinner.
All of us enjoyed this place with variety of foods available with tasty food
The best North Indian food I've had in a long time. You could literally taste the quality in the food. The paneer was perfect and we ordered the banjara special as the curry. It was different and good. Special mention to the bell pepper soup. It was the best part of the meal. The place is clean and hygienic. However, it does burn a hole in your pocket.
Awesome food , great ambience. Ordered kukkad tandoori ( starter ) , meat was cooked to perfection and was very flavourful. It was accompanied with pudina chatni . Chicken Banjara is mix of red and green gravy , which was wonderful as well. Chicken biryani was fragrant, lightly spiced , full of flavour. King size portion . Satisfied with all the dishes .

Visited this place for cousin's get-together on a Sunday noon for lunch. The ambience is simply superb with dim lights and light music playing in the background. Service is quick with attentive and humble staff.
We had chicken, mutton, fish, paneer and baby corn for starters. All the starters were perfect and worth trying. Mutton starter was too good. In main course we had roti and kulcha. Rotis were made of wheat. Palak koftha is definitely a must try. Chicken Biryani was also good. Gulab jamuns were awesome. Spicy guava mocktail is a must try.
This restaurant totally deserves a big thumbs up for its excellent food, ambience and service!

The buffet spread is good and the food was also excellent. Their starters are worth trying. Have been there multiple times for lunch from work.
The ambience is also good. Overall good place to visit if you are around Cunningham Road.
The staff was polite from the very beginning. I ordered a sweet potato starter. I did not expect it to be amazing. But I was wrong! I ordered palak kofta as the side dish with rotis and a veg biryani. Everything tasted superb and had the correct amount of spice (not overly spicy like most Indian restaurants). Will definitely visit this place again
I have been here more than 5-6 times with my family. The food is really good and the waiters are very friendly. Service is very quick. You should try and reserve a table so you don't have to wait.
We had got the banjana chicken and paneer tikka which was extremely flavourful and it was also served with mint chutney!
For main course we ordered the dal makhani and naan and a vegetable biryani..The dal makhani is a must try.
The waiters were attentive and service overall was good. The restaurant well decorated. Overall a good meal.Expensive.But very good!
Very nice restaurant tucked away on Cunningham road. Food is tasty well presented. Ambiance is a bit formal but nice.
Great cocktails and mock tails.
Try the North Indian selection which is very nice.
An ideal place for corporate lunch and dinner
We went here in a group of ten people for lunch in a buffet.
Nice ambience and decent food.
The desert was very nice.
One thing which I always like about Banjara in all its 4 branches in Bangalore is they make sure you step inside the restaurant in the right mood by creating such a wonderful ambience.
Out of the four outlets quality in food is served best in Kormangala, followed by Cunningham road (this one) and kumara park and last is the airport road outlet.
The food was decent with nice flavours. The paneer tikka was soft and had few flavours. The other veg starters were also good. Best dish was the Phulka which was very soft and fresh and nicely made. The sabzis were also tasty but lacked spice.
Overall it was a good experience and it jas been one of our favourite restaurants for celebration of any occasion in family. They have non veg also. Must try if you stay close to any of these outlets and have not tried at all.
A fine dining restaurant!
For starters We had got the banjana chicken and paneer ikka which was really tasty and also well plated!
For main course we ordered the dal makhani and naan and a vegetable biryani..which was really good tooo...Its a little pricy but worth it.
Buffet lunch at banjara melting point, was bookmarked from long finally get to enjoy their food, place is known for their starters in buffet service , but their dum biryani and desserts ( phirni and gajar halwa) was finger licking as well

2nd Oct being a public holiday we decided to utilize our time and visit Banjara Melting Pot. It was since long that I wanted to visit there but it being very far from my place this visit was on pending stage. So finally this weekday holiday gave us enough time to travel to other part of the city just to try our long awaited choice.
Ambience/Music: The ambience is just Woow !! Its a fine dining resturant and everything is so perfectly kept and decorated. There is slow music playing on the background. The lights are dim which gives a very soothing experience.
Staff/Service: The staff is also great in their service. The are prompt and quick and very humble.
Food: We decided to have Veg there, so we ordered Lasooni Makai Mewa Tikki in starter, Paneer Lababdar, Garlic Naan and Kuchla in Main Course and Gulab Jamuns in sweet dish. The tikka was the star of the show for me. I just loved it. Paneer was also nice. But I did not like the Naan and Kulcha much. It Could have been a bit better. Yet again the Jamuns were awesome. They were served hot and were mouth watering.
This was my first Fine Dining Experience and I totally loved this place. Though this place is a bit costly but its worth a try !!
It’s a fine dine, good choice in the menu, the place is to the mark, the service is as it should be of a fine dine, food was great the quality was to the taste of the food.
Ate the buffet lunch yesterday and i must say it was a delightful dining experience. From the ambience to the service and the very tasty food.loved every bit of it.
Although the buffet spread is not very lavish every dish is well prepared and yummy.quality is top notch and taste second to none
The soup and starters are served on the table and main course is on buffet.the service is very attentive and courteous and the decor and ambience is very classy and cozy.its a gem of a restaurant which is a must visit if you really enjoy great indian cuisine.
Its a rare potent mix of excellent food, ambience and service all under one roof and the buffet is value for money.
Keep up the good work team Banjara!!!!!!!
The paneer ghee roast and neer dosa was amazing !!!! I mean best I have tasted till now !!! And coming to non veg the fish fingers were so well balanced with flavour inside !!!! And the chicken sambar was typical manglorean with right amount of flavours !!! Must try these
Absoulte treat!! Regretting myself for not tasting nonveg starters... taste quality ambiance literally perfect... starting wit soup which was perfectly cooked and so was the veg platter wit awesome taste... must visit if u want to taste some quality food...
I visit Bangalore 10 times a year for business. I am a big fan of coastal food. I was recommended this outlet by friend as I was staying close by. The restaurant has a great arrival experience. Welcoming staff. The Spicy Gava cocktail is super. We had Kebabs, Fish, Prawns Ghee roar, Chicken Gassi and Neer Dosa. Food was just superb. A must visit restaurant for Costal food lovers. Only the Calamari needs improvement.
Been there once and dinning experience was marvellous, their decor and service staffs are good. Food is also mouth watering. Price on a higher side but worthy. A must try place.
Courteous staff. Fast service and good food. We went in group of 10 on weekday to celebrate my wedding anniversary. We had both veg and non-vegetarian in the group. Tried many dishes. I being vegetarian ordered veg platter which was really good. In main course ordered a methi curry on staff recommendations. It was very great and goes well with Kerala parotha and veg biryani.
Only cons: Pricey

Couple of days back me and my brothers went to Banjara melting pot for dinner. It's one the best place to have classy dinners. The decor of the place is seriously commendable.
Once we took our seats, going through the menu, we ordered few drinks and then came the starters. The chicken ghee roast was the best if you ask me. The two spiced Mutton gravy was informed the best curry I had ever. Dessert we tried Horlicks barfi and gajar ka halwa.
Definitely a place to take your date or family for some quite dinner.
It has great aura that brings us a calm mood. Malibu Choco brownie factory dessert, chicken biryani and kukkad tandoori is the good. A lil over priced as it as star restaurant.
Min cost for two- Rs.2000
The food was good, but the variety of food is less. There was just one chat given, and just 3 non-veg starters etc. It doesn't match up to buffets like Chetney Chang/ Buff Buffet Buff where there is a wide variety of dishes provided.

The restaurant has very good ambience. Prawn ghee roast here is absolutely delicious. Must try. Service is excellent . Fish masala fry was good but it had coconut oil. The salad here is extremely fresh. They serve cheeselings as nibbles for liquor. I would give a 3.2/5
Good quality food especially starters. All starters are carefully cooked and blended to give the subtleness of tastiness.Try Chicken Tikka's, its finger licking good. We have ordered neer dose and chicken curry for main course. It tasted good and this is one of the few places to have very tasteful mangalore style cuisines. I have also tried Mutton Biryani but Biryani taste is just average. When chicken starters are so good, your expectation of Biryani would be automatically high but Biryani has failed to impress me. Masalas are not blended properly and pieces was not properly cooked.
All in all you can have quality time with you family and friends for dinner with decent ambience.
Heard about the place allot so thought of trying. Surely, there were many sumptuous reasons which created a noise. Most of the starters were made to blow your mind. Staff were extremely humble. And well well, they (restaurant staff) were telling that the restaurant is gonna bring more surprises for food lovers like us. Must try place if u like to have some yummilicious Indian delicacies.
Awesome service and courteous staff. Food quality was also good. Pretty satisfied with the service. Overall ambience is also good. We planned to be there but had to leave owing to the crowd.
We felt AC was a bit too strong but didn't complain so can't say whether anything will be done for that.
In the dessert there's only one eggless dish. So people who don't eat eggs be careful.
Definitely a good place to be.
Surely going again.
I love everything about this place ! It's ambience , the food and the staff.
The staff is an extremely warm and a welcoming bunch!!
The food is simply delicious! The mushroom gulati, the daal Makhani Ans the paneer is a must try!
FROM salads to their main course, everything is done to perfection. I love their buffet too.
Their fish curry is pure bliss.
They really melt all your food cravings.
Had a very pleasant experience, the food, the service and the taste was perfect, (though the ambience is pretty 90s and they charge service charge at 10%)
Paneer chilli is the must try starter in vegetarian as it was cooked to perfection with a hint of garlic and perfectly-soft paneer.
They have very few options for veg-thai-main course. Only Thai curry and rice.
Overall Definitely recommended if ur around this area and looking for a more silent calm place in the chaotic- Cunningham main road area ;)
Banjara is one of my family's favourite places for birthday dinners. I have a lot of fond memories of the place. It gives you good food, a nice selection of drinks, and privacy between tables. The ambiance is pleasant, and the waiters are helpful. We thoroughly enjoy the food too. Thank you Banjara, for always giving us a good time.
One of my favourite dishes is the Murgh dhaniya mirch pudina - it's different from the usual butter chicken fare we would order, and we enjoyed it thoroughly with neer dosas. :)
Awesome food....much lately discovered ..chicken biryani, manchow soup, dhaniya chicken ...finger licking food...one of the best biryani I ever had...surely visiting again
One of the Best Restaurant with Excellent Food for the Veggies & Excellent Starter's & Main Course for Non Vegetarian's Must try Pander Amritsari & Murgh Tikka Masala
Nice food delicious basa.highly recommended to all foodies.if your looking for perfect sea food please visit here once.Superb ambience too.but need little patience for the service.
Best of Indian food is served here. From the starters to the curries to the kulchas and rotis to biryanis and rice items. The vegetarian as well as non vegetarian dishes are superbly made. Definitely a place to try out with family or friends.
Have been to this place more than once.
Food here is never disappointing.
Starters, mock-tails, main course all taste and look good (only veg stuff tried).
Portions served are also decent.
Only issue is the pricing of the stuff. I found it a little expensive considering everything was good but nothing extraordinary.
This restaurant serves some really delicious food!!!

Overall, a really nice place...
Been here over last weekend for lunch, very quite place, food and service is good, buffet is like value for money with options ... Courteous staff go extra in servicing their customers
One of the best places in Cunningham road . Great food good taste right quantity. Alcohol priced a bit higher. Best place for buffet . Have had multiple visits with family here and they offer good service. As it is underground restaurant you might miss the location in that one way road if you are on a drive
Had a great experience on the a la carte on a Saturday evening . The food is hot and yummy and service is prompt .
Keep it up Team Banjara Melting pot.
After a long time could manage to find a restaurant popular for Manglorean cuisines and I was not disappointed...rather it's turned out to be better than my expectations. Prawns ghassi with neer dosa is just mind blowing....super duper hit ....well tried few chicken and mutton dishes as well ....would love ❤️ to come back here to try their remaining manglorean dishes for sure .....a big 👍
A perfect restaurant to sit and have its delicious food. The dimly lit ambiance is blissful. The staff is excellent and courteous. The food is literally finger-licking. It is a complete package that a city can offer and one would love to eat here.
Banjara melting point at Cunningham Road is a delightful restaurant.
I loved their starters, main course & dessert.
Neer dosa & veg gassi is a class apart. The beautifully done dosas just melt in your mouth. The gassi complements the dosa really well.
The blue berry cheese cake for desserts was a cherry on the cake!
Banjara was a complete surprise. I have lived down the road from it for almost 10 years but never attempted to go in. But once I did i have ordered food from here almost every 2nd week. The chicken malai kabab is to die for. The restaurant is elegant. The flooring is stunning. The service is exceptional.
My expectations for this particular place was high as i have heard a lot about it. I decided to go for the lunch buffet, which was alright.
They are suppose to serve good sea food, which I did not see. Also, the food was pretty average compared to the price that they charge.
Ambiance is nice, place is neat and staff is very friendly. The service was quick as well.
Comparing the price and quality of food I got, I do feel like I over-paid. I will not recommend this if you are looking in for a place on budget.

“One of the very nicest things about life is the way we must regularly stop whatever it is we are doing and devote our attention to eating.”. This place known for its Mughlai and seafood delicacies, is located right opposite Citrus on Cunningham road and can be easily missed if not for the big board. Another branch is in Koramangala.
Food- Splendid. This restaurant serves some incredible kebabs in hot Metal 'Pots' that literary 'melts' in your mouth. Indian Breads are phenomenal. Gravies are fantastic. Excellent Rice items. However the Pan Asian/ Chinese cuisine is not as good as........(7/10)
Service- Exemplary. Quick and efficient. Food arrived within 15 minutes. Apple I- Pads are given......(8/10)
Ambiance- Marvelous. Something that's not spectacular yet elegant. One gets a feeling of walking into an outstanding.......(8/10)
Pricing- Moderately high. Not very pocket friendly but value for money. A wonderful meal and...... (7/10)
Recommended/ Top Picks- Murg Angare, Murg Makhkmalai, Baby Butter kulcha, ...........
The buffet at Banjara is decent, but it pales before other restaurants like Three Quarter Chinese which offer a large spread. With a name like Banjara one would expect some good fish dishes in the buffet, but that was not to be--the basa which was served as a starter was disappointing. The fare is limited and not very exciting. But if you are looking for a quick, no-frills, sumptuous working meal, Banjara's buffet fits the bill.
The place is a bit cramped and can get claustrophobic when the restaurant is crowded, especially because it is located in the lower basement. Service is friendly and pleasant.
Food: 3.5/4
Service: 4/5
Ambiance: 3.5/5
I went to this place for dinner on Monday. And I can only say one word about this place- AMAZING! The ambience is very classy, the food is delicious. I am a vegetarian and I ordered all veg food. All of them were yummy. Highly recommended.
The welcome to this restaurant itself was awesome, & what to tell bout the soups, starters & the mains, everything was delicious. The staff are very polite & good.
Had been here on a lunch buffet during a weekday.. The place and d ambience wid d seating is neat.. I like the use of their crockery.. The reason yy I give it a 3.5 is bcoz of its limited items in a buffet.. u usually want alot more in buffet, but their food options got over before it even started.. Very limited opts for a buffet, but the taste is good.. I would definitely recommend to atleast add 5 to 6 items more for the buffet..
Found this place on zomato after reaching Cunningham road,we went on Sunday lunch time and it was quite full.service was very quick and the food was yumm.we ordered north Indian dishes and really liked it.quAunity is okay and price is a bit on higher side but for fine diNing it's a good option.u will love the taste and flavours of the dishes!
Good food. We were late on Sunday afternoon. But we were really satisfied with the food.
The place is not very good from outside but the food rocks.

Catchy name and good reviews led us here for a weekend dinner.Located in Cunningham road which is one of the upcoming places for good resto's in Bangalore , it is easy to miss this place if not alert enough. The resto is located at basement level and a bright sign ( with help from Google map) on the road side leads you to this place, at the entrance would be the valet parking folks waiting to assist. A nicely lit flight of stairs leads downstairs to the dining area and the entrance is welcoming with this nice bar counter right opposite to the entrance.
Ambience is very soothing with nice decor and comfortable seating. Cutlery and these nice slabs(wooden if i am not wrong) like fixtures for keeping plates were just perfect. Then came the Tabs(read Menu) which allows one to place order directly and add any special requests as well. The staff though do come and repeat the order just to ensure they got it right!
Coming to the food - started off with Burnt garlic soup and it was yum! Perfect texture and a refreshing taste to begin with. For starters - we opted for the 'Cheese aur subzi ki seekh' which was soft, tender and definitely cheesy, would have liked more of subzi to balance the flavour but no complaints here and it went well with the chutney provided. For the main course, we had Paneer Khurchan which had a good medium spicy sauce and Phalguni sabzi which needed more veggies, taste was pretty bland ! On the breads- roti, paratha, kulchas were all good and served hot but it seemed like a smaller version because of their size.
Also, tried the szechwan fried rice which was perfect and had corn added as well which was unique. Overall a satisfying meal and a nice fine dining option.
Had lunch buffet ...
It is good place to have lunch in this area.
Ambiance and food quality is very good.
Ambiance is little dark which make looks cool.
I think it have good variety of starter and main course. Chicken tawa fry, chicken tandoori and fish fry was in starter and in main course ghost sarbani, chicken makhmalli and fish green curry are also good. Desserts are ok.
Overall worth to visit to have good food.
This is a really great place..I have always gone with the buffet lunch...because it is elaborate and i can keep on and on.... their veg starter is too good I always go with neer dosa.. as I have not see that quality in any other hotels...their paneer tikka is super... and that ambience is cool...keep it up team.
This place is just yum yum and yum.To enter we have to take the stairs which leads down and then when you enter the ambience is very nice. The chicken and also the sea food here is to die for and the service is very nice. SO do visit this place at least once and you will remember it for sure .
Had a lunch buffet on a weekday , nice ambience with descent offering. Enjoyed food..quite reasonably priced buffet, liked their neer dosa.. Thanks
I used to be a regular at Banjara years ago..somehow lost touch after it moved next doors from its original place in the basement close to the turf club... When some friends suggested to take me here, I jumped at the idea...we arrived quite late to dine, close to shutting time but the staff was very welcoming and prompt in taking our order..the food was served well in time and tasted decent, although it could have been better. The interiors are nicely done up and maintained tidily. The bar seemed well stocked and looked inviting! overall a nice place to visit.
Great food, great service. Very tasty and all starters freshly made. Buffet main was also very good. Only thing is the Aircon was very high so food got cold quickly but other than that great place for team lunch
Such a high class dine experience. Interior was quite amazing. They serves alcohol as well. Tried 3 of chicken dishes and 2 mutton n 2 prawn dishes. All the chicken n prawn dishes was taste delicious. But mutton was not up to the mark. In desert kulfi was a nice option. Overall nice place n food but bit high in cost.
Place is fancy ... Decent food nothing extra ordinary ... You have good drinking options.
Simply awesome North Indian food - you must try the kebab platter there.
Yummy, tasty, appetizing and much more. If you are foodie, you have come to the right place
Amazing food great ambience very professional staff great place for a family get together...........
Nice restaurant good quality food I liked it
Good ambience and service. They have good varieties in Veg and Non veg as well.. Taste is pretty good!
Going here since 2010. The best restaurant in town.
Just perfect place., From ambience to food to great customer service ! Definitely a 10 star. Lil bit on the extensive side though., Meal for two could cost 2k to 3k!
However the price is definitely overcome by there customer delight, great food.. How quickly they get the food you ordered. , option to even customize your dishes, on selected items.
A must visit... Especially for couples !
This place is in the basement of a building in the busy Cunningham road.
Parking:
At first sight, it's hard to fathom that this place would have parking, but you'd be pleasantly surprised to know that it does. If you're facing the entrance of the building, the entrance to the parking is on the left of the building.
Ambience:
It's a beautiful fine-dining restaurant with muted lighting and spacious tables. However, the tables are pretty close together and you can overhear your neighbouring tables. Which only means that they can hear you too.
Service:
The staff is courteous and forthcoming with recommendations. But when it was time for taking the order or giving the bill, our server interacted with only the man on the table. This irked me a lot!
Food:
All the food tasted great. Everything was warm and just the way the food was presented was appetising!
Price:
It was slightly on the pricier side. But you're not only paying for the food in a place like this, you're even paying for the ambience and service. The two of us paid about 3k for two starters, main course and wine.
One of my favourite in Bangalore now.. gotta to be back and back and back again.
