If you have special liking for fish or seafood, then you are at the right destination. They serve delicious dishes of great delicacy. If you are confused looking at the menu card, they might reach you along with a plate full of raw fishes, a closer glance to your choice. One should try the Wharf Special Seafood Soup. You will love the aroma of the soup. The creamy soup is filled with crab meat and prawns. Apart from the customary fish dishes I had tried the Zaffrani Paneer. It was soft, well grilled and tasted absolutely fantastic. Being a big fan of Goan dishes, I couldn't miss the kingfish. Sad that they din't have the full kingfish which was only available in small pieces in the Fish Curry and Rice. The quantity was good enough to serve two people. Din't find the fish curry extraordinary, but it was good. If you are a Cocktail lover you should try Daiquiri, a perfect mixture of white rum and citrus juice.
Quiet family restaurant. Courteous staff. Comfortable ambience. Flavors spot on! Had the tandoori prawns - excellent. Prawns peri peri - excellent. The fish patiala was good too. Drop in for a relaxed meal full of flavor!
Amazing!!!!!What a wonderful evening it was..... Enjoyed every bite and every moment spent at the restaurant.... Especially Mr. Jitender (our waiter for the evening)and Mr.Mohan( The Manager ) they were so patient and sooo nice......
The food was yumm! Seafood lovers would enjoy themselves.. we are definitely going back again n again n again.... As it was mums birthday they surprised us with a piece of cake tooo so wonderful...
Thumbs up!!!!!! .... 👍👍👍👍
Great place to try seafood...mostly Goan style
The wasabi calamari is definitely one of their delicacies and is a must try!
Ambience could be improved...
Calm and peaceful place to visit with the family. The ambience was very good . Food was very very very delicious. It is situated below mlb on the first floor . We got the fish fingers , crispy chicken and honey chilly chicken for the appetizers and for the main course, butter rotis' and the delicious butter chicken. I don't have pictures of the biryani:(
Had a fantastic time here during my office team lunch. The ambience is lively and the appetisers were yum. Food could have been better though.
Went here for lunch with colleagues. The food was really tasty. They serve the starters on the table and it gets repeated until you ask them to stop. The prawns and fish were really good. Chicken was not up to the mark though. Good ambience as well. Overall a very descent place to have good food.
Sunday lunch ..low traffic ...good service ..pomfret rawa fry , prawn tandoori good ...give some training to fnb service ..nachos ...easy relaxed atmosphere
It's rare to find a place which we want to visit again not just because of its food or ambiance but just because of its amazing service. This is a place like this.We arrived late almost at 9 PM for dinner. Started with some beer and fish fingers. Bira beer which was on the menu was not available. Fish fingers were different than usual but above average. we ordered a kingfish peri peri and a tenderloin steak. Kingfish cuisine was amazing and Steak was above average since I ordered medium done but got medium Steak. We took out time, we left by 11.15 pm, even though the restaurant closing time was 10.30 pm, they kept it open for just us and restaurant attendant was very friendly
Food - 4.5

Can't even begin to describe the awesomeness of this place. The super courteous waiting staff make your visit pleasant right from the moment you step in. Super fast service, friendly staff, clean surroundings.
Coming to food - seafood soup is super spicy with green and red chillies added but is super tasty. King fish peri peri and beef starter were made to order just perfect. Consider eating here only if you have a giant appetite as portion sizes are HUGE. Prawn curry rice was again outa the world. The chef, restuarant manager and the waiting staff constantly take your feedback to ensure you're having the best of your dining experience there. Definitely recommend it to everyone who wants some great dining experience and some.amazing seafood.
One point - We expect the kingfish to be more fresh (not that we can complain about what we got today)
Cheers!
Situated right below the hustle and bustle of MLB , this place has the ambience dead opposite to that of it - calm and serene ! The Goan feel attached to this restaurant is emphasised by the attire of the servers here 👌🏿
Didn't need a booking on a Friday night and we were seated comfortably in a cozy corner . The walls and the decor are well done relating to the theme kept in mind .
Ordered the honey chilli chicken for starters and a special mention has to be done about the seafood soup which is a must have ( suggest you spilt it among two of you'll ) 😻
The chicken fried rice had a lovely flavour of its own and the best part was the fish being showcased before going under the blades . We had the pomfret fry in a Goan style and it was quite of the box 👍🏿
BEBINCA a Goan dessert of egg white, jaggery stole the show and summed up a good family time . Children can be kept busy with colouring papers ✌🏽
Good food - check
Good service - check
Good ambience - check
Good music - check
Sea food fanatics must visit this place, a wholesome place for those who really want to explore the sea food delicacies in bangalore. Dishes are well cooled and tender and tasty. Service is to the point. Music is also good, light and sober, keeps you occupied. Drinks need a little work but still that is ok.
The food options are spread across in variety and delicious. However one item that is missing which makes any Goan restaurant incomplete is the kokam juice or kokam KADI.
Please add this to your menu along with cheese options to order along a bottle of wine.
Had been here with friends and had a great time.
The ambiance of the restaurant is as such that if there was a beach at Lavelle Road, this would look like a mini resort. The Hawaiian style dressing of the attendants; funky 80s music and, most importantly, the food (cooked in true Goan style) with the right amount of spices; ingredients and flavouring makes this place win accolades hands down.
Best thing to choose when visiting this place would be the 'Fresh Catch of the Day', which consists of Lobsters; Red Snappers; Jumbo Prawns and Pomfret. My personal favourite is Red Snapper prepared in Goan style with generous amount of steamed rice. The attendant was very helpful to suggest the right portions for me and my colleague and choose to divide the fish in to starters and main course rather than us getting an extra starter so as to avoid any wastage of food. The restaurant manager paid special attention to the dining guests to ensure the food and services were up to the mark.
And, to the vegetarians - the place is more than just about fish. North Indian dishes also form part of the menu.
And, to those who enjoy good drinks - there is a bar right above the restaurant where you get good selection of beverages and snacks to live the weekend
Visited the fisherman's wharf on Valentine's day and wound up having their lunch buffet, after a short brief regarding their spread. We were served 2 veg, 2 non-veg and 2 seafood starters, which including Shanghai chicken, chicken sheekh, rava fried prawns, hariyali fish, hara bara kebab and cottage cheese roles. All the starters tasted pretty good, except for the Shanghai chicken, which was was pretty much all bone. Needless to say, we avoided it almost completely. Apart from the main course, which had all possible options, none of which were really worth mentioning, there were options for chaat, few yet delicious desserts and a very bland salad counter. I'm not sure about their a-la-carte, but the taste of the items at the buffet was a thorough a disappointmen overall, and not worth it's nearly 600rs (all-in) price tag and seems to have been set up in order to boost business. Would have given the restaurant a lower rating for the food, but it deserves a 4 for prompt and courteous service. Also, it's not always fair to judge a place by it's buffet, which IMO, should be priced at nothing above Rs. 400.
I was visited hear some day before.
I had buffet, price was value for mony
Food was really testy really happy
Seafood it's special amazing
I love prawns peri-peri
Authentic goan spice
Service supper
Statras starving on table fresh and hot
Thanks to manager Mr Vijay
And Roni is good server
I will visit again
Good place for fish lovers?? No not really. They got fish and a price tag which directly proportionate to the weight other than that nothing special to call as a seafood restaurant, ohh the name too.
The food is tasty and the service is great too. But i would say the price is on the higher side and i would expect something better on that tag.
The place is good. Whatever they served was good . The prawn curry, goan fish curry and pasta. So was the prawn starter. The peri peri fish was a little too spicy.
But the let down is the choice of fish and seafood is too limited ( 2starter and 2 main dish) only in the buffet. I think they need to improve on that as a seafood and fish are supposed to be the speciality there.
Completely trust this place! Perfect for hosting corporate lunches or taking out guests. Diverse menu, excellent food and amazing service. The manager took very good care of us and our guests. Would love to visit again and highly recommended!
So it's my birthday we decided to have seafood, looking at ratings we came here. Starting with first impression yes the restaurant is good with decent ambience. We ordered the following
Starters:
1. Butter Garlic Prawns : well these had no taste and it was very blunt with no seasoning.
(So the staff did come to us and asked if we wanted to replace, but till then we added salt pepper n were almost done)
2.Chicken Caffreal: A good starter with nice green chilly and corriander combination.
3.Fish Fingers: Thank god, this was great loved it
Main:
1.Chicken xacuti: Hmm well it was Okay and nothing great we added a lime for more taste
2.Fish curry: Well taste wise it was good, but there was a funny smell in the curry, I think it was the oil in which it was cooked. And we did not complete this gravy.
3.Tandoori roti: okay
4.Rice: Soft and good
Dessert: Got a nice chocolate cake complementary from them.
Service: well the staff was very polite and well mannered.

Food is too good. Ambiance is amazing. Prices are bit high but worth the money you pay! Do try the Devils chocolate cake................. 😋
Good seating arrangement for dinner. Nice ambience. Colorful uniforms with a lots of seafood. Prawns, calamari Everything was mouth watering. Service was bit on a down side but manager was really proactive. Pocket friendly. A must go place with family.
A good chilled out place.....
Sea foods is great....
Buffet was full filling .....
Price also was reasonable ...
Needs to work on service..
Great service, good food and good liquor.... very courteous staff. Highly recommended. Went there for a team lunch and they took good care of us despite the crowd! Great crew ...
Recommend to go here blindly without a second thought, amazing food and nice ambience with well mannered staff.
Also a place to expect some great sea food but surprised with other veg delicacies too.
The place is decent the food is great, the ambiance is great and the service is way to good,we would like to come here again and try few more stuff,I highly recommend this place to everyone.
It's a decent place for fish lovers like the name suggests. Somehow I don't like the a la carte menu. It never gives you a filling experience. This is in no way a comment on the quantity but the menu items are a little over hyped and just doesn't cater to my taste buds. The best thing is their buffet in the weekdays at the Lavelle Road outlet. This has a better mix of recipes to make it a perfect Friday team outing !!
The best time to visit this place is during their buffet hours. I heard the buffet is really good. We ended up there on a boring Saturday afternoon, the place was quiet as a cemetery(in a good way) The food was worth the travel especially non-veg (at least that's what my friends told me). The veg was equally good and worth the money. Hope to visit the place for a buffet and find out more.
Easy to locate. Spread over 2 floors, one floor if you're in the mood for dancing to music and the other one for dining in peace and quiet.
Their 'happy hours' extend till they close, sure to make you very happy.
The food was god, except for the Calamari , which tasted suspiciously like Vadas :)
Cheerful and quick service. Liked being here.
One of the best seafood restaurants i have ever been to.. hospitality is flawless.. and the food delicious.. the grilled red snapper was delicious so was the crab butter garlic.. they even have an awesome happy hours menu.. had a awesome time with friends 😊😊
With zero plans we went to Lavelle Road on Saturday for dinner. We chose fisherman's wharf as we have never been there and thought we will give it a try. We ordered for the chicken manchow soup which was the best in the whole meal I suppose. For starters we got fish fingers and Crispy fried chicken. The crispy chicken was good but nothing extraordinary but we didn't like the fish finger which was awful. For main course we ordered for chicken teriyaki, chicken fried rice, chicken tikka masala, naan and kulcha. And I must admit that The main was good except for the naan which was literally like papad. We got monkey boys cosmos, virgin mojito, muddy water and some Coke based mocktails as well. Nothing special from other places but they tasted good too. Coming to the service, the staff members are very friendly and attentive. The place was so silent and calm and looked good too. Not a bad place to visit and give it a try.

Visited here today as part of my team lunch from my workplace. We did receive negative feedback about this place earlier but I still wanted to try it anyway. We opted for a buffet and were absolutely impressed by the starters served. Everything served tasted good. Main course and salads are something they should work on. The desserts served was also good enough. It's a simple place with a simple spread.(no nonsense and no sophistication). No harm in trying, hence all of you can try it atleast once.
One of the best restaurant to have sea food and veg cusines with decent ambiance and obviously excellent service. Liked alot. Better to have more main courses in non veg.
Beautiful ambience. Very nice and tasty food. 5/5 for hygiene and cleanliness. Very courteous waiters.
Price is little on the higher side. But this place is a definite go to place if you are a sea food lover.
Wanted to have some coastal food and amazing goan curries thus decided to visit The Fisherman's Wharf at Lavelle Road The Fisherman's Wharf
We ordered for Fish Ambotik, Chicken Xacuti, which went so well with the rice. For starters we had ordered Masala prawns, Buffalo Chicken wings. The Masala prawns were amazingly spicy and the fish Ambotik was so perfect.
We came here for a team lunch, a while back.
This place is located, on the first floor, just next to The Biere Club.
This being a team lunch, we went for the buffet options. The starters were good and fresh.
Except one of fish starter, everything else tasted good.
The main course though was okay, not bad but nothing to blow your mind either.
Same goes for the desserts.
The place was nice and bright with one glass wall overlooking the Lavelle road.
The place is very nice. I loved the ambience and the seating place. Also it had all kinds of sea food. You need to try the lobster here. It was awesome. But it is actually too costly. I would thus rate 4.5 for food but 3.5 for cost. So the average comes to 4. It is amazing to eat fresh seafood.
This place serves one of the best buffets in Bangalore..in fact their seafood items are heavenly..the crispy calamari and the Goan fish curry they serve is mouthwatering.. awesome place..and pocket pinch is worth trying..cheers!!
Fisherman’s wharf has been on our to-do list forever now and I finally got to try out this joint when an outstation guest expressed her seafood cravings. Usually I would have gone for the good old Bangalore favorites, but decided to try out something new. I have heard good reviews, so can’t really go wrong… or so I assumed.
We arrived at Fisherman’s wharf which is located at the beginning of Lavelle Road, (they have another branch in Sarjapur) just opposite the Harley showroom. Fortunately for us they had valet parking – very helpful given the notoriety of traffic piling up on that stretch due to hungry folks like me hunting for parking space. The restaurant is on the first floor, and the also have a cocktail lounge on the 2nd floor.
The interiors are nice and lively with quirky paintings on the wall and interesting giant sea shells scattered across the floor. The servers were attentive to our requests, polite, and suggested popular items on the menu proactively.
Our order:
Appetisers:
• Butter Garlic Prawns
• Masala Fried Calamari
• Beef Chilly Fry
• Pork Assad
• Catch of the Day – Rawa Fried Whole Red Snapper
Main Course:
• Penne Carbonara (Post the appetizers one of our guests decided to change cuisine for his next course!)
• Goan Fish Curry & Rice
(We also ordered mussels, goan sannas, and one more dish. All three were unavailable. Apparently they were slow moving items. In that case, it shouldn’t be on the menu as it becomes a bit of a disappointment when one sets their mind to something only to be told its unavailable).
The butter garlic prawns were mediocre. The prawns by itself were without seasoning, felt like it was just boiled and dunked in the butter garlic dressing. As for the dressing – it lacked punchy-ness that comes from the garlic. Also, not intending to amend the chef’s recipe, I would have included some citric acid for a bit of a tang.
The Masala fried Calamari was nice. A goan dish, made in rechado masala. We liked it, although I have had better. Getting the cooking time correct for Calamari is tricky. The chef had this aspect nailed – it was soft and had just the right bite to it. Well done chef (pun intended)!
The Beef chilly was a huge let down for me. It was a bit chewy firstly and the flavors were boring. Plus there was something off with the meat. Reminded me of when meat is cooked without being completely thawed.
The star for me this evening was the Pork Assad. There was a lot of oil but hey its cheat day. The flavors were robust, all of us enjoyed this dish. The meat was really soft, loved it.
The snapper was decent. Crispy, well cooked, we liked it. Not a wow dish, but it would do. At 900++ I was expecting a bit more. It was served with a chilly sauce of sorts, I would definitely change the accompanying sauce if given a choice. In fact I was scooping the rechado masala onto the fish – went quite well!
The penne was good, creamy, full of cheesy goodness. You can’t really go wrong when bacon is involved! Also, the portion size was huge.
The Goan fish curry again was a bit of a letdown. I got the same off taste from the fish that I got with the beef. The curry by itself was pretty nice. This dish was accompanied by a dry prawn chutney of sorts – very nice!
The service deserves a mention. Everyone was very attentive and kept checking on us throughout the meal.
Overall, I wouldn’t come back for sea food for sure, maybe I will try the continental and Asian sometime.
If you want to explore some amazing sea food in the town, go for this restaurant without any hesitation. A perfect family restaurant on Lavelle road for a peaceful time. Tried the rava fried prawns, fish tikka, Goan chicken, pulao and everything was just amazing. Chocolate mousse, apple pie, vanilla ice cream consisted of desserts and everything was purely delicious. Good overall management service. Thank you, the fisherman's wharf.
Above soda bottle opener wala.. yummy sea food.. loved chilli crispy prawn.. ambience is good.. music is great .. good crowd .. I recommend this place for sea food lovers
Awesome Food. Amazing seafood. Very very fresh ingredients are used.. Tried butter garlic prawns , chilli chicken , hakka noodles, masala fried calamary .. Prawns and calamary is must try.. Try Bebinca for desert.. Tastes yum!!
Loved the place.
Excellent varieties to choose from the combination is wonderful. Ordered a lot of starters the yakitori ,pork chilli , crispy chicken, crab , fried prawns and so on .. Only if the waiter knew what he was serving I asked him what it was he said " pork "when it was beef as someone in the group ordered beef as well, anyways the food is really good the sausage pulav, the fish curry, fried rice the Pav and all throughly satisfying. The best is the alcohol drinks happy hour buy one get one free.. It's a good catch as we order a lot of snacks . The lunch is reasonable buffet the manager said .. For around INR 580, 4 veg starters & 4 non- veg and a nice spread of main course definitely need to visit them for the lunch buffet. I would recommend this place without a doubt.
Last minute lunch decision, ended up here. Has Vallet parking which is a relief.
Start off with drinks. Unlike other places, all drinks have such good amount of alcohol. And we went on a Sunday, Happy hours offering 1+1 drinks which is well worth it for the money.
Starters Masala Prawns and Honey Chilli chicken both were good. Loved the Prawns especially, plate was empty within minutes (too good).
For main we had naan and Fish Ambotik, if you love tangy this is something u should try. Plus fish curry and rice was well prepared and served.
Service here is very satisfying.
Good music and ambience, they have happy hours till about 11 I guess. We didn't try anything to eat accept for fries and they were perfect. The location is good, if you are not okay with loud music. Can hop to places around.

Visited this place on a Friday night. It was less crowded while more rush was in their club lounge. We ordered seafood soup, chicken minestrone, chilly beef, grilled sea bass, prawn curry, mutton, paneer and roti. Everything was very good. They all had a very unique taste. We liked soup and grilled fish especially. Service was very warm and cordial. It took some time to serve us food but the wait was worth it, so no complaints. Only one area of concern was they do not have a rest rooms on the floor. You have to go to the club lounge upstairs for the rest rooms
Headed here with a couple of friends with great apprehension. We thought it would be a typical seafood restaurant, but decided to give it a go after hearing good stuff about it from friends and family. Was glad! Even my vegetarian friend totally fell in love with the place! The lunch buffet was worth every penny with delicious dishes! The staff is very well trained and courteous! My friend was also surprised to get a pasta dish from the staff on the house, when he overheard her saying she was craving pasta. Great place!
First time to TFW. Taken my colleagues for a lunch. Booked in advance assuming we may not get a table. But, it was surprising to see a very few tables occupied although TFW is located at heart of the city.
We had a quite time and the music was not loud. We opted for buffet. The food was good in general. But, the credit goes to all sea foods served for both starters and main course. The man at the pasta counter really made good varieties of pasta had by couple of my colleagues and they really liked it. The desert was awesome although they were limited. I would go with the following rating.
Ambiance: 3/5
Sea Food Starters: 4.5/5
Other Starters: 4/5
Soup Veg (Lemon Coriander Clear): 4/5
Soup Non-Veg (Mutton Meaty Clear): 3.5/5
Main course Veg and Non-Veg: 4/5
Desert: 4.5/5
Staff/Service: 4/5
Value for Money: 4/5
If you are going for à-la-carte, go for as many sea food as possible and don't miss-out to order BEBINCA from their desert menu. BEBINCA was awesome and it was there in the buffet menu as well.
Parking is not adequate. You need to reach early to get proper parking. They have valet parking. But, not sure where do they park. Otherwise, you can park in UB City and walk down.
Note to The Fisherman's Wharf: Charging Rs. 41 more than the MRP of Rs. 78 on the water bottle is unjustified. Charging Rs. 119 for a water bottle is really not good. You guys need to think about it. Serving Aquafina/Bisleri should be good enough.
We a group of 7, went for the buffet. In starter they serve 4 veg and 3 nonveg items. Fish and paneer fry was notably good amongst those. There was one fish salad in the salad counter that you must try! Main course basically was veg dominating, starting from paneer ,malai kofta, baby corn and all. Non had 2, goan fish curry and mutton. Desert was decent, mango custrd dragged our attention most ! Service was good, but service charge was painful, 7.6%. :-( apart from general taxes.
I was happened to be here on a hungry day, and it didn't disappoint me. Lunch buffet had a wide spread, and it was a value for money deal where most of the restaurants charge double of what these guys does! Vegetarian startes was also good, needless to mention sea food was good only prawans curry was bit sweet in taste, rest everything was soo perfect. Overall a good experience and visit back again for sure to this place
Well spend evening......
Ambience is so romantic........
Situated in a prime location......
Try sea foods esp crabs....
Surrounded in much happening places like hubs and night out... made a special evening.
I totally loved the Fisherman's Wharf! Ambience good, service excellent and food totally outstanding! Bebinca and prawn tempura were my standout dishes.
I would like to thank the whole staff of Fisherman's Wharf and especially Joel the manager for making my Son Shourya s birthday a great success. The food and the whole set up was excellent and perfect place for a family get together. Food quality was awesome and the taste was good. The hospitality was remarkable . Looking forward to celebrate more family together and parties at Fisherman's Wharf.
Thank You
U can call this place small GOA !! Yes u heard that right...awesome place to have sea food... Goan style fish curry........finger licking :)
Nice Location very next to Beer club and Harley davidson Showroom .
Valet Parking is available .
Ambience is good ... Food quality is awsome. Too Many options for Starters ... Weekdays crowd is less but over weekend there could be long waiting time, PLease book a table especially on weekends.
Non Veg items starters specially haryali chicken and Masala chicken is too yummy to eat.
Decent buffey but their fortey is Starters which are close to 5 and Sea food starters which is yummy and delicious.
Main course is decent with good taste and homely style cooking.
Definately a Must visit place

We are always out on a new adventure every time. The most important question we have on our minds is: What do the chefs have in store for us?
Because of this, sometimes we have to move out of our comfort zone and try a variety of food. Although moving out of one’s comfort level is difficult—it pays off for sure! (Most of the time, as long as you don’t regret)
The encounter we have in store for you this time is not moving out of our comfort zone as we have tried some of the preparations before. The cuisine we are talking about is Goan and the restaurant we tried is The Fisherman’s Wharf, which is situated in Lavelle road, Bangalore near to UB city.
Well Goa is quite close to our hearts, because of its beautiful beaches, lovely people and the spicy and different food. (Cheap liquor too ;))
Coming down to the restaurant and their food:

They serve multiple cuisines but they specialize in Goan Food. We had all sorts of goan food there and I ahve to say I was impressed. The goan flavour can be sort of an aquired taste but if you like to try out different cuisine and flavours then you should definitely give it a try and here! the ambience is okay, can be better.
The food however is great! The service is good as well.
The best preparation i tried was the Crab xec xec , mind blowing! Beautiful flavours, the crab cooked perfectly! The next thing I loved was the chorizo pao they have. The pao is served with pork meat preparation and the goanese flavours were at full play here!
The Mushroom tonak is a nice vegetarian dish to have with rice , spicy and slightly coconut- y. The Prawn shrip cocktail here is one of the best I have had in a long time , here in bangalore.
We had Bevinca , a goan dessert, served with ice cream . I have mixed feeling about it. it was nice but not exactly to my taste. The apple pie we tried was decent.
I will go back again for some good goan food, that's for sure!
It was one of those Sunday that we were not sure what to eat for lunch.. Considering that we were near MG Road our mind went racing on what we could eat today.. Then we thought of having a soulful fish curry rice.. Immediately we were transported to the legendary shacks of Goa and Martin's Corner and Fisherman's Wharf came into our mind. Almost all the time we are in South Goa we would end up at either of these places for lunch and dinner.
The initial times we had been to Fisherman's Wharf it had not lived up to the original fame and still missed the Goan flavour of Fisherman's Wharf, Mobor, Goa which necessitated the need to still make the pilgrimage trip to eat those food..
With absolutely no great expectations we turned up here. Ordered our Fisherman's Wharf Mobor specialties - Fish Tikka, Goan Fish Curry Rice. I am not a great fan of Chicken Cafreal but we decided to give it a try as there were lots of fish already on the order along with Sea Food Fried rice. I would have gone for one more fish but we were not in Goa and didn't want to take the risk with an all fish order.
Service was quick. Our Fish Tikka scored close to 90% of the ones we had in Mobor. Goan Fish Curry was more spicier and less tangy than the Mobor one was still near spot on. Loved the spice of the curry. The Cafreal blew me away. It was excellent and Seafood fried rice was spot on and less oily.
The wonderful meal was topped off with some good Bebinca..
All together an excellent meal. Hmm.. So I may not need to transport ourselves to Mobor very often but head to Lavelle Road for a 95% match. Still would miss the Lazy setting right on the bank of Sal River
Keep up the good work.
A nice small place. Good ambience.
I tried their buffet. It was really good but they have a lot on their menu rather than buffet.
They have the best sea food white sauce pasta and nice butter garlic prawns. One thing what I loved about their buffet is the prawns curry and stem rice. Overall I love this place
This place boasts of great ambience and it made my special occasion even more special.. I ordered lobster( in butter garlic sauce) and fish curry rice .. The quantity of lobster served was less compared to its hefty price .. However it was tasty.. The fish curry rice was made perfectly and quantity was great too .. Overall a worthwhile visit..
Very good experience. Ambience, food, beverages all good. heard a lot about this place and finally got the chance to visit and i am happy. They have not disappointed at all. Will visit again. Loved there Starters!!!!!
Lovely ambience to start off with....The juicy prawns amd fish will take u to anothwr level...Expected a lot more seafood varities as there were only two of them...Service was very good

The food here is typically goan. The menu does not disappoint. We ordered buffalo wings and prawn masala for starter and they were super tasty. The drinks boasts of the right hint of flavors and I recommend you to try the straw-bana-berry.. A mocktail that you will love pairing with the food. For mains we ordered for kadhai jhinga and basmati pulao. The prawns are juicy and not overcooked and had retained its flavor.

We had my kids' birthday party last Sunday at the Fisherman's Wharf on Lavelle road. We were scouting for venues with a list of places to visit but when we spoke to Mr.Joel and the chef, we immediately knew we didn;t have to go elsewhere. They were extremely hospitable and accommodating. The menu was fantastic with the right kind of food my 8 year old loves. He is big on seafood and more so if it is finger food. So the prawn and squid tempura and the pista crusted fish were a major hit. And so was the pasta and noodles. The menu was extensive enough to cover both vegetarians and non vegetarians. Me personally, I would do anything to get the recipe for the prawn curry. We liked it so much, Mr.Joel got it packed for us. The staff was extremely helpful in dealing with the seating arrangements and the decorations as well as providing us with everything we needed to get the party going. All in all, an extremely pleasant experience and great food. We wouldn't have had it any other way. I will be going back definitely for a relaxed sit down and my crusted fish and goan prawn curry.
Please note, I am a huge fan of Goan kitchen and so this review is more of a softer side. Happened to visit this place on Sunday. Well, I don't think a table reservation is really required, we are one of the three occupied tables and there are many free tables around. Oh btw I visited at 2 PM which is absolutely busy time for most of restaurants. They had an in-house bar and they serve drinks as well. Now about food they really have some good varieties of sea food starting from different Fish, prawns, crab, lobster ... What not, name it they have it. I liked the names of dishes, definitely reminded me Goa. Also, servers dressed in typical Caribbean style which is another attraction. I ordered pomfret cooked with typical spices in Goan masala. They charge pomfret according to the size and I should say I'm so amazed with the delicious taste of it. It is one of the best I had till date. I'm definitely going there again to have it. We then ordered Goan prawn curry with rice which also tasted at its best. We dint tried much options coz of another plan but would definitely going to visit this place again.
Ambience : 3/5 (Not really a great ambience)
Service : 4/5 (They know much about dishes)
Food : 4/5 (Coz I'm a huge fan of Goan food)
Value for Money : 3.5 (I felt it lil costly)
Ambience is good!! Loved the food here.. I'm a non vegetarian and my husband is vegetarian. I loved my food but my husband was little disappointed with vegetarian food.. Try to keep up the quality of food whether it is veg or non veg. Give equal preference to all kinds of food.

I am not sure why Fisherman's Wharf keeps north Indian and Chinese food on its menu when it claims to be a seafood place and has some outstanding dishes in that space.
Anyway, their Stuffed Crab (flavoured crab meat, served in a crab shell) is an amazing dish. We ordered and loved the Pork Assad. For kids, the Squid Tempura and Fish & Chips are good choices.
Overall, heartily recommended for the seafood and coastal cuisines.
I had been here for my husband's birthday dinner. It's a perfect place for a quiet romantic dinner. The seafood is very fresh. We had the prawn chilli, squid tempura and the seafood Hakka noodles. Nothing extraordinary but decent. They gave a complimentary devil's chocolate cake for the occasion which was very thoughtful!! And the devil's chocolate cake was the best thing we ate that night. It was just yum!!! :). A place for u to go for fresh seafood and quiet meal!!
The first time I had been to fisherman wharf, I was taken aback by the cool and hip ambience of this place. The crowd was decent and the food was titillating. As far as the prices of the drinks, I must say none can beat them. My favorite by far is their long island ice tea. It's a must when u go there. The long island ice tea I had over there was better than the one I had in America.
Service is very good and bar tenders are friendly. Ganesh Thakur was most courteous and friendly bar tender. His skills in preparing cocktails is unmatched.
Comfortable seating, buffet facility, perfect lighting and amiable ambience served with tasty food.
This famous Goan cuisine restaurant, at Lavelle road Bangalore, is definitely a 'good to try' place. Why just try, because you wanna bet eating a better goan/ sea good cuisine in Goa.
The goan 'tadka' is slightly evident in vegetarian dishes too, and they are hot (chilly). So watch out if you get heartburns.
If you have been pub hopping at Lavelle road, this place would be good for a quick meal. Good to enjoy some martini with finger foods!! 👍👍
I read about this place on Zomato & decided to give it a try after seeing their menu.
They have some good selection of Goan cuisine. They have a wide selection of sea food that you can choose from the menu or else can select from the fresh catch of the day display and have it cooked as per your preference. We got a white pomfret fish fillet rechado masala & then covered with red sauce. It was finger licking good. . Thanks, indeed it was nice and we had a wonderful time at "the fisherman’s wharf". Food was very good, staff’s was simply amazing, they really mean what hospitality is all about. Good Care was taken to serve food at the right time. Great value for money, great service and good food and quantity!! Sure to visit again soon with lot more people and family Thanks,
Worth the money . Starters were awesome , the quality of chicken , prawns were good and tasty. We can find some chats too. Chicken soup was descent. Salads were also good . Main course had pasta and noodles which was ok , but chicken and fish curries were good. Deserts were few but was really good . hot jamoons , some sweets and ice cream.
Overall I am sure you I'll be satisfied.
So, this happened on a night. I had decided to head to Lavelle Road to find a good joint. But, my friends force me to visit Fisherman’s Wharf instead. Unable to fight with three people who were hell bent on having dinner at this place, I succumbed to their wishes and we went to Fisherman’s wharf Restaurant
Trust me, that was the best decision I made on that night. I'M NOT A BIG FAN OF SEAFOOD. But, the amazing delicacies served at this place has changed my perception towards seafood.
The food was amazing and delicious. We ordered butter garlic prawns, masala fried calamari from the appetizers menu. Each dish better than the other.
We also ordered Pork Assad and Goan Fish curry from the main course. Personally, the Pork Assad was the star amongst all the dishes we ordered. It was insane. I would highly recommend this place to everyone who wishes to re-live Goan experience in Bangalore.. Highly Recommended
i somehow love visiting The fisherman’s Wharf, they have an excellent service, serve good food and has an hospitable ambiance. the food is really amazing. i like their fish masala tawa fry, Prawn curry, squid tempura, and crispy fried chicken. these are awesomely made and well-presented items. service is fast and friendly. waiters are cordial and courteous. they greet with smile and serve food nicely. It is a perfect to spend some time with friends and family over the food..
One of the best places in Bangalore to savour authentic goan delicacies. All the food was good, but the goan sausages were by far my favourite -- they're the best I've had outside of Goa The grilled fishes are also awesome though slightly costly. I have visited this place twice and it has never been disappointing with food and their service. I highly recommend this place.
Fisherman’s wharf is known for its delightful coastal ambience and menu featuring a variety of seafood and Goan cuisines. Restaurant offers a charming setting with live music and a relaxed atmosphere. Food options are good and their tap beer is also fine. We have ordered tiger prawns and red snapper from their fresh fish option available. Snapper fry was good but the tiger prawn was undercooked. It could have been better if it was cooked well.Presentation of all food items were really nice though. Overall an average experience.
The atmosphere in this location was great. But unfortunately the service is not so much.
They got our order wrong multiple times and got annoyed when we complained about it. Obviously, they were not prepared for a larger group at all. Which js a shame for this nice location.
Unfortunately, the food was also not outstanding. It was okay, but not really the best around. I hear so many good things about this place, so I'll give it a try again next time when I visit.
A lovely place to have sea food. Superb ambience with natural air ventilation and perfect lighting. A lovely place for sea food lovers with options to have fresh Lobsters, Pomphret, Jumbo Prawns and so on. Live music in the evening adds to the mood in the eve. Overall a great place for a family dinner or a dinner date.
I went on a Sunday Evening for a late lunch and the place was very quiet and peaceful with nice groovy music. I would definitely visit during peak hours as it's a beautiful party place. As for the food, they serve all kinds of seafood and goan cuisine. I didn't enjoy the xacuti as it wasn't really for my taste but otherwise everything else was great.
This is a good place to dine at harlur. They have a good parking place. As you enter you the place welcomes you with a fountain, kids play area, and a few artifacts. The starters are good and also the main course. Broccoli soup was good, There is live music which adds to the charm. Over all a good place to gather for food

I recently had the pleasure of dining at fisherman's wharf, and I must say that both the chef and waiter truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I entered the restaurant, I was greeted warmly by the lady receptionist who immediately made me feel welcome and comfortable by giving us a gift voucher
The waiter's attentiveness throughout the meal was exceptional. He provided excellent recommendations from the menu, describing each dish in detail with enthusiasm. He also made sure to check on our table regularly, ensuring that we had everything we needed without being intrusive. His knowledge of the ingredients and preparation methods showcased his passion for the culinary arts
One minor area for improvement is the timing of the courses. While the overall dining experience was exceptional, there were slight delays between courses. However, the incredible food and impeccable service more than made up for this minor inconvenience.
In conclusion, the chef and waiter at this place truly went above and beyond to provide an outstanding dining experience. Their passion for food and commitment to quality were evident in every aspect of the meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a memorable culinary journey.
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of visiting The Fisherman's Wharf in Bengaluru, and it was truly a delightful experience. The ambiance exuded a coastal charm, with its vibrant decor and a soothing sea breeze that transported me to a seaside escape. The restaurant's attention to detail in recreating a coastal vibe was commendable.
Great ambiance, delicious authentic food but unfortunately TFW has quite poor service. Be prepared to wait for a bit for your food to show up. We were the only customers during the lunch hour but we waited over 30 minutes for our food to be brought out to us. Definitely recommend their prawn curry rice and tawa fried fish.
Good ambiance but all foods are not great . Specially fish, feel not that good. We are in fisherman but fish are not freash. Bit disappointed but rest u will enjoy.
The service was painfully slow for 7.30PM when there were hardly any guests. The ambience is quite good and there was live music.
The food is decent but their idea of masking the true price by adding an additional service charge of 7.5% is quite questionable to make their menu look deceptively cheaper by 7.5%.
Not sure if the bearers receive these tips in whole on a daily basis. It's unlikely, since there is a bank transaction fee at either leg of the transaction which may or may not be taxed at the bearers end.
I think the restaurant must consider adhering to the local laws not what happens abroad. If they want to pay their bearers to be paid service charges then it should be included in the cost of the dish than deceptively price it or allow patrons to directly pay to the bearers.
This restaurant has got a very large space for paking. Also the food we tried was really delicious (Sea food soup, Fish curry meals which is made of King fish). The staff behaviour was very cordial and the ambience was really good with live music(Lunch time)
Nice ambience & good food. They can include more options in veg main course. Overall its fine. There is a slide for kids so kid friendly too.

Average resto bar.. reception and billing both doesn't communicate at all... Food quality is very good.. Not children friendly as the bar and restaurant are too open and all the cigarette smoke enters thw restaurant area making unpleasing situation...
I visited there more than 6 times in last 5 years. I am from Kerala. The food , service and ambiance were top class. Kids play area also very nice
Realised i am allergic to sea food (prawns). The place is kid friendly. Had a lot of options to choose from. Lotus stems could have been better.
Went for lunch with spouse.
Pros:
Great food
Great Ambience
Great service
Value for money
Great people
Best &widest seafood options
Good price to quantity ratio
Cons:
Non smoking areas could be a little bit well lit
Hari gave exceptional and fast service. Food was excellent and as per expected taste. Price is little higher but worth it. Would love to visit again.
