I went out to see place with my family and we sat towards outside .. it gave quite a private and peaceful place to dine with family. Food is good too and order is brought on table timely .. my 6 month niece had a good time too so we overall had a good experience

We have been to this place thrice so far and look forward to visit more often because of the Yummylious food. Chicken biriyani, mutton roganjosh, kadai chicken are our favourite . Large portions ,each dish is sufficient for 2 people. Staff who served us , his name was Deepak . He was extremely courteous . And No he did not sit on my head and asked to write a review mentioning him . If you visit this place you can actually ask for Deepak as your server and tell me your experience after that. Salt is one of our favorite places to dine. Food is delicious. Hospitality of staff is very welcoming. Even deserts and drinks are awesome. We have been there quite many times and once we tried Bibinca. It was one of best we had ever tried. Yesterday we were served by Surojit and he was very polite and courteous.Overall it's a perfect place to enjoy good north Indian food.

One of the best place for North Indian style cuisine. Loved each and every dish we had. Chicken,mushroom and lamb starters, naan and chicken for main course and even the dessert was very tasty. The staffs are very courteous and service was also very quick. I think I have found a place to go next time whenever I want to have North Indian food.

Went here with family on a Friday evening. Ambience is great and the vibe was very welcoming. We had ordered cheese corn balls, old Delhi butter chicken, mutton rogan josh, butter naan and veg pulao. All of them were delicious... They didn't give me a chance to complain. Staff was very courteous. He got complimentary shot of orange juice and snacks for my kid...it kept him happy and busy. Want to give a shout-out to our table staff for his great service.
The restaurant is hygienic and “Durga” was really helpful. He helped us with choosing the food based on our preferences and was prompt to collect the feedback for food. I would definitely love the visit Salt again.

After a long search of restaurants in Whitefield, we finally selected this place to treat our family. We were looking for a perfectly fine dining with north Indian cuisine. Definitely, this place met our expectations.
We ordered Chicken tikka, they offered the only 6piece. For the price, I thought they can increase the no pieces. But taste-wise it was awesome 👍. Chilli paneer and baby corn were very delicious. The paneer cubes we're very soft. Overall, all the stater we're amazing. When it comes to the main course taste-wise it was not up to the mark. That is the reason I am giving it a 4star.
The kadhai mushroom was very simple and the taste was not that good.
I will recommend this place if you are in search of a fine dining north Indian cuisine.

After reading a lot of positive reviews about Salt everywhere,i decided to visit it today and must say it stands upto the hype totally,Super courteous staff,One of the finest biryani i have had in Bengaluru,Ordered Parde ki Mutton Biryani and Salt’s Special Melting Choclate ball for dessert which completely blew us off,A Must visit place for family and youngsters,The staff even served us complimentary shots of after meal coconut special drink which was a super special gesture,This will always be my go to place post movies and round of shopping spree in the near future...Kudos to the staff for their service🤟🏻

We had dinner on 31st night, asked for the specials and CHEF GIRI came over to our table and recommend smoked chicke kebabs, crab papad and mutton lal mansh in nalli style. The mutton was so tender and juicy and the smoked chicken was just so yummy, i would recommend anyone to go for the smoked chicken it will just hit your taste buds. Chef GIRI i would say is just a wonderful chef and the staff was very courteous, even though it was the New Year night they were serving us in a very well mannered. A 5+ 🌟 rating.

Had buffet lunch here with colleagues from office. The food was the best and seemed cooked with care. A lot of verity in starters and delicious desserts. In each, meat was tender and perfectly cooked with the right amount of spices. Also everything was served hot directly to our table. Staff were courteous and took care of us very well. I’d definitely suggest this place for great food.
This place is in VR Bengaluru Mall, on the 3rd floor. Excellent food, great service, ambience is nice, overall a good place to have food.
Recommend this to be tried, if you ever pass by, though the cost is above moderate but it’s worth the price.

While VR mall seems to have fewer shop open i am glad to see Salt available for dining. Had been there for lunch. Sat out in the balacony so we could enjoy the view of the passing metro trains. The in side ambiance is wonderful. The food was super tasty. Had ordered the veg sizzler platter and chicken platter along with dal makani and two moctails. Great service and wonderful tasty food. Approx cost without alcohol rs 1000 per head. For a great doing experience do check out Salt.

We visited today for buffet lunch with a visitor from Netherlands. The food was average and service was good.
May be they can improve on the quality of indian breads.

The place is really good. I had been with my family for dinner. The chicken starters were good. You need to order mutton biryani earlier as it takes 20 mins. Service is also good. It has both indoor and outdoor seating.

We went to SALT for lunch after a long day and expected a good experience because of the ratings and reviews. The place is well maintained and has a very good ambience. It has a mezzanine floor built inside which divides the place into lower level and upper level.
The only thing which I didn't like was the response from the waiters there. They were least bothered about some tables. I don't know if they were busy or something. My order was taken after I made multiple requests and eventually had to give threats of leaving the restaurant.
Apart from all these, the food was good. Taste and spiciness up to the mark. I am assuming this was probably a very incidental experience. Maybe next time the service won't be that bad.
I have totally become a fan of this restaurant. I visited this restaurant thrice in two weeks .. it is amazing !! My most favourite is Mutton Galouti Kabab ( it just melts in the mouth). The chicken ghee roast is also amazing..and so is the Malabar parota along with mutton rongan josh gravy.
What ever I tried here is so good, also my favourite dessert is old monk bread pudding with extra old monk flamboyant shot.
The restaurant has live music in the evening and seating arrangement in open as well as inside... AMAZING !!! Also try filter coffee creme brulee😀
Went to Salt this Friday evening . We didn’t have a reservation but still we were given a table . We could see that there were reservations for big groups already . The servers and staff was extremely courteous & attentive . The food was good .. we loved their melony vegetables curry & crispy baby corn . We do like Salt restaurants as the food tastes awesome ! Would go back here again
I recently visited this restaurant and had a great experience. The food was delicious and of great quality. It was freshly prepared with decent quantity and smelled amazing. The options were good and there was something for everyone. The price was a bit on the higher side, but the quality of food was worth it. The only setback was the service, which needs to be improved, and the sitting space was a bit tight. But overall, it was a great place for lunch and dinner with family. I would highly recommend it.
