First of all the location is great and ambience is superb. Staff can be a little more polite and listen to customers. A little opportunity for fast service. Coming to food, taste is exceptional, pappu is a must have here. We had ordered veg meals and it was a satisfying one.
Nagarjuna is a great place for Andra meals. Great quality and service .
Definitely the best place for South Indian meals and the Dal is to die for , we ordered chicken fry along with meals and it's spicy and definitely tasty. Worth a try for Andhra cusine lovers .

Food: Best mutton biryani in Bangalore. I could comfortably eat the mutton with spoon, it was so soft. We had Nagarjuna special chicken roast, which was also super delicious. Had Andhra special Chili chicken which was ok, probably it was authentic preparation and I am not a big fan of the taste of this dish.Β
Service: Staffs are extremely courteous. Very prompt service.
Ambiance: Not a fine dine place of course. A nice hygienic place to have authentic dishes with your family/friends.
Location: Double road, Indira Nagar - easy to spot.

Been here Manny times only for their authentic mutton biriyani... It's haevenly mark my words...π... With mutton biriyani we had naan and paneer butter masala too .. π€©
Decent Biryani. Slight less in quantity than expected. Taste wise good. Felt the hype around this is not worth it.

I went there wit bunch of friends and I usually order mutton Biriyani coz thts the only thing I like there and tht day we had ordered Kulcha and chicken gravy which was awesome π if u go there don't forget to try kulcha wit chicken gravy
Everything about this place is love!
This place is always super crowded but still worth waiting in the queue for getting a spot to sit. I had come here for lunch and had ordered the andhra meals. The food is served on fresh banana leaves. The andhra meal consists of Rice, dal, chutney, sabji(carrot, channa and beans), rasam, sambhar, butter milk, super fresh curd, pappad and lot of ghee. The food is absolutely great and you get to take unlimited servings. This place is worth trying if you are craving for South Indian styled meals or even biryani. This place isn't too harsh on your pocket.
This place is awesome for hyderabadi cusine. Good tastey food.But when it gets crowdy,,staff tends to forget what we ordered exta and we ends up waiting and following up few times to get what we want..i advise managenent to allocate some bistanders exclusively for areas..Taste of food is enjoyable
I can eat the meals here everyday
I've not eaten this much in a day in my life (this was after two whole meals) and it was just 2 pm. Pure-as-the-ghee-they-liberally-slathered happiness. Nagarjuna's legendary unlimited bhojan thali attracts all crowds and a wait list is the usual. A few components :
Parippu podi : Powdered lentils (Podi) ground with chillies and spices. @hashpot gave me a useful tip, mix some ghee into it till it is a firm paste.
Miriya Chaaru : A light, but spicy rasam
Chukka kura pappu: A spicy version of dal with few greens
Vankaya Kothamira Kaaram : A brinjal/eggplant preparation
A host of pickled / salted components like salty dried red chili
All with ghee'd up rice, another version of dal, a wonderful salty/spicy gourd subzi with peanuts and curd for your palate.
Dessert was a sabudana payasam (sweet sago pudding with roasted cashews)
Everything with a very fizzy lime soda πππΆ
Tip : if there are 2-3 of you get a side of their popular and mad hot guntur chicken.
Great collection of andhara style food
What's fantastic about the food here is that it's delicious and consistently delicious. You're absolutely assured of the taste, quality and quantity. I've been a fan of the biryani and Andhra chilli chicken for the past decade.
I visited this place for lunch with friends Shravya Raju .This place is essentially good for south Indians that too non veg lovers. However I liked nagarjuna's special chicken curry and mutton Biryani were heavenly! The ambience and the service is too good.

I for one take my biryani seriously. Very seriously. And if you do too then you have hit the jackpot with this place. The biryani is flavourful and fragrant and it's reputation is well deserved. If you are not a biryani person then this place does justice to its meal and other gravies. Be prepared to leave this place with a stuffed belly. The only downer is it its not a fancy place but therein lies it's charm
Visited the iconic Nagarjuna Restaurant in Bangalore. Lunch costed 215 including taxes. But when someone serves you piping hot rice and ghee with pappy podi, gongura, avakaya, great sambar, charu with yummy sweet curd what else ye dil mange?, Mugambo Khush Hua.
Yesterday we, me and my fried, went to this restaurant. As yesterday was holiday , it was very very rush. But, our goodness, we immediately got seats as we were only two.
Ordered veg meals. It was very tasty.
We ordered chicken fry. It was spoiled. We asked them for changing the chicken fry. They accepted and they provided Guntur chicken instead.
There approach is very nice and friendly staff.
Parking facility is available for both four wheelers and two wheelers.
Baby chairs is must have in every restaurant.

One of the best places to have Andhra Meals in Bangalore. Amazing varieties and fulfilling portions. The food was lip smacking and the courteousness of the staff made the experience better. Only con is that the waiting time is long in weekends.
One of the best places to head for some chicken biriyani. The chilly chicken is another delicacy that needs to be tried here. Pocket friendly place with super fast service. A pleasure to be at.

Very nice place to experience some authentic Andhra food. The service was very quick and prompt, and the waiters were very nice. I had tried the meals, and it was very good. There were so many different flavors and different things that were served, and it was delicious. The table and surrounding was slightly unclean, but everything else was great.
We had ordered veb biryani, chicken biryani and mutton biryani. The taste was good. Service and ambience is also good. Overall the place is a nice place to visit.
It is a great place to dine in to feel the taste of spice of andhra we had a very good time spent in nagarjuna and the staffs were very friendly and taken care of our table well and good....
If want to have meals with high ambiance than this is the right place. Quality of food is excellent. Biryani and starters spread is limited. Request to add egg biryani in the menu.

Went for dinner with family. It is served on banana leaf. Meal is average andhra style. Sambhar was ok. Go for mutton biryani. It has very tender mutton pieces with an amazing aroma of meat as well as spices and that makes it flavoursome. This is my favorite item of Nagarjuna. We also ordered paneer butter masala which was average too. Try mutton keema with naan. It is very spicy and you will love it.
A must visit place if you travel to Bangalore.
It's pocket friendly too! You just get to taste all the Andhra food in their Andhra Thali and staff is courteous too.
I never miss a chance to visit this place whenever I am in Bangalore. There is absolutely nothing which is below par here. The Mutton in the Biryani is falling off the bone, the dry mutton with curry leaves is the best I have had. Special mention for the chilli chicken which is a novelty here. Also tried the prawns this time and they were decent. Must must visit for Andhra food! Just love it ! ππ»πππ½ππ½

The place is know for Andhra meals. Went here after a long time. Very decent food, espically the dal and rice. Meals are unlimited. I personally feel at times the sides are below average. But when you feel like having a heavy meal of rice...this is a good place. We had chilli chicken and omelet. It was good. The place becoms crowded during peak hours espically lunch. We went at around 2 and the place was pretty empty.
This was long due in the check list . There are multiple locations for Nagarjuna and we went to the one in indranagar. They also have a dedicated space for parking. It has 3 floor of Seating so waiting will be less. The food is really good and there service is also very nice we had veg thali and chili chicken , pepper fry prawn and mutton fry all the dishes were nice and I highly recommend this place
Best food from andhra style..
We had unlimited veg Meals for both lunch and dinner. they served 3 side dish, sambar, rasam, buttermilk, curd and sweet. The special purupu podi and unlimited ghee. Wonder full taste.

Went on a Sunday Afternoon, there were full rush had to wait for 20 minutes to get a table. Post getting table ordering took 10-15 min. But the taste of the food was delicious. If you are someone who like to eat Andhra style meals or food , I would recommend this place to you. They have a good variety of veg and non veg here. Parking for 2 wheelers is there and Valet parking for car is also there. Please calculate your time and go there to enjoy.
For vegetarian it's a heaven , I had veg thali here and it tastes amazingly good. Service is also very fast . You can definitely try Andhra style cuisine here.
Excellent Andhra style biryanis. Both mutton and chicken biryani were well made. Not too spicy and the meat tender and flavorful. The quantity was sufficient for 1 person in the Zomato delivered order. It was neatly and securely packed.

Only problem is from inside the restaurant that is ground floor to first floor there is no lift.
They have ground floor first floor and second floor for dining.
So from ground floor to first floor we have to climb stairs or take a stress and from first floor to second floor if we want we can continue with the stairs or take the list as per our convenience.

The restaurant is on 2 floors. I went on 1st May and it was crowded. I didn't have to wait for my table but if you are coming after 1pm then you might have to.
Food is pretty decent and prices are a bit high. I ordered Veg and Non veg biryani which was served instantly. Biryani is not that spicy which was good for us.

I recently visited Indranagar Nagarjuna and I really liked their meals. I had a veg meal which was tasty and came with unlimited servings. Although we also ordered some mushroom starters and PBM which wasn't that good.
Tbh it wasn't up to the hype but it was decent. I have eaten their biryani which I really liked. The atmosphere is always good at Nagarjuna but it's always crowded too ( keep that in mind) . The service was very good, it was soo good that it became a bit annoying tooπ
