Everything at rangashankara feels live and real. Watched my first theatre live show here. Try to attend the novel based drama and musical events. The experimental scripts may disappoint peoples . Cafe inside the rangashankara is good. Most of the items are very costly and the quantity is not at all up to the mark.

Nice place to see the plays here. A must place to visit. Seatings, lighting, the stage is very well placed. Strictly no mobile phone zone inside the theatre. Volunteers here constantly check on people using phone and warn them with a laser light so not to disturb the other audiences. Disciplined. Very well maintained. There is a lift facility here which makes it easy for the Senior citizens, specially abled. They have an amazing Anju’s Cafe on the ground floor that’s serves snacks. Their sabudana vada is cherry on the cake. Good place to converse. The bookshop offers a very good collection of Kannada and English books.

One of the best theatre for play in Bangalore, Every one can here the sound without any disturbances, lighting and seating arrangements are excellent, full hall is air conditioned and comfortable to sit and watch the play. I always preferred to watch drama at this venue. There is cafeteria and book store in ground floor, Kannada and English literature and novels books are available for purchase. No dedicated parking available, bike can be parked n front of the hall beside road, for car you go on into street and park somewhere.

Theatre is a captivating form of art where live performances unfold on a stage. The atmosphere in a theatre encompasses the mood, lighting, and overall ambiance, enhancing the audience's experience. Drama, an integral part of theatre, involves storytelling through compelling and emotional narratives. A great place to witness drama in theatres depends on personal preferences. I watched Dr. Shivaram Karanth's story, "Chomana Dudi," with fantastic acting, and the story is deeply ingrained in my mind.

One of the best theatres with world class acoustic. Very vibrant place. Every one can here the sound without any disturbances, lighting and seating arrangements are excellent. Full hall is air conditioned and comfortable to sit and watch the play. I always preferred to watch drama at this venue. They organise plays for kids also. Must visit place. Its a different world. Tickets booked via book my show are to be collected at the entrance counter on left hand side. You also buy tickets at the counter itself. Seating is on first come basis. They have an amazing Anju"s cafe on the ground floor that encourages conversations between the cast and the crew and the audience. Qmbience of this cafe is good. Serves yummy sabudana vadas and chai as you wait for the gates to open. The bookshop is a gem that offers visitors more than they hoped for. Goood collection of Kannada and English books. This is my go to place for a relaxed evening.

The best theatre in bangalore. I have heard they have a quality check process for every play that is done here. So we can randomly decide to go watch a play without researching who is doing it because rangashankara has always had plays which are amazing. The theatre acoustics is too good and will help you get into the play very early. Coming to their cafe, a lot of the items here are overpriced. I love their Sabudana Vada(which is still a little overpriced) and I usually take a coffee with it. The ambience of this cafe is good. They also have a library which has good collections of books.

An excellent theater. Painstakingly created. Nice Cafe. I watched two plays on two consecutive days. Managed to find the seat in the middle and closer to the stage. Could get a clear view, and the lighting and acoustics were very good. I enjoyed being there. The theater is serving the enthusiasts well as it was envisaged.

I loved the ambience of this place and there is a small library for the book lovers to read and the play was amazing. The artists are amazing with their acting and scripts. It is better to reach 15 mins before the show starts so that you can occupy the middle row seats for a complete view and *Strictly late comers will not be allowed to enter once the play starts*

This is a brilliant place and has never disappointed in the last 6 years. I love the vibe of the place. They take art seriously - right from the initial announcement asking you to switch off your phone to the restaurant on the ground floor. The theater itself is small, but gives a personal feel with great acoustics and nearness to the stage. Have visited 100s of times and will continue to do so.

An stage with nice auditorium and facilities like rest rooms. Seating is on first come basis. Tickets booked via book my show are to be collected at the entrance counter on left hand side. You also buy tickets at the counter itself. Normally they allow you to enter auditorium 20 to 30 minutes before the play starts.

Ranga Shankara is simply amazing! I had the pleasure of visiting this performing arts center in Bangalore and was blown away by the experience. The first thing you notice when you step into Ranga Shankara is the beautiful architecture and design. The attention to detail is impeccable and creates a warm and inviting atmosphere for theater-goers. The theater itself is state-of-the-art with perfect acoustics and lighting - truly a world-class stage. What is even more impressive than the physical environment is the quality of performances. Ranga Shankara hosts an array of local and international plays, concerts, and festivals that showcase the best in performing arts. The caliber of talent that graces their stage is simply outstanding.
