Best paneer biryani in town .....my all time fav ..... They serve best paneer biryani in city.... Wenever I visit jayanagar .... Meghna's is compulsory......waiting for dine- in to reopen
The place was amazing. Reay good food. Especially biryani. But very crowded.
The biryani course is packed into 5 parts, the rice, the masala mix, the raita & the gravy. It is all in a cloth bag & feels hygienic. The taste is really good and one biryani is a filling meal for two. I am very happy with my experience and will continue ordering from here 😀
No words to describe their wonderful biryani!! A must try to experience it for yourself. Prices are truly worth for the quantity and taste provided!!
Meghana Foods in terms of food just below the best and service is good. The food is everything but sixty percent of the dishes I have ever tasted lack that taste and aroma.
Ordered panner biryani for Sunday lunch was fully satisfied 😋
Quantity of 1 biryani served 2 person
Biryani was hot after the delivery and the packing was good and hygiene.
The place is only for biryani lovers
The best place to have biryani in Bangalore.
We order every week 🙈🙈
Namaskara🙏
We had visited this, has due to this covid situation we couldn't dine in ... so we had to take away
As we took away and had food in home it was still fresh and hot
It was so fulfilling and was very delicious
They give good quantity of food
Its cost is less, below 1000rs for 3 serves
Need to give a try
It is commonly famous for Biryani, especially panner Biryani
So ppl do give a try

Love Meghana foods....Love ur Paneer Biryani🔥👍
Biryani tastes wonderful here.....✌️
2 mins silence for those,
Who never tried MEGHNA's BIRYANI.
Best Biryani recipe ever tasted.
Love it, like it, order it.
well what can i write about this place. Tons and tons of memories, amazing food, availability of restaurant across Bangalore, the list goes on and on. Best restaurant.
One of the best biriyanis I've ever had is Meghana's. The Biryani here is quite an Andra style, not exactly the spicy Andra style. I'm basically non-vegetarian. So I like all non-veg biriyanis here.
although the biriyani here is not the traditional hyderabadi dum biriyani but instead its dum biriyani rice with spicey chicken topped on top of the rice. Meghanas chicken biryani is a must try here, and the kebab which I ordered was so nice well cooked..
overall best experience loved it...
Taste:- 5/5
Packing:- 5/5
Well well well what can i write about this place. Tons and tons of memories, amazing food, availability of restaurant across Bangalore, the list goes on and on. I still remember, My friends and I were ganging up to go to this place just to challenge each other on completion of 1 complete Biriyani. Let me tell you even after years of having fun with my friends the taste of Biriyani stays the same. Everytime I have Biriyani from this place it takes me back to those days.
Only reason I am not writing how the food actually tastes is because you can read any other review here and you can get to know how delicious it is. I just wanted to share my experience and memories with this franchise. Thanks for making part of my life enjoyable.
Yummiest chicken biryani ever I had in namma Bangalore, Price is worth for quantity and quality too.!!!! Amazing taste they have carried till date, A family oriented restaurant and even young people likes the way they treat their customers.!! Amazing keep it up. Trust me Bangalorians must taste once.
Hey there, Wishful Deviants,
.
.
Today, I am going to take you down my memory lane. Hands up, if you are a biryani fan! My first interactions with Biryani began when I landed in India and drove from Bangalore to Hyderabad.
.
.
Biryani stands out as a wonder of its own, hailing from the moghuls, this dish has its roots in many varied cultures. And the beauty of it lies in the fact that it has evolved and picked up the best of new hands, transforming in a dish of history and culture morphing into one.
.
.
I still find myself sitting against the oven, drooling as my father left in a huge pot of mutton dum biryani for 5 looong hours. The pleasure of accompanying him to the market at 5 am on a Sunday, picking out the best meat and coming back home to a ritual of cleaning, prepping, assembling and finally, sending an entire pot of love to brew in an oven still gives me the shivers.
.
.
Everywhere I go, I make it a point to hunt for the best biryani. You see my bachelor life doesn't gift me with the time to conjure such wonders and somewhere I feel this is such a collective activity, it must be done with your loved ones. So squad, this is a hint for you - it's time! 🤣 Anyways folks, that's exactly how I stumbled upon #meghanasbiryani. I've always enjoyed pulling the meat off its bone and letting the juices flow into my biryani rice then thrusting my fingers in and gently mixing this concoction of history & culture together but meghana's biryani is a little more hatke than I knew biryani could be. Their best biryani is served with rice and boneless chicken that is so flavorsome, it feels like a starter of its own! With a slight gravy of its own, I'd suggest tossing out your cutlery and going #hardcoredesi on this beauty, if you are licky enough and get the chance to visit the restaurant, you are in for a long wait that is totally worth it. When anna balances 10 biryani bowls on one tray and gracefully slides it on your table and plonks in raita and gravy, you know he's making a statement, one that the biryani wants, it's simply demanding your attention and ready to take you for a trip like never before!
.
What's on my plate:
- Meghana's chicken boneless biryani
- lemon chicken (cause I am extra like that)
P.S my friends from everywhere head to #meghanasbiryani with their suitcases as soon as they land cause yes, guys that's how good this baby is.
One of the best biriyanis I've ever had is Meghana's. The Biryani here is quite an Andra style, not exactly the spicy Andra style. I'm basically non-vegetarian. So I like all non-veg biriyanis here. In vegetarians, paneer is really good. But aloo Dum Biryani is quite ok. The non-veg starters are amazing here..... It has that unique taste in all the dishes which makes it an outstanding restaurant.
too much rush
better to take the food takeaway
in weekends you have to wait outside for your turn for the dine in
Maintained the same taste over the past years. Their paneer biryani is outstanding. No on can beat them. Portions are good for two ppl to eat.
So meghana foods is one of those joints in bangalore which everyone adores for its biriyanis, although the biriyani here is not the traditional hyderabadi dum biriyani but instead its dum biriyani rice with spicey chicken topped on top of the rice. Meghanas chicken biryani is a must try here, if you are a vegetarian you have paneer, mushrooms, potatoes and vegetable biriyani (to call this a biriyani or not is debatable 😝) the taste is amazing and drool worthy. Pricing of the biriyanis is at around 250-350, but considering the quantity and quality the price is justified. My only negative remark is about the mutton kheema biriyani, which is bad compared to the other dishes
on offer here. Overall its a great place, great biriyani.
Ambience 🛋🖼
There is very little restaurant decor you can observe because the restaurant is crowded all the time. Make sure you get there during the opening minutes or elder you need to wait the dreadful queue.
What’s up for grabs 🍽🥢
- Mushroom 65
- Chilly chicken, Andhra style
The biriyani portion is quite a lot of one person. Better to have 1/2. The below three biriyanis has the same masala mix, just the different main ingredient. So if you are planning to order them together, you are just catching the same fish twice. But do order atleast one of them. It’s their specialty!
- Panner biriyani
- Chicken boneless biriyani
- Prawns biriyani
Service 🤵🏻🍾
Since they know how busy their restaurant will get in the next three hours, they know all about efficient service. So you will get your food in no time. Unless you order tomato curry and dal fry.
Cost ₹₹₹
Bangalore loves Meghana Biryani. More than Meghana Foods, people know it by Meghana Biryani. Crowded most of the times, this restaurant is hugely popular among the locals. The biryani here is unique of it's own kind. They have lots of options in Biryani. The hot seller is their Meghana Spl. Biryani which comes with boneless chicken pieces tossed in their secret masala. They use Basmathi long grained rice for preparing Biryani. The chicken pieces are perfect and succulent. The biryani is served with raita and gravy. Other things you must try here are Andhra chicken gravies and kababs. Do try their Andhra meals as well. They have nice interiors with large seating capacity. The staff and service is up to the mark. It makes it a must visit place in Bangalore. Biryani lovers you would love this place. Happy eating!
Probably the best biryani in town. Options of veg, paneer, chicken and mutton available. The biryani is spicy and served on your table as hot as it can get. They also have the typical south Indian meals which are very tasty. They don't take reservations but you can expect to wait for 10-15 min on a weekend even though it's pretty crowded as the service is fantastic. No waste of time. Delivery and take-away available. A must try if you're a biryani lover!
• Yes, Vegetarian Biryani •
I have had many Vegetarian Pulaos and Vegetarian Biryani and Briyani (those of you who know both of these exist-HI5 👌). But Meghanas Paneer Biryani with that Raitha and Salan comes close to none as uski baath hi kuch aur hai 🤯.
From the Rice to the Soft Paneer soaked in those veggies and masala, beautifully marinated and cooked under that pressure to release those exotic aroma and add flavour to the plain rice above. It's a craft in a bowl presented to you with it's two best friends-Raitha and Salan, who will just help you appreciate it more and more until you can die a Happy Biryani death soon after 🤣.
So all in all, when in Bangalore, Meghanas is a must for everyone and yessss for vegetarians tooooooo.
#vegetarian #biryani
Best biryani in India. I love it much more than Paradise in Hyderabad.
I wasn't a biryani lover and still I'm not but I won't deny if some offers me Meghana's biryani. Meghana's is completely different and that's why it is love. It's ghee leg roast has some other taste level and I would surely suggest you people to give it a try. Even their Veg Biryani's doesn't disappoints. It's a worth trying place🥳🥳
Ordered egg masala ,egg chilli and the taste was good. Satisfied

One of my favourite places in Bangalore for their briyani. I really don't like their special signature one as much as their normal chicken biryani along with raita and their delicious masala
So i visited Meghana foods recently along with my colleagues and tried andhra cuisine for the very first time. We ordered boneless chicken biriyani, lemon chicken, dragon chicken, mutton masala and fresh lime soda. The biriyani is worth trying and so is the mutton masala. I felt that the dragon chicken could have been better. Rest if talking about ambiance, it's quite pleasant. And above all this place is an absolute value for money. Must try when in Bangalore!!
All time favourite place for Biryani! Great staff! Amazing food!
The staff were too generous. And unlike other places, they provided onion
I have been going to this place for almost a decade now and I thought It's fair to drop a review. Most importantly, consistency in the quality and taste is impressive. The only problem is the wait time in the peak hours.
The best lemon chicken I have ever had. Neither too sour nor too fade. Just right
Meghana Foods had been my one spot solution for all my biryani cravings. I have been here many a times in past 6 years with my friends and also ordered many a times from Zomato. I would just say one thing if you are in Bangalore and haven't tried biriyani from this amazing place... You are really missing out on something...
When it's comes to best Biriyani in Bangalore. Meghana foods stands first, it's superb mouth watering Biriyani.egg chilly is must try
One of the best restaurants in Bangalore. Excellent food, great service and a good atmosphere.
The only thing I hate is the parking which is none, you have to find a place on the street and it can get difficult during peak hours with many no parking zones.
The variety, quality and quantity of the food is amazing for the price which is decent for all the services.
Good packaging for extra food takeaways.
Had Meghana Foods' famous Chicken boneless biryani, Guntur chicken (Sunday special) and Butter Roti for our last sunday lunch with my family. The taste was unparalleled. It is a must-try for biryani lovers. The customer service was excellent too.
The car parking was a bit challenging as it was a peak hour. However, you could park in the adjacent streets.
Food & Taste: 5/5
Customer service: 5/5
Service time: Food gets served in <10mins since placing your order (even during peak times)
I have been to this place couple of times and the food has been excellent all the times, most of the dishes I tried have been great. The ambience it good, but always crowded.
The dishes are not very spicy like the regular Andhra style. Overall, a good dining experience.
Food was great. I tried chicken biriyani and meghana special biriyani, and the special one felt more tasty. There is waiting time and depending on rush, the wait may last 30min or more. As for service, staffs are there to give to required help and are very nice to approach.
Situated in Jayanagar, this dining spot provides a flavorful experience, although it can get quite busy during peak hours. When we arrived around noon on a holiday, the place was already showing signs of popularity, with a steadily growing queue due to reservations.
Our choice was the Meghana Special Biryani, priced at approximately 330 rupees. While the taste was undeniably delightful, it leans slightly towards the costlier side. The portion size, however, is quite adequate, making it suitable for two diners to enjoy.
For biryani enthusiasts, this place is certainly worth a visit. The flavors are appealing, although they may not reach the level of being truly extraordinary. If you're in the mood for a satisfying biryani experience and don't mind the price, it's worth giving it a try.
Always in love with this Meghana foods. It's a must visit restaurant. They have an inexplicable flavour in their biriyani. P
Also do try their Lemon chicken.
Well know place of Bengaluru to have some finger licking biryani 😋. Plenty of space available for dine in but still remains full on weekends. Their service is fast but some time unresponsive as well they are not able to pay proper attention may be due to too much crowd. We have tried their roti and sabzi also it is also yummy if you don't like their biryani you can try that too.
The meghana special biryani was so delicious and the meat so tender and flavorful that I will recommend this to all biryani lovers especially hyderabadi and Andhra style biryani.
One of the best biryani place is Bangalore. Spicy and very tasty biryani.
For vegetarian - veg biryani, Aloo dum biryani and Panner biryani. Panner biryani being the best.
Also North Indian food is descent. Try their tomato curry.
Very good staff . Digital payment accepted.
One of the best non-veg restaurants in Bangalore. No need to say, food quality, taste, service everything is good. Have more starters & less briyani..if u r allergic to more spicy foods, do mention the waiter while ordering.. No specific parking lot..space available in nearby roadsides
Tasted Paneer Biryani, Chilli Mushroom, Blue lime juice
Paneer Biryani (4.5/5) ⭐
The firm and fresh flavours are full of rice. The aroma of the biryani just makes the vibes right around you. You Biryani and nothing, enjoy the rice, enjoy the flavours.
I hope this taste will be constant in the future also.
Chilli Mushroom (4/5) ⭐
The mushroom was perfectly fried and the flavours were pitch perfect. I enjoyed the mushroom thoroughly.
Blue Lime Juice (4/5) ⭐
The blue 💙 glass of juice. It was fresh and unique taste wise. I liked it very much.
First time visited here for chicken biryani after so many peoples suggestions about biryani, so I ordered boneless chicken biryani, it was amazing and chicken pieces are very smooth and tasty.
In starter u ordered chicken kabak and chicken chilli, really chicken pieces were too tender and soft so I really enjoyed food .
About time I visited here almost at 12:30am night, so they serves food and open till 1.30 am in the late night.
Best place for Family and Party.
Amazing food and always one of my favourite places to eat out. Nati chicken Biryani always stays the best, but too spicy. The rice quantity kind of feels.reduced, but I guess this was one off.
Good place , don’t try chilly items, very spicy, biryani and starters are good, ambience needs to improve and parking space needs to be provided and the washroom is congested
Kalmi chicken is the best starter…Service was a bit hurry burry kind of ((((….The taste was good overall…
•Today we ordered chicken lollipop and chicken chilly peri peri as a starter and after that chicken boneless biryani, and chicken bone biryani as a main course and jal jeera as beverage.
• Quality and Taste- 4/5
• We were there on Sunday, it is too crowded you have to wait in que for table.
Just like every other Meghana Foods outlet.
This one is pretty crowded even during the weekdays.
There isn't available parking. Need to park your vehicles on roadside.
Various South Indian dishes available.
Has limited vegetarian options, but good ones.
Good ambience and good service.
Panner thikka was very nyc every peace of panner is toasted with tomato capcicum and onion is good Finley fried and garnish with some coriander leaves 😋
