Had been here for lunch on a Saturday. We were welcomed and shown our table immediately. The ambiance is very peaceful. It's a house, which belongs to one of the nieces of Mysore royal family, converted into a cozy restaurant. Our orders were taken by Chef Shakeel, who upon our request, recommended a starter from "Feast India co", whose seating area is merged with Fat Buddha. He suggested us "Galawat ke kabab" - vegetarian version which was amazing. It simply melts in your mouth, just like how our chef mentioned while helping us choose our dish. For main course, we ordered Thai red curry which was full of flavors. We had requested them to make it thick and rich and they delivered exactly how we wanted it. Coming to the staff, Chef Shakeel was an absolute delight. He's the most welcoming and gracious host that we've seen in a very long time. We shall definitely be going back.
We suddenly visit this place with my friend. We had glass of wine and some chicken s. It was great experience. But there is no music
The place looks really good and has a decent seating capacity. The staff was very polite and got us everything pretty quickly. The food was good but not amazing. One dish was bland but overall the food was fine. The only downside was the price. 8 of us ended up paying close to 6.5k which was quite expensive.

Another experience ordering in....we had the Veg Hakka Noodles, Veg Burnt garlic fried rice, Sauteed Chicken in Chili Oyster Sauce and Koengs Chili Chicken....I would rate the food fairly good and right among the top Indo Chinese restaurants in Bangalore. The portions of noodles and rice were small and we loved the veg burnt garlic fried rice and the chili chicken. I would certainly go back...
Had heard great things about the place, but honestly ive had better. Ambience is amazing, staff is extremely helpful, and it is well located aswell. Was a bit disappointed with the food though.
I love your Fish in Malay style, over and over again. It is a cozy place and now with both the restaurants that you are running, it gives us more variety to try. Also your staff is very friendly, super thumbs up there !
I would love to come more often if the prices were 20 - 30 % less :)
Courteous staff (Nivaas was the waiter at my table and he did a nice job) . Quick meal preparation (The main course is ready even before you finish your soup. The dessert arrives even before you finish your mains). Soothing ambiance.
Must try for vegetarians: Manchow soup, grilled vegetable satay, and Crispy vegetables in sauce (Order this only if you don't mind oily food).
Cons: Caramel custard is not recommended.
Food for the soul!
Personal favorite is the Man chow soup and the spring rolls!
Just the right amount of flavour in any dish that you order.
Cozy enough for a gloomy evening or dinner and a lovely place for lunch as well!
A recommend for sure!!
A very calm and peaceful restaurant. AMBIENCE is great. Manchow soup was great. Fat buddha Shangai rice and noodles combo was delicious. Must try buddh berry mocktail.

Food, place and the location perfect for a nice family dinner r a couple dinner who like to enjoy the Chinese and Thai food with some nice service and quite surrounding.
Must try the chilli chicken and the Fat Buddha mix if u ok with rice and noodles with some grave in one bowl.
Overall a nice quiet place which u will enjoy with dinner.
A good place to try some chinese food. The singapore noodles and the garlic fried rice were good. Prices are a bit high. Could visit once for the good food.
Although the place is at the heart of the city, it is away from the hustle of the city.
It is a calm place. A place where you can have long dinner conversations with decent low music in the background. The staff is courteous.
Good Chinese. Good but not great.
Feedback: Resturant should work on the presentation of the food when it is served.
Let me start by saying that we found the place as one of the finest oriental restaurant in the city. Both my husband and I are huge fans of Pan-Asian food and we were delighted by the food served here. The restaurant is located on a inner road from the main road, hence is not easily visible from the main road. Neatly put up garden is at the entrance, the restaurant is set up in a traditional Chinese restaurant indoors style. What led to an amazing experience for us is ofcourse the food which starts from the diverse menu options to the delicious taste. We ordered for steam wontons in ginger soya, Wok braised fish in chili bean sauce and burnt garlic chicken fried rice to go with it. Wontons were luscious and the sauce & bell peppers added to its flavor. The combination of burnt garlic chicken fried rice and fish dish was delectable and had an aesthetic appearance plus an aromatic flavor. Its a place that we would like to visit again.
The ambience of the restaurant is really good with well served Thai and Chinese food!
They have a friendly staff and cool place for the long lost friends to meet!!
American pan fried hakka noodles got to be my favorite since the day I got in here!
Fat Buddha had been round for a long time and are known for their ambience in addition to the food they serve.
Asian cuisine focused around Chinese, they are heavy in one's palette as well their wallet.
Food- 4/5. Great food and impressive plating
Ambience- 4/5. The ambience is great. Looks beautiful
Staff- 4/5. Quite courteous but could improve on their promptness.
A very laid back place pretty close to the heart of the city. The first thing I noticed is the serene ambiance around this place. It has the charm of old Bangalore and the greenery that comes with it.
It was a Thursday afternoon and the restaurant was almost vacant barring a couple of tables.
Coming to the food, the thick mushroom soup was outstanding followed by the Satay and the Thai chicken. The Singapore noodles and the vegetarian Buddha's delight were also decent. I have a feeling that the starters were tastier than the main dishes however that should not be a let down. The food quality is pretty good and the plates served decent quality.
Fat Buddha not only serves Asian cuisine but also Indian delicacies.
Nice cosy environment for lunch with Decent price. Food was yum and service was prompt. Reach early to avoid afternoon rush as location is near to offices. They serve wine as well..
Petty quit and nice place for Chinese food .a must try is chicken celantro soup . Good place for couples for a date . Nothing bad about this place cost for 2 will be around 2k.
Nice ambience but entrance was bit scary. You have to cross a abandoned house to reach the reach the restaurant. And no one is there to assist you in the entrance. Whatever nice decor inside but tables are closely joined with the chairs which may lead you to jump inside of it.
Ordered for a LEMON CILANTRO SOUP AND CRISPY VEGETABLE SAUTÉ. Soup was fine not that hot, how much it should be if it freshly made, crispy vegetables reminds me some roadside stall, where people fries the vegetables from long ago and just sauté with some sauce upon receiving the order, I called their floor manager (a bald guy) the report about the same, but failed to convince him that it was not up to the mark, might be some other reasons too. That restaurant was quite empty, that might make the staff that lazy. Their manager was very proactive. Food was good in taste
The place is serving great Chinese food. We tried the crab meat, rice with lamb curry and were delighted with the taste , the service and the presentation. It also has a lovely ambience and the garden outside gives you a Zen feel !
The food is finger licking good👌🏻both veg and non veg.Their service/servers are very polite and well mannered.ambiance is great and center of the city.I could just spend the whole day with my friends and folks at this place.Must visit.
The food was out of the world. As a non vegetarian it is very difficult to get impressed with vegetarian food - but this place took the vegetarian food to a whole new level. Everything that we ordered was JUST WOW.
The staff and management were very kind and friendly. The ambience is very soothing.
The staff recommended us with a Thai tofu starter and a North Indian cauliflower and pineapple starter and a paneer curry which was scrumptious.
Visited there for lunch. Nicely done quaint place. ordered veg fried rice with vegetable chili garlic sauce. Both tasted very well. Had a satisfying lunch.

Liked the place and food reminds of old style Chinese food at Bangalore...
This place serves the old style Chinese and Thai food, thai food to a limitation..
This place has a limited seating and parking nor available at the restaurant place.
Soup is good and starters suggested by them were good...
Rice and noodles have worked out good...but the jasmine rice or sticky rice would have been better for green curry..
Would definitely visit again...enjoyed
Came with my mother to celebrate her Birthday. Though the indoor seating is not that fancy or great- looks like a couple of seaters with a bar counter. But the staff there are very courteous and the food is exceptional. Its quite reasonable for the pockets as well.
A full course meal for two that included a soup, a starter, rice and main course and dessert cost us about 1500Inr. Plus the food being tasty was a real blessing for the evening.
Would definitely come over again.
Superb food, superb service and happy taste buds! Only one drawback, the place could be improved in various ways. The decor is not finished at many places but apart from all that, the food here is delicious! Thank you guys!
I am from Hyderabad. Have been here for a couple of times. The food is good and the staff are well behaved. It's bit congested but the overall experience is good.
First things first... apologies for delayed review...
Now I think the place was not meant for me... though the quality and hygiene was great... but I could not understand the food... who puts lady-finger in chicken recipe... and the quantity of combos was never ever near my expectations... so people who are hardcore non-veg lover... I don’t think the place is for you... :)
It is not very difficult to find this place. Its bright pink board will catch your eye. It's in the building next to Accenture. We were greeted well.
The place was quiet and cozy until the lunch hour rush began. It is a very cute place for a lunch/dinner date.
To start off with I wanted to try the Bodha Berry Mocktail but it was a bummer that they did not have it. They served some cucumbers and carrots when we sat down.
Went on to have some lemon cilantro soup. The one by two portion was a lot. And it had a bit of extra lemon than what I would have like. For starters we had veg fried wontons and crispy chicken something. The wontons were good, the sauce was also good. But, the chicken was not as what we expected it to be. It was a bit rubbery and we felt as it was a day old. We skipped finishing that plate.
We went on to have some veg Singaporean Noodles and Malaysian spicy potatoes. Thumbs up for the two. Pretty good dishes. And we didn't have space for any desserts cause the portions were good enough.

Nice, quiet spot on Cunningham road.
Tucked away in the by lanes of Cunningham road, this Asian restaurant is like an oasis. The place was empty when we entered but got quite busy after. The service and ambiance is great. They have quite a variety in terms of food. The Thai salad is really good and so was the mock tail we had. The Singapore noodles is a good option for main course. We were stuffed with the food so we didn’t have dessert. Worth trying it out especially since there aren’t many options that side where the college crowd isn’t thronging.
Fat Buddha is a secluded restaurant located right next to the Accenture building. The ambience is very peaceful, serene and laid back. The outdoor seating is surrounded by greenery which is very calming. However, we preferred to be seated inside because the weather was too humid outside. The indoor seating is quite comfortable with a glass window to keep the view in mind.
For appetiser we ordered the crispy Sichuan babycorn and for main course we went for the burnt garlic vegetable fried rice with vegetables in Hunan sauce
Crispy Sichuan babycorn consisted of fried, crisp babycorn with colour bell peppers tossed in a flavourful, not too spicy sauce. It had a hint of tanginess along with the flavour of lots of cilantro stalks. It was very delicious and gave the meal a good start
The burnt garlic fried rice was mild in terms of spice but the flavour of fried garlic elevated the dish. The vegetables in Hunan sauce made the perfect accompaniment to the fried rice. It had all my favourite vegetables like broccoli, zucchini, squash, carrot, babycorn and also had chunks button mushrooms in it. The vegetables were crisp, the sauce wasn’t spicy as given in the menu but was well balanced and the consistency was perfect.
The service was polite and the meal was very filling for the two of us. The portion size is good which made up for the extra bucks that we shelled. To sum it up, good food with pleasant ambience. I also enquired once, for my friend, the food they serve is halal.

Quaint and calm, Fat Buddha is tucked away in a peaceful corner away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Discovered this place by accident but totally loved the serene ambience and the awesome food. The portions were of decent quantity and the quality mirrored the authentic taste of pan Asian cuisine. The staff was friendly and courteous. Only set back - we asked for ice cubes to cool the water but they had some foreign residue melting down from them. When enquired, even the waiter couldn’t figure out what it was. Except for this, was all the more a wonderful dining experience.
Amazing food with a welcoming ambience..staffs are really good n service is fast..must recommend if u really want to have some private time with friends n family..
Authentic food. Thai red curry with rice and the soup was fabulous. Fried wonton could have been slightly better. Loved it. Will be back soon to try out some of their other items on the menu
One of my favourites places to have lunch. It's quiet and has a beautiful ambience. Especially for the table outside there is a small garden view you can enjoy. The food is well seasoned and hits the spot. I always leave here with an over full belly.
The place has a cozy ambience, private and a prefect place for a quiet and satisfying meal. The food tastes very good and the quantity is sufficient for 2. I personally love the pepper garlic fish and fragrant prawns. The burnt garlic rice is made to perfection. The Thai curry is simply mouth watering. Ravi from the staff is very courteous and helpful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
Been at regular at this place for the past 4 years, and never been disappointed! Lovely ambience, quick and warm service coupled with great food! Must must visit!
Ambience is very romantic
Highly recommended for a date night
Located in a quiet building on busy cunningham road
Excellent food quality and great service
Highly recommended dish: The babycorn satay which is served with a signature peanut sauce
Their flavoured green tea after the food
Only negative:Little tight on parking if the place is full
But overall is a great experience and must visit for chinese food
I was here for lunch with a friend this afternoon . Its my second time to this place, and this restaurant definitely doesn't disappoint me. To talk a bit about the ambience, its quite nice and warm in here. Its nothing very fancy, but moderately well done up outside with a lot of plants.
They have a lot of options on their menu. We ordered a few mocktails, and each one was better than the other.
The food was quite nice, amazing flavours and good value for money. I would really like to give a shout out to the man who looked after us this afternoon- Ravi. He took such good care, and recommended so many good dishes. He was extremely curteous and proactive.
The only minus I can think of at this restaurant is their restroom, it definitely needs better maintaining. Maybe they should also focus a bit on painting up the walls inside the dining area , which i noticed was chipping out and damp. Not a very pleasant sight.
Overall, for the food and the service I give Fat Buddha a thumbs up!
Food was average.
Service must improve.
A very very quite place.
Staff should definitely learn how to communicate with the costumers and be polite enough.
Have been here 3-4 times
The Ambience is very nice and romantic. Though it's a bit small with 10-12 tables. So I would recommend Prior booking.
The food has always been good, if not for wow.
Would recommend the Barbeque Fish, Tofu Chilly and the chicken wings.
It's about 200-250/plate, The quantity per dish is also pretty good. So don't mind paying the price
Located in a quiet corner in a bunglow, this is a favorite spot of ours for Asian food. Have been here many a times and left quite happy.
Their manchow soup and honey chilli potatoes are to die for.
Staff is quite friendly and the service is fast.
Keep serving good n yummy food Fat Buddha.
Tasty food and one of the best Chinese cuisines I have had till date. It’s a must visit restaurant for Chinese cuisine lovers. Don’t miss it
If you want to eat Chinese, this place will never disappoint you. Been here a couple of times and the food has always been good.
We had an infant with us and they made sure we were given a couch.
Good hospitality.
They now have Valet Service too.
Edit
They have drastically improved the food quality. Had been really long since we had good Indian Chinese- but please increase the quantity. It’s too less for the price.
Funny smelling stuff. All food here tastes something similar to when a home cook attempts Asian cuisine and fails horribly. We did a home delivery since we heard rave reviews from a friend - definite miss and won’t be ordering in again.
Went to this place for a nice lunch with my friends, but it is suitable for a corporate meal as well. The ambience is very pretty and calm. The staff were friendly and the service was good. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the spring rolls which are usually just floating in oil in other restaurants.
After all the years finally visited this place. Ambience is on the average side.
Started of with manchow soup, it was good.
Loved CHICKEN KATSU, must try for all.
Brunt Chicken fried rice with Sauteed Chicken in chilli was just yumm. Service was one of the best.

Good ambience inside and outside restaurant. Peaceful Atmos. Very good food at reasonable price. Fat Buddha Rice, Chilli Cauliflower, Spring rolls, Tom yum soup and Grilled tofu mushroom. Very good service and exceptionally fast.
Even though this place is old, love some of the dishes here. Noodles and dimsums are my fav always n its tastier here. The appetizers are too tasty, soups as well.
Fat Buddha is a quaint, quiet Asian restaurant tucked away behind an unassuming residence on Cunningham Road. It's food, however, is anything but. Classic and contemporary Oriental flavors thrill your palate. Some of my favorites here are the Grilled Chicken with Cilantro and Lemongrass, Grilled Tofu and Mushrooms in Barbeque Style, and the Keong's Chilli Chicken. The fried rice here is a hands-down winner, be it vegetarian or non-vegetarian. As for mains, I highly recommend the Vegetables in Hunan Sauce if you are vegetarian. The choice of vegetables is delightful and the seasoning on the broccoli is sensational. If you are non-vegetarian, do try the Chicken Malay Style, Pla Pahd Cha (a Thai-style stir fried fish preparation), and Garlic Steamed Prawns.
At lunch time, you are likely to see small groups from nearby offices but it's dinner when Fat Buddha is enjoyed best, particularly in the company of a loved one or close family. Service is pleasant and unobtrusive.
They have a small selection of wines and mocktails. I would have preferred a wider selection of alcoholic drinks but you win some and lose some. The price is also more than your average Asian meal but the quality of the food and service befits the price. I am nitpicking at best here.
On the whole, Fat Buddha is an exquisite place to enjoy a quiet Asian meal which feels authentic without making you stray too far from your palate's comfort zone. Therefore, It gets my unsurprising vote for being one of the best of it's kind in the city.
This place is very near to our office in Vasanth Nagar and is next to Accenture office.. we went for a team lunch to this place..most probably a bungalow converted to this restaurant this place looks very neat and resort type and gives you a really nice food experience..having both vegetarian and non-vegetarian people in the group we ordered many items starting from soups, noodles, fish starter, chicken starter, spring rolls and main course..can't say authentic Chinese taster but it was having a fusion of INDIAN in it..quick service and professional staff makes your experience even better..Good Going Team Buddha!
I went there with my family on my birthday. The ambience was nice and so was the food. We ordered chicken winglet for starters, and koi- Thai noodles, Malaysian fried rice and schezwan chicken as main course. Would highly recommend this place. The staff was also very courteous.
Very nice and cozy restaurant with big selection of Asian dishes mostly tailored to Indian tasted. Just be careful to guests' allergies. Recommended!
Quick and well packaged food delivery, and very good quality of food, and flavours are good too! Always a good option for Chinese and pan Asian food in the area.
After having wanting to go here from quiet some time, wr finally managed to visit the place.
Food was very tasty and nicely presented.
Service was good too!
Any particular Chinese foodie explorer out der?? Go for this one.... Taste, the cuisine, the ambience and especially the people serving:) all r awsm.. Jst a check- u need to dig a bit to find the restaurant.. It's a bit puzzling😂
It was dinner in Fat Budha.
Was bit difficult to locate as it is located behind a building and board on the main road is not visible enough to help locate the place.
It is located in a quaint place with a I will call "small seating place".
Ambience: Average, nothing to talk about
Service: Servers were attentive, who gave suggestions and seek feedback. Though serving time was slow but we were not in hurry (was engrossed in watching cricket set above in house bar).
Food: Overall good experience:
Tom Yum Chicken Soup: Was good as it is supposed to be
Chicken schezwan in bean sauce (can’t recollect exact name but was suggested by server and was not included in menu): Delicious with right mix of flavour.
Chicken Malay: Good again
Hakka Chicken Noodle: Very Average
Kwai-Tu Veg Noodles: Lovely, as described correctly it had nice tangy taste.
Overall a pleasant experience.
Had been on a sunny day..! Best place to chill out for lunch if u r a thai food lover then this a place u should explore.. food is quite good..
Love this place. We have been coming here for some years now and it has never disappointed. It's quiet and cool. Service is fast. Food is excellent.
I wss craving for chinese today so just checked the ratings on zomato and decided to try this one today for lunch. A shaddy place located at the corner of a residential complex. The back side of the complex was Fat Buddha restaurant. A small cozy restaurant with limited seating area. They have outdoor seating area as well. Indoors was neat and tidy. A weird smell was there which was taken care of when complained.
Courteous staff suggested us to try
Hunan chicken. This was crispy and we'll cooked in soya sause. It tasted delicious. The sauce was very tasty and enough for 2 people.
Instead of trying a gravy with rice, he suggested to just go in for this one. Fat Buddha shagai chicken was our main course. Rice, noodles and fried noodles with shredded chicken and egg. Another delicious dish by them which had veggies and roastd garlic as well. It had a gravy as well so we didn't had to order another one to compliment this dish. A well served portion perfect for 2.
I loved this place and would definetely recommend this one to everyone. Pricing is good and hard drinks are also available. Car parking is also available inside the residential property.

As this place is being closely located to my work place I visit often and never get bored.
Food tastes really authentic and perfect I would rather call it as. Crew is too friendly and approachable, ambiance is really neat and clean so a place that needs prefect visit to make yourself happy and your tummy happy!
Went there for lunch with my family and baby. Good ambience , great seating must day and food is tasty. Nice place for a lunch. Price is reasonable. Cons - the waiters are not trained well. Overall an ok place to go.
As my wife hasn't eaten Chinese for a pretty long time, it's decided that we will explore this place apart from the regular Chungs, wangs, Beijing Bites and the Chung wah.
Place - the restaurant is located right next to the Accenture building on Cunningham road, it's tucked away inside behind the apartment complex, parking is a bit of a challenge but thankfully when we went for lunch there weren't much crowd when we went. Seating is available outside as well but we choose to go inside which was neatly done and couple of tables near the window were reserved. So we took the center table. By the time we could start our lunch 3 other families arrived and the crowd was decent with the noise levels being absolutely low, much much better than the regular Chinese restaurants like the ones mentioned above.
Food - we ordered a soup couple of starters and main course. First we ordered manchow soup which was excellent, the balance of flavours were perfect and it was thick to perfection, good amounts of chicken chunk pieces made the soup even more tasty.
For the starters we ordered Keongs chilli chicken and a grilled chicken with Cilantro and lemon grass, but disappointed with tree quantities as it was not sufficient, the chilli chicken tasted good and was the chicken pieces were soft and juicy, the grill chicken lacked the punch!! The chicken breast pieces were thin in size and as mentioned before the quantity wasn't matching for the price mentioned.
For the main course we ordered veg American chopsuey and schezwan chicken noodles, the choupsey was tangy in taste, I'm not a big fan of choupseys but my wife enjoyed it!! The noodles tasted good as well and I was able to finish it off!!
Final words - As mentioned earlier the ambience was perfect and there was not much of noise, food is okie and priced on a higher side but as the saying goes all good things comes with a price. A soup, couple of starters and couple of main course will set you back by approx 2K. Here are some of the pics! Hope you enjoyed my review, until next time.....
Came here for dinner in a moderately large group of 16-17 approx people. They don't have tables that big, so we sat in disjointed tables all over the place. The ambiance and first impressions are nice. The restaurant itself hides in the back in a cosy little getup and if you didn't know about the place from before, you would not spot it. The inside is well maintained, the sofa seats are comfy for a good unwind. As for the food, this is one of the best asian cuisine I have had in a long time. We started off with the spicy crab meat soup which was really good. For the main course I had the Peking crab which was equally brilliant. The meat was succulent and greatly appetising. For rice, we had the Fat Buddha shanghai rice and the Burnt garlic chicken fried rice. The Shanghai is a mixture of crispy noodles and rice and frankly did not suit my taste. Others might differ. The garlic rice was fantastic and paired with the Wok roast lamb in devil's sauce and the Lamb in black bean sauce, it just hit the spot. The lamb meat again is soft and succulent and you get the flavour well when you pair it with the right rice. So in all, the food did not disappoint. Pro tip: pair the meat and the crab with good wine and it will be an experience not easily forgotten. We took in a couple of bottles of Grover la reserve and even though its more expensive than right off the booze shop, we didn't regret it. Where this place does fall apart is the service. Several of the waiters were thoroughly disinterested and it took quite an effort to get their attention. The main course came before the starters for several of my friends. The food in general took ages to come. Settling the bill again took a tremendous amount of time and this is in short the weakest link. If you don't mind that, definitely go for the good food at a moderately expensive budget.
We took our clients for lunch to Fat Buddha. I made a reservation 1 hour in advance and the tables were arranged promptly on time, even though all other tables were full. We realized our clients were vegetarians after reaching the place, hence ordered all vegetarian food. All the items we ordered were good and we were surprised to get such good vegetarian options in a pan Asian restaurant. Raw papaya salad and thai soup were super tasty. Service was prompt and ambience is lovely. It was a little noisy as we went on a busy Friday afternoon, but highly recommend this place for some great thai and Chinese food.
The food is alright. Nothing special. I found it a bit costly compare to the items. Ambience is good and the staffs are also well behaved. Overall I will rate it 3.7 from my side.
Its one of those find out when I was searching for a good pan asian restaurant in zomato. This place will be around 7mins walk from the fun cinemas at cunningham road.
Seven of us went there and I must admit that I was highly impressed to see the place. It had a lovely garden, earthen pots with floating lotus and beautiful flowers with some sitting arrangements made outside alongwith big umbrellas. But we went inside as were more in number and got seated in a comfortable sofa.
The service was courteous and welcoming; they even helped us to decide what to order by recommending some incredible stuff.
We ordered chicken lemon cilantro soup, keongs chilli chicken and grilled fish in black pepper sauce.
I was completely bowled over by their dishes. The food was cooked to perfection and the presentation too was alluring. The soup had a lovely taste of lime and cilantro, grilled fish was succulent, full of flavour and it was astounding. I simply relished it. Even the keongs chilli chicken was worth mentioning. It had the right blend of spices and we all savoured it.
Then we decided on our main course palate...we had non veg Kwai tu noodles, non veg Fat Budhha Shagai rice, Lamb in black bean sauce and Pla Pahd Cha. Each dish had its own uniqueness and had quite distinct taste. The kwai tu noodles were flat noodles mixed with veggies and chicken. It was yummy and a treat to have it. The Fat Buddha shagai rice was completely different and I have never tasted such kind of rice before. It had a gravy texture on the top and was simply topclass. Its a must try for all whoever visits this place. The lamb was soft, tender and fascinating. It will melt down in your mouth and you are bound to enjoy its sapidness. The Pla Pahd Cha was a combo of fresh chillies, baby ginger, thai basil with stir fried fish. Somehow the flavour fell flat after what he tried before.
I somehow will recommend everyone to try out this place if you are a true lover of pan asian cuisine. Its really a worth to try....
After a movie at fun cinemas,we were looking for a place to have lunch and my bestie discovered this little gem, just two blocks after cunningham road.
From the outside its looks so calm and serene and has such a lovely garden. As you enter, you would see its so peaceful and spacious. The staff are very courteous and good at suggestions.
We ordered for the lemon coriander soup and keongs chilli chicken and grilled fish in pepper sauce.I loved all the dishes, they tasted wonderful and brings a different taste to your palette.Moving on to the mains we ordered fat budhha shanghai rice, khwai tu noodles, roast lb in burnt garlic sauce and pla pahd cha which was a stir fried fish dish. Each dish tasted different from another.it was like a burst of fresh flavor on our pallette.Loved the food here.
The pocket pinch was quiet reasonable too since we had so many items.I'm definitely coming back next time I'm in this area.
Have been to this quaint neighbourhood restaurant a few time, like the ambiance, the courteous staff and yes of course the soul food.
Last evening, we decided to get a quick bite, food wasn't upto the mark!
I have had better food from your kitchen.
PS: Do maintain the sanity at your restrooms
Definitely a must try for all Chinese food lovers.
The advantages of the place:
1. Food served as fast as ever! Never seen a place with good crowd and fast service
2. Amiable staff: love the service quality
3. Options for veg and non veg are equal: me being a veggie and hubby a non veggie- found the veg delicacies to be absolutely brilliant- veg manchow soup and burnt garlic fried rice was good.
4. Good ambience: nice seating and pleasant
Scope for improvement:
1. Options for side dishes: could be more in variety and better in quality. The main dishes outnumber the sides in the quality score
2. Location/ visibility: the place is quite challenging to spot out for newbies like me!
3. More desserts - please :(
Will definitely visit next time and would recommend to all my friends who are food lovers!
Good job team.
Nice cosy place with a decent ambience. Very centrally located, The Fat Budha specialises in Pan Asian with focus being on Chinese. The food is good, and absolutely nothing to complain about. If there is one shortcoming it is the parking. Very limited place for cars and no valet service.
Loved the ambience of this place. It's cosy and feels warm. It was hard to find though but great food, courteous staff not expensive either . A place I would wanna repeat!!
The sliced lamb was truly heavenly. The dimsums were so soft and the vegetarian and non vegetarian options were both really good. The ambience is average and the approach is a little difficult but the food surely compensates for these smaller things.
Also a mention to the staff, very attentive and super family friendly.
Very good food, worth the price. Reasonable portions. Chefs preparations are a cut above the standard 'Indian Chinese' fare and flavours are many more. Enjoyed our experience.

A quiet place tucked away on the busy Cunningham Road, with one of the nicest ambience surrounded by a lot of greenery. The staff were very welcoming and there was vallet parking too. A perfect place for a romantic dinner date. Their mocktail was made to perfection. I tried the Pina colada Oriental style. The Thai red curry with rice was delicious. For the starter I enjoyed the spring rolls and it's crispyness. The sweet corn soup, the mushroom and cauliflower in a variety of sauces were made well. The icing on the cake was definitely the Carmel custard and the shahi tukda 😊
Nice and quiet restaurant with good ambience. The asian cuisines were delicious. The staffs were polite. Must go and have dinner kinda restaurant.
Indeed, we went to Feast India Co. which is collocated and runs under the same management. FIC is housed in a heritage building, about 75 year old, made by some relative of then Maharaja of Mysore. The ambience and decor is worth appreciation.
We tried a few items from both FIC and FB. Both were good. Special mention goes to Lamb Galwauti Kabab and Firni, both from FIC menu.
Great ambience, home-like. Great taste. Courteous staff who help you decide what's the best to suit your taste. Great options for vegetarians. One suggestion is that they could include high chairs for kids. Could be a great weekend outing...
First of all, the place in a narrow way, little difficult to find
There's a new themed restaurant right beside fat Buddha, right opposite to it , which sevres North Indian food, ambiance is eye grabbing as it's very simple and neat.
Typical house converted to a restaurant but it's worth the visit.
Thanks for the restaurant being a little inside from the road, you'll be able to spend quality time with your loved ones as it's very quiet and peaceful.
We order awadhi roast and subz biryani that was stomach filling quantity for 2 people , laasi isn't the typical Punjabi type as I could feel it wasn't ready yet to be served. Apart from that , the washroom is neat and well maintained,
The person who took care of us , was well mannered and was always there for us.
Though the bill costed around 1k, I feel it was totally worth and value for me.
The day we went Fat Buddha was operating out of Feast India Company. We ordered only from FB menu, food is good. Staff effecient and polite. The place has an old world charm. Would definitely go back here. They do serve booze.
Good restaurant for Chinese cuisine. Recommended to taste FAT BUDDHA (veg and non veg) , noodles and schezwan fried rice. On average 1000 per 2 people.
The taste is really good. We tried Chicken Combo, Veg Combo
Good Chinese food great taste and ambiance
A repeat favourite. Setting is lovely. Food is good although with a little tweaking like less oil and a some fresh herbs/seasonings could be better.
Nice place to visit with family and friends. Very delicious food offering ..
It's a cool place for a quiet lunch. Away from all the noise of the traffic. Very pleasant ambience. The food was also good. We had the crab meat soup which was excellent. The golden fried prawns were crisp and delicious. Overall a nice dining experience. Service was also good.
