During the lock down, one of the most missed out thing has been Andhra food.
Now that life is slowly returning to normal, we decided to try out take away meals.
Initially I tried to call over phone to place the order and then the plan was to go and pickup.
But 2 phones were ringing and one was engaged, so I decided to go there myself.
The place is not very far from where I live.
When I reached there were many delivery persons waiting for their parcel to come and the man behind the counter was busy as well.
I thought of ordering 2 meals thinking we are 3 adults, but the person behind the counter said that one is enough for 3, so I went by his suggestion.
It was indeed enough for 3 of us. Rasam,Sambar,Dal,Curry all tested superb. They also had included ghee, fried chilly, pickle, chutney all in separate plastic boxes.
We really had great Sunday afternoon meals! Highly recommend if you love Andhra Meals at Nagarjuna, you will be equally delighted by their take away option.
Mutton Briyani - Amazing & Consistent when it comes to Taste!
Must Eat!
Starters are pricy for the quantity but quality is of the highest standards!

Authentic taste and large portions will satisfy your needs, if u want to try Andhra style food I must say try here. The place you will recommend your family and friends with no regrets!
After the hype about Nagarjuna, we visited the place and here's what we ordered Mutton Biriyani, Chicken 65 and Non-veg Meals. I must say the was a huge line to enter but the food was quite worth the experience. The biriyanis were good and chicken 65 was succulent and juicy then the meals was great, but the pricing was a little over the taste of the food but overall experience was great, great food and great service.
Your Andra chilli chicken is the very best ..
After hearing heaps of praises from my friends for Nagarjuna, I added this place to my bookmark list. So, one weekend I decided to try this out, along with my family. Situated at Bannerghatta Road, opposite to Brand Factory and above KFC/Tanishq showroom, it’s easy to spot this restaurant.
The ambience of the place is good and they have a huge seating space. There is also a separate area for AC seating, which if want, you could opt for. It being known for its Andhra delicacies, you would notice they use Banana leaves instead of plates, which is too cool. From the moment you sit to order, you would get those feels :)
Here’s what we ordered. Chicken Nagarjuna Roast, Prawn Pepper Fry, Chicken Fry, Chicken Nagarjuna Gravy & Chicken Biryani along with some Tandoori Rotis and Buttermilk.
Chicken Nagarjuna Roast: This starter was damn good! Chicken is ghee roasted along with some spices and curry leaves. The only non-spicy dish among the whole meal and it was the best. Recommended.
Prawn Pepper Fry: Prawns cooked in black pepper sauce. If you are a prawn lover, then you’ll like this dish. The black pepper sauce tasted too good with prawns and it's smokiness will get to your palette.
Chicken Fry: Andhra style chicken starter which was semi-dry and spicy. Much similar to Bhuna Murgh but instead, Andhra spices were used.
Chicken Nagarjuna Gravy: This coriander flavoured Chicken gravy is a must have here. Best to eat, along with some Tandoori Rotis.
Chicken Biryani: Generally, in South India you get biryanis which are way too spicy and less in flavour (my opinion). Being a Lucknawi, I’ve been a Biryani lover all my life. I ordered the Chicken Biryani here to have a taste and hoped it to be different from what I’ve had in Bangalore & Mumbai till date. Honestly, I was very surprised that the Biryani here, was really good and it was full of flavour. The Chicken was cooked very nicely, along with the spices, as it should be. Amazing.
The service was super fast here. Just Brilliant! Our table server, Ishwar, was quick and very humble.
CONCLUSION -
Food: 4/5

I’m a fan of Andhra cuisine now. Thanks a lot Nagarjuna, for such an amazing experience. I would truly recommend this place if you are craving a good Andhra Cuisine meal in Bangalore.
Nagarjuna serves the best andhra meals in Bangalore.
Chutney, dal, sweet, even the curd was so awesome.
Service is very good and prompt.
Will keep visiting.
Nagarjuna is undoubtedly one of the best places to have some amazing andhra food.
In the starters i loved the guntur chicken and the pepper chicken, the chicken kabab was also fine. The guntur chicken had the perfect amount of spice in it and was really delicious.
In the main course I liked the nellore fish curry which was also good.
Then I had one of the best dishes being made over here that is the biryani.I had the chicken biryani and i just loved it,there was sufficient portions of chicken in it,the biryani gravy was also good and I loved the combination of the chilly chicken and the chicken biryani and I am sure the biryani over here is going to make your tastebuds dance due to its amazing flavour.
The service was a bit slow due to the huge crowd, the staff were courteous and the ambience was fine.
Overall nagarjuna is a really good place to visit for amazing food.
What a good way of hospitality, Mr. eswar to be thanked for. And every other person who served.
A North Indian vegetarian writing this review.
Great taste. Great hospitality. Ordered a veg thali on banana leaf. It was great.
If u want to try authentic south Indian food then this is the perfect place. I loved the food and would like to go there again and again
If u wanna taste d true essence of South indian food den try the meal here. Fully satisfied tummy. Staff service also good.
Can any one trip over curd served at any place ? I did! I tripped on their curd so much that I used to end up going here probably 2 to 3 times a week, minimum.
They serve food on Banana leaf which is very nice. Food is great. They pour in ghee for as long as you want! Their Gobi Sholay is to die for!
Except for a fact that the place gets a bit sultry when there's lot of people, it's a must visit, must try, must have food place in Bengaluru.
If you like Andhra food then you must visit this place. Places is crowded you have to wait sometime in weekend to get table. But food is nice and tasty. Service was very fast.
The service was vry gud... Quick fast n instant service.. Highly recommend 👍👍
If it's Andhra style food then it has to be Nagarjuna and the Nagarjuna on Bannerghetta road is just the perfect thing that can happen to a hungry tummy. It's a typical Nagarjuna with loads of great food, nice service even when it was completely packed and ample seating yet at lunch time you can end up waiting for long due to its popularity because of its great food!

The food is here is too good for a Sunday afternoon. And the staff! Man-o-man was it too damn good! Although pretty packed on a weekend, it was worth the wait!
My all time favourite restaurant. The staff is very polite and courteous, specially Mr. Eshwar who was kind enough to serve to our needs, always with a smile. The service was very quick and efficient. Hats off the the team @Nagarjuna Bannerghata road!
Best Andhra Meals of Bengaluru. The Palak Dal is an all time favourite for every person. Too crowded during the weekends. It is a must must restaurant if you want to have south thali.
Nagarjuna located at bannerghatta road is one of the finest restaurants in bangalore.
They specialise in Andhra food and their USP is serving food on banana leafs.
The most famous item which is a must have is chicken biryani. Other than that all the items are good and taste great.
The ambience is excellent and huge and service is quick.
Best Authentic Restaurant for people out there who r looking for veg Andhra style meals . Affordable prices and the meal is unlimited ,the way how the staff responds and serves is actually very good
I had Bhojanam for lunch which is a Veg Andhra Meal served here. The staff including Mr. Eshwar were extremely polite and willing to step forward and explain about the delicacy in this meal. I was given a generous pouring of ghee over hot and steaming rice, served along with Carrot palyam, Ridge Gourd Chutney, Sambar, Rasam, Palak Dal, Buttermilk, Belampai, kadele chutney (i've tried to put together all the names of the dishes as they are called there). Along with that there was Mango pickle and gongura pickle. The best was curd - freshly made for the day. It was well set and had natural sweetness to it. One of the best Andhra meals i've had ever in the city. Thank you Nagarjuna team.
Quick service and great Andhra meals. The food is not very hot and you can actually taste the other flavors.
I had such a good time savouring their food that I forgot to click pictures. The daal was specially out of the world. The fried mutton and fish, which we ordered in addition to the regular thali were delicious. The sabjis could be better, but everything else - the rasam, sambar, chutney papad were outstanding. Prepare for waiting time on holidays and be early during mealtimes so that everything is available.
Good place to eat delicious south India meals. The unlimited quantity is sufficient and worth the money. Service is good. It's located on the main road and easily accessible. Chicken biryani doesn't contain many pieces of chicken and could be better.
Went here to try the biryani which receives a lot of praise across the city. It is a typical Andhra style biryani with mellowed down spices. To simply put, if you are not a fan of spicy biryani you will love this. As it contains all of the flavor of a typical Andhra biryani without being too spicy. The food being served on a leaf is a nice touch. The service is lightning quick and you’ll have the food on your table in no time. Nagarjuna is a great place for a quick and fulfilling lunch.
We always like their ambience and it is same as their other branches. Staff were courteous and quick enough to manage a large crowd. We liked chicken pepper fry, mutton biriyani and veg thalli.
Being a big fan of south indian thalis, I recently explored Nagarjuna Andhra style in Bengaluru. With a legacy of over three decades, Nagarjuna serves authentic Andhra thali and coastal food. We had their veg thali and also tried the Guntur Chicken dry and Nellore fish curry. Extremely tasty and flavourful, it is a must visit for people who cherish south indian food. Modern dining room with ambience having a subdued lighting and refined decor, Nagarjuna provides a wholesome experience.

Syamson was very friendly and amazing good staff and for sure we will recommend for my friends and family
One of my favourite restaurants when I am really hungry and want to just enjoy the sumptuous meal. The food taste and consistency is really amazing. One of my favourite combination is simple veg meal alongside mutton ghee roast, boneless chicken ghee roast, and if you have an appetite for red chillies then Guntur chicken it is. Just mind blowing! Also, their Biriyani is anyways an all time favourite. On the other hand, their service standards are 10/10. Specifically calling out Mr.Samson, he treats you and serves you in a way as if you are a guest at his home🙂. There is so much of courteousness and friendliness and his commitment to his service is top standard. He is also one of the main reasons I ensure I visit this restaurant 🙏 Thank you so much.
It's best place for Andhra style meals. The food quality is very good. The staff is cooperative and welcoming. Service is lovely. Ambiance is awesome. Must try restaurant for new comer in the town.

I love the way they serve the food above the banana's leave.
The service same as the hotel restaurant service and we can refill the Andhra Menu.
Love it!
Excellent andhra meals.. Try their chilli chicken its yummy.very courteous staff.Jus a suggestion for their home delivery prefer they could make an option of meals for one person instead of container meals for four.so that even one person can also order their meals
Nobody misses this place in Bangalore. Why? Obviously for their famous Andhra Dishes. One of the best restaurant in town. Really became fan of their flavours. Food served on banana leaves feels like traditional. Quality and good service maintained. Must Try: Guntur Chicken, Mutton Biryani, Mutton Roast, Nellore Fish Curry. Gonna visit again to try their other specialities.
It's a place where we feel like home, as Mr. SYAMSON takes care of us like a family member... he is a very warm and a lovable person as even if we are not feeling well we come here to have food, the way he pampers us. Over all very good even today from past 5 years & it is a bounded relationship... God bless him.
The meals that you get are worth a try. This place has a calm and soothing ambience which helps you relax and eat with patience. Very friendly staff and tasty food. Only thing is they should spice up the dal a bit more and it will be just fine.
My goto place when I'm in the mood for vegetarian Andhra meals. The food is always excellent, steaming hot and tasty. I also love their pepper chicken.
Service staff are prompt, helpful and attentive.
The only negative is how crowded it gets on weekend afternoons. There's always at least a 15-20 minute wait to get seated.
Excellent Andhra Bhojanam. It is a full spread with all the required items. Service is quick & value for money. Even the location is central & accessible
It's the best place to eat Andhra meals I really enjoy their food and hardwork to meet customer satisfaction, I really enjoy, I visit throughout outlet in Bangalore
This place has one of the best biryani's in Bangalore.. with the competition around they have still managed to keep the taste good and attract customers..
The chilly chicken and sholay kababs are a must try here.. love the mutton biryani here.. the veg meals is another big thing here..
would rate this place 4/5 with ease..
Nagarjuna has some of the best authentic ethnic preparations! Whatever they make, the make it with skill. Their chicken roast has to me my ultimate favorite of all. It may get quite crowded but that's only because their food is so, so good!
Love this place and has always topped my favorites list. Such tasty and flavourful briyani. The quantity is just right and very filling. The meals will offer you with some authentic Andhra style food. Appetizers like chicken sholay kebab and paneer manchuri are some of my favorites.Though a bit expensive, definitely worth the money. Would highly recommend you guys to visit this place with your family and friends.
Its one of my fav place to have andhra meal, pocket friendly, hygienic, humble and fast serving staff. The taste is just wow its a good family restaurant.
The goto place to have a sumptuous Andhra meal. Went there on Sunday and not to be surprised it was very very very crowded. We had to wait for 40 mins to get a table. Once we got our table, we started the meal. The food is delicious. We ordered extra Gobi manchurian and that was also pretty nice. The only thing I did not like was thw waiting time.
Nagarjuna veg meals is famous all over. So, wanted to try this out. Casual dining restaurant with decent ambiance. So tried Andhra veg meals, chilli chicken, pomfret fish fry, Chicken Biryani. Everything tasted yum. But, the veg meals is top notch and a must try here. Weekends are terribly crowded and you might have to wait for a while to get a table. The wait is worth it for the delicious food.
Good tasty decent food . Veg thali is awesome . Chicken kabab is good . The way things are served in banana leaf is more traditional .Biriyani is medium spicy as well as served in banana leaf . Two people it will cost around 500 plus
Nagarjuna Restaurant impressed me not only with their unlimited veg meals, priced at a reasonable 275 rupees but also by serving them on traditional banana leaves. The use of banana leaves for serving added a unique and authentic touch to the dining experience. It was a delightful nod to South Indian culinary traditions and enhanced the overall appeal of the meal.
In addition to this, we indulged in boneless chicken kabab as a starter, and it was worth every penny. The perfect blend of spices made every dish incredibly delicious.
The restaurant's dedication to creating flavorful dishes was evident, and I left with a full belly and a contented palate. If you appreciate Indian cuisine, especially Andhra-style, Nagarjuna is a must-visit. The restaurant's cozy atmosphere, welcoming staff, and the use of banana leaves for serving make it an even more unique and enjoyable dining experience.
I highly recommend trying their veg meals and exploring their diverse menu for a truly satisfying and tasty meal. It's an excellent choice for both food enthusiasts and those looking for a delightful dining experience with the traditional touch. It is a must visit!!
Nagarjuna is an Andra-style restaurant situated in Bannerghatta. The restaurant is pretty large and has loads of space, yet has waiting times due to the immense crowd. Service is quick and efficient despite the number of people. It's pretty clean, too.
Good parking available.
Food has large quantity, and very good taste, too.
I recommend the veg meals (unlimited), Biriyani and chicken.
Service: 5/5
Food: 5/5
Cleanliness: 4/5
Car Parking: 5/5
Authentic Andhra food tastes. Liked the Chicken biryani and chicken fry (with cashew), try these two if you are non vegetarian. Good parking space available for two wheelers. The behaviour of the staff is very good. Good ambience and cool environment. Shared some photos.
I've been a frequent visitor to Nagarjuna's Koramangala branch, primarily for their vegetarian meals. On this occasion, we decided to try their another branch. While I personally felt that the food quality at the Koramangala branch was slightly better, I must say that the service at this branch was quite pleasant. The food was still good, and the waiter provided excellent service, making it an overall positive experience.
Nagarjuna, situated in Bangalore, stands as the ultimate destination for those seeking authentic Andhra cuisine. Their delightful Andhra meals, presented on banana leaves, and the extensive variety of vegetarian options together form a culinary paradise. While the restaurant's ambiance is decent, it often gets crowded, making reservations a wise choice. Additionally, the availability of parking is a convenient bonus.
My family and I are dedicated patrons of Nagarjuna, drawn particularly to their comforting vegetarian thali and appetizers. The mutton biryani, though packing a spicy punch, delivers undeniably rich and flavorful taste. Their fish fry and various chicken items are also superbly tasty and delicious. The use of spices and authentic herbs in their dishes truly sets them apart. Moreover, the exceptional service further enhances the allure of this remarkable restaurant. It undoubtedly deserves a five-star rating! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Non veg is just superb, chicken briyani was very suttle and not spicy 🌶️. Andhra style veg meals was just amazing 🤩. You must try veg meals papu it’s really mouth watering dish. Also you have many options for non-vegetarians. Definitely you can give it a try.
A very good South Indian Resturant serving food in banana leaves .
Nagarjuna Resturant
Koramangala
Banaskantha Road
Banglore , Karnataka .
Nagarjuna Restuarant has a chain of Resturant in the city of Banglore and at Koramangala they have an outlet visited by me today 24th October , 2023 for lunch .
Here Andhra Style Food both Veg and Non Veg is served on banana leaves .
A very wholesome veg meal with unlimited helpings serving Rice with ghee, veg, dal , sambhar , rasam , papad , butter milk , curd , khir and chutney etc @ Rs.275/- per person is a good deal .
If you want to have an authentic South Indian meal then you can try this restaurant. This is a very nice place. If you want to visit this place before 3.30pm it will be very helpful to you. Closing time is 4.00 pm. The taste of the meal was very good.
Service was good
Food was just wow wow
And comes to the atmosphere they did painting 🧐inside the dining so full of smell🫢 but any how we managed🤔
We tried Vegetarian Meal with Chicken Kebab and Vanjaram Fry.
It was all very nice.
But i would suggest more cleanliness.
Veg meals is ok needs further improvement like the Bhindi chutney was quite salty in taste, pappu was plain in taste not spicy long time having meals in this restaurant. Another guest had Vanjram fry it was smelly 🤢 . Vegetarians have limited options apart from veg meals like if you like to plan for a la carte veg curries you have just 3 which is a big let down. Parking is just a big nightmare as the entrance is on a different ground level and the exit cum entry is in such a place where there is a busy lane near by where the traffic is just chaotic if you miss this you have take a roundabout stop at the signal and drive back so that this time you can make the entry if you get another vehicle coming from the basement parking its a squeeze hardly you will find space if you are on the busy main road then it's going to lead to traffic jam too. Security or the parking attendees are nowhere to be seen above but you would find them in the basement to coordinate for smooth parking of vehicles.
There non-veg tastes better than there veg meal.
My wife had veg Andhra meal and I had mutton keema with roti (chapati).
We also order baby corn fry.
For all above we paid 1100 rs around.
Out of all the options. Keema tasted the best
Veg Meal was fine.
But baby corn pepper fry was cold and soggy.
We visited the place on Thursday after noon. As soon as entered we got the seats.
Service was good and fast.
Authentic Andhra flavors come alive at this vegetarian restaurant. The diverse menu showcases traditional dishes bursting with spices and aromatic flavors. From the tangy tomato pappu to the fiery gongura chutney, each dish is a culinary delight. The warm and welcoming ambiance adds to the overall dining experience. A must-visit for anyone seeking a taste of Andhra cuisine in a vegetarian setting.. The veg meal is the best.
We had a great experience at this place. Apart from the massive crowd, everything is super awesome. They have a special vegetarian meal which is unlimited at cost is under ₹300. It comes on a Banana leaf and you get enough food like rice, dal, sabji, chaach, dahi, chutneys, sambhar, sweet, papad and much more.
The taste is really delicious and i can feel very similar experience to Kerala restaurants but taste is definitely different. You may have to wait for 30 mins for your turn but it's worthy.
One feedback on service, the service cns be really fast. I have asked for sambhar for a couple of times and everyone was standing empty. Service needs improvements so people who are waiting can get the tables faster.
A la carte is also there but thali is highly recommended
