Good food and relaxed environment
In bangalore you can surely find some very good pure vegetarian restaurants too in addition to the other ones. Konark is a good option worth considering for a vegetarian meal. Service and food was overall good.
Also known as konark kanteerava, it's a great place to catch up with friends especially if you are in a large group. We went there for breakfast -- a group of 7 people -- the service was surprisingly fast.

Come to cubbon park for a mix of activities - jogging , dog socials , sports in kanteerva and you have your quality food joint in this place . Great service , prompt attendance and nice food , ragi idly on weekends for breakfast and coffee to go with it . We ended up like many with breakfast and later lunch too after a long time spent in cubbon park
Their seating and Ambiance is very different from the other outlets but food wise all the same. This place is a little difficult to locate but they have parking available inside. Food is pretty tasty as well.
Been wanting to go here for a while. Wish it was there when I was into 10k runs and Nike Run Club at the Kanteerava stadium. Located right next to the gate opposite to Cubbon Park. Open spacious self-service place downstairs and cooler service room with nice interiors upstairs. Efficient, friendly service and good, tasty food. What’s not to like?

The ambiance is really good ,the indoor and the outdoor seatings are really good. The food was nice.

The location is absolutely beautiful, there's greenery all around,so many trees, so quiet, that made my experience here even better.
Coming to the food, we ordered a benne masala dosa, idli-vada and two coffees.
The benne masala dosa is not to be missed, it's absolutely delicious, so crisp! The idli vada was okay, the idli was fine, the vada was not crispy at all but still, it tasted pretty good. We ended our meal with filter coffee and that was wonderful as well. Must visit!

Value for money! I’ve been visiting this place and the food here has never disappointed me. May it be their mini meals, the chats, the dosas - everything is made to perfection. Must go place.
Very good restaurant for pure veg food, menu is very vast and very good food as well. Staff ia quite friendly and polite. Try dal palak khichadi, and more importantly corn bhartha, less people tried it it seems but it deserves more fame.
We had went there for a team lunch. The ambience is nice and i was surprised to see the crowd on a weekday that too for lunch. It was jam packed. They have a huge menu.

I can't remember number of times i have visited this place, mostly during Bengaluru FC home matches as this is inside Kaanterava Stadium. The taste of food and snacks, the space, the ambiance everything is as per expectations here.
I have tried Veg Biryani, Veg Pulao, all Dosas, All Chaat items, Coffee, Tea and Juices here and everything was upto the mark in taste. Chaats could have been better especially in quantity if we compare it with price. If you are looking for north Indian style chaats, then this is not the place to be in.
A really beautiful place, located at the entrance of Kanteerava stadium, and also close to the Cubbon Park.
Loved the ambiance and also the helpfulness of the waiters in selection of food.
Lots of variety in their menu, and also good pricing.
We tried their wontons, which could have some improvements in the seasoning, spinach and mushroom noodles which was amazing!
We also tried their grilled panini, which is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had!

I would definitely recommend this place as they serve the best dosa I ever tried. Butter masala dosa and Paneer Manchurian is what I ordered and honestly the food which they served was too good. Right on time and very delicious that too in your budget. Must try place.
Love the food, since it's a purely vegetarian restaurant enjoyed the south Indian,north Indian,Chinese Chats, desserts. They are so yum. They serve us hot, the staff was well mannered and friendly.
Great little gem near Cubbon Park, right next to Kanteerva Stadium. Usually I'm looking for great south indian breakfast when I'm around on weekends, and this is my new favourite. No nonsense simple little place with amazing food. You pay for your food, get in line with your token for your food and then find a place to sit and eat - easy as that. I was surprised after eating why it isn't any more popular than it looked like. I'm going to visit again when around, so you might wanna too.
Never expected this place hidden inside a stadium to be this good. Have dined here four times in past week which already says a lot about this place. There is a huge variety of food available at this place at extremely reasonable prices. I have tried North Indian cuisine, dosas and lots of sundaes. I have left this place always feeling satisfied so I would go ahead and highly recommend this place!
Konark serves some of the finest food stuff.. I just love being there for breakfast every often after weekly long runs.. I just love there idli Wada sambar dosas Pongal n rice bath.. I love the way they keep up the quality of food for the kids who workout in stadium n come for food.. please keep up ur standards ..
you get a lot of varieties of dosa here! And idly! The white chutney is very yummy and spicy too! Loved the food here today! There is a dog park nearby . You can visit that place and have your brunch here :D
Nestled amidst all the hustle bustle and greenery in a discreet location is this restaurant. Ample space for parking welcomes you.
The interior goes well with the location. We were here after the morning walk in Cubbon Park along with my colleagues at work.
Coming to the food, we had Idly and vada in the first round and masala dose in second round before finishing it off with a filter kaapi. The idly and the vada were normal fare, but the chutneys ensured it was apart from the competition. The chutneys were spicy and gelled well with the idly/vada combo.
The masala dosa was a bit low on salt but the chutneys and the sambhar saved the day. The kaapi was the star of the day and stood out.
Overall I will recommend this place.

We got a table in 15 mins, the service here was a little slow I must say.
The ambience is decent and better than what I expected being inside kanteerva stadium.

This was better than I expected, good quantity of food for the price.

This was average, not the best. Lacked some Flavor.

This was surprisingly tasty and good.

The best thing is he makes it in front of you. Asks you how much sugar/salt you'll need. This was nice!

The quantities here are really good, value for money.

This place is my go to place whenever I love to hangout with my friends in the evenings! Located at the entrance of the kanteerava stadium, this place has its own charm, usually filled with the athletes who come to to practice ! I personally love this place for their chats and filter coffee! Filter coffee is one of the best ones you can have in Bangalore priced at less than 10 rs! The chats here are excellent as they use sprouts for filling and a generous amount of curd which is awesome! I also love the pav bhaji which has a really good taste with the butter and onions sprinkled on top of it! The dosas served here are crisp and tasty which goes well along with the chutney!The food is very economical when eaten in the self service but a lil costlier in the 1 floor with AC.

I was there to witness a football game of Bengaluru FC at Kanteerava Stadium. After the game I went to Konark restaurant and had Roti with Veg Raja Rani. Few Roti's were over done. Veg Raja Rani was delicious nonetheless. It was served on a platter and had Palak Panner and Tomato gravy based Veg Subzi, both positioned adjacent to each other. Some sort of a duet or a Jugalbandi perhaps. Priced reasonably for the ambience, location and service. Good eatery in all.
This place is hugely crowded on weekends. Staff service is satisfactory. Taste of the food is really nice , pure vegetarian and cost also seems okay. Must visit place.
The quantity of food they provide makes this place a pocket friendly if there are 4 people on a table, any Dish can be shared by 3 people . Food is excellent but at times(mostly in peak hours ) you’ll have to wait for 10-15mins

Konark is a very good vegetarian and the ambiance is also pretty decent. I generally don't preference vegetarian restaurant, I tried mughali and Hyderabadi biriyani and it was very good. You can visit this place for good South Indian food. Snacks and beverages are also good.
Decent food at resonanle rate. Do try the stuffed kulcha and tawa fried rice. Located in krantiveera stadium near UB city. Ambiance is decent ... we used the up stairs place for dinning
The ambience is very good. Lots of parking space available inside the stadium. The staff are pleasent and curtious. The food is very tasty and can of considerably large quantity.
The only negative is the approach, if coming from Kasturba road or cubbon park...then patrons have to take a loop around from Mallya hospital to hudson circle to make entry. There should be a direct entry opposite Mallya hospital.

If you don't want to have the self service section on the ground floor which serve good food at reasonable price, they have a nice sit down dining hall on top. though I must warn the pricing is high compared to the ground floor. The usual standard that Konark is known for.
Having been to the Konark on Residency Road a bunch of times, this was my first visit to their Kanteerva Stadium outlet.
The food was quite average, and it was reasonably priced. We went here for breakfast and tried their Idli, Dosa and Filter Coffee.
You can skip the Dosa as it was just about okay.
The coffee was a winner according to me!

This 'vegetarian' restaurant (Got to know about this info while ordering, my bad) is present right at the entrance/exit section of Kanteerava Stadium. We went to service hall section at around 1pm for lunch.
Ambience: To be very frank, wasn't expecting much. But the moment we entered, perception changed. It is good & well maintained.
Food: We ordered Steamed Rice, Dal Fry & Mixed Vegetable. Asked for the dishes to be made non-spicy & light. Food delivered as per specification and tasted good!
Worth visiting again (but since it's an vegetarian restaurant, I ain't coming back again though :P) for all the vegetarian folks. Bill came out to be Rs. 550/- (Also ordered Watermelon 🍉 juice from their 'Fresh Juice' section). Wouldn't say VFM but decent pricing.
Been here few times after running in cubbon park. Have tried only in the self service section. Idli is superlatively delicious. However I have observed the thickness of idli is on the reverse side. I don't mind it much as long as taste is awesome. Dosa is really good. Chutney is superb. And most importantly the cost is very reasonable.
One of the good veg restaurants I have ever had. The quantity is less but the food quality is excellent. The service is good and the rush is always on. So better go before 1 for lunch
I always went there for lunch. Food was good. Ambiance not bad. If you go for lunch then you better go before 12:30pm or after 2:00 pm. Dal khichidi was awesome and never try here Kashmiri Palau.
This place is in the heavily traffic zone area but will be filled with people all the time due to taste in food .. they are good in north Indian cuisine .. atleast 30 mins waiting if you visit there unplanned ..
This place is situated in the premises of Kanteerava Indoor Stadium. We happened to be here in the vicinity and looking for quick lunch. One of my friend suggested this place and we quickly zeroed in on this place. Masala dosa can be given a skip unless you ask for customization but Vada was crisp and tasty. Food is reasonably priced and is value for money.

Good old South Indian tiffin items, coffee and shakes (which they embellish with North Indian and chaat items, for reasons beyond my comprehension). Cheese dosas are a great hit with kids (and they don't go easy on the cheese)! Regular fare like dosas, idly and uttapams are good too.
Located just opposite Cubbon Park and therefore, a great place for post-workout breakfast.

The hotel is situated amidst the shade of lovely green trees... which allows you to breath in the fresh air and enjoy your breakfast or the cup of filter coffee.
And I was really impressed with their hygiene and maintenance...!
If you are in and around corporation circle or heading towards the MG Road and if you wanna have a good decent breakfast and filter coffee you can drop in and enjoy the food and the fresh air...!

This is a nice veggie breakfast joint in kanteerva stadium . If u ever plan for a walk in cubbon park on Sunday mornings or if ur in kanteerva stadium to catch on a BFC game ...This is the ideal place .. they make decent Idlys and dosas .. Actually they make good busi bele bath and kara bath as well . There is a self service and seated service available so u can actually choose ...Cheers
This place is located inside the Sree Kanteerava Stadium premises. This is my regular hangout place prior to and after the Bengaluru FC football matches. The restaurant consists of 2 floors. The ground floor is self-service and prices are on the lower side (and so is the quantity and the taste! :D)
The main restaurant is however on the first floor. The service is impeccable, the staff are friendly and the food is simply amazing. Their mango lassi and mango juice are kickass. Their chaats are quite tasty as well. They have mocktails, which surprisingly taste better than ones at most pubs. I've also tried their dosas, out of which I liked the cheese pepper masala dosa the best. The open dosa, I did not quite like that much.
All in all, if you're in that area, don't forget to visit :)
Darshini here is just average and hence the rating is 4. The restaurant is too good. Be it Chinese, South Indian, North Indian or Continental dish, all are simply superb and will surely make your mouth water when you go there the next time. Ambiance is good. Service is average speed, but once you have got the food the service picks up and you will not be made to wait in between your rotis, if you have ordered it after having one roti.

The food is good here. Specifically the north Indian and the pasta. I found this place pretty good in taste compare to the other in bangalore which offers north Indian and Continental food.

This place plainly has yummy veg food. If u live anywhere near by and are a vegetarian you can come and have your lunch or dinner here. They even have breakfast and the service is quick.
Came across this place while looking out for a decent place to have our breakfast after a good walk at Cubbon Park.. This place is situated in the premises of Kanteerava Indoor stadium, opposite to Cubbon park.. Its a two floor setup with self service hall on the ground floor and service hall on the first floor.. Since it was a Sunday morning, the place was crowded.. We ordered Masala Dosa, Idli vada, coffee and watermelon juice, in spite of having too many people coming in, the food was served quickly.. Masala dosa was just above average, Idli was good, but Vada was too good, it was crispy n super soft.. Food is reasonably priced..
This is an age old place and I like that they let you eat in your parked cars similar to airlines. The staff are very helpful and serve you well. It is pure veg food. I like the paneer Manchurian from here and other food.

This restaurant is a favourite for my family so I've been here many many times, and the quality has always been very good. The review here will be based on my most recent visit. We had the hot n sour soup which is spicy and really good. For starters we had mushroom pepper and salt and drums of gobi in schezwan sauce. The gobi wasn't that great but the mushroom was amazing! Then for main course we had butter Kulcha with kaju masala, again very good. Along with this we had their hyderabadi biriyani which is probably the best item we had there. Along with this we tried their focaccia grilled sandwich and this was also very good. This is a must visit place especially if you are going out with family!

Felt a little apprehensive initially seeing empty chairs. I was proved otherwise. Nice ambience, attentive employees, palatable food, affordable (near to cheap) cost.
If you are looking for a place with good food and decent ambiance than this is the go to place . Initially I was skeptical about the place with empty chairs waiting for us but by the time we finished our food the place was buzzing with people. If you are light on pocket then you must consider this place .

Simple and nice place for dinner with friends and family. North Indian food is good and price is also reasonable. Ambience is quite descent and location make it really nice to be here.
Set in a nice space, bright, airy, clean. Had the paneer tikka, spinach and corn and a mixed veg. Curry. All delicious (although the veg tasted a bit too much of butter!). Nans fluffy and fresh, helpful attentive staff. Very good value too. Definitely will go back.
Huge menu to select from. Never expected such a big menu in a all veg restaurant. And still considering the huge menu the service is fast. Food is also decent enough, as I don't expect much from veg restaurants. Negative point for customers and good point for the owners is that it is crowded in peak times.
Best restaurant for vegetarians in the area with amazing food and great quality , for starters ordered spring roll and mushroom Manchurian ,both of them were appealing and appetizing. Palak mushroom and kaju paneer for gravies ,palak mushroom should be tried for its creamy texture and subtle flavour ,ordered kulcha ,aloo paratha and naan for Breads all were tandoored perfectly ,veg biriyani was okayish and now my fav part the desserts ,sizzler browny was just heavenly ,the sizzle it makes when chocolate sauce is engulfed on that brownie is scrumptious . it's a must try and pocket friendly too

Located inside Kantheerava Stadium Main Gate and closer to Cubbon Park, "Konark Kanteetava" is an almost 7 year old restaurant. This is Part of Konark Hotels Bangalore which is known for their quality food. Over years they have become experts in culinary skills especially in this restaurant.
Though all food is good here. We prefer restaurant on 1st floor where we normally go for lunch or dinner. Their starters and main course is good- especially paneer chilli. Food wise quality is good and so is the service by staff. As a family we like to come here often due to same reason. Do visit if you happen to pass by.

A decent place in the compound of Kanteerava stadium, serving good food. They have limited seating which would become a problem, especially during breakfast time. Food is decent. Vada dambar was good, so was Butter masala dose and open dose. Filter coffee tasted fine too. You will get ample parking space just outside the place, in the main road. Any day, you can visit here to grab a quick breakfast.

This is a decent place to dine just inside Kanteerva stadium gate. We are paneer butter masala, mushroom masala, rotis kulchas and veg fried rice. All of which was of great taste and quality. The service was a little negative aspect. When we called them to take our order, they kept deflecting it to other waiters. The washroom can also be a little cleaner. Other wise, it is good place for quick snack and lunch whenever you are near Cubbon park area.

This hotel is located in one of the prime locations in Bangalore. Less than half a km from UB City. The prices are reasonable considering the place it is located. It is normal, authentic south breakfast hotel which will definitely serve your purpose of saving expensive and worthless junk in UB City if you are planning to hop inside
There are 2 types of dining areas. One is self service and the other is normal.
Self service area is pretty affordable for everyone and taste's good.
The other one also good but bit expensive side.
Overall a good place for vegetarians.
