Set in the feel of actual village style, this is a brahmin style food place. Variety of dishes remind us of festive cooking at home.
Good resturant worth trying...
We accidentally spotted this place while walking towards MTR. The busy crowd gave us an indication that this is some popular place. And we were delighted once we reached there. We tried Akki roti, parota and coffee...very tasty and reasonable. will definitely visit again to binge on their thali.
Visited this place after listening to many raving reviews about it and i must say it did live up to my expectations. Simple and hearty food will be a best way to describe this place. My personal favorite is the dal holige piping hot from the pan!!
Beautiful place for a healthy n hygiene food with multiple option available. Best for quick bite with coffee and yummy south Indian thali..the thali comes up with variety of options at reasonable rate ...they serve akki roti (rice floor roti) raagi roti, plain roti, kulcha, kokum juice, payasam, paneer gravy, daal, chutney, papad, pickel, veg pulav, plain rice with rasam, curd rice...a yummy healthy and tummy full n happy meal.😋

Been at the outlet on the hasan highway. Had a different variety of dosa made up of sprouts. Liked that a lot. The idli vada and chutney were tasty too.

Cool place to have a Sunday afternoon lunch. Didn't go with the unlimited meals as I didn't hear great about it. Tried ragi rotti akki rotti, all types of holiges available at that time and they were amazing! Happy to be here and prices are very good that we can try it All! Mango holige was my favorite and will come back soon for more 😊
Sunday lunch done right! Hallimane Special Thali/Oota.😋❤
Craving for some authentic Halli Oota this place is for you.

Amazing food with good ambience and service.
Every single bite of the food was delicious and perfect. Ambience was clean but the place was crowded. Service was prompt, quick and the staff were polite.
Will head back for some more good food.
Quite pocket friendly and you get good food. Filter coffee, fried rice, akki roti is a must try. It has a good ambience. Going there from years and the food is still nice.
Oneof the oldest joints in bangalore.. Food is average but the Holige made here are exceptional.. 3* for other food, 1* for Holige. Always crowded with lot of poeple. Difficult to get a place to sit
Had been here for lunch today. Went in their self service section ordered a veg North Indian thali. It had a tomato soup, veg gravy, vegetable rice, curd rice, dall curry and roti. The taste of all the curry and rice was good. A very pocket friendly place for a good quick meal.
One of best places to try out all types of food from karnataka.. Really love the 'Obbattu'.. Must try.. Unlimited meals are not worth.. Very less options and not so tasty.. Service is decent.. Really like the desi style ambience..
Food-3.5 Ambience-4 Service-3.5
Wow.. on a Wednesday noon its running packed.. so goes without saying food is good n healthy.. Rustic looks not much frills but amazing taste and flavors.. the pic I have put up is special meal and unlimited I guess. Gorging!! Good food every penny worth. Aah yes if you can drink daal do it. It's mind boggling. Cheers!!
Food is very tasty.. especially Akki roti is too good.. ambiance is ok. There holige is also good.. Bonda soup is yum... Some times you get gase gase payasa which is my all time favourite..
I am visiting this hotel from my childhood. The way they are presenting food is same. There while be crowd always because it is situated in malleshwara one of the busiest area in bengaluru.
Riot of flavours.
A place on a visit list of places.Everyone in the food industry will point u towards this and why not?It makes all the right noise
Ambience:Roof made of mangalore tiles, almost makes u feel u have walked into someine's home with a spiral staircase.Downstairs u can stand and keep ur food on the table and delight ur tastebuds with payassam, sambaar, rice, rasam.Or u go upstairs and enjoy a north thali.
Food:The food here is very basic,no fuss, medium spicy.
Holiage
Palak:This is like no other.Flavours of greenchilli,ginger,garlic stand-out
Dal:Made with pigeon pea lentil. It had greenchilli, ginger, tomato cubes.Easy on the palate with medium to thick consistency.A taste very close to dhabha style
Rasam:It pairs well with plain rice.Medium-spicy.Fresh coconut goes a long way.U can taste all the spices in right balance.
Curdrice:Soothing!Comfort food at its best. With a show-stopper to enhance it further is the mangopickle.
Tarkari Palav:This is a veg pulao. This has a blend of whole spices. It looks sinful.Very tasty.
Akkiroti:Being a staple breakfast of karnataka.Akki means flat.Roti means flat-bread made with rice flour. This is a skillful dish as u hv to wet-pat it flat with ur fingers.
Ragiroti:Unique and all-time fav in karnataka.This has onion greenchilli,coriander.
Vanilla icecream:banana.A saitated meal with simple dessert.
Should u visit?But ofcourse!
Could this be the best breakfast joint in Malleshwaram? I definitely think so!
My breakfast started with Idli Vada, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that they have Sambar here. I took my first bite, expecting sweet Sambar like in all Karnataka style places. But it wasn’t, it was spicy and delicious! So was the chutney, what a combination they made! Then came my breakfast fave, Poori. They serve two Pooris here, with what I can describe as a delicious Kurma.
I was too full to try the Dosa, so I finished with a strong filter Coffee. What a food coma I was in! It’s affordable with fast service, and you’d be better off having your coffee inside than out (people loudly clear their throats and noses right around you). There’s some seating, but I prefer standing at a table to eat. I’m counting the minutes till I come back for that delicious Sambar!
Rasmalai 😍😍😍
This place is best in so many ways but my fav is there sweets.
although people go there for other things but you shoul try there sweets all are just awesome.
#bangalore #food #foodlife

They will surely serve you more on request.
One of the best place for veg food and here you would find the most authentic flavours. Must try is Akki roti. The place gives you the look and feel of a typical village and it's ambience as well
Surprisingly another best reastaurant to try in malleshwaram.i went along with my cousin.the ambience was clean n neat having the vintage look.food was not pricy at all.we tried their masala dosa and coffee.butter masala dosa was very tasty coffee definitely awesome.
Hotel with a village ambience. Menu spreads across south indian, north indian and Chinese. This place also has special meals for festivals and it gathers large crowds.
This is a famous restaurant in malleshwaram and food is also very tasty. Pocket friendly and always crowded. Meals are the best here.its 50 and they give so much , that you can't finish it alone. I eat here every time I visit malleshwaram.
Excellently matched flavours👌🏻I ordered north Indian mini meals and alloo parontha. Superb food at very reasonable prices. A must try for someone looking for quality food
Crowded during weekdays and heavily flooded during weekends. High chances you’d meet your neighbours for lunch here.
Legit Budget lunch keeps you waiting for your table.
received single order , buns is missing
Bhargava Balaji Shriram
+4
They serve varieties of dishes famous in Karnataka and north Indian. The lunch Thali is very great here which is a combination of both north Indian and south Indian. Akki roti and chutney is my favorite here. Have visited this place many times and recently I noticed that they serve obbattu as well. It's always crowded and the ambience is pretty good. Has not changed from a long time. It's a bit over priced as well
One of the best places in Bengaluru for South Indian food! Especially the akki rottis are really amazing here 👌
A must visit place if you want to eat delicious south indian meals.
All time favourite place with veggie friends ,unlimited meal can be completed only by double tummy people. Sweets are too good .coffee is the best .variety of vobbatu is yummy .
The food here is really good. I always feel like visiting this place when I am passing by. I just love habbada oota here, which is really worth trying, also akki and ragi roti is a must try in Halli Mane. Would definitely recommend my friends to try out this place.
Hotel Halli mane is the best place for authentic taste of Halli style.
Best place.
Best taste.
Reasonable price.
Tumbs up for full meals.
U can taste completely nati style of food here
One of the most popular food joints of Malleshwaram. This place is legendary. Crowded almost all day, with people from all walks of life, enjoying everything here.
They have a self service and table service facility.
They serve all Indian cuisines.
We've tried Roti Dal, Chinese, Hollige and a lot of stuff.
Special mention for the Hollige. They serve amazing Holliges.
Pocket Friendly prices, ambience is OK, service is quick.
This place is an all time family favourite.... Ragi and akki roti is what we usually order...love the food,,,,, the place is always crowded.
Authentic south indian place.. had heard a lot about this place finally visited it... everything on the menu is priced reasonable.. quite overcrowded and you would take time to find a place to yourself.. had akki roti and ragi roti 😍😍 overall a nice experience..
Not bad, well but heavy Rush all time, basically nothing to tell all these reviews because I, in this I like obbattu nd averagely like South Indian meals...
I have visited this place with my family. I love the taste ambiance. I can understand as it was a weekend it was bit crowd.
Small suggestion is..while serving the food request the waiters to ask what the customer need and then serve. Instead of wasting the food.
i would recommend to any of my friends also to have a visit here.
This place looks very nice with that Halli tradition and you get good food here for the price but the problem here is servicing is a bit poor. Overall its a good place for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Halli mane was an amazing place for buffet and to eat the best akki and ragi rotti .
Over time the taste has become average and also heat on the pocket.
But I would still recommend the rotti , ragi mudde, North Indian thali, parota and coffee. They still taste really good.
Ambience:3/5
Good:4/5
Value for money:3/5
Service:4/5
The taste is unmatched. Friendly staff. Decent pricing . The only fault being is infrastructure; it's tough to find a spot to sit and eat peacefully!
Always been a fan of hallimane's thalis. It's totally VFM and deliciously prepared in ghee.
The obattus and BBB are delicious.
Also a fan of the dosas.
Awesome! Now I know why halli mane is so famous and crowded. Just had the best bisi bele bath and kesari bath in my life! Apart from taste, quality and quantity is also great! In future if I'm ordering veg food, halli mane is my first choice! Hats off !!
While visiting Bangalore for the first time, this place came up almost in every search result as a highly recommended place to visit for authentic food. We went there for lunch and it did not disappoint us.
It was quite crowded on a Monday afternoon and people were standing for the coupons and with their food outside and inside. There are tables to sit inside as well.
We had Akki Rotti, Ragi Rotti, Dal Holige, Coconut Holige and Badam Milk.
There is a live counter outside so you can watch some of these thnigs getting made for you which is fun.
Overall experience was really good.
Post lunch I tried their coffee which was good as well.
I recommend this place for its ambiance and food.
Akki Roti is damn delicious Neer Dosa would melt in your tounge They have the best polige in Bangalore Hot Coffee from there is a must drink
We been visited this place on Saturday ,
Love the akki roti ,dosa and rava idli ,
With filter coffee ,great combination and had perfect time , definitely visit place for kannadigas
Would be back soon,
Great place to hangout with family and friends, hygiene food with nice ambience. One should try lunch and dinner for which it is well known for.
Would like to discribe about the crowd than the food, which itself will make you to think about the food.
About the crowd....
.Few people will return from outside
.Few will struggle and reach the counter
.Some will be successful in taking token for the food and will be happy to just have food downstairs with self service.
.And legends will reach the top (upstairs for full meal)😊
Definitely this is the sign of good food. Village style ambience will really make you feel MANE (home).
Suggestion - Few live counters are kept outside such as Holige, Rotties, Dosas and tea/coffee/milk, for those who are interested to have these, counter can be kept outside to avoid crowd. Atleast over the weekend.
Lunch Time. 4 April 2015. Unlimited Meal. Visiting place from a very long time and the place is legendary. Dishes are special & unique, has its own taste.
Very popular food point in Malleshwaram. People wait in long queues on weekends. Unlimited buffet is also there. Delicious dishes here make me to come back again and again
Had been to this restaurant to taste the GowriGanesha habbadoota . They had 25+ items on the list. My favorite items from the habbadoota was Kai Holige and kara kadabu. ₹350/- was totally worth it for this meal. This special oota is only available on 17th and 18th September.
Must visit place to have MANGO MAY meal.
It was a nice experience . As the name says the meal is full of dishes made with mango..
Most liked dish was mango rasmalai and mango holige
And the attractive part of having a meal here is that there will be ಬಾಳೆ ಎಲೆ ಊಟ (meal on banana leaf)... i found attractive because its an unique style of having food in our malenad.
There will be queue for having your meal.
Need to take bill and sit and wait for caterrers to serve the food just like having a lunch in marriage hall.
Price :
Adult dine -> 350 rs
Kid dine -> 200 rs
Halli Mane, went to this place after almost a decade. The old city charm still lingers. The decor is of a home setting. The place is known for its South Indian flare.
We went here for the sole purpose of trying their Special Mango Meal. This is indeed an experience in itself. The mango meal was unique and mouth watering. My favourite among all was the Mango Holige and the Mango Rasmalai. The meal is a must try during May month. The cost is 350 each.
Just delicious meals.
I went there for the Mango May event with a few friends. We waited in line for 15-20 mins. The dishes were mostly made out of mango. The highlight for me was Mango Holige. Overall, it was a good experience.
Tried mini south meal, it wasn't really mini and was very filling. Every item was delicious (except for thick chapatis). Place is always crowded during noon. Worth every penny.
First visit and bowled over..Amazing Karnataka cuisine that everyone should definitely try at least once... We had masala dosa, vadas and full meals.
We went there for lunch on a Monday and there was crowd waiting in a long queue. We decided to take the plunge, to the coupon and stood patiently in line. The restaurant is not air conditioned and it was pretty hot waiting there. The queue was managed well. We had to wait for about 20+ minutes and by the time our turn came we were all hungry. The food is served in a setting similar to the weddings in south India. This being a mango season, almost all dishes were of mango staying from aam panna to rasam to Sambhar and even idly and sweet similar to ras malai. All had mango in it. The food was good and priced at Rs 350. You can eat and see yourself if it's worth it for you.
We are there for mango festival, good food try atleast once, special their mango pickle. And i love the masala dosa and poori chenna.
Nice menu no color added. Good food and the ambience. Worthy for 350₹
We had a mango special lunch on 06-06-2023. What a great and authentic food it was...!. The atmosphere, service and quality of food is excellent. In the mango special lunch 99% of the items were made up with mango. It was a superb and memorable food.
A must visit restaurant. We ordered dosa, fresh ghee poli, idly and coffee. Everything was spot on. I am not a fan of sweet sambar and I can't comment on that. The hot fresh ghee poli was gone so quick. We loved the food here. The interior of this place is very traditional and I liked it.
Traditionally feel and atmosphere like!
Good dish’s
Special Place for Special occasions with our special people along with family. Just love it and feeling of Hallimane makes us feels like Home food
The food is good without any doubt. The place is crowded during nine visits out of ten and hence the waiters are so used to expecting people to order dishes one after the other in super quick succession. Even when the crowd is lean, they expect us to have what we would like to and then leave the place. This is a place where we can only have a meal. A short talk after the meal, even on lean.crowd days, is generally given unwelcome looks by the staff.
As it's mango season got to experience mango special meals. It cost Ra 350/- per person and for kids it is 200/-
You will have to take the token and wait for 10- 20 minutes in order to get the table during weekend. They start with aam Panna which was okay. Rest all was just yummy. Treat for taste buds. All items prepared from mango. Staff are friendly. They even provide ice cream. They even provide water bottle
Small suggestion, just make the handwash area a little bigger and make sure water is not leaking
We were 2 people. Meals were good and value for money. Coffee was also good.
