Chinese food (or should I say Indian Chinese? IDK, I haven't been to China) is my comfort food that's coz masalas are my enemy. I fri ND took me here coz I like Chinese and wow! I got fed so well here. We kept is simple - we ordered a non vegetarian friend rice, Chicken gravy and a pork starter. The food wasn't incredible but it was nice and comforting - the reason why I like this food in the first place. And its friendly on the pocket too. If you like Chinese food, please go try this place.
All the food is just excellent, when you eat Indian chinese food you tend to see too much oil in the food. Here its just perfect, not much oil and great taste.

Old is gold is true for these guys. I used to visit their old outlet with the classic old Kolkata red interiors Chinese decor and tablemats that told your Chinese personality type depending on year of birth. 😀 They have now moved to a more modern swanky place. Miss the old world feel, but fortunately the food has stayed pretty much the same. Tasty Kolkata-type Chinese fare in Bangalore. Pretty pricey now, but for those craving a touch of home - this is worth it.

Food: we ordered chicken pad Thai noodles which was good and it had good amount of peanuts.We also had Malaysian chicken noodles it was just alright I felt the pieces of vegetables were to big.

Neat little place on Indiranagar Double Road, it will bound to make you satiating for more.The restaurant is decently decorated, nothing fancy. The menu is super elaborate and gives you a wide variety of options to choose from for every course. Do try their hot and sour variety of soups with wantons. Chicken spring rolls are an absolute crowd pleaser. I forget the name of the chicken starter we had, but it was chicken strips with some chilli flakes and it was out of this world (probably Hunan chicken). A must have. The servings and portion sizes are sumptuous and very generous. Multiple visits to Bangalore Mandarin are warranted for an exquisite Indo-Chinese culinary experience.

Bangalore Mandarin is this lovely Indian Chinese place in one of this so-easy-to-give-it-a-miss part of Double Road in Indiranagar. The crowd for dinner for a weekday was full - and the people around looked like regulars to the place. Coming to the food, the portion sizes are huge - so order accordingly. Everything that we ordered from the chilli chicken, drumsticks, fried rice and noodles were super tasty. A perfect place to take your family out.

Must go place for Chinese food in Indiranagar. I don't any other place serves the Chinese dishes as authentic as they do.
Last week visited Bangalore on a official visit and was craving for some nice Chinese food and got to know about this place.
Bangalore Mandarin is really nice when it comes to its ambiance which gives a authentic Chinese feel to its visitors.
Service was decent but can be improved a bit more as we had to call out for waiters for couple of times for our different orders.
Food was good but couldn't meet my high expectations.
Still would like to give one more opportunity and try one more times.
A simple yet classy place for yummy Chinese. I've been here several times, mostly with family and everyone has always loved the food here.
Recently visited Mandarin and decided to order something I've never ordered before. I tried the Pork steamed wanton in burnt garlic. It was delicious. Too delicious.
And next I ordered the Peking ja mein noodles. It's minced chicken in hot bean sauce on a bed of noodles, so you don't really need a side dish to go with this. I relished it. I'm not sure why I haven't done this before... The whole order something I've never tried before thing. Worked out fantastically well.
The ambience here is lovely, love the lights. And the service is pleasant too. I have absolutely no grouse or concerns with Mandarin, in fact this is one of my favorite Chinese places in Bangalore.

What to order-
• Honey sesame prawns- really tasty sauce which compliments the prawns well and garnished with crispy spring onions makes this a delightful starter.
•Drums of heaven- Crispy coating on the outside and soft juicy meat on the inside, seasoned well. Served with a chilly sauce.
•Crispy thread chicken- spiced chicken covered with crispy noodles really goes well!
•Virgin mojito- a really refreshing drink which has a lot of mint.
•Mixed noodles.
The shredded pork was a tad too oily and dry for my liking.
Good service and amazing place the staff here is the best and so friendly. Feels like home. The music just sets the vibe and the place is perfect to hangout with friends. If you're ever confused where to go please choose just blr it is. You've just gotta try the place for food, music, etc etc

A good option for those Chinense cravings kinda day. Lovely ambience and decor, smooth service too. Soup, noodles, rice or appetizers all of it were great to taste and quantity was good too.
Been a regular visitor here for quite some time now. They have moved to a new location in Double Road, Indiranagar now. The ambience is just brilliant now. Feels like an authentic Chinese restaurant now. It was very calm and peaceful as well with dim lights. The staff was friendly and service was quick. The food was good, however felt the quantity has reduced drastically.

Great service. Tried a clear soup, mixed fried rice and chicken in cashew. There were big chunks of ginger in the soup which was a not so pleasant surprise. The fried rice was good and the quantity was also quite good. Could easily satiate atleast 2 people. The chicken starter had a lot of veggies making it a healthy choice but not something really for the taste buds. Nothing special about the ambience.
A very calm place to eat yummy Chinese food.
The ambience of this place is very attractive - it has some interesting Chinese art work and cozy seating. The service is to the point - quick and attentive waiters. The place is very recently priced - especially if you have Zomato Gold. Coming to the food - the quantity suffices for two people and they have a lot of vegetarian options (not sure how authentic it is though). The burnt garlic rice coupled with friend cauliflower in chilli bean sauce is one of my favorites. The chilli chicken was okay - it lacked flavours and has excess amount of salt. Their mustard chilli chicken is a must try.
I recommend this place if you are looking to fulfill your Chinese food cravings.
They have yummy desi chinese food. I will not worry about my chinese cravings in Bangalore again. Garlic flavored dim sums are must try. They close their home deliveries more often than not.. 🙂

A place for authentic Chinese at Indiranagar?
This is the one! I have been a frequent customer for the past 7 years and this place never failed to disappoint. Not as cheap as other Chinese outlets but prices are very deserving for the restaurant ambience and authentic quality food.
Zomato gold was redeemed hassle-free. Polite and knowledgeable staff. Food quality is good. One of the best Chinese joints in Indiranagar. Happy with the visit.
Best Chinese food restaurant in Bangalore for sure. The variety never disappoints. Can’t wait to come back over and over till I’ve tasted everything on the menu and then come back again!
The ambience is really simple and beautiful. Wonton soup that we had was awesome. The best part was tofu threads!! It was so crispy and the spices were blended perfectly! The meefon that we ordered could have been better. The staffs were friendly and helped us choose the best from their menu.

Everything was amazing. they serve Kimchi salad which is complimentary and was amazing. Tom yum soup is authentic and a must try one.

Aww I am so relieved that finally we can reduce the drive through traffic to China Pearl, Koramangala. China Pearl was the place till date we always visited whenever we felt like having good chinese. Bangalore Mandarin we have recently figured through some friends and luckily this place is close to my place and of course they serve yumm chinese food as well.
The craving for China pearl food would now probably be compensated by the taste of food in Mandranin. The pan fried noodles and mastard chicken was very very nice that we ordered. & this place is of course now added in our regular visited places in Bangalore.
The 25 yrs old Chinese restaurant in Bangalore, location and the over all ambience is good. Staffs are very friendly. And the food...well it’s good. The soup we ordered was average but the mixed fried rice and kung pao chicken was good, the Xian Chicken Sticks as starter was not bad. Overall a good restaurant for chinese food lovers..!!

Bangalore Mandarin was not hard to find cause of Google Maps.
If it wasn't for maps then I would have never found it.
For some reason , the road that it's located on , I always and almost never see up and that's where it's located .
However , it is no hidden gem , I went on a Friday evening and it was packed.
We used Zomato Gold and the bill was very very less. Thank you Zomato Gold.
However without it as well , the place is very affordable.
The staff was friendly and the place neat and clean.
We ordered burnt garlic fried rice with Hunan Chicken ( Gravy )
Manchow soup , American Cho Suey,a deep fried corn starter and some wontons.
The meal was very very satisfying.
Portion size was respectable.
However the American Chop suey was horribly off.
I would honestly request you not to order that.
Otherwise it was an very pleasent experience and I would definitely go again.
This is our go to place when we crave for some indo-chinese. Their hot and sour soup is the best. Food is tasty, service is good, above average ambience, also pocket friendly.
Well maintained chinese place in Indiranagar. Liked the wonton and the mandarin noodle. Service is good with courteous staff. Price is a tad bit on the higher side. Otherwise the place surely doesn't disappoint.
The best Chinese food I have had in Bangalore. Everything they serve is top notch. The prices are reasonable too. The ambience is great. The staff is very polite and the service is quick. All in all, if you are looking for Chinese food, look no further.
The place looks nice and has a nice view outside the window. The staffs are polite and courteous.
We wanted to have chicken lollipops which weren’t there in the menu but they made for us and that was the most tastiest dish there. I think they should definitely include it as a part of their menu.
In the main course there was mixed mandarin noodle which lived upto the mark and chilli prawns that were quite disappointing as it was told that it will be spicy but it wasn’t.
Veg items included veg schezwan noodle and crispy potato in sweet chilli sauce which was tasty. Quantity is really satisfactory for the price.

After searching for a good Chinese restaurant we landed up here being skeptical as how the food would turn up to be , we ordered for pork wontons with burnt garlic and beacon wrapped prawns I must say I have found a perfect Chinese restaurant in the whole of Bangalore . The food there was beyond amazing right from starters to the main course . A must visit if you peeps are looking out for a good Chinese restaurant 👍🏻

Nice little chinese place in indiranagar. The ambiance is okayish. Food and service will make you visit again. Drums of heaven, basil fried rice and singapore noodles were something that impressed us on our last visit.
If you want to be gastronomically delighted, then Bangalore Mandarin is the place to head. Lotsa fare to choose from and one can be assured that it is never going be the overpowering Indochinese. Try it and you will enjoy it.
This is one of our frequently visited places for the last 10+ years... and we have seen how the prices have increased and quantity has decreased... I still the rate this place higher just for the good quality food they still provide and for the very reason that they have been able to stay consistent over the years... My favorites here are Lemon Coriander/Pepper soup, Chicken Manchow Soup, Chicken Salt and Pepper, Basil Chicken, Thai Chicken.... Ambiance is very nice, service is fast... They add MSG by default, so you need to specify if you want that to be skipped...
One thing is they are extremely indianised version of Chinese... so if you are looking for authentic chinese then this definitely is not the place for you....
I order regularly through Zomato from Bangalore Mandarin. Their soups are great, manchow being my personal favourite. Other things like veg balls in manchurian sauce, noodles are great too. Good place with expansive menu and big portion sizes.
I have gone to this chinese restaurant quite a number of times. It is a very affordable chinese restaurant and the quality of food is top notch. The staff is friendly too..
We ordered few items from the menu:
1)virgin mojito- It was quite refreshing
2)prawn tempura- crispy fried prawns with some fried veggies and sauce..bland in taste but blends well with the sauce and it is cooked to perfection.
3)Mongolian fish fry- This is a basa fish fried till golden brown colour..it was not crispy but the fish was fresh and it was tasty along with the sauce.
4)Singaporean noodles- Well this was little dry but it was mixed with chicken pieces. Again this was bland in taste and it's average..
Overall a must visit restaurant if you are a Chinese food lover..

The staff are courteous and we are really glad to see old staff, which the restaurant has retained over many years. The restaurant has been consistent, In serving the same delicious taste and quality of food.
We had soup, drums of heaven, crispy corn, my favourite fish 🐟 thai style, burnt garlic rice and some lemonade. Everything was made perfect.
Owners and staff are so positive and have smile on their faces. loved the experience as always. The place always meet upto its expectation.

Have been here a couple of times over the years. However whenever I visit this place have ended up repeating my orders. The reason being am rarely drawn towards Chinese Cuisine these days.
My favourite orders here would be Dragon chopsuey which is full of Veggies / Chicken & the Manchow soup Veg / Chicken. On some occasions have tried their Thread chicken, Butter garlic fried rice, Chilly chicken etc. Have never been disappointed with the food, ambience and prices ranging between cheap and expensive.
We walked out of a restaurant nearby because of terrible service and Bangalore Mandarin made up for what may have turned out to be a terrible night. Amazing food, extremely courteous service and our entire order of starters and main course was served under 10 mins!
Food was really really good! Definitely coming back here th next time we're here.

Authentic Chinese restaurant with good ambience.. located in double road, Indiranagar. Tried Mandarin special fried rice and noodles (loved both). Perfect. Golden prawns was nice and juicy. Xian sticks and Drums of heaven were worth to mention. Overall nice experience. Menu items are charged not so high - in 300’s..

My all time favourite Chinese restaurant since 2009. I look for comfort food and Bangalore Mandarin pops in my head as one of the options to make me happy 😁. It feels like an authentic Chinese restaurant and my personal favourites- veg manchow soup, anything to do with paneer in starters along with burnt garlic veg fried rice. My folks who eat non- vegetarian are alright with almost everything that's available in their menu ☺️ pricing is moderate. Ambience transports you to some part of China, a cosy restaurant and warm and courteous staff.
Visited the place for the first time, to celebrate my wife s birthday. And the atmosphere was just perfect, and ambiance was good, food was really awesome, (Compliment to The Chef). And service was nice ,the staff was very courteous. Will be back soon.
