Soups:
1) Tomato- nothing special about it. Just a normal old cream of tomato soup.
2) Raindrop soup- tried different something this time. It was mainly composed of broccoli. Tasted good and spicy!
3) Brown ginger soup- similar to a Chinese manchow soup. Great taste.
Starters:
1) Veg ball Manchurian- this was BAD. The balls were very soft and were not Cooked properly. Would not recommend this.
2) Rangeela paneer tikka- a regular paneer tikka with 3 different colours to it, orange, green and white (hence the name rangeela).
It was a bit spicy. Nothing amazing about this dish.
Main course:
Subzi zayekedar- this dish was honestly tasty. I liked the little mashed paneer amidst a variety of vegetables. I could feel the cashew masala in this! Would recommend it!
Rice:
Nothing fancy. Just took Dal Kichdi and Eshanya did not disappoint me here. It was good.
Overview:
The soups and main course were great, no doubt about it! But they really need to improve on their starters. Nice rooftop area with amazing ventilation. The service was good.
Visited on a weekday and place was pretty much half filled. Good ambience , we were two people whose tummy filled just with starters cuz quantity was huge. We ordered Soya manchurian and Roasted pineapple juice ! Manchurian was very tasty , juice was very average. A good place to visit with family.
We tried the Shorbas which was very good. Thye were spicy as indicated but very tasty. The side dishes were also good. Gajar halwa was a highlight. Rooftop was noisy, but a very good place for a family to eat out.
Great place for a good vegetarian feast. Their style of preparation is quite unique and might surprise you. Must visit place for vegetarian North Indian cuisine lovers.
It's a roof top restaurant in Jayanagar :')
I tried eshanya chef special pulav which was damnnnn tastyyyyyy :)))), starters is a must try :))))
A great place for North Indian and Chinese cuisine. It's better to reserve a table beforehand, especially on weekends to avoid the long queue. A good spread of choices in starters and main course. Friendly staff and quick serving. Have been to this place quite often and it doesn't disappointđ
To be visited on a breezy late evening. It's an open terrace restaurant with a nice ambience. Pre reservations not allowed. Do go a li'l early in order to grab a table. Post 8PM crowd starts setting in and waiting time is too long. Jain food is available as well. Marinated Paneer starter was the best.
A really good vegetarian hotel in Jayanagar! Good staff! The terrace has a beautiful view and good air! The food is tasty and the service is fast! The staff is really courteous. The waiting is a little bit too much but worth the wait! Avoid Sunday afternoon specially!
The food here is just amazing ,( i can't explain with words though) ,the manchow soup is better than the Chinese restaurants and the Amritsari veg kadai is what you have to try if you love spicy ,the veg biryani is really good.
Really loved the food here. Visited the roof top restaurant for dinner. The starters were really good. Absolutely loved the kaju matar pulav
A fan of this place!! Been there on a weekday for lunch, wasn't too crowded. A rooftop place, quickly got started with palak bhutta shorba, the shorba was indeed splendid. Ordered Lahori subzi sheekh, Jeera rice and paneer chhole sabji whose name I'm not able to recall.
None of the dishes disappointed us.
Went here for a quick lunch with three colleagues of mine.
It has a roof top option and an interior option. We went to the roof top one. The ambience is decent with a live kitchen.
Should be good during the nights. Staff were too transactional. Could have been a bit cordial. Service was a bit slow, but its fine.
Menu was extensive for a pure veg restraunt. They have a meals option as well. We went with the alacarte as we had two Zomato golds for a table of 4.
Starting with masala papad. It was decent. Had better ones before, so could not say great. It was crispy with a lot of onions and tomatoes. 3.5/5
Panneer tikka - Again, it was decent in proportion, taste. Just the capsicums could have been even in size and an additional bell pepper or grilled tomato would have rocked it. 4/5
Veg kurkure - Star of the visit-5/5.
Though they look like harabara kebabs, they were cooked well with a tiny splash of cheese inside oozing out of the piece. It was very well done.
We had buter kulcha, roti and butter roti. They were decent.
Main course - Dal fry. A bit bland, but was decent.
Pancha something - Its a mixed vegetable kind of sabzi, but was tasty with lots of vegetables and gravy.
We were full by then, so portion sizes did not matter. Else, I felt that portion sizes of main course were smaller.
Price - Reasonably priced.
Good place we had Chinese here food was pretty decent it is located in jayanagar .and more over they have ome us one on zomato gold as well .
First to mention is about the ambiance, rooftop, awesome view of the greenery during the day. Food quality and quantity are good. Gets crowded during the weekends.
Very nice roof top restaurant. We got seat very fast. Service was fast and good. Food was very tasty. Lemon coriander soup was ultimate. I recommend this place
I was there with my family and we had a quality of time here we had tasted many item every item was fabulous and delicious and hotel people was well guided about the itmes and also also the service was dam good
Decent place for a family lunch.
Dishes:
Dal shorbha : dish done well
Amritsari broccoli: was ok
Baby corn Angara: was good
Crispy corn : very tasty
Butter roti: could have been better
Amritsari Kasai and one more curry ( I don't remember the name) : decent
Nice place for lunch with your family and friends. Highly sophisticated ambience and polite staff. The menu offers a good variety. They also provide their special menu which ot easier for you to decide on what you may want to eat and it is economical too! Desserts are amazing and are the 'must have' items on the menu.
The best place for vegetarians, quantity n quality of fod is best as per the price. Hospitality is good too. The staffs r much co-operative and best part is worthy to b a Zomato gold partner.
We went for a quick lunch to eshanya's rooftop dining. The ambience feels like a no fuss restaurant with a live kitchen.
We went with the table de hote menu and boy was that value for money!
With a hearty bowl of minestrone followed by paneer tikka and stir fried veggies for appetizers we were already impressed with eshanya's quality. By the time we finished our main course (a few Indian gravies, pulao, rotis and curd rice to be precise) we were almost too full for dessert.
But then the waitstaff brought in a steaming bowl of gajar halwa and we dove into the food once again. The waitstaff were kind and kept coming back to check and re serve what we liked.
Verdict: all the above in 350 bucks, that too in an easily accessible place that is purely Vegetarian? Go for it!
Nice place good food . Decent ambience . Can be better . Service was also okay . It is located in Jayanagar and it even has gold 1+1 on food .
A rooftop restaurant with a good ambience and a courteous staff. The food is delicious and most of them are a worth trying. For mushroom lovers, 'stuffed mushroom' is must try. It's filled with spices and tastes good.
Good veg family restaurant. Both the rooftop ambiance and food were great. Habiba, sunset cooler mocktails, Hara bara kabab and spring rolls were awesome.
Best place in south bangalore for pure veg food. Good service with great hospitality. Enjoyed the roof top ambience. Looking forward to get there again soon with family.
Have visited Eshanya twice. Once during winters and the second visit was in March. The food served is delicious and the staff is courteous. But for a rooftop restaurant in this scorching summer, they don't have ceiling or pedestal fans. We were literally sweating and could not really relish the food served. Probably it's high time they consider the convenience of the customers.
Quick service, great food and a loads of quantity.. The only downside is the wait.. But man they are worth it... Total family crowd... A typical Jayanagar place!!!
We went for a lunch on last Sunday. It was more crowded and we had to wait for 30 minutes. But the waiting was worth after we got our food. Taste was good as well the ambience. So better if you are going on weekends go little early.
Excellent Food !!!
Roof top pure vegetarian restaurant.
Loved every thing we ordered.
Must try is chinese , corn seek kabab..
Service is slow.
It toook us almost one hour to complete our dine.
Once you order it will take atleast 20 min even though the crowd is less ( might be because of some online order)
Good part is you can see the kitchen from the glasses and its hygenic .. very clean..
I am satified with experience. Just they need to serve quicker.
Restaurant is located in a decent locality and itâs a rooftop pure vegetation restaurant and has got great ambience. Visited few times, restaurant is sparsely crowded during weekend. They have buffet lunch, although less spread of menu.
Food taste is good and decent to visit with family and friends.
I visited with my parents they loved ambience and the food. â¤ď¸
It is a roof top restaurant with good atmo, service is quick, food was fantabulous...
They have variety of starters.. Tandoori broccoli was good..I strongly recommend this restaurant..You can dine with your colleagues or friends and family..Good experience..4.5 stars
A nice place for family. A pure vegetarian restaurant serving great food and courteous team we tried a few dishes and all were good. We used the Zomato gold which was a bonus đ
My second visit to Eshanya, and it did not disappoint. The staff is indeed very courteous, their service efficiency is perhaps second to none. We ordered the coriander kaali mirch shorba and the Eshanya special platter, the shorba was awesome, I will add this might as well be their signature dish. The platter, besides the cauliflower, we enjoyed the rest that was on offer. It was very filling. The zaykedar sabji in the main course was ok, nothing spectacular.Â
We love Eshanya for its ambience as well, we went there for lunch and it was hot outside, and yet the terrace setup was pleasant. Kudos to the Eshanya team for maintaining high quality and standards on everything you offer.
Good place for veg food. Really loved the ambiance. Service was damn good and must try the corn starter. It was a good experience to eat such good veg food after a long time.
Very nice roof top ambience. Good food. Vegetable noodles soup was good. Sizzling brownie was really sizzling. Panneer Tikka was tasty. Overall good experience
This is a family place for dinner. The quality and the quantity of the food is very good! The service is fast even in weekends. You have to wait at least 30 mins to get a table on weekends! Paneer chilly and dal takda is a must try ! Already visited 3 timesđ
The food was good as always the service was also quick
The best part about that place is the open air theme and you feel so good and fresh when you have food there especially when itâs raining
Itâs a must place to visit đ
The ambience is very nice. With rooftop sitting which is lovely during summer evenings .The decor is done with the basic theme of the restaurant. The food here is good and value for money, specially the Chinese ones. The quantity is great too.Must try Mushroom Chilli. However the wait time is quite a bit especially during dinner hours.
This is a rooftop hotel, situated in the same building as rooftop. I visited last Sunday evening , as I wanted to meet a friend. Initially we thought that being vegetarian only and no-alcohol, crowd would be less, but it was fully crowded right at 8 pm and we had to wait a bit.Â
We had Tomato Shorba, and Spring Rolls. Both were nice and tasty also quite filling. Curd Rice was nice as well.Â
Would certainly visit again with family.
Eshanya as the name says is on the northeastern part of jayanagar!
The ambient simplicity and the amazing food in a roof top make an evening very memorable here.
Must try: Paneer Tikka
#rajeshwrites
We had been here for a birthday celebration and this was not our first choice. However, I had been here few times and was impressed with the food. So suggested this place.
This place used to be a quiet place, but for my surprise it was crowded and loud. This is the only part that was not good.
The food was tasty and they also serve Jain food (any dish). The service was bit slow. The price is bit on a higher side but quality and quantity was according to it as well. The staff here are very friendly. Itâs a good restaurant for a large group than a small group.
Would I recommend it ? Yes, I would.
Itâs a rooftop restaurant . Food was wonderful with some amazing starters with new names. We have tried nanhe aalo , tandoori broccoli and Russian salad , everything was perfect.
Loved it , if you are looking for good restaurant must visit.
One of the best roof top resturant in Bangalore with good number of recipes with delicious food for a luxurious dining â¤ď¸ must try unlimited thali which is totally worth it
1.Atmosphere- super,
2.soups-manchow, hot n sour -spicy and tasty
3.paneer sattey-good
4.parathas - generous stuffing
Overall a very hygienic place and good food
Ellarigu Namaskara!
Was here during one of the weekdays, It was little crowded and food was really good.Â
Veg soup was yumm, Mushroom dishes were tasty.Â
Overall a good place for food lovers.
This is the 1st rooftop restaurant in jayanagar 9th block few years. It's located next to ssmrv college. Ground floor is cake wala, 1st floor is a party hall, 2nd floor has AC dining and 4th floor is the rooftop restaurant.
Have always been a fan of their thali during weekdays. Their a la carte has some great dishes. Tomato soup wasn't good. Hara bhara kabab was crispy and tasty. Mint chutney was done well. Butter kulcha with Kashmiri bhutta curry was next level. It was so unique and delicious. Veg biriyani was also done really well.
Their service is prompt. It's the best place for a vegetarian and you also get Jain food available here. Ambience of rooftop is bliss.
Awesome experience on a breezy evening. The resturant is located at a great location.
Some must try delicacies include manchow soup, paneer tikka and Dal makhani.
It's a perfect family restaurant.there service is excellent and really quick. It will be really too much crowded on weekends but the staff over here manages it very well.Yummiest food is served here
Awesome food... Especially manchow soup and sizzling brownie.. It's yummy. . Must try.. Also tried the babycorn angara which was bit spicy and also the veg hakka noodles was good.. Would like to visit again
It's one of the classic and finest restaurant I have ever been to. Would strongly recommend this for casual dining with family and Friends. Must visit atleast once for a nice experience.
People have to come early to this place... Its going to be crowded otherwise...
Vegetarians will love this place... And even the non vegetarian will do so. 4 star to food, staff and 3 star to ambience.
Great place for lunch, especially with family. Decent and good ambiance. Mocktails and food were very tasty except the spring rolls, which tasted weird. We liked corn methi pulao the most. Overall, it was a good experience.
The food is good, but few dishes are really spicy, so please check before ordering ,if you can't take spicy food. The ambience is also very nice , roof top
Eshanya the restaurant Nice place and QSR(QUICK SERVICE RESTAURANT ) live kitchen I like it
Food is very good and services is really wonderful..
If you are a vegetarian & looking for a decent place to dine, this place is worth trying.. Great food & nice roof top ambience... I would give 0.5 star extra for the variety of delicious jain food that they have in the menu.
One of the best veg restaurant in Bangalore with tasty n yummy food.
Service is also very good.
The most important is the ambience which is white n cool.
This is a great place to visit with family / friends. Food is excellent. The best part of Eshanya is the roof top dining. Service is quick. Overall it's a good place to visit.
The starters here are to go for, pick any you wouldnât think twice of ordering it again. The music could a little louder so that traffic noise is reduced.
Came here for lunch and a got a table in the rooftop area. The ambience of this restaurant is really very good.Specially the seats near the edges give you a good view.
Had ordered babycorn satay, paneer hara pyaz And roti ki Tokri.
The roti ki Tokri contains a plain naan, roti, kulcha, missi Roti, stuffed kulcha(probably mix veg stuffing)and a lacha paratha. All were extremely good and it can fill more than two people.
The paneer hara Pyaz was good but I'd suggest you order the panner butter masala here as I've heard its excellent.
The babycorn satay has peanut sauce. Though my friend didn't like peanuts he liked the babycorn satay. I personally found it average and it was heavy on the stomach. The first two sticks taste good then it gets boring.
Also the customer to staff ratio is really good so you don't have high waiting times.
Food:8/10
Staff:10/10
Ambience:8.5/10
Had booked party hall recently. Had a Nice experience. Banquet manager Shanti Kumar was a single point of contact for entire event. Food, decorations was good.
