Ghee-roast done right, pulimunchi which is complex *and* fiery, neer dosa that is oh-so-delicate - this place does all the mangalorean classics in style. Add in friendly service, and prices that are not crazy, and, well, you'd be crazy to not go back!
Note though - I can't vouch for anything that *isn't* Mangalorean. The menu is enormous, but hey, caveat emptor...
Visited many times only to have masala fried seafood and ghee roast seafood along with giest beers.
I have been a regular with this chain .
The thalis are always consistent .
I do like the chicken thali on weekdays as well
Excellent. Right from the soul kadi to the prawn ghee roast, fish koliwada (that my son loved), anjal curry, neer dosa and fermented appams, everything was lip-smacking. I didn't like the sweet ragi mani which was dense, having had a much lighter version elsewhere but this was just one negative in a dinner that had only high points. Yes, it is expensive.
Fantastic ambience combined with great mangalorean food! Try prawn ghee roast with neer dosa, the geist brew also is a must try
Had been seeing this place since a while and I finally got a chance to visit this place . I just say that the food was delectable!
We ordered:
Hot and Sour chicken soup
Sweet corn chicken soup
Chicken Ghee roast
Honey sesame chicken
Appam, Neer dosa and Sanna's
Mangalorean Chicken curry
Clam Sukkha
I really loved the soups, Chicken Ghee roast and Clams. The dosa's were made just as if they were prepared at home.
The food quantity was also decent but the dishes are a little on the pricier side but worth the taste.
Ambience is great and they also have a bar attached.
Staff are courteous and ensure that you have everything in place .
I had a good experience here and would recommend anyone looking out for places serving coastal cuisine to give this place a try.
One of the best mutton ghee roast i had till date. Food is worth it, one must try
Excellent place for seafood. We ordered Pomfret Masala Fry, Prawn Sikka and Crab curry. All the dishes were perfectly done and really good.
Ambience : 5

Visit anupam's to try the best sea food specially in the mangalore style. In mumbai also I have tried mangalorian style of food but this just got way better. I mean hands down the food was outstanding.
Had been to this place with my cousin's. I absolutely loved the seafood here. Had been to Koramangala coast to coast and I didn't like it much. But in here the ambience is amazing so is the services.
As we were total of around 15 members we had ordered multiple starters and drinks.
We ordered prawns ghee roast, crab ghee roast, shellfish and squids.
We did order neer dosa and gravy too.
My favourite was the crab ghee roast it had amazing flavour and taste. Presentation was nice too. I still feel like having more of it.
My rating 5/5 based on taste quality and presentation.
Shellfish ghee roast :
Also known as kubbe Ka sukka was like homemade. I absolutely loved it's taste presentation and quality.
My rating 5/5
Prawns starter:
This was bland didn't have much of flavours in it. Didn't like it much but it's yes if you have kids or you someone who prefers non spicy.
My rating 3/5 based on taste quality and service.
Neer dosa:
This was thin nice and delicious. However price portion size is unfair.
My rating 4/5. One star low for the price
Lime soda:
I absolutely loved it. Perfect for digesting my food and finishing off my food
My rating 5/5 based on taste price and quality.

It's a shame that I Haven't visited this place ever. The food here is so delicious. I loved Pomfret masala fry, Mackerel green masala fry, Seer Tawa Fry, crab ghee roast, prawn ghee roast, need dosa, appam, stew, lady fish curry, Kerala boiled rice, ragi mane and lime soda. These were my favorite from this visit.
This was my first visit to Coast II Coast and the place did not disappoint us. The food, service, staff's attitude was all very good. We tried their beer which was cold and decent. The food stole the show though. We had chicken ghee roast, baby corn ghee roast with neer dosa. Very good experience and I am definitely looking forward to visiting this place again to try their other food items.
I had heard a lot about this place, finally got a chance to visit it as well.
Coast || Coast, a place known for its sea food.
The staff here was nice really and courteous, made sure we were comfortable kept checking on us.
Loved the ambience and the theme as well. However, I liked the food but did not love it. Tried the Prawns ghee roast and paneer ghee roast with neer dosa.
The ghee roast has pretty strong masala and is quite spicy, thank god for the beer to balance out my spice.
The portions served were also quite small for the prices. Pretty expensive place overall.
Must visit if you want to try Mangalorean cuisine. Neer dosa and ghee chicken combo is unbeatable. But fish starter items were expensive.
Fish thali- fish curry was ok but good for the price.
Anjar fish fry- tasted like ghee chicken and expensive
Anjar rawa fry- Great !!!must try
Litchie with Rabdi- this was awesome too and must try..
Chicken Manchow soup and crab soup- Tasted good
Outstanding is the word to describe this place. Being a mangalorean in Bangalore, I was always devoid of an authentic Mangalore experience until I visited this place. They have amazing Mangalore dishes. One must not miss the Egg/Chicken Ghee roast with neer dosa combination. Fish was fresh. The Ambience is amazing. Price though was on a higher side. I had to pay 640bucks for an anjal ghee roast. Apart from the price factor, the place doesn't disappoint.
Visited few days back. Food taste is very good.
Sea food is fresh. Mangalore cuisine. Neer dosa and marvai Sukka is good. Fish masala fry is just dilicious. Crab ghee roast is one of the best to be tried here
One of the best sea food restaurant in city, yummy ghee roast,
A taste of kudla here in Bangalore
Boil rice n prawn gheee roast ❤️
Neat n clean
Our second seafood place in quick succession. For sure I can tell you the beer is not as cold.
And overall, I would say the food is a lot lot more spicy than at the SeaRock. The chicken ghee roast came loaded with green chillies. The kane tawa fry (medium pieces) were alright. But the anjal fish pulimunchi was by far the spiciest.
We had to balance it out with the ragi manni and a lychee rabdi. This was great.
But with all that food the rest afternoon was a write off.
Anupam's is a must go for people who want to try Mangalorean food.
Someof the must tries are
Kari roti which comes along with chicken curry
Rawa fish fry : you can surely choose the fish you wanna try
Must have chicken ghee roast
Neer dosa and a curry of your choice.
The only thing is this place is super crowded which made the service little slow.
The mackerel fish curry and rice stole the show for me.
The fried mackerel wasn't that well with the burnt and overdose of spices.
I think they can improve it.
But the basic fish curry and rice is a must must try for all visiting here.
Cheers

Amazing and tasty food!!
your one stop for great coastal cuisine.
The new Anupam’s coast to coast on Church street hidden among various other eateries, is a must visit for all you Mangalorean cuisine lovers. Had been there recently and munched on some yummy neer dosa, chicken ghee roast, Kane fry..thumbs up!!
Food is great and pricing is fair. Service is all so good except one issue. They've tables for 2 near the windows. If you're one or two people they ask you to sit there while it's quite uncomfortable and sunny sometimes. This is done even though they other tables are still to he occupied. Hope the management rearranges the space
One of the best place for authentic mangalorean sea food. And the ghee roast varieties in chicken and prawns. Top rated dish. We had fish rava fry and pulimunchi with neer dose. Great hospitality and management. Would definitely visit this place again.
Coast II Coast has been my favourite for more than a decade now and it has never disappointed me. Whenever I crave for an authentic Mangalorean meal, this is the restaurant I go to. Besides their signature dish - ghee roast, my favourites are Kundapur chicken curry with pundi (rice dumplings), chicken sukka and fish fry. And an absolute favourite is ragi manni in dessert. The ambience is spacious and lovely. The service and hospitality by staff has always been prompt and warm. Giving it a 5 rating for always living up to my expectations every single time.
Anupams Coast to Coast is a place I often visit when I am home sick. The food is distinctly Mangalorean, more Tulu than Konkani (for the nuanced), but unbelievably homely and nostalgic. My best bests are the fish thali, marwai sukka (cockles in a thick grated coconut sauce) and ghee roast.
Totally loved this place! Went there on a Easter Sunday noon for lunch with wifey. Great hospitality and service. We ordered their chicken speciality 'ghee roast chicken' with neer dosa and appam. As a started we went for Rawa fried fish (pic added). All items were yummy! I had a few drinks as well which were moderately priced. We left the place happy . Going back here for sure. :)

Finally, made it to this restaurant as the love of ghee roast brought me here.
Sweet and sour soup was spicy!
Hands down, chicken ghee roast was yummmm with neer dosas.
Anjal tawa fry was alright, a little pricey.
Sol kadi wasn't that great...it was kinda sweet, I've had better ones.
Ragi manni, the dessert was disappointing...it hardly had a natural flavor or taste. 2 bites and it was a leftover...I believe there was too much agar agar...it was hardened rather than being wobbly.
Mangalorean ghee roast items are a must try.
Price for 2 for a good meal can be around 2.5K
I had anjal masala fish fry. It was good (fried a little more than necessary though) . Had boiled rice and kane curry. Kane curry was very tasty!! Being a mangalorean , i can say that this is one of the amazing kane curry I have had.
Good food with friendly staff. Well maintained place with good hygiene. I just got to taste the boneless fish semi dry (loved the spiciness) along with neer dosa and mutton biryani. The biryani had crispy onions in it which gives a good flavor. Recommended for sea food lovers. Bar is attached as well 😀
This is the first I have been there, well I'm impressed with the quality of the food there...
We ordered a spicy crab soup, which was excellent. Next was a spicy Anjal fish fry was crazy 😍
For the main course, we had neer dosa with metti malai curry was a lit😍😍. At last boiled rice with chicken curry .. combo was also good
I win definitely recommend to my frds for a South coastal food experience
Great Mangalorean food. Especially enjoyed the Chicken Ghee Roast and Prawns Masala Fry that were just incredible. Very close to the MG Rd. Metro Station too!
Came here last week and had a great meal. Really fresh fish and awesome Chicken Ghee Roast and Chicken Sukka. The only issue was that the building security guard seemed bent on kicking people off the property even if they are paying customers waiting for a taxi. Hope the management can help with that else it may sour a lot of customer experience and people may end up thinking twice about returning to the outlet.
Oh man their ghee roast!! it’s so addictive. We initially planned to have ghee roast as starter and then order thali. We ended up order multiple plates of neer dhosa and finishing the prawn and the chicken ghee roast we got.
We also tried the ragi manni which also a must try here.
I visited this place on a weekday afternoon with my mom. The whole place is done in a way so as to give an oceany vibe. The tables are not crowded around each other. The entire atmosphere is kind of calming, giving a laid back vibe.
The staff were extremely polite and the service was excellent.
We ordered Prawns Biryani, Silver Fish Rava Fry and Egg Ghee Roast.
The Ghee Roast is the USP of this place and this surely did stand up to its reputation. Definitely the best ghee roasts I have had.
The Silver Fish Rava Fry was neatly done and tasted good.
The Prawns Biryani wasn't a typical Mangalorean style biryani. It was more of a Hyderabadi one. It was good and went really well with the Ghee Roast Masala. However I found it a tad bit oily.
Great.. restaurant. great. service. food. was. really amazing ghee roast chicken kingfish. masala. fry. overall. it was. amazing i come back again
The food is as usual - tooo good!! Chicken Ghee roast and neer dosas are my go to here! However, the items on the menu have doubled in price recently! I think twice before going to anupam's coast to coast unlike before. I humbly request them to reduce the price cos its really painful on the pockets of college students.
If you like Mangalorean cuisine then this place exactly meets the standards!! A very decent environment suitable for family. The fish served is fresh and really tasty! Don't forget to try the ghee roast dishes
The fish thali is definitely something to try out here loved the spread especially the fish curry which goes well with the boiled rice
The prawns and squid roast are the best dishes here you definitely have to order them
Coming to the ambience, very well done 👍🏻
Ambience:4/5
Food:4/5
Would definitely visit this place again
Ultimate food destination for coastal foodies. I tried neer dosa, chicken pulimunchi, fish tawa fry, and not to forget ghee roasts... And they all so yummy. It's strategically placed at mg road, but still feels secretive. I've recommended this place to all my friends who crave for sea food in blore.
The ambience has improved from their previous location. The prawn ghee roast and neer dosa combination was excellent! The kokum drink, sol kadi, was also very good and refreshing. However the other dishes we ordered were only average - the rava coating for the rava fish fry was thicker than usual, and the fish pulimunchi was lacking flavor unfortunately.
Where should I start ? Of course it should be their richly spiced, mouth watering ghee roast chicken. Couple that with appams and neer dosa and you have one of the best comfort food that the city can offer. Wash it down with your choice of alcohol. Yours truly prefers to do that with lime soda. A good meal is topped off with their fluffy custard pudding. A lot of people frequent this place for the seafood but I have a standard set menu. Best place to visit during the monsoons and winter.
Had heard a lot about this place... Very famous for its Ghee Roast chicken/ prawn/ crab. They were great, spicy of course.. But truly speaking all the three tasted the same.. The masala was the same, so try any one of these. Neer Dosa and Appam complement them best. Service is very very slow, especially if you order non-veg items. Word of caution..have limited amount of ghee roast masala to avoid stomach upset. :(
Magalorean food is at it's best here. Seafood is too good. Prawn Ghee Roast, Crab Ghee Roast and Neer Dosa is a must try. Lovely Ambience. Must goto place!
Excellent food. Good location. Very good service. Good ambience. Must visit joint. Very good experience we had. Will recommend very strongly.
This place has been our go to for sea food/manglorean cuisine. They have moved to a new location and the place looks much better than before. We always end up have the chicken ghee roast and Neer dosa, but this time we also tried ghee roast prawns and rava fried prawns and as usual it was delish!! I'm in love with the food here never disappoints, the have alcohol as well so thats just an added bonus. The service is up to the mark, the waiting staff is very attentive. All in all it was a very nice lunch we had here.
Best place to be for mangalorean cuisine. Must try food!especially for all spice lovers - Chicken ghee roast with neer dosa.
and kori roti chicken curry.
They serve good Mangalorean sea food dishes. The prawns and fish fry is yummy...and the chicken ghee roast with neer dosa is the best😍 Well the best thing about the place is all the sea food item they serve is fresh, it's difficult to find a place in Bangalore who serves fresh sea water food.
Been frequenting this restaurant for years now. The manglorean style prawn ghee roast with Neer dosa is best dish on the menu. Service is okay.
Great sea food... Authentic Mangalorean cuisine apart from other options. The Anjal Rawa Fry, Prawn Ghee Roast and Neer Dosa are amazing. Great service too.
Lip smacking chicken ghee roast and neer dosa.. the prawns were also awesome!! Can come back here again and again for this coastal yummyness!! :)
This place is my all time favourite favourite. I m such a sucker for their Chicken ghee roast along with neer dosa. A regular customer . Once a month visit is a must . Try their daal khichdi, pomfret masala and Ghee roast for sure . Prwans poolimunchi is also worth a try. So, if you are in Bangalore, this place is a must try ! Enjoy!
This is One of the DELICIOUS place for Best Chicken ghee roast in Bangalore. Quite expensive but you should visit place and try chicken ghee roast.
This place so famous for sea food
We went as a group when our friend highly recommended the chicken ghee roast and neer Dosa. We were 4 non vegetarians and 6 vegetarians, but the veg turned out to be a hit. Din't expect they would get good veg food. The neer Dosa was brilliant. I felt the ghee roast hits you with the spice quite late so when you eat the taste is only of ghee. Their starters were amazing both veg and non veg. Service was great. Prompt and polite waiters. Bill value was 5600 for 10 of us which is pretty good for stomach filling food.
The Ambiance reminds me of a hill top hotels..simple yet beautiful. The Food is a must try because the flavours in it will surely take you back again.Food Cooked in Ghee flavours are delicious especially the non veg menu, pocket friendly restaurant.Overall Experience is 5🌟
DILAPIDATED PLACE WITH AMAZING MANGALORE FOOD.
Went to this place on a Sunday evening. Has limited parking at the complex. The stairs leading to this place were slightly dark and not appealing. Went in and were promptly seated.
Ambience: nothing to write about. Is a circular space with 2 rows of seating. Looks quite old and unappealing. Washroom needed more cleaning and probably a freshner that day
Considering it was a Mangalore style eatery we wanted to start off with an order of pomfret, squid, prawn. We were told they were out of squid and pomfret. So after a lot of disappointment we decided to order a round of prawn garlic fry, a chicken and crab ghee masala. The prawn were the small variety and were okay. The chilly chicken was quite good. The crab was perfect. We finished off the dinner with neer dosa and Kane fish curry. These 2 were also perfectly cooked. Cooking of masala was red chillies and ghee which imparts a rustic and homely taste to their food. No artificial colours used
A couple of beers, black rum, mocktails and a cocktail were also ordered.
Bill came up to around 1500 including alcohol per couple.
The service was quick, friendly and efficient.
Ambience:2/5( Quick tip: try and get seated closer to the entrance )
Taste: 5/5
Service:5/5
Value for money: 4/5
I love this place it’s amazing to have food here .. sea food especially .. who ever the cook is .. it was like wow man .. crab soup , Solomon , pompfrey , and fish Biriyani was the like of my life I ever had .. superb guys keep going
The chicken ghee roast with Neer Dosa are the BEST i have had. Quick service ( took us 20 mins from the time we ordered the food to the time we asked for the bill). The ambience, while ok, has a plethora of uncomfortable smells ( sea food at the entrance followed by an over powering smell of bathroom cleaning agent and body fluids).
Still recommend having both the neer dosa and the chicken ghee roast (1/2 plate is sufficient for 2-3 people) at the restaurant vs. takeaway.
Parking available at a nominal cost of Rs10/ hour for both 2 and 4 wheelers inside the complex. Recommend taking tje metro to MG road + 50m walk towards cubbon park.
Chicken Ghee Roast. Give this dish a try and you will not regret it, if you are a small group please note this dish is more than sufficient for 2-4 persons. Its heavily laden with the goodness of ghee. Would recommend pairing this with appams.
Please note Zomato Gold is not applicable on seafood items.
Coast to Coast is one of the premier seafood restaurants in the city. Goes back a long way and is probably one of the most recommended eateries around town. The ambience is quite dated although you won't be disappointed. A few say the staff have gotten lost in the fame that the place has generated, but when I visited staff seem friendly and maybe they're just stern looking chaps. One should try out all the ghee roasts and consider asking staff for recommendations as well. There's been some talk going around about the MG Road restaurant shutting shop although I don't know how far it's true. There's another one in Koramangala. If you ain't afraid of the spice, I'm sure you'll find this place nice.
Chicken ghee roast is what it is. Yummy finger licking chicken ghee roast. 😍 haven't tried the fish or other dishes from the place. The ambience may not be so interesting for a non alcoholic family crowd. But it is worth for the taste of chicken ghee roast. 👍
Went to this restaurant while it was raining heavily and the parking staff were kind enough to offer us umbrellas as we entered the lift area.
The ambience of the restaurant felt cosy and the staff were warm and attentive.
Firstly we ordered a palak based shorba (unable to recall the exact name), it had good amount of veggies and subtly spices. Was flavourful and just what we needed at that time.
In starters, we ordered Anjal masala fry which was lip-smacking! The perfect amount of masala, ghee and a decent sized fillet. Absolutely delicious and a must try!
We also ordered mushroom ghee roast which turned out to be the only disappointment during the entire course as the masala had turned very bitter and was inedible, probably due to the overuse of chilli powder. They did not replace the dish even after providing them our feedback. Had tried pairing it with neer dosas.
For main course, we ordered appams and chicken stew which was heavenly. One of the best tasting stews I've had so far!
We also really enjoyed their range of goli sodas which came in a variety of flavours and was very refreshing.
Overall a great place and definitely worth a try!
A great fish and seafood spot just above Starbucks (Google Maps will take you to MG road, while the entrance is around the block). Well cooked fish and seafood, price right and a very good attentive service. Recommeded
Visited them for an elaborate sea food indulgences. The food is very yummy. Even a basic paneer shashlik was very well made. My favourite from here is the prawn ghee roast with neer dosa and even the crab cutlet, must try! And definitely visit them for good food.
They even serve alcoholic beverages. Can visit with family or friends. Staff is also very kind and helpful. We even tried the packed pan after our meal.
Do visit and thank me later :)
An excellent place to have good coastal food!
Food is great and stays true to the taste of the coast , the drinks too are of reasonable price.
The ghee roast here is a must try.
Overall , a great place to have proper coastal food in Banglore.
Definitely recommended.
Hi. this is a great restaurant for seafood specialities and I especially love their prawns biryani. not only for their taste and quality, but most importantly, for their ABILITY TO ACCEPT FEEDBACK. they like to listen to their customers and if there is any problem with their food, they respond immediately. they are WILLING TO LISTEN & IMPROVE & that's their BEST QUALITY! so a full thumbs up to them. with such an attitude their success is guaranteed! do order soon. :)
Dinner and drinks for 2 - 5000 Rs. The Rawa Tawa fry King and pompfret fish were really great. Ghee roast ist a bit over rated . Pepper prawns was also not that great.
But overall the experience was good since the ambience and service were up to the mark.
It was long after we visited this place (5+ years) and yet tastes the same. Although they to moved to a different building, it wasn’t hard to find. We decided to visit them for a lunch and it was around 1pm and tables were available for us, probably because it was Tuesday and less busy. Anyway we started our order with Rawa tawa king fish fry, prawns masala fry (ghee roasted version but without ghee), sweetened coconut milk and crab sukkah. Neer dosa and appam to go with. It(quantity) was so perfect that we didn’t have to order any additional stuff. Waiters at the table were kind and humble with casual talk and suggestions. I would always recommend this place. (2 adults + 1 kid)
Whenever I crave for authentic coastal cuisine (Mangalorean precisely) then this is the place. Tandoor Pomfret, Steamed Anjal, Silver rava fry, Neer dose, Prawns ghee roast, Chicken ghee roast are the ones I always repeat in my order and every time they tastes heavenly. Have tasted these delicacies at many places in Bengaluru but nothing can flank it. You find steamed & tandoor fishes rarely in restaurants and this is one & best among them. If you are bored of regular desserts then definitely try Ragi Manni and you won't regret the choice. You may find service bit delayed sometimes but nevertheless worth waiting.
Loved it! 2 of us visited there for dinner. Had the tiger prawns ghee roast (very good, excellent taste and portions), lady fish rawa fry (nice crispy batter, soft and perfectly cooked fish inside), neer dose, and kori rotti. Also had two mocktails.
The portions are big for the price, the taste was excellent and the service was good. Our waiter was friendly and well informed about the dishes. The ambiance is cozy and upscale.
They have an outdoors smoking area and indoors non smoking. We chose the indoors dining area.
Overall a great experience. Highly recommended.
Excellent costal food experience at the heart of the city!
Went here for lunch and was really impressed by the fresh catches of the day (fishes) that was displayed at the entry. From crabs to prawns, they had every tasty fish on the menu! Needless to say, we had an exquisite lunch experience!
For starters we ordered Seer fish fry and chicken ghee roast. The fish was extremely fresh, very well seasoned, and tasted wonderful. The ghee roast was definitely one of the best ones I have ever eaten. On enquiring with the manager, who is a very pleasant person, we got to know that they source their chillies especially to make the amazing ghee roast, which though rich is color, was not spicy much and tasted amazing
For the mains, we ordered Neer Dosa with crab curry and steamed rice with prawn curry. Both the curries tasted good but what stole the show was the fresh fishes! The crab was so fresh that it tasted sweet and complemented very well with the midly spicy-sour gravy. The prawns were Aldo same, fresh and warm, and went very well with the steamed rice.
For desserts we had a millet based pudding which tasted yum. Their drinks also tasted very good. The Pina Colada actually transported me to beech side with it's strong coconut milk flavor.
The staff is very attentive and the service was prompt. Overall we had a great dining experience here.
Best place for Mangalore food.
One of the fine dining gourmet food places.
Their best dish is Ghee Chicken Roast with Neer Dosa. Must try and highly recommended. And as we see it's a gourmet place, so prices are a bit expensive.
Tried the Crab ghee roast, loved it. Tried the Squid chilli, found it tough and rubbery. Should have tried the butter garlic squid as others have suggested. Anyway the ghee roast more than made up for it!
A bit too pricey for the portions offered, however, the taste is great and several varieties are available.
Please try the seafood delicacies. The Malabar crab cakes and Sri Lankan clams are a must try. The Mixed Goan seafood curry with the neer dosa is a combo you don't want to miss.
The place is located on church street at brigade road, so naturally a prime location. The ambience is great; basically, it's a Mangalorean-style food restaurant. They have two floors on the 1st floor, which is more of a family environment and quiet. The one on the top floor is open air, and expect a lot of cigarette smoke and noise from the younger crowd. Food quality is great, but the quantity is not for the prices they are charging, IMHO.
Located on church street, Anupam's coast to coast is a testimony to the rich array of dishes the coast has to offer. With a lineage from kundapur region, they surely know how to win your hearts.
With a very simple ambience that overlooks the bustling church street and a mini bar, this is a perfect place for family lunches or casual dinners with friends.
They have a very extensive menu, that serves all the seafood delicacies, that go well with solkadi or goli soda, or the classic cocktails too.
For starters, we tried their butter garlic calamari, mutton pepper fry, Tawa fish fry and chicken varuval. They were all perfectly cooked with the right flavours and melted in our mouths.
For the main course, we had to try Prawn ghee roast and neer dosa, the classic pairing didn't disappoint and was delicious, we also tried appam with coconut milk, and Nethili puliminuchi curry with pundi( rice balls) the piping hot balls went very well with the mild curry.
If you're craving some mind-boggling coastal food, then Anupam's coast-to-coast is a must-try!
Anupam's coast to coast is on my list of best Mangalorean food in Bangalore! Located on church street, Coast to Coast offers a wide range of seafood - fish, crabs, prawns, and what not in different styles to suit your taste buds whilst also specializing in authentic Mangalorean cuisine.
The ambiance is quiet, perfect for families, and offers a view of the bustling church street below. They also have a bar attached with classic cocktails to go with your meal.
To start off with, indulge in some butter garlic calamari, chicken varuval, mutton pepper fry, and Tawa fry fish. Their portions are perfect for two, and the seafood is super fresh. Both the calamari and the fish were cooked perfectly and were delicate to bite into - especially the calamari.
No Mangalorean meal is complete without some neer dosa and ghee roast. We tried their prawn ghee roast: the masala was cooked to perfection, with the right amount of spice. Their fish curry, with pundi [steamed rice balls], and appam are other dishes you can explore for the main course as well.
They also have some raggi manni for dessert, or you can wrap up the meal with some Solkadi, a Mangalorean kokum-based drink that's the perfect meal finisher.
Overall, would definitely recommend the place for your Mangalorean cravings, the staff is super helpful in helping you pick the right dishes to your liking. Cost for two, INR 1500/- for two.
Overall it was a very good experience with nice ambience and no loud music. The food was good, I had ordered for egg Appam & veg stew with Anjal Tawa fry, veg sweet corn soup. The restaurant is located in the 1st floor, above starbucks. The Mediterranean sea cocktail drink was also good.
Food was excellent and it's tooo much expensive for only 5members it costed around 8k.
