From my childhood i have been visiting shez
an restaurant. And i have very lovely memories of this cute Little place. Throughout the years Mr Altaf has taken very good care of me ,my family and friends and attend to our needs. The quality of the food has always been maintained throughout the years. I am able to get all different cusinise under one roof which so tasty. I want to especially thank Mr Altaf for packing yummy piping hot applepie with cream for my mom. Cheers.

Shezan is a restaurant closest to my heart as I've been dining here since I was a little girl in school. My parents and grandmother brought me here almost every weekend and we have always loved the food from the bottom of our heart... It's a multi Cuisine so we enjoy a variety of food here.. Biryani.. Chinese and American. Even after so many years the quality remains intact and Mr.Altaaf never fails in his WARM HOSPITALITY:-) The Tandoori chicken is my all time favorite here.. juicy & tasty always.. Dining at Shezan is a gourmet's delight! The personal touch of the owner is evident, he moves among his guests and is in and out of the kitchen inspecting the cooking.
Altaf is known to almost eveyone who frequents Shezan. The mutton biryani, brain fry, chops, the fish dishes and all the desserts are very popular not to speak of the nali ka gosht (lamb shanks).
Apart from this, parking is easy and safe. The prices are very reasonable and the service is quick and efficient. You can't go to Bangalore and not dine at Shezan!

One of Bangalore's oldest restaurants yet it's still one of the best. There is no place that leaves your tummy satisfied to the fullest than Shezan. The Steaks here are my favorite, no one serves up a quantity worthy of the price like Shezan when it comes to steaks. Served the classic way with some greens, grilled onions and mashed potatoes.
The Chinese food here is just as good too. Though I feel the quantity could be better. But when quality is that good the qty won't matter :)
I’ve tried steak at almost half a dozen steakhouses here in Bangalore and I safely say that Shezan is the best . I eat their chateaubriand supreme steak atleast twice a week. Their medium rare is perfect . Charred on the outside and juicy on the inside

During the lockdown I was feeling Nostalgic...for some truly good old Bangalore classic food , from my college days in the 80’s .Shezan started off in Walton Rd,remember going in there on our yezdi’s .Ordered food from here tonight , the beef burger cooked to perfection the meat to bun ratio more than generous ,the fresh Mayo ,juicy tomatoes , crisp lettuce topped off with a slice of melted cheese with a hint of pepper took me back 3 decades !! The lamb chops to die for !juicy with an amazing masala ....topped this with some chilly beef with the most amazing fried rice good old bangalore style washed down with a chilled thums up !! Thank you Shezan for filling up my senses with a nostalgic trip down memory lane !! The ever smiling face of the late Saleem Sait , hovering over your table lovingly asking you about the food and recommending the best dishes that we should try the next time we were there instantly popped into my head. Thank You Shezan ! For bringing back such fond memories!

Altaf uncles warm greetings and personal touches make the place feel like home. The food is absolutely delicious no matter which dish you order and you can be rest assured that flavor hasn't changed a bit over the years. I had horrible food experiences in this lockdown, with branded restaurants delivering sub standard, tasteless food. Shezan served us an outstanding meal, so tasty that for a while, the family forgot all about the current situation. Good for you guys.

Shezan has always been the go to place for me when I have a craving for Indian food. The service is quick and the food is piping hot. For starters I’ve had the usual day specials like Brain Pepper Fry, pair it with their phulkas which are very nice and light.
Their Chicken 65 is a signature dish and is a must have for chicken lovers, Chilli Beef for those who love Beef. For mutton, I go with chops or whatever Altaf Bhai suggests. He is a bigger foodie than anyone I know 😁
For main course, Mutton Biryani is a highly recommended dish. And I usually end my meal with the famous mud pie.

Shezan served us very delicious food today, even during the lockdown time . Mr. Altaf made sure the food was prepared right and had the same great taste which used to be during regular times .. After 21 days of lockdown at home , the Steak and Chinese schezwan noodles along with a mudpie was a treat to our taste buds !!!! Went to shezan for the first time. The restaurant is run by my Father's friend. The owner of the restaurant, Altaf uncle is an excellent host and gives his personal attention to his guests and suggest what dish to order as the menu is so vast and extensive. The owner of the restaurant is really kind and genuine and he really wanted to make sure that is customers got what we wanted to eat— he was happy to customise sizes and tastes, and he didn’t care about the money aspect. The food too, was delicious— my customised cheese naan and kulcha, butter chicken, lamb ribs, and Kapoor Kulfi, made my whole day. But the kind hearted ness of the owner and the polite staff. I really loved the experience— old school but so vibey!

Like a younger brother to The Only place, this restaurant serves one hell of dishes. Loved their fish steak, tawa lamb chops, naan e taftaan, nalli ka saalan, and haleem. And the desserts are really their forte. Will keep coming back for more.

Went there for sentimental reasons after more than 7 years, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The tawa chops are to die for, soft and juicy... just delectable! It’s a must visit for a food lover! The owner was also so courteous and made sure we ordered according to our palate. I am sure we will have cravings for this food again very soon and hope to visit again:)
We have been visiting here from past 15 years and the only thing that hasn't changed here is the quality of the food being served and the taste in the food! The most favorite food for us is the Cheese Cake! We love it! 😍

You know how the best places are the ones less people are aware of? Shezan happened to be that place for us. We came across this hidden gem in Cunningham road on a Sunday noon. The Tawa lamb chops are to die for. I can vouch for this place serving one of the best lamb chops in the city. Next is the Haleem. To my surprise, this is one of those few places that serve haleem throughout the year. And to get a haleem in the month of February with all the desired ingredients and flavour in its perfect place is a bliss. Then we ordered the Nalli ka salaan which we had with Naan e taftaan. The gravy was just perfect, with a delightful dance of savor. The murgh pieces were quite juicy and toothsome. A literal food for the soul. Finally, we ended our meal with the Phirni. The entire concept of Lucknow food was brought to us in its full glory in our visit to Shezan. And we shall be visiting this place again sooner for their popular steaks. I strongly recommend a hearth lunch at Shezan.
For the past 23 years, we have eaten at Shezan almost every other weekend. We would get into our car drive 15 kms park and stay for a good 2 hours. The food would touch the spot just the right way, mutton biriyani for my daughter and I, and beef hamburger for my son. He would order a chocolate mousse in advance and then another, he couldn't get enough. Now we have graduated to steaks and other curries and really relish the brain fry. We all came back with a satiated yummmm feeling and that is true even today.

For starters, would recommend chicken 65, and grilled mutton chops. As main course I would recommend to try both the mutton and Chicken Biryani's as both have Great taste. For dessert, their mudpies are the best.

This has always been my go to destination for food. Be it continental, chinese or even if I'm in my rare Indian mood . My family and I are always in disagreement on where we want to go , then Shezan comes sweeping down like

Came here with a group of 5 -- all regular steak-eaters. We came here to eat Chinese but ended up ordering steaks AFTER having Chinese starters and we did not regret it. The owner is a great man and really hospitable. We've been to all the steakhouses in the city and this one is the best. Kudos!

Whilst there are many restaurants in Bangalore serving outstanding beef steaks ( hopefully it continues to serve with no ban), Shezan has stood the test of time serving a variety of steaks for many decades. Personally love their BBQ steak which is yummy and suits the Indian palate. The place is friendly and if you request for a little extra sauce, they oblige happily. For Shezan, the diner is their guest and Altaf is a super host.

Stumbled upon this place going by the Zomato reviews and boy aren't we glad we did! Had an amazing dinner which was made extra special thanks to the staff and the owner who has been running this place for 30 years. In fact our whole order was placed by him Mr. Altaf Ahmed, after asking us our likes/ dislikes! Mutton chap is crisp and soft and juicy all at once...beef steak is killer and the lamb biryani is out of the world.
Ended the night with some blueberry cheesecake and we are satisfied souls!
I’m coming from a very long time here. Since childhood this has been my favourite go to restaurant for Mughlai and continental food. The restaurant serves delicious meats. I would highly recommended the food here for its quality and friendly staff.
My experience here has grown and got just better and better with time.

This restaurant is one of the oldest restaurants in Bangalore, located in the busy Cunningham Road you'll tend to miss while passing through.
They have a limited seating capacity of around 50. The ambience is really good and the owners themselves interact with the customers giving you a homely feel.
This place has one of the best foods I have had in the entire Bangalore. I have tried multi cuisine and never have I been disappointed. My personal favourite is their Steak.
They have valet parking and ample parking space on Cunningham Road. This is a must try restaurant, I recommend it to anyone visiting Bangalore.
The steaks and u burgers here just so delicious! And most importantly they are halal . This was our first time here and we totally loved it , be it ambience or the prompt service it was all praise worthy . The waiters here are so courteous :)

Shezan - Is this the best place for steak in the town?
Perhaps a hidden gem for the googler crowd, we found this restaurant from a quora and reddit thread. We were clearly told on the forums that you have to ask for the real deal and the owner, Mr. Altaf will take care personally. Well, with high hopes we travelled to this place and boy, what an evening we had.
We didn't eat much. We were very clear, we wanted proteins.
So right away Mr. Altaf suggested a supreme steak with some garlic bread. When we said we wanted it medium rare, the gentleman got really happy, appreciated our choice and asked us not to order anything right away, rather to taste the steak.
Well, all we can say is we have hit the jackpot of steaks!! Juicy, crisp and charred on the outside, pink and juicy inside - this steak was everything we ever wanted. Paired with the mashed potato and the meat juices (yes, well rested steak my dear sirs/madams), it was heaven in our mouth.
We then tried the batter fried fish , london style. Again a stunner!! This big a fry with that fat a fillet is kind of unheard of for a mere 250-300 odd price in Bengaluru, atleast for us.
But we wanted more of the steak.
So mr altaf suggested another good dry aged steak - newyork style. This smokey one resembled the bbq style meat served in US, but without the meat being doused in tons of some sauce, the served meat was a polished gem of marinated meat beautifully seared on the pan and served perfectly juicy.
The whole time Mr. Altaf personally attended to us, checked on whether we liked the food.
While some think it's intrusive, it's actually not, it's only the perfect amount of presence of the host that results in better selection of dishes.
Overall, we as a couple enjoyed the time, the food, the ambience and overall experience.
So next time when you are in search of steaks, looking for some REAL DEAL, FORGET the pretentious eateries doling out some meat doused with sauces and head to shezan, ask for a good meaty hearty steak and go home content.
Old Bangalore charm with friendly staff and great food. Their Continental and Indian cuisine is super tasty. Have not tried their Chinese.
We tried fish and chips, garlic nan, rumali roti, paneer butter masala and chicken mughalai. Everything was yummy
The steak here was really really good! I had it with an amazing mushroom pepper sauce and mash. Old school style aesthetic and a very very satisfying meal.
