Serves you good coffee!
This was the Bella ( jaggery ) coffee
Had Mysuru coffee for 20 Rs a cup. This one costs 2 rupees more than regular coffee- we were told reason is less chikori. Coffee is fine, no place to sit around- few stools or temporary seating would have been great. Few snacks items are also available for purchase. Takeaway cups also would have been nice.
We visited Hatti kaapi for a late evening coffee..
We are so refreshed with Authentic filter coffee with a perfect blend of decoction and milk.
Price is little expensive comparatively but never the less ..it's one of the best coffee.
They also sell this banana cakes which are very tasty.
Easily locatable but no seating arrangements are made.
Digital payments are accepted.
Highly recommended place for refreshing yourself from stress.
Very good coffee . The rest of the stuff like samosa etc can be avoided.
Tea is just about okay.
Try the Bella coffee once.
No seating.
Authentic south indian coffee can be tasted here..! Good place and good food..! If you wanna try drinking coffe in mud made utensil...this is definitely a place to go
Best filter coffee in Bangalore!
Their coffee is so flavourful and it’s a prefect start to the day.
They also have hatti samosas in the evening and that goes so well with the coffeee!
Quantity is worth for the money.
This place serves the best filter kappi’s. It almost became a routine for me and my friends to visit this place for some special kulhadd tea and coffee. They do have an option to serve you hot coffee and tea in a earthen cup and it tastes heavenly. Apart from that this place is really good for having breakfast as they serve idli, poha etc.
Staff is courteous and place is hygienic.
A basic coffee kiosk...serves quick and a decent place for coffee lovers, wel, the regular coffees...of course, reasonable though...not really wanting to spend more on coffees and I can end up here for coffees.
I daily have my morning coffee here on the way. They make one of the best coffee ever. You should try this coffee that motivates your morning.
Happened to visit this place after having breakfast elsewhere on a Saturday morning. It's your basic coffee/tea stall. A bit on the pricy side when compared to your normal Darshinis but the the coffee and lemon tea we had were good. Quick service.
Ambience - 3/5 Food - 4/5 Service - 4/5 VFM - 4/5 Parking - No
Hatti Kaapi is a chain of coffee kiosks at various locations in Bangalore. We visited the Jayanagar branch one Sunday morning, after a hearty breakfast of idli at a nearby place.
We ordered the regular filter coffee and a Mysuru coffee. The filter coffee was strong and made just right, and managed to satisfy my wife who has pretty high standards for it. I too loved the Mysuru coffee and would surely recommend the same.
They also serve light snacks to go with the coffee, which we left for another visit.
Easy on the pocket, and Best Filter Kaapi I’ve had in Bangalore. Badam Milk was good too.
They also offer other items on their menu including Samosas and Banana Cakes. Nice place to hang out during breaks.

Hatti Kaapi is a chain restaurant that serves a variety of South Indian snacks and coffee. This outlet is a very small one located at Brigade road. The location is excellent and the snacks are tasty. I have visited this place twice and had their Mini Idli, Regular Idli Sambhar, Hazelnut Cold Coffee, and Filter Coffee.
Their Mini Idli is very good and so is the Hazelnut coffee. It's a self service outlet and their is no place to sit so you will have to stand.
I specifically went to this place to taste their Jaggery Coffee and ended up ordering all these. We had order a lot of stuff.
2 Organic Jaggery Coffee 5/5
1 Hatti Tea 4/5
1 Filter Coffee 4/5
2 Aloo Samosa 3/5
1 Uddina Vada 2/5
2 Nucchina Unde 2/5
2 Hatti Samosa 4/5
1 Manglore Bun 3/5
Over all I like it. Pocket friendly too. People who like coffee will definitely enjoy it.
This place is in the corner of to the police station, they have good Mysore filter coffee for just 22₹ and they have Chats sold ,which can be taken away or eaten with coffee
Food / Drink - Fantastic coffee and tea. Some munchies like Maddur Vade, samosas to go with.
Price - Slightly pricey. 18/- for coffee or tea, a tiny cup too.
Service - Fataaak fast!
Ambience - Old Bengaluru street charm. Smiling faces, engrossed conversations, loud laughters. Awesome place to have your evening coffee.
Location - corner store, easy to spot.
Parking - Street.
Speciality - Coffee.
Must try? - Yes. If you need your shot of evening caffeine.
Pro tip - Enjoy your coffee!
Hi All,

Hatti kaapi is one of the best coffee bars which provides u the best of the filter coffee...I often go there in mrng times , pot tea is just epic which refreshes ur mind..tried hatti samosa which is small pocket size and the owner himself explained me about the speciality of these samosas which is made of only carrot and cabbage without onions which tasted yum..

This aromatic outlet in Bangalore is making a good presence in coffee making.. am a regular visitor to Jayanagar and to this place for nice strong Mysore filter coffee.. Filter coffee is a boon as its rarely available with right blend of chikori and coffee beans..
Apart from regular coffee they also offer matka coffee, tea varieties and snacks..
Enjoy your coffee and revisit your soul and mind once again..
Visited this place with a friend. I just had a hot coffee in earthen pot here. It was decent. You are allowed to takeaway the earthen pot with you..
Serves authentic coffee with good coffee dips and samosas. Tried Bella coffee/diabetes coffee( heard few people ordering with that name:)which tasted quite good.quick service. The only issue with this place is that there is no seating or tables provided.
Amazing place to have authentic flavorful filter coffee. Super quick service no matter how crowded it is. Have tried their various snacks too, never disappointed.
Coffee is amazing ,they sell powder coffee and soup sticks too. I personally loved the samosas . Very frequent at this place for these two things . Unfortunately no place to sit .
Hatti kaapi, an adda for most of the youths as well as old people. You can see many small bunch of people having good time savouring every sip of the coffee/tea. Me and my friends visits this place at least thrice a week. A hot cup coffee in the cold weather with your favourite people completes the day. I'll keep visiting :)
Here we get the best ever tea (tea decoction) which is very surprising and Damn refreshing....
And the quick bites is a perfect match for tea and coffee...
Bella coffee is awesome too...
A nice place to have refreshing coffee after a shopping spree at jayanagar. The price is quite reasonable. Few snacks and different variety of coffee and tea is also available.
quick coffee adda .
with
congress bun and mini samosa .
for smokers nice coffee next to pan shop . opposite to miyas .

One of the best place in Bangalore for the filter coffee.
There's no seating area, it's a place where you stand and have your coffee.
Tea also very different varieties and different flavour.
HOT TEA & HOT COFFEE is really awesome
Crowded place, But yes u enjoy alot here.
Quality and quantity is also good.
Quick service.
Price also decent.
They prepare amazing coffee and tea. I love their coffee and tea with jaggery, which Is a healthy option. Also I have tried their chocolate cold coffee which was yummy. All in all they serve one of the best filter coffee in south Bangalore.
I haven't tried the snacks available there. Always there is a next time.
Must visit if you love your filter coffee.
Hatti Kaapi opened its doors in Jayanagar about 2 years ago, and they’ve been able to amass their own fan following. They may be famous for South Indian filter coffee, but tea lovers need not be sad ‘cuz tea here is awesome too. They serve coffee / tea in earthen pots as well and also have the option of jaggery instead of sugar, a healthy alternative at that. Jaggery tea here is my personal favourite.
They do have a lot of short-eats too, such as Maddur Vada, Masala Peanut Bun, Aloo Bun, Samosas and biscuits, but they’re just average. The only decent thing I’d suggest is their salt butter biscuits - great to munch on. The rest of the food is inconsistent in taste. They try out different combinations for stuffings, so they never taste the same if you know what I mean. Stick to the teas and coffees and you’ll be fine. :)
Even though this branch is next to Maiya's, I have seen a lot of people over here. They have really amazing filter coffee. This is one of my favourite places to have coffee. It's the perfect ending to any breakfast. There's no seating area, it's a place where you stand and have your coffee.
This outlet of Hatti Kaapi is exactly opposite to maiyas restaurant in jayanagara area. Despite of having tough competition from the very famous from maiyas I often see a huge crowd at this place. It doesn't have a seating area, and is more like darshini. They have some of the south indian breakfast items like idli, kharabath and bisibelebath. The coffee isn't too strong and I like it here. They have option for jaggery coffee. Ginger tea and lemon tea is also recommend here. Besides tea and coffee power is also sold here. Service is super quick and prompt.
One of the best coffees available in town. Varieties of coffee available, especially their jaggery coffee stands as my favorite whc enhances ur mood to have a anothrr cup :-) A lot can happen over a coffee. Thumbs up

It's a nice place for coffee. Nothing fancy but reasonable and good! I like their Airport branch a lot🙌
They can get in more variety I feel.
I am a regular here as it is very close to my house. I have tried all the coffee varieties on offer. Personally I feel this is the best filter coffee available outside. The quality, quantity, concentration and taste are spot on. The special variety, which has no chicory is good too but lacks the edge. Pot coffee is nothing special, same coffee served in a clay pot. Jaggery coffee tastes slightly different, but not as exotic as u hope. The cold coffee is decent too, only that it is a bit watery.
Best filter coffee in town has to be by hatti Kaapi. They have the right mix to.make the coffee strong and tasty. It's giving a big competition to maiyas which once was the favourite in that surrounding.
Hatti Kaapi has various outlets across Bangalore and it is one of the most delicious filter coffees I have had with a great mouthfeel. Try the pot coffee with chicory for the ideal effect. A must try for coffee lovers. Some breakfast snacks, idli and chutney is available for people who want to have a quick bite and get to work.
Well known traditional coffee (Kaapi!) chain in Bangalore. Wanted to try for long. Had a chance today. Tried Hatti Special coffee & Organic jaggery coffee. Both were good. Traditional taste. Cost of the coffees are so decent. It does surprise you as it starts from 12 rupees. Worth for the money. Couldn't try their snacks since we had just finished our heavy lunch. They too looked good from the showcase. You can try.
Strongly recommended place for coffee lovers!!
Nice place to chit chatting, after a short walk, which is right opposite of miyas coffee's, giving a great competition , with cookies, home made biscuits, somosa, maddhur vada, vada pav etc......, taste worth, hot filter with in a cold weather 😉
I visit here often.. me and mum loves the coffee which is served here :) it's good and u won't get that bitter taste... coffee lovers must try :)

It was a rainy day when I happened to visit here. . I had a pot coffee and a paneer samosa. . Both sounded a good combo and with the drizzles. It was just epic. . Very nice place to get refreshed. .. overall rating -4.5/5
Coffee with the best. its like the taste of bayar coffee, if u had drunk in raghavendra near ragi gudda temple area, u will find the same taste even here. Overall its a cool stand out area for a break
super hot coffee, happening corner place and good quality coffee at only ₹10 per cup....what more can one ask for? all you need to decide is to visit the corner for mtr coffee or hatti kapee!
Another one of those eateries which promises to serve good coffee and snacks. Honestly, why would you want to open a place so very close to Maiyas and compete with them? You get cold coffee and also flavoured cold coffee. But I wonder if people would want to sip them standing in the hot sun!!
Easily locatable place, right on the corner opposite to Maiyya's. Known for it's coffee, it doesn't disappoint at all. Try the special coffee here if you are a coffee lover as I am. Pure coffee, no chicory too. To beat the summer heat, they have introduced splashes too.
Good place for a quick meetup and chat over a good cup of coffee. They also offer light snack options like maddur vada, samosa, aloo bun. They are relatively fresh and make for a good combination with the coffee.
It's been added to one my favorite place for coffee!!.......amazing coffee...amazing hatti samosa and masala vada....prices r also reasonable......only drawback I feel is they could have kept more varieties of coffee and tea.....I was pretty shocked when they said the only difference between coffee and special coffee is special is sugarless! :P......overall good place but reduce 0.5 Becoz of lack of variety..
Went dere after having breakfast at Maiyas. Priced fairly...u get the authentic taste of filter coffee dere.
Wish My wife could get the same taste in the coffee she makes :P
Must try coffee place, you get pot coffee and killer filter coffee, just opposite to maiya's hotel in jayanagar. Did I forget to mention the hatti samosas you get there...then try it very soon...
Located right in the center of Jayanagar 4th block, Hatti Kaapi is a typical filter coffee outlet. From a hot filter coffee to a cold coffee, from lemon tea to green tea, you have a wide choice of beverages to choose from. Add some mouth watering snacks to that like Hatti Samosa/Kharabun congress/Kharabath/BisiBeleBath etc and you are set.
Grab a friend or two, and a lot can happen over a cup of coffee or tea.
Filter coffee & veg samosa are perfect....one should try their coffee sticks too ! The only problem is sometimes the staff isn't that courteous.
This place is in existence for some time now and seems to have hit the right note with the people as it is generally crowded most of the times and this in spite of being located right opp Maiyyas.. It seems t be a trend to name the restaurants with some trendy Indian Names and this one is no exception it is Hatti Kaapi.
This is also a typical south indian joint serving Idly with Chutney and other delicacies like samosa and rolls no Sambhar. I visited this place out of curiosity and found it quite excellent. I had the samosas and coffee. I really loved the coffee. The samosa is also quite excellent.
This place is quite a hit with the morning joggers as well as people who just wanna have some snacks. The best part is it is very affordable and you wouldn’t spend more than Rs.100 even if you eat your hearts content. Since I was just checking out on the restaurant I would not be able to comment on the items but going by the crowd this looks to have struck the right notes.
Highly Recommended.
I was always curious to know which outlet in this corner of Jayanagar.. Right opp Maiyyas.. that is attracting huge crowd.. So it is Hatti Kaapi.. I definitely wouldn't review this weighing another restaurant in the same scale.. And it would be Hatti Kaapi specific only... I was really excited to visit this outlet.. And the manager Mr.Ranganath ( yes we both share the same surname:) ) was very courteous and treated us well.. Morning joggers, coffee lovers, gossipers.. This is the place for you :) starts at 5 30 am and satisfies the early morning coffee craving .. They serve special coffee( without chicory),regular coffee and tea ( 10₹)... For quick eats yes.. What do we have? Idli vada chutney ,bisibelebath, kharabath, maddur vada, aloo bun, masala peanut bun which is your congress bun with butter..oh yea :),aloo samosa, paneer samosa, coffee sticks, Hatti savouries' and yes u could buy the coffee powder too(100₹)... I've personally tasted the *Hatti samosa * which is your Patti samosa and it tastes utterly delicious.. Not too oily, the cabbage carrot beans stuffing simply doesn't let you eat one and hence you have three per plate(15₹) and the very rare Nuchhinunde( plz refer pic) which is a dish made of various cereals/grams & steamed ... I loved the tatse.. Jnagar residents- this is a sure shot visit for y'all.. And being a katriguppe resident.. I've been here thrice already and wanna come back again to try the remaining items.. Hatti Kaapi keep up the good quality and taste..
Though I visited this outlet before with my fellow foodies, I was just waiting for a nod by coffee expert-My Wife to write this review. Finally today I got a chance to take her to this outlet and here's my review:
Well, I should appreciate the courage and confidence of the management who has guts to open this outlet right in front of the famous Maiyas. But after tasting Hatti Kaapi's special coffee you will definitely agree that they meant to create a new landmark in Jayanagar.
SPECIAL FILTER COFFEE: The best chicory free coffee I ever had in my life, while drinking your nostrils will definitely react strangely by waking your brain up. That sudden feel of freshness while drinking the coffee, something I never experienced before. To be frank I became a great fan of Hatti Kaapi today.
OTHER MUNCHING FOODS: Nucchina Unde: It was good but since they ran out of coconut chutney it didn't tasted best; Hatti Samosa: Though it looks like small samosa, its taste is completely different as they use mixed vegetables as stuffing. They also offer Vada Pav, Regular Samosa, Masal buns, veg rolls which looked like yummy.
EVERYTHING ELSE: Hygiene has been maintained well in the store, you can witness a decent crowd all time. Its operation time is really ideal for the morning joggers. Parking wouldn't be a problem for two wheelers. Service is really good, staffs always have a smile on their face. Pricing is really reasonable.
FINAL VERDICT: If you want to get on real side of traditional coffee, I don't think there is any best place than this. Go Grab a Special Filter Coffee!!! And Enjoy the Aroma!!!
Good place to go for a quick coffee break if you are shopping in 4th block. Snacks look good, but haven't tried them yet. The quality of coffee here is good. Worth a visit.

I heard a lot about Hatti Kaapi but did not get a chance to visit. But today I happened to visit the one at Jayanagar for a coffee after having nice Masala Dosa at Ganesh Darshan.
This is located just opposite to Maiyas in Jayanagar 4th Block.
I was surprised to see the crowd here, as Maiyas is best in Coffee though. It's very difficult to compete with Legendary restaurants. But trust me this outlet is doing absolutely well.
They have some quick bites like Hatti Samosa, Peanut Butter Bun, Nuchhu Unte and lot of others.
We tried Nuchhu Unte, I feel it was ok.
They introduced Special Coffee which is not of Chicory based (chicory less) - Just loved it and only coffee lovers will enjoy it.
Mr. Ranganath who demonstrated about this restaurant very well and Service is real quick.
It was a great experience in Hatti Kaapi.
Best place to go for a Coffee!
I strongly recommend this place for Coffee lovers!!
Overall:
Coffee Taste: 5/5
Service: 3.5/5
Quality: 4/5
VFM: 3.5/5
They serve Hot Coffee, Matka Chai, milk shake, cold beverage, bakery and snacks. Ground coffee powder for sale. Taste is nothing different from a regular filter coffee you find anywhere in Bengaluru, expensive for the taste they serve. Have tried almost all types of coffee and Chai past one year, if your lazy and have enough money, then try this coffee.
It's my weekend adda.. if i don't drink coffee every weekend from this place my body doesn't listen to me. It definitely need dose from this spot. They provide strong, mild sweet coffee which would refreshes your taste bud.
As my photos show - this is my ‘pitstop’. Returning from my long city cycling trips, I often stop here for a coffee. Frankly the thing I like most is the location - no BS sitting or waiting for service, no this is straightforward get you coffee stand while you drink and leave. No frills, just thrills. I like that
Bella coffee has a unique flavour and pretty popular
Good service by manager preetpal singh
Hatti Kaapi Jayanagar offers a stellar experience with a pleasant environment and spotless surroundings. The Mysore Kaapi exudes freshness and aroma, making it a must-try. The food is not only delicious but also served with a warm and polite customer service that adds to the overall charm. A visit here guarantees a delightful blend of cleanliness, fresh flavors, and exceptional hospitality. A must visit place in Jayanagar.
It's just quick bite shop, coffee and snacks, costs are a bit higher than normal for brand value, no service room and seating available.
The mud pot tea in here is absolutely best when you wanna drink it in a rainy atmosphere. The signature drink here is the Jaggery coffee.
Had a super nice coffee, we tried their flavoured cold coffee and I would say it is the best in Bangalore and at a very cheap price.
While the ambience and service is good, the prices are a tad bit much. 2 wheelers can be comfortably parked, 4 wheelers will have to scram for parking, along with coffee and tea they also have a bunch of other offerings which are good. While I specifically asked for a 'strong coffee' the decoction wasn't strong enough.
Ordered filter coffeee. The coffee was extremely hot and amazing 💯
Sipping hot coffee at this place is a beautiful experience in itself. Coffee served in 'madike' or pot adds earthy flavour to the coffee. They also serve snacks along.
Kannada speaking staff. Good outlet to authentic Karnataka coffee. Same standards whether it’s the Jayanagar outlet , airport or your office.
The coffee was good. The owner or whoever was helping on the counter was rude. The person was super annoyed when I asked for the price. (Sorry sir, I did know the price of the famous coffee)
Nothing beats the road side coffee stall with home like hatti kappi. It's a small shop and the coffee was good. Felt too overpriced though for the quantity, 30 for small with no service or place to sit.
Awesome taste👌🏻. I had mini coffee worth 30 rupees. But its really nice.
Hatti Kaapi is one of the best fast food places that we have experienced and honestly no exaggeration.Their coffee and other snacks are tasty and palatable. This place and was told that other Hatti Kaapi outlets also employs physically challenged personnel.
Makes it a convenient place for customers by providing all kinds of payment options - card - online - or cash. Great surroundings to have a coffee shop in. A good deserving competitor for Maiya's restaurant / coffee shop right in front of it
I liked how they put the sign language of kaapi(cofee) in the cup . It certainly is interesting .
Had pot Filter Coffee and Spinach sandwich and Peri Peri fries. Amazing filter coffee (Had it twice ) and the food was amazing . Receptive staff and had a good time chatting with the staff. I believe a sitting area would be appropriate to have
