If you are a fan is pan Asian then this is the right place for you. Love the dim sums here. Perfect place to go for a date night :)
This place is very much suitable for a romantic date and the chinese food is amazing. Though I am a vegetarian still they have many varieties in veg. And The seating is most beautiful. We went on our special day and completely enjoyed the evening πβ€οΈ will recommend it to everyone ππ
Itβs really pretty and relaxing on rooftop during weekdays, not so comfortable sitting area but has its charm may be despite it. You donβt need to seek comfort all the time. Had this south Asian feel which I love , can make up for longing of travel time. I like that it was nice yet differently similar dining area below, as if food and dining gets it own ambience and it deserves it. I guess itβs more pumped up on weekends , itβs kind nicely and weirdly tucked away inside the mall, so you can detach yourself from mall Ambience.
Decent crowd for a Sunday . Enjoyed the rooftop ambiance. Service was quick , could be because of less crowd. Tried prawn tempura sushi for the first time , it was great . Good service , Happy dining with tao terrace .
Good Sushi but had better in many other restaurants. Awesome ambience and less crowd for a Wednesday. Ordered cocktails and those were decent. The crowd is good on the weekends and it is worth to visit on a weekend.
Tried crispy lotus stem and nonya egg noodles. Loved both the dishes. Ambience was very soothing. Staff was informative and friendly.
It was amazing experience... Great food, ambience and staffs.. pad thai , noodles and tiger prawns were delicious.. thanks simon
The Tao Terrace (@thetaoterraces ) is a multi level Rooftop Lounge with an Asian Fine Dining Restaurant. .
.
It is one place you would want to visit for it's beautiful ambience. It has an indoor seating which has a Buddhist temple kind of interiors. There are big statues of Lord Buddha and other monks. It will give you a feel of "Thai Stilt House". .
.
The Terrace Lounge Bar is on the topmost floor and it has a rooftop seating where alcohol is served.
We had an egg noodles with a spicy chicken main course dish. They have a variety of Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Burmese and Korean Dishes. So there's a plenty of option

Asian Cuisine on my mind. First visit here. Had reserved in advance but tables were available when we went in and would have been ok if one hasn't reserved. Its located in the top floor of the 1 MG mall and ambiance is reminiscent of an Asian restaurant with dim lights and a rustic decor adding a charm.
They have open and enclosed seating as well and since we were with a kid, they said kids were not allowed in the open area which is fair considering smoking area is in play.
Our order consisted of Manchow Soup, Three Mushroom and Leeks dumpling, Teriyaki Chicken with Broccoli, Cantonese Fried Rice and Singapore Noodles. All of it was good on taste. Soup was rich and flavorsome broth. Dumpling was light and refreshing. Teriyaki was the dish of the day for me. Fried rice was regular stuff and noodles wonderful ! Wash it all down with a rich nutty brownie served with vanilla icecream. Also on the menu are both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks - my pick was the Cosmopolitan Cocktail which was Vodka based and went well with the experience. Service started off slow and it took almost 30 min for the soup to come post which the rest of the food came in real time.
Sushi lovers this is the place

I actually went to The Tao terraces for a quick lunch with great expectations. However, all expectations don't turn into reality and often disappoint you slightly. While I was caught between using Gourmet passport or zomato gold while ordering in, I was taken by surprise to know that they have a "Lunch buffet menu" However there was no lunch buffet set up so I enquired only to know that it's a set menu and it's limited. However they do have pretty good options.
To begin with, a lemon coriander soup. Really loved the subtle and mild flavours, only drawback was when I got an egg shell on my tongue.
Followed by chicken dimsums, a little to thick on the cover but otherwise pretty delicious filling of chicken.
My favorite was the crispy basil chicken - perfectly marinated and tossed in chilly basil sauce and some fresh basil.
For main course, I had the chilly Basil fish along with burnt garlic fried rice. You could also opt for thai curry chicken with steamed rice.
To end with, a portion of brownie with ice cream.
I wished someone actually came up to me for a feedback but none did! The staff aren't open to talk and have little knowledge about the dishes on the menu! Sai Sanjith B K and I were the only guests but still our glasses remained empty more than once!
The portion of brownie was 1/3rd of the vanilla. Ice cream scoop that was served. I wish the brownie was a tad bit bigger at least to satiate the cravings! For 499++, it could've been a little better however this place looks really lit in the evening!
Have been here a few times. My favourite is their khao suey which is a must try. The ambience is silent and relaxed.
The food is a little too much overpriced
I visited this place with my friend whose used to go there regularly for office parties. Most of the people were known to her. I ordered Crona beer and one Vodka shot.
The place was very nice, we enjoyed a lot that evening.
Sushi lovers, this is the place!!
What makes this place so special is ambience on roof top terrace with the DJ music.Β I recommend this as must visit place if you have plans to visit 1MG mall.
Delicious Japanese food , lovely ambience , romantic dinner place a must visit place for the love birds located in the heart of the city , easy to connect
The Tao Terraces gave us the highest quality Chinese experience. The ambience here is very aesthetically calm and dim. Every dish we ordered ie Spring rolls, Veg and Tofu gravy, Egg fried rice and Thai noodles had subtle deep flavors yet not spicy which makes any dish perfect that can only be made by a good professional.
Good food and ambience. We had lunch buffet at restaurant. The spread was not much but it was value for money and some good time at restaurant on lazy Sunday..
Chicken Soup was the best I ever had.
Mexican rice was descent.
Ambience would is a very rare soothing one.
Nice place to have conversations over food.
What's In Your Menu.?!

Visited this place for a birthday dinner on a weekday. Being a weekday, it wasn't much crowded.
Good ambience with Chinese kind of presentation. Service was OK.
Coming to the food, we had ordered for Vietnamese pho chicken soup, lettuce wrapped chicken among starters and veg pad Thai noodles.
The food was quite authentic here. The soup was lite and filled with flavours.
Though the name of the starters was lettuce wrapped chicken, the chicken wasn't wrapped in lettuce, both were given as separate. The chicken was cut into very thin ,small peices. It tasted very good.
Pad Thai noodles was different and nice. Was made of flat noodles. It was not the wide, flat noodle, which I had had elsewhere but was flat and thin one. Was lip smacking indeed.
The food plating was appealing.Quantity is a bit low and felt its quite high on the pocket. They have open terrace where alcohol will be served and very romantic with beautiful view.
Nice place, food was so good
Ambiance also nice
Service wa excellent
Were they serving mom wow
It was location opp Taj hotel near MG road
It roof mall terrace but so nice
Thank you.
Nice place to hangout! Good ambiance, and tasty food in thai style. Service could improve, staff could smile a bit. Other than that all good.
One of my all time favourites. Great Chinese food. You should try their dimsums and stir fried veggies. The folks serving are very nice & polite.

This was a 4 course meal including Soup, Salad, Main-Course and Dessert.
The main course was the most interesting as we had to create our own Poke Bowl and that was a whole new experience.
Poke means βto slice or cutβ in Hawaiian and Poke Bowl is a deconstructed sushi served as a main course or appetizer. We were given a sheet, in which we had to choose the Base, Protein, Veggies and Sauce. That sheet reminded me of a multiple choice question paper. π
We ended the meal on a sweet note with some sticky rice and fresh mangoes.
It was a lovely evening indeed.
In love with this place, they had a raw mango salad which was amazing! Also the crispy lotus stem, mushroom and water chestnut gravy was really nice.
If you are looking for an Asian delicacy near mg road, this place is a good pick. First half of the interior has a temple look. The lighting can be improved for a better experience. Well let's talk about food.
Assorted Maki veg - this was delicious.
Vietnamese pho veg - I have tried better.
Walnut toffee with vanilla ice cream- this was different and tasty which I tried for the first time.
All in all my experience was good. Staff was attentive and polite. Service was fast which a customer appreciates the most when really hungry. This place is spacious and a good option for small and bigger groups. Sushi lovers can definitely try this place out.
It was wonderful place. I went on Saturday.
Great ambiance.Music was very nice.
Staff is also friendly. Receptionist was very polite.
Totally amazing place to explore and to creat memories. Food was also good.
The first thing you will like about the restaurant is the ambiance.Definetly one of the best Rooftop in the city.Loved the Thai and Chinese food.
If you wish to relish your π£ sushi taste buds, do visit. Best for delightful and party popping evening. Visited twice and experience been the same, amazing in one word.
The ambience and the food is just great.
It was my first time ever trying sushis, and I really loveddd it!!
The dip - (ginger) forgot the name, was really tasty.
Peaceful and calm ambience.
Been here twice, ambience is too good and loved the appetizers. Quantity served for each dish is tummy fulfilling. Soups are not that great.. little bland could be made little spicy.
Very nice ambience.
Located at MG Road. Easy to find the location.
Excellent place for a Romantic Dinner.
Food was good and the staff were Courteous.
This is the restaurant where we go when we want to eat good Chinese food.... Have visited this place many times and have always loved the food and experience.... On our latest visit we had singapore noodles along with wok tossed mixed vegetables in sichaun sauce which turned out to be really amazing as always.... The Tao Terraces is one place in Bangalore which never disappoints....
I loved the Pho I had here. And the pad thai noodle was also nice.Overall the food was nice. The ambience is a bit dull.It could be improved. The service was nice.
Tao is for dining, Terraces is for partying. I had no clue about the separation until I was here last weekend, after finally succumbing to my Chinese food craving.
The place is pretty dimly lit, like most "authentic" Chinese diners. There was a constant gurgle of the indoor fountain as a soothing background music. Service was fairly okay.
Coming to food, I ordered for the Chili Basil Garlic Prawns and Chicken Singapore noodles. Both the items were very nicely made which clearly gave away the quality of ingredients used. It wasn't oily at all and the flavors were bang on!
Highly recommended for Chinese food lovers :)
