Imperial restaurant is one of the oldest in Bangalore on Residency Road. They only started opening branches few years back.
Not all branches match the main Imperial however the Shivajinagar branch has never disappointed me.
My usual order is Grilled chicken, Kerala Paratha, mutton bheja pepper dry an ghee rice. I have also tried their non veg tandoori platter an it's worth. An I can't count the number of times I have eaten in imperial. Must have eaten hundreds of times in imperial 🙂

It's just at the main road corner, which can be easily located. We went around 3pm and had Egg Biryani, Shawarma Roll and Tea. Biryani and Roll were deliciius, but tea was a disappointment..

Nice restaurant in 💓 of Shivaji Nagar Bangalore. Ambience is good but poor service. The taste of sea food is comparatively good. Regularly I used to order Chicken Hyderabadi Biryani, the taste is good but not Hyderabadi Biryani flavour. Better to concentrate on sea food rather than other dishes.
Located in the heart of town, this restaurant serves quality food at slightly higher prices. Ambience is quite good. Food is excellent, some dishes little non spicy. Tandoori platter, dal fry and chicken kolhapuri was excellent. Good experience.
This outlet serves succulent chicken kabab! Last time we visited, we had butter kulcha with dal tadka plus chicken kabab. Loved it! Dal tadka was actually finger licking good. 4 stars because I didn't find the washroom area clean and there are no mirrors!

I really love their biryani. I feel its one of the best banglore biryanis ive had. The chicken just falls off the bone. And good quantity as well. I tried the same biryani in another imperial restaurant and the taste was not the same.
Their grill chicken thali is also good. Good quantity and variety at a reasonable cost.
This place is in a main area, near the bus depot, easy to hit at. Firstly gotta talk bout the amazing dum chai, it was so soothing and very nice. The meals are fairly priced here with a good variety. The chicken 65 tasted amazing but it was a lil expensive. The Bangalore style biriyani tasted great. It’s worth to give this hotel a try

I had been a regular visitor of this place. This outlet is located right at the crossing of Shivaji nagar bus station. The location is an additional boon of this outlet. Ambience is good, clean and the staffs are well-behaved, polite and help with the orders.
Till date, I have tried several dishes from this place. Starting from ghee rice, jeera rice, Kerala paratha, wheat paratha, tandoori roti, dal fry, dal tadka, pepper chicken, butter chicken, grilled chicken, methi chicken, kadai chicken, chicken hyderabadi, chicken chettinad. I also tried their chicken biryani, mutton biryani, tikka kabab, reshmi kabab, shawarma roll. None of the dishes ever disappointed me till date. I also tried their fruit juices and also falooda with ice cream. All were very nice. In terms of the main course dishes, their dishes look very rich and spicy. But when you taste it, it's absolutely perfect.
I never tried their Chinese dishes, no comments on this topic. Else I will recommend this place to give it a try. As for me, I will definitely visit again.
Nice food . Staf there is humble they tell about food we have ordered wether it's too spicy or sweet. Service was quick. This is best place to visit if you are late and all other restaurants are closed( specially for people who watch night shows 😉 , as this is close to mg road )😊
Imperial restuarant, after empire the second best in this class is imperial. Like empire outlets this outlets will operate till late nights Imperial outlet is the entrance of corner and entrance of shivaji nagar. Its near to sangeet restaurant. Ambience , food , service is good.

Superb food, Pocket friendly and Quick service. I keep going to this place since its easy for me to commute. I love the biryani here its kerela style biryani rice which is cooked in coconut milk, mutton or chicken both are always cooked to perfection and is tender. All chicken items listed on the menu is also great. Must try are chicken Kabab, grill chicken, biryani, kerela paratha or cylone paratha and gravy. I keep ordering so much food regularly my bill will never reach above 700/-
This place is one of my option when it come to late night eating.
Ambience is not so very suitable for family dinner or a date dinner as the tables and chairs are pretty ordinary and interior too very ordinary.
Service is decent enough as there are many waiters who are prompt in attending customers and also the food is served quickly.
Parking is a problem during the day as its located near to the Shivajinagar bus stand. But if you are visiting after 10 pm then you will be able to find ample parking space.
Ghee rice, Grilled chicken, Tandoori roti, Chicken Dopyaza, Vanilla milk shake are all my personal favourites at this restaurant.

This is a place known for its spares like bheja, kaleji, etc. I however go here to indulge in some Teetar [quail] once in awhile. Getting here is easy & there's plenty of parking too as the Shivajinagar bus stand has a spacious parking lot in it.
The main concern of people who dine in this area is the hygiene. However this restaurant with it's slick facade & clean-tidy interiors addresses the concern of the foodies who want a hygienic meal. The interiors are bright and pretty tidy too for this locality. But unfortunately they need to get their wash basins repaired at the earliest. So will give the ambiance a 3*.
On my last visit on Saturday we ordered Chicken Manchurian which was very tasty & quite good in quantity too. Will give it a 4*. After this we ordered some tandoori rotis with kadai chicken gravy. This combo too was pretty good & will get a 4* from me.
We finally ended up having some aromatic jeera rice with dal & tomato ka khata. This too was pretty tasty & the flavors were not too overbearing.So the rice too gets a 4*. To end the day, I ordered some refreshing Sulaimani chai.
The service was quick & the staff were very eager to guide us in making our selection. So will give them a 4*. The VFM would be 4* too.

The grill here is so far the best one I've had in Bangalore . The masala is so damn nice and he doesn't roast the outer part much and there is one more green inner masala which adds to the taste . Biryani is also nice . Butter chicken is okok.must visit for grill chicken
This place has been a favourite in our family we usually visit here when in Bangalore but always prefer to take an takeaway as the ambience isn't that good. Food is the one which is highly recommended. Beja fry, dal, crispy chicken and ghee rice is a must try!!

This is a busy spot for a restaurant but to satisfy your carnivore cravings at a budget no better. The 3 best things to try when here and not go wrong - kerala paratha with chicken kebab and bheja fry dry - thats it. This is a no frills place , quick service , so dont go looking for finesse you wont find it . Just good food. And try to stick to what they are really good at - the stuff that i mentioned and ghee rice of course - anything else is just an extension and wont give you any satisfaction . For 250 bucks you can have all 3 dishes and fill yourselves what else !

Am basically from tamil nadu! Was searching fr a pucca veetu dosa n I found it here ... Sambar n chutney was good n a hot tea ..had a nice dinner ! But yu shud go before 8
This was just a snack time visit I made.the reason was the shavarma that I saw getting ready by 4 pm.

As I said I tried shavarma and a chikku shake. Both costs 70 bugs and is worth the amount you pay.
The shavarma is having good quality and quality.

Really nice restaurant. Service is good. They've one floor upstairs for family dining. Staff is good & friendly. Food is good. Try for the various types of Biryanis, kebebs, Chinese items, Indian curries, pulpy grape juice......

Had dinner for two pax, the bill was around 550 ! Tastes okay and service could have been a bit speed up as it was not crowded by the time.
One of the branches of the Imperial food chain located at Shivaji nagar... Grill thali was a good combo and the fried chicken burger was juicy 😋

We ordered mushroom 🍜, mixed 🍜, pineapple🍍 juice, lime soda, butter naan, and butter chicken curry. All the food was tasty. Service was also good. There is washroom in the first floor for ladies and gents. There was a lot of empty seats in the first floor. The ground floor was a little bit congested.
Food was good, but mutton hyderabadi was too much spicy u can't even eat,. Even if u touch with your bare hands than it was start giving burning sensation.
Staffing services was worst, they need to fix it.

Overall, I would give Imperial restaurant 4 out of 5 stars. While the dishes didn't quite meet my expectations, the service and atmosphere were both quite enjoyable.
Starting with the positives, the atmosphere of the restaurant was very pleasant. The decor was tasteful and the lighting was just right - not too bright and not too dim. The restaurant had a nice, cozy feeling that made it feel like a great place to unwind after a long day.
The service was also quite good. The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and they were happy to answer any questions we had about the menu.
Unfortunately, I have to say that the dishes themselves weren't quite up to the mark. While they weren't bad per se, they didn't quite meet the high expectations I had for them. Some dishes were a bit bland and lacked the depth of flavor that I was hoping for. That being said, there were a few standout dishes that were quite good.
Overall, I would definitely recommend giving Imperial restaurant a try, especially if you're looking for a nice atmosphere and good service. While the dishes weren't perfect, there were certainly some highlights that made the meal enjoyable.
The best Vegetarian Biryani I had in the south was from this place.

Well known to many as the taste remains the same from ages.. All i love is parota, kheema pepper, kabab, mutton biriyani and ghee rice. This restaurant is open till 2am. Would highly recommend this place.
One of the oldest restaurants of the Imperial hotel chain located near Shivaji Nagar Bus terminal. The hotel is neat, spacious and tidy. They mainly specialise in Malabar, Mughalai and Arabian dishes. ordered malai kabab as starter and family pack biriyani as main course . The family pack biriyani was good but the quantity was a little less. The staff were well mannered and cooperative.
