First time experience of Marathi food. Loved it. I am not a seafood lover but the Crab was made magnificently. The Mango dessert was too good and that Sabudana paav was mouth watering..5 stars from me.

Yummy tasty food. Maharashtra style cuisine. One must try Pooran poli with Aamras which is very tasty. Though they have both veg and non veg along with egg items I haven't tasted the same.

We went with family on Sunday evening for Dinner. The place was not very crowded. We ordered Fried mutton, Fried chicken and Puranpoli thali. The food was very tasty and Tambda Pandhra rassa was surprisingly authentic. The quantity of food in thali is more than enough for 1 person.

Highly recommend the chicken and fish thalis. Total value for money. Every item in the thali is delectable. Quantity is more than just enough. Ambience is the only downside, but for price they charge it is totally worth it.

Typically Maharashtrian food what you yearn for when you are in south...great portion, taste 😋 Recently visited again for lunch. Had ordered fish Thali 🐟..quantity and quality and taste was really good. We were welcomed very warmly. The owner suggested some helpful tips also to us. But I would like to suggest the owner to redecorate the restaurant. The seating arrangement was ok. The ceiling needs renovation seriously. We mahastraians should always give presentations as per modern time. Please don't get offended but sincerely I am suggesting.

Delicious and sumptuous Non vegThalis. I went there after almost a decade and this time, with my wife. Super glad to see that they have maintained their quality. My wife loved their food so much that we went there twice in a span of one week. Definitely coming back. Note: Some of the thalis might be a little pricey for some but the food was to our liking. Hence, we didn't mind paying a little extra.

If you love Maharashtrian food, you should visit this place. The ambiance is quite average. The hospitality of the staff is good. The food we had here was : Surmai fry- great Fish thali-lovely The fish thali was luscious as it contained fish fry, three chapati, prawns, dry prawns, fish curry, rice, sol kadi, and Gulab jamun. The Marathi music playing in the background was giving good vibes. Overall, a casual place to taste Maharashtrian cuisine.

Had been there for lunch on a Thurs afternoon 08/12/2022 at around 3:00 PM. The owner gladly talks to the customers and has a very friendly approach. The service is also fast, even though I went at an odd time, I was given good hot food. Veg Thali had sufficient quantity and variety. I felt like the food was home cooked food. I tried Mackerel (Bangda) rawa fry and also prawns rawa fry, prawns Malwani masala which were really tasty. It's a good place to have an authentic Maharashtrian food. There's a lot more to try like chicken and mutton kolhapuri etc. Kheema pav, vada pav, snacks etc. Overall, Food was : 5/5 Seating was : 3.5/5 Service : 5/5 Washroom : 3/5 Car /2 Wheeler Parking is off Street.

If you are in Bangalore and missing Maharashtrian food then visit Suryawanshi. They have branches at Whitefield, Indiranagar and a new one opening up at Church Street.

A hidden gem to say the least! Don't get deceived by the less than moderate looks of the restaurant. The food is excellent! Every item was too good and I'm told the taste is truly Maharashtrian. Not too heavy on the pocket as well. I would definitely visit again when I do get a chance.

Everything is delicious Their standard chicken and mutton thali is to die for They also have basic Maharashtrian snacks like Misal Pav, Vada Pav, Sabudana vada etc. Food quantity: Good quantity, Food price: Reasonably priced My Order: We ordered Chicken Thali, Vada Pav, Misal Pav and it was all just awesome.

It's on second floor of the building. If you really want to try the Maharashtras Favorite Kolhapuri (non-veg) dish give it a try, it's worth it. Veg options are also available. Specially Misal (another Kolhapuri breakfast dish) served here. Great taste. Highly recommend. It might take some time to prepare your order, but the wait is worthy.

Nice place for Marathi meals, have options for both Veg and Non-Veg, must try sabudana vada, and Gala Veg Thali and Mutton Thali. The ambience can be improved and wash room need maintenance. Overall good taste.

We have been frequently visiting Suryawanshi since it was launched. Like the maharashtrian Thali, Puran Poli Thali, Zunka Bhakar thali. On our recent visit, tried the Kolhapuri dishes : veg Kolhapuri which was full of kolhapur spices and a rich masaledar gravy and same goes for Kolhapuri Daal which had a spicey combination of kala masala, garam masala and moong daal which was mouthwatering. We relished these with perfect fulkas which were straight from fire! Also a must try with the spicey meal is the Kokum and Coconut Solkadhi( refreshing and cool) with a wonderful drink with pink colour and chill-ginger-cumin flavour! This is a simple, no fuss and no fancies place. Rates are very reasonable, and service is decent too. You can see the actual cooking in the kitchen through the glass walls. Enjoy authentic maharashtrian Cuisine ( malvani, kolhapuri, coastal) Puran Poli is a must try after your meal! As far as sitting goes, they can add better chairs and some spruce up on the decor will be really welcome!

A perfect place to visit when we are looking out for Maharashtra food. We ordered Gala Vegiterian Thali and Pooran Poli Thali. Both the options were good. The quantity of good is more than sufficient. Variety is good. Sweets are of good quality. Pooran Poli was awasome. Kadhi Bhaat and Aamti Bhat was good. The good was heavily loaded with unnecessary oil and spices. Very good. Keep it up team Suryawanshi Restaurant. The premises is one second floor and it seems the building maintenance team is not maintaining lift. It is inconvenient for senior citizens to climb stairs for two floors. Good good, good service, good interior and Marathi music. All well as much more than expected. Will surely visit again to try other food items varieties.
