Manjith Da Dhaba is near my office and all my colleagues have been raving about their food since forever.
So one of our colleagues farewell we decided to go there.
My first impression..."Not a very place"
The menu is not exhaustive.
However trust me whatever they have tastes amazing.
We ordered:
Aloo pyaaz paratha and paneer paratha ..both really good.
Jeera rice and kadhi - decent
Baingan ka bhartha, Dal Makhani and Bhindi Masala- excellent
Probably the best baingan bhartha and dal makhani I have had in Bangalore.
I have also been ordering regularly these days from them and the taste never disappoints me.
Prices very reasonable and the food tastes homely.
In terms of ambience they havent put much of an effort; however the food is soo good that one would not really care much about anything else.

It is one of those places that offer you the joy of discovery. It is nestled in a corner near the railway tracks. Simple vegetarian food with a hearty glass of lassi is what the restaurant offers.
Amazing, affordable and tasty... Worth the money. Prompt service
Very honest food ! Liked it very much .. both the taste and the price. Thanks
Tasty food in reasonable price
Right from my college days to my home alone days, never felt that there will be a compromise on quality food when it comes to spending less money . when I visited this place for the first time, I can easily say that I had a healthy food meal for 250/- Thank you paaji keep serving us good food.
After reading a lot of good reviews, decided to visit the place. It took a while to find the place as mentioned by everyone.
Coming to the food, it was really good, less oil, less masala...we ordered Paneer and mixed paratha, jeera rice, kadi and paneer burji.
The parathas and kadi was awesome! Paneer burji was okay...nothing great! The parathas were light! Phulkas were so light ! Canāt wait to go there again and try their other dishes...
Finally ended the meal with gulab jamun which was delicious. It was very soft inside and was served hot!
Will visit again soon...
Ambience : itās not a fine dine but gives you a good dhaba feel. The posters were funny ....
Service was prompt.
While it looks nothing less than a fancy cafe, this dhaba has authentic punjabi parathas and lassis. Must haves here are the gobhi paratha, aloo paratha, paneer paratha, full lassi, and don't forget to ask for loads of extra butter.
Hey guys!!
It's a very beautiful place. Mostly office person comes over there and had there delicious food. Very fast service. Must visit...
Happy customer.

It would have been a 5* only of the phulka was softer and the packaging more tidy. The food is homelike, tasty and sumptuous. Please work on thr packaging
Awesome vegetarian foods, yummy š. the service was quick and hygienic food overall. Went for the dinner and it was quite a decent experience for us. Kind staffs .
Food is really really good. You can't find any better Punjabi food. The pakodas in Kadhi are so crispy and delicious, you can't get enough of them.
The Lassi is too yumm and too much in quantity. Tried all their stuff parathas, can't complain about anything.
Totally loved it. Just one advice, if you order more than 2 parathas, order separately, they give one butter piece for one plate. So if you order, let's say 3 parathas together, you will get 1 butter piece for all of them.
Happy Eating!
Great place for authentic North Indian food..
It's a bit clumsy place, but as far as ambience isn't a concern, it's a must go..
Prices are unbelievably low!
Went to this place with my friends. Ordered Aloo pararha, gobi paratha with sahi paneer.
The paratha was so tasty that we felt eating more and so we ordered again the same paratha. Sahi paneer was ok ok.
My fren suggested this place for lunch and must say it was worth trying ... It's right next to the bridge and just five min walk from office
Food ordered : pulka , dal tadka , aloo mutter , baingan bartha and lassi
Every bit of what we ordered tasted too good and we ended up eating more and it gives the touch of home food.
Small place which only serves vegetarian north Indian food. Had the rotis, paneer burji and curry. Also had the lassi along with the meal, happy with the experience.
This place is my absolute go to when I crave for North Indian Home like food.
It's a little outlet in Frazer town.Their ambience is cute.
It's usually full on weekends but on weekdays you might get lucky.
The food here is delicious.Everything on their menu is lip smackingly nice.
I personally recommend their Dal makhani alot.
Best part is that is really really light on your pocket.
This place is a must must visit!
one must say its a little hard to find at first but thanks to google. Been there twice now. PURE VEG
Really decent and well decorated place to visit.
Service is fast and good, when you ask they suggest the best things according to your taste.
you will get good taste at resonable price. Quantity is ample.
must have are dal makhani, paneer bhurji, bhindi fry, lassi.
Must visit this place.
I recommend this tiny dhaba for every veg lover. Itās a place to treat your buds, food is very oily and even more tastier. A must visit place for paneer Birji and rajma lovers. I canāt resist myself thinking of this dhaba whenever I pass by that road. My favourite has been paranthas. Authentic, Healthy and kudos to their quick service.
I had been to this place yesterday and I had wonderful Punjabi dishes in reasonable price such as Dal try in 80 rs n bhindi fry in 100...#foodie_satisfied
Authentic veggie only Punjabi dhaba right in the heart of the city.
The parathas are quite a stomachfull but you would not regret overeatingš
Awesome punjabi food. Cheapest price. Have visited 3 times. Always had the paneer Bhurji and lassi. The food is tasty and light on stomach. You can try the Sarson Da Sag during this winter.
A great, pocket-friendly dhaba in the neighborhood which is always teeming with people.
Hard to find such a pure vegetarian dhaba so extra points for that.
Tried: Aloo Paratha, Methi Paratha, Paneer Bhurji, Aloo Gobi, Rajma and jeera rice and of course the lassi (beware - donāt order the āfullā size unless youāre sure of finishing it)
Manjit da dhaba never disappoints! I like everything they make, paneer mushroom, kadhi, mix veg are worth mentioning. Dining in might not work for everyone as they have small and old place, take away or delivery works for me.
This is one of the best places I have been so far. There are many restaurants which will serve you good food, or have good ambiance etc. but few restaurants make you feel good. Everything is so perfect about this restaurant. Service was nice. Since it was Manjit the Dhaba, so I thought let's try something punjabi. I ordered Verity of Pratha Gobi, Muli,Or methi ka pratha and lassi . It was delicious š and Punjabi Theme that made it restaurant stands out of other restaurants. Highly recommended.
Food here gives an essence of Punjab. Authentic Punjabi dhaba serving good food at reasonable price. Must try bhaingan da bhartha, lassi and dal makhni. Location is not so good but once you have food here, location will not be a concern. Loved it!
Guys! If you are craving for some authentic Punjabi food in Banaswadi, this is the place to visit! Their aloo parathas are to die for! š Considering how they have revamped the entire place, it now looks so much more visually appealing and l totally love the Punjabi vibe that it brings out. Very efficient service and extremely budget friendly; this place is very popular among students and techies alike! The place tends to get crowded in the late evenings so try and be there around 7 , if you want to avoid standing in lines.
Extremely amazing food here. Very cheap indeed. I was introduced to this place by a friend when I first came here to Bengaluru. The Punjabi food for which it is known for is out of the world. You would love it. You cant rate this place for ambience and stuff. This is like for people of all classes but the food is hygeinic and lovely. Arguably one of the best in Bengaluru is what people said and I tend to totally agree.
Tucked away in a corner of Cox town, Manjit Da dhaba is not easily found the first time around. But once you find it, you won't be disappointed! Their food is very tasty and reminiscent of one's home and the staff are very polite and courteous. Always greet you with a smile on their face.
Homely punjabi food in a very punjabi ambience. This place is slightly difficult to find given itās location but is totally worth the effort. Prices are very reasonable and the food is healthy and tasty. Looking out for pure vegetarian food and missing that original dal makhni and palak paneer, this is the place to go. Parathaās are very reasonable and recommended.
Almost entire menu I had tasted....mine favorite is Baingan bharta. One of the best places to try Punjabi food. Ambience is good... Try kheer, gulab jamun..
Manjeet is an authentic dhabha in Bangalore.

Missed Veg, Paneer Burji,Mixed Paratha are a must
They have renovated the place and now the ambiance is also scores a 4/5
The location of this place is a little eerie of you are not a local person.
Brilliant. Simple food but amazing quality and value in cost. Must try the phulkas - soft as butter! Overall, eating food here makes you feel like you're right at home!
Authentic Punjabi Taste! Also, comes with great price & ambience. I especially liked their Paneer bhurji, it was completely on an another level. The original Punjabi styled lassi, served in a huge glass was phenomenal.

"Ghar ka khana" .
If you prefer proper north indian food with desi ghee and paneer bhurjee with lassi as a side drink , blindly visit this place .
You will be overwhelmed and I am pretty sure you won't stop visiting this place again and again.
I am in love with the Ambience food and service.
What else you want ??? š

A must visit if you are in or around the city , with a great change over it also has a great taste for food and it's service is really fast.
Recommended for Punjabi food lovers, the taste is authentic and if you are a train lover you will have a wonderful view of the railway
It is preferable to call once before going there as sometimes it is crowded
This is a traditional dhaba style restaurant, serving mostly vegetarianĀ punjabi style food.Ā After renovation the restaurant looks really charming.Ā The ambiance is very charming with funny quotes, all around the wall. The service is fast, and the staffs are very polite.Ā
Coming back to the food, the parathas and plain phulka are reallly good. Almost all of the items are really delicious.Ā We ordered Paneer bhurji, dal makhnai, onion paratha, alu paratha, bengan bhartha, dal, everything was really delicious. Although I did not like the palak panner.
One thing I really appreciate is their Lassi, its monster size and totally mind blowing.Ā
The price is reasonable and pocket friendly. I would therefore definitely recommend this place, if you are looking for budget friendly authentic Punjabi style food.

What do you get here?
You get -
Lip-smacking Parathas. Delicious sides. Lots of butter. Quick service. Urban Dhaba experience. Copious amounts of refreshing chaas (buttermilk). Witty wall quotes. Satiated feeling post eating. Loud burps after Parathas. :P
Never had such delicious paranthas before!! Alu parantha and Gobi parantha were at their best!! The lassi was thick and soothing and was served in traditional Punjabi big steel tumbler. The rajma chawal was tasty. All in all a tasty budget meal :) will definitely visit this place again..
packing of food need to improve
Ambience 7/10
Service 8/10
Food 9/10
Manjit has now been refurbished and renovated to a new and modern Avatar. The old dark restaurant is now painted with bright and vibrant colours and have new art work on the walls probably looking to attract a new demographic of people.
The service here is quick and efficient. As thier food is easy to make and they have a great team of cooks be sure to get your food in a matter of minutes.
The food is absolutely delicious. They gave a set a different parathas which are all delicious. Thier phulkas are thin and light and can be eaten by the dozen. The lassi here is delicious but are massive in size. If you're going to order the full lassi make sure you still have space for it because it's no easy task to finish.
This is probably the only pure veg restaurant in the city I visit regularly and I would suggest everyone to go here if you're in the are or just looking for a pocket friendly option to fill your stomach.
I rate this restaurant 8/10
I was pleasantly surprised to see the change in the interiors of Manjit Da Dhaba. The funky new posters, modernized kitchen, improved tables etc.. all added to the already homely food experience.
The food was incredible like always, and promises to consistently offer you the same quality!
If you're missing home cooked food then Manjit is the place to be. Fantastic quality at a very affordable price, and I can assure you going back feeling over stuffed (in a good way!)
Amazing dhaba. The best aloo parathas. The shahi paneer was amazing. The place is crowded.
Itās a must visit. Iām going to keep coming back each time Iām around this are.
exceptional delivery boy.
Authentic Punjabi food. First time in Bengaluru, after one and half decades after shifting from Chandigarh, I could have real taste of Punjab outside home.
Tasty food newly renovated Manjit da dhaba gives you feel of punjab display boards written punjabi cum english nice ambiance
Must visit if looking for punjabi food near to Frazer town
Manjit Da dhaba has always been known for their amazing, homely food. We had been hunting for good, authentic north indian food in Bangalore for ages. We ate so much that we were in food coma.
We ordered paneer paratha, aalu paratha, methi paratha, Shahi paneer, dal makhani, rajma masala, buttermilk, lassi and gulab jamun, all of which was the best of whatever we have had in Bangalore.
The quantity of everything is perfect and absolutely justifies the price.
The over all ambiance is of a friendly, cute, every day kind of a dhaba. The staff is very friendly and prompt as well. The service is very fast too. Overall an amazing experience. Would recommend to every foodie.
I ordered for Rajma and rice and absolutely loved it.
I always like your food. Ghar ke khane ke yaad dila dete ho ap log. Keep up the good work
This is by FAR the best Punjabi Dhaba I've been to in Bangalore. Note: This is definitely not upscale, so people troop in wearing pajamas. The food is fresh, very well-cooked, and tastes divine. The gentlemen who run the place are professional and courteous.
Definitely one of the most satisfying meals Iāve had in Bangalore. Value for money doesnāt even begin to describe this place! Small and cute. Nothing fancy but when youāre so engrossed in your delicious dhaba food, the place hardly matter.
Favourites:
Paneer Bhurji
Dal Makhani
Aloo Paratha
Onion Paratha
Are you hungry? Are you starving like anything, I'm telling you this place is best for those who do not want to compromise in taste, quantity and quality. Perfect combo of everything, limited menu with ultimate taste. Pure taste right from the sadda pind to namma Bangaluru. Must try bengan bhartha and daal. I visited more than 5 times till date. They serve you hot kheer freshly made in desert which is proper climax of any meal. Go for it without second thought.
I took went with my beloved here as she was missing home food. The place never disappoints. Everything from parathas to papad are great. Best part is staff knows Punjabi and its fun talking to them.
If u r in Bangalore anytime and luking for authentic punjabi food and lassi da galaas.
Ji aya nu.
This place is amazing paaji. Cheap and best. (pure veg)
Amazing place, full value for money. They donāt need an introduction or feedback! They know their business and do it well. Lassi is amazing. Had been for lunch, packed Parathaās for my dinner too :-)
Itās a decent setup, donāt expect luxury! All you can expect is yummy food....
I don't stay in Bangalore anymore. However, I had been to this place few times during my stay. One of my friend introduced me to this place. Being a Delhite it becomes difficult to find good North Indian food in South. In case you are able to, it won't be cheap.
This place was a bit far from my place but worthy enough to travel and have food there. You get authentic and typical desi dhaba food and that too at reasonable prices. I remember we were four friends and enjoyed the meals without crossing 200 bucks.
You might feel the place is congested but that's how dhabas are but the service was prompt and one could quickly find a table.
In the end, saves a north indian frm going crazy in south. :p
Amazing qualitative food. Real home made taste. Been ordering/having from here from the past 12 odd years.
A simple place and good food and priced well. Good Punjabi food. Had the butter milk, paratha and a Palak paneer. All good !
Can accommodate about 25 to 35 people. Open kitchen concept so you can see your order getting prepared.
A very simple place with a basic set up but done well so set expectations accordingly.
Give it a try šš½
One of my favourite places to have North Indian food, even though they only make vegetarian food. The food here makes you miss less of North and more of home. The food here is worth it.
The location of the place can be a bit strange for some, but it's a hidden gem in that area and for a change you'll find Indian railways passing by you on the tracks.
Have tried most of their dishes from the menu, the food is very reasonably priced in which aaloo Paratha and Rajma chawal being our favourite. The Gajar ka halwa if available is a dessert you must try.
If you are from the north or crave some authentic North Indian food, this place is for you.
Menu is attached in photos, also note this place is closed on Tuesdays, so plan accordingly. It also has delivery available via swiggy and Zomato but do come down and visit this place at least once to have it served to you hot and fresh.
Breakfast is not available here, the place usually opens by 12 noon.
My favourite Punjabi restaurant. Definitely must go there to have a great time.

I have been eating at this place for more than 11 years now. The authenticity and taste is same for all these years. This is my goto place for Veg foods. A truly authentic Punjabi veg restaurant. Dont miss out their Lassi - its an ultimate heaven. If you are visiting this place then try to get the seat by the big window which overlooks the railways tracks
Food - 10/10
Taste - 10:10

One of the most authentic Punjabi places Iāve seen here in the south! Once we went there and had their food, we kept going and going again. The ambience is quite good, the service is impeccable and food bloody delicious!! Theyāre charged nominally and the owner seems like a nice person who cares about his staffs. Baingan ka bartha, sarson ka saag and Bhindi fry was an absolute banger! Iād highly recommend this place for every vegetarians!
So this in one best place in Bangalore for quality Punjabi food. I am continuously visiting this place from last 7 years in Bangalore and still the same taste and quality. I will suggest to have once visit and taste some Lassi, paratha and chilli paneer.
Went for the first time, a simple Punjabi veg restaurant. Baigan ka bartha was good, infused with the smokey flavor in it. Overall a cosy place , limited menu, good experience.
Amazing place to enjoy the vegetarian food. My personal favourite here is bhaingan ka barta, bindi fry, phulkas and Lassi.
Never miss these. A decent dabha to enjoy authentic Punjabi style food.
while entering the restaurant the outside atmosphere was not that good so i doubted the ambience and food taste, quality but soon as I received my order i felt this was the best, softest phluka I've ever eaten and the panner butter masala also surprised me even the cost is affordable!
Been a resident of North Bangalore for the last 15 years. Never knew that this 'gem of a place' existed.
Smoking hot Parathas straight from the tava topped with a dollop of makhan ... Personally, I loved the Onion and Methi Parathas.
Dal Makhani was simply outstanding ..!!!
Gulab Jamun to die for :)
Finger (and palm) licking good place āŗļø... !!!
