If you are craving for authentic Punjabi cuisine in South India. This is your spot for reasonable price. Make sure you visit on time to avoid queues
This is one of the best Punjabi Dhaba i’ve been in for a while. It’s vegetarian and food is made just to order. So its hot n fresh. it might take a while for service but it’s worth the wait.
the furniture is all basic but kept clean n tidy. one man show, but well organized n worth coming again.
The highlight is the lassi in a large copper tumbler. All the recipes were authentic n delicious.
Too much crowded,
need to reserve and wait for an hour and more for.our turn to be called
Need to inform all the menu required before making initial reservation
Hu ger goes off in this meantime
Atmosphere is ok ok.
Plain Paratha is super good
Suggestions : Palak paneer, paneer burji and lassi
If you’re craving for typical north indian food and dhaba feels, then Bobby Da Dhaba is the place you should visit without any second thought. The guy is from Patiala and manages the crowd very efficiently. On Sunday night, average waiting time is 1 hour but the food is worth it. Go have a sumptuous north india dhaba food here.
Few weeks back visited this place on a Saturday night while entering in Bengaluru. There closing time is 10:30pm, but I called to the restaurant number if they will take orders at 10:20pm. He politely said: koi gal nahi, tussi aao 😊. It was close to fully packed at that time of night. Serves only pure vegetarian food with lots of butter 😉.
We have ordered one paneer curry, chapattis. Curry was different than normal paneer curry, kind of tomato onion gravy/chutney but with less oil and masala. I loved it. Service was good. Not an expensive restaurant.
I checked few reviews before visiting this place, few people have mentioned about the rude behaviour of owner and slow service by staff, so what I noticed is, one of the waiter is little different than others, he was doing his job with a smile, but yes little late, but I don't think anyone should have problem with his service. One should feel happy that person is employed and happy.
Owner is not rude- that's how Punjabi people talk, and in that environment where restaurant was fully packed, owner has to shout, it is dhaba so that can be expected.
Yes, there is the waiting time.
Good Punjabi veg food.
Once you are dined in, u will definitely try lot of things.
Amazing Veg Place. Must Visit, mouth watering hot and very tasty food. Very courteous friendly staff. Small place behind Nagasandra Metro station. (5 minutes walk)
They are the same people who had this Dhaba place next to Gurdwara in Ulsoor.
The food is tasty. However you will have long waiting so its good to plan and go. The place can definitely use sime extra hands to reduce wait time. Being a punjabi dhaba i missed makke ki roti else everything is yumm. Lassi is just soooo good.
The menu doesnt have prices which is a little sad so you don't know how much you ll be paying.
We had ordered 2 small lassi, 1 chaas, 4 ghre roti, 1 plate aloo paratha which has 2 parathas, 2 plain paratha, jeera rice, sardo ka saag, kadai paneer and 1/2 dal fry. All of this was for around 1100
Worth visiting this place for authentic punjabi dishes.. got to taste the diffenet variety of Paratha's like paneer paratha, aloo paratha , Rajma rice , Shahi paneer and trust me the that I tasted was amazing.
Would definitely recommend to visit this place.
Not to miss the full jar Lassi ..
SOWMYA MOHAN.
Too slow service but worth waiting..
Located just 200 meters from Nagasandra metro station. Food is very tasteful with apt pricing...one need to wait for 30 min avg for getting their seating...parking is little challenge
