I just tried their Korean menu and it was phenomenal! Loved the food, the staff was friendly and the ambience was nice! I most vehemently recommend it if you are a Korean food lover...!

After such a long time a restaurant that does not disappoint on any front!!! Without any specific expectations, I visited here on day 2 of their being open. My friend and I had 2 cocktails, 8 food thingies, and a dessert, and they were EACH outstanding!!! Service was warm and attentive (maybe a little toooo attentive), and the small plates and sushi and dim sum was AMAZE! Will definitely be going back, with more friends.

Here's my ranking:
1. Classic Cheesecake with Sour Cherry Coulis: Always been a sucker for good cheesecake so which makes this vote slightly biased? I'm sorry
2. Japanese Cheesecake: Pillowy soft Portuguese Castella (fluffy sponge cake) complimented by a Raspberry sorbet giving a tangy zest to this fluffy goodness
3. Le Coco Bar: Chewy chocolate caramel bars served with a nutty praline base, peanut butter cream and creamy salted caramel ice cream
4. Coffee Crémeux with Vanilla Ice cream: "Crémeux" is French for creamy and boy is it creamy. Dense, soft coffee pudding made with espresso and complimented with their own in-house vanilla ice cream
5. Matcha and Raspberry Ice Cream Meringue Cake: Not the biggest fan of matcha anything but the sour raspberry ice cream compliments the matcha ice cream deliciously and the hazelnut praline and pistachio crumble brings everything together
6. Avocado Parfait with Gooey Brownie Squares and Matcha Soil: One of my favorite Avocado Desserts. The combination of all three along with their in-house vanilla ice cream is a treat to my taste buds
7. Chocolate Fondant Cake: Classic gooey lava cake served with their vanilla ice cream
8. Deconstructed Apple Pie: Apple is slow cooked with orange reduction and served with lemon gel, meringue, peanut cream and buttermilk sorbet
1q1 has been a place I have been visiting for almost a year now. Be it the amazing staff who take care of you so well or the management who treat you like you are "special" is what any individual would want when you go out to a place. 1q1 is all inclusive of the above. The food is mouth watering, the ambience is beautiful and always well kept. The music is just brilliant. I play on Saturday's in this venue. I play the opening set later it is followed by these brilliant artists who are hand picked and chosen for there abilities, who bring in new music Everytime. A glimpse of it is the pic attached, the place is packed on a Saturday night which is a global party hosted by VKP events. 1q1 has a lot of interesting things planned during other days as well, like workshops, live music, learning how to make cocktails or cooking excellent dishes and more. Gaurav Mehta DJ in the pic is just brilliant with his skills. You have to be there to witness all of this. Place to be and recommended 100%.

Were you confused all this while about where you should go and grab that perfect Christmas brunch?
Well, I was too and then I came across the very tempting menu from 1Q1 kitchen and bar in Vasanth nagar and headed there.
It all looked so gorgeous, merry and christmassy. Every dish to drink had a touch of Christmas in them and they also had live music while we hummed our brunch away.
To begin with, they had a selection of appetizers like Thai chilli potatoes, Kale water chestnut and sesame dumplings, grilled prawns with antichuto sauce,fish in honey chilli mustard sauce and sticky chicken wings.
They also had a noodle trolley from where you could pick your ingredients and make your own Asian combination!
Then you could walk straight up to the counter to enjoy some Spiced blinis with smoked salmon and crab meat, Asian prawn cocktail, grilled shrimp and quinoa spring rolls, glazed berry rolls, baked hoisin chicken wings, baked thai tofu bites and baked creme brulee French toast with blueberry preserves.
For desserts, they had all those Christmas delights you can think of - plum cake, gingerbread men, donuts, pecan pies, frosted cupcakes, berry scones, yule log and so on.
For cocktails, they had an interesting menu that had classical drinks like eggnog and even mulled wine.
Despite the rush on a Christmas, the staff were selfless and made every effort to make sure that you have a spotless dining experience.
Best place to chill with friends. Had nice variety of food. Great interior of the place.

Ambiance : Loved the decor and the ambiance. Looked pricey and elite. Upmarket feel.
Service : Very attentive and discrete.
Food : Very well presented. Very Pretty. I hoped that the food tasted as good as they the dishes looked and I wasnt disappointed. The salad green mango and pappaya salad, one o favs was done very well. The Sushi-Sashimi dishes like Salmon Sashimi, Crab stick california Roll, Salmon and bread cheese roll were very good. We had also tried the Umani prawns, Fish in Black pepper sauce, Pan fried jalapeno with pork, Pork spare ribs with red miso and We tried couple of mains and they were good too. The desserts had exotic names and were as good as the name - Deconstructed Apple pie and the classic cheesecake with sour cherry coulis.
Liked th cosy ambience and found the prices to be moderate!

A fun filled night with my friend. This place has everything from ambience,music, food, people and service. One of the best place in the city to try Sushi. Martin D'Souza was on the stand playing music. Extremely good crowd. If you love to tap on the English numbers with the taste of food and drinks, then it is a must to go place.
1q1 is definitely worth a visit pub. Great ambience, crowd and music. The disco ball is so pretty to look at. Good hospitality and food. It's all Japanese cuisine that's too bland but would taste perfectly Lip-smacking by mixing up the sauces that come with it so fellow vegetarians, looking for Indian food, take a note.
I ordered vegetarian dry spicy Agedashi Tofu, Spinach and corn dimsum and medium spicy Pan Fried Noodles coupled with a few drinks. Everything tasted good.
It was very nice overall including the food and the service. Although, I felt like Bangalore has many amazing pan-Asian places and this was good but not great! They could have been more creative with the menu, the sushi’s were decent but could be better. The service was amazing.

Decent place to visit for breakfast on Sundays. I tried the Florentine egg Benedict and mushroom quiche. Taste is good but portion size is tiny. Their smoothies are good.

The next in our series of desserts is the Japanese Cheesecake from 1Q1 Bangalore! This dessert is a classic cheesecake, a fluffy sponge cake, served with a raspberry sorbet. Although it’s not jiggly like the traditional Japanese cheesecake, it’s got a soft and delicate texture inside - so good, so soft and so satisfying!

One the very few places in Bangalore where I’ve tasted the best sushi. The prawns, the drinks, the sushi and the duck were wonderfully interesting and was served by their courteous staff in an entrancing ambience.
Perfect place for a girls night out or just people wanting to hang out. The dim sums are amazing!!! Went tiwce in 15 days to have it:)) I forget the Japanese noodles but it was out of the world.
Only complaint is that desserts aren't that great

I went to 1Q1 for expat night! It was a lot of fun and it was nice to see other expats although cover was way to expensive, it was 2000 rupees. Fortunately I managed to get in for free, else I wouldn’t have gone!

Have heard mixed reviews of the place so decided to give it a go! The green curry was a bit tepid on the taste buds but the noodles and soup got it right. Interesting place with good ambience and live music days are worth it. Like all places, avoidable on very busy nights. Service was very good, but then we were also early diners.
It isn't every day that you come across a truly excellent restaurant; right from the colourful, almost Jaime Zuverza-like decor to the first-rate Asian food, 1Q1 has it all on-point. We tried the dumplings, the Robatayaki and Futomaki; all through, the seafood preparations really stood out - really fresh, well-cooked and packed with flavour. I highly recommend the grilled octopus and the sum of 10 dumpling platter. All the in-house cocktails looked really interesting and the ones we tried were superb.
All that said, the Japanese Cheesecake was a disappointment. We really expected it to be the authentic, full-of-wobble, fluffy-as-a-cloud cheesecake but it was everything but that. ☹️
Refreshing ambience with nice background music, Mr.Aditya, Mr.Pintu and Mr.Chanso they just rock at their hospitality ! Very interesting varieties of food.... cheese rolls with sweet chilli dip tasted best !!! Food served hot hot very quickly with maintaining hygiene and taste !Over all a must visit place for Japanese food lovers !!
So many Asian themed places, but only a few get it right food wise. 1Q1 is one such place.
I’m sure it’s a happening destination at night, but being a proper food lover, I went for lunch. I was suggested the veg Thai Bento Box, and ordered a side of Edamame with Chili Garlic. Loved it all! The Tom Yam soup however came with mushrooms, and on my request, I was served another bowl without mushrooms in it.
This isn’t a comprehensive review, because I was quite fascinated by the food here. I do believe it will take another visit to elaborate. The decor is very pleasing, with oriental touches that don’t go overboard. The service is very efficient.
The review will grow longer with my next visit, which I’m sure will happen soon!

Super amazing place for a breakfast on weekends! Asian vibe! I visited this one on a sunday morning through an Easydiner event, ordered avacado toast, okonomiyaki, coffee, salmonbenedict, peach iced tea! Everything was perfect. This is going to be my go-to place for a breakfast thats for sure!
Came here for breakfast today. Infantry road has finally one great place to chill out with friends and family for lazy Sunday breakfast. Place is cozy and one of the best breakfast menu in Bangalore. Special mention to their fruity waffle, charcoal pancakes, avacado toast, son in law eggs octopus takoyaki is must try. If you are coffee person then pls do not miss there brew and if you are looking for something to chill you in this summer then do try their lemon ice or cocktails are must try special mention to day breeze. Visited 1Q1 for the sunday breakfast for the first time . The place has a beautiful relaxing ambience , perfect for a laid back sunday brunch .
I loved almost everything that we tried , a special mention to their asian additions like takoyaki , surprisingly good for having tried octopus for the very first time , melted in my mouth .
The regulars did not dissapoint either , including fruity waffles , an amazing strawberry smoothie , and the best nutella smoothie i have had so far !

Service 5/5 - Before I start writing about the food , I would like to call out the exceptional service of Adi who surprised us with complementary dessert ! Food - it took a while to get the food on table , but it was worth it . We ordered a mushroom n trufle oil dimsum, veg platter , tofu n mushroom in Japanese sauce , veg tempura sushi to start our afternoon which is we mqde to perfection. For me the highlight was the mains - pan fried Thai noodles with vegetables in yellow bean sauce ! The icing of the cake was cheesecake with sour cherry coulis... it was the best cheesecake we had on bangalore
1Q1 used to have amazing 'Chasue Ramen' I used to visit for this menu but i Got to know it has removed from the menu... :'( ... though other menu is also good but i want the chasue ramen back in the menulist !!
It was as Monday evening when we visited and there was a DJ nite. Very lively place with lot of teenagers dancing the night away.
We ordered Tostadas, Vegetable Robotayaki, Spinach n corn dim sum followed by Thai green curry served with jasmine rice. Japanese Cheesecake with sorbet was the perfect end to the meal.
Food was flavourful and service was attentive.
We’ll definitely visit again to try the other items on the menu:)

Not exactly a fan of Pan Asian cuisine but sometimes a fan of sushi. They have considerably more vegan sushi options on the menu when compared to other sushi bars. However, the taste wasn’t too impressive. Their desserts however take the limelight and are definitely worth trying if you are a dessert kinda person.

1q1 is a great space... So well designed , lofty with a variety of seating. They have fabulous bento boxes and also great food. We tried a bit of everything, the dumplings, sushi, rolls and grills and everything was fabulous. Their garlic roasted edmame and truffle dumplings are the best. They have an interesting Peruvian - Japanese section too. We tried the toastadas there and there were fresh, crisp and full of flavour. I am waiting to go back and try more food, it is always great when a restaurant has an extensive menu and nothing disappoints. The service in general was good too. The only drawback was that our waiter didn't know the menu, we asked him to recommend a non spicy sauce for our robatayaki as we had ordered grilled chillies, and it went the other way... Burning tongues and watering eyes followed. The sake based sauce was great with the rest, but if we had known it was spicy we wouldn't have ordered the chillies. We ordered a choco bar for dessert, which promised to be some sort of deconstructed platter with salted caramel ice cream but wasn't that great. I would try the desserts with caution.
It’s a great place, love the ambience- green walls, high ceiling, arches, b&w tiles etc., the food is good too. Love their prawn & chive dumplings, Thai green curry is outstanding. The desserts need improvement. We had a nasty experience with the hostess- we booked a table at this place in advance, they never mentioned an event happening at that time. We landed at the restaurant and it was extremely noisy. When I complained to the hostess she asked us to find another restaurant!!! When I complained to the manager he stepped in and moved the event outdoors.

The interiors were amazing. The decor is delightful. A fun place for a night to dance the night away. The mock tails served were pleasing too. An open space for a smoking zone would be more appreciated
1Q1 is an uptown restaurants located in an almost the centre of the city. It's got a great ambience, good food and some house rules one had to play by.
Food- 4/5. While they hit the mark with the taste, flavours and variety on the menu, they quite miss out on the portions.
Staff- 4/5. Courteous, knowledgeable and very presentable. The staff know their menu and make the right suggestions basis the customer's requirements.
Ambience- 4/5. The decor is great and so is the architecture. The restaurant has been designed to amplify the vintage look of the building.
Overall, do definately recommend this restaurant for those looking to celebrate a special occasion or anyone who wants to taste some authentic Asian food in and around Cunningham road.
Went for the christmas brunch and it was ecstatic. Beautiful theme. Great exotic buffet coupled with drinks and to add to it they had a live coir singing some old melodious songs.

1Q1 was in my list from a long time and when we came to know about VKP we found a reason to party @ 1Q1💃
The place is big enough with a lovely disco ball and a kind of dance floor. A beautiful ambiance yet simple pub decor is the first impression of 1Q1.
The pub was buzzing with great crowd and party vibe.
We choose to stand at the bar counter as our main motto was to have a drink and get on to the dance floor.
Though the bar counter was crowded the server was proactive and took our order quickly.
We had a couple of LIIT's 🍹which was made good, French 75🍷🍸 one of the best cocktails with sparkling wine and couple of shots.
For starters we had Thai vegetable spring rolls with sweet garlic chilli sauce, Spinach and corn 🌽 dumplings and Broccoli and baby 🌽 corn in Nam Prik Pao.
All the 3 starters were great with flavours bursting in mouth. Personal favorite was veg spring roll. The veggies tasted fresh with perfect spice. The service was quick but a smile on their faces would have added to our good mood.
The music played by the DJ was mediocre. However we had a great time and would definitely recommend 1Q1 to my fellow reviewers😍
Finally this is off my bucket list.
Ambience was good. We had ordered Crab stick California roll and rainbow roll Sushi but it was not up to the expectations. Their mocktails are the best, Yuzu N grape (recommended). Also we had Pad krapow gai with egg and rice which was the best.
Coming to dessert Avocado Parfait with Gooey brownie squares and Matcha Soil (highly recommended) is must try.
Overall a great place to dine.
1Q1 had been on my must visit places for awhile. Headed out on a scorching Saturday afternoon finally and was instantly glad that I came here. The food, the drinks, everything was smashing. We ordered the salmon sashimi, the maki rolls, dumplings and matcha tea dessert. I was absolutely in love with my cucumber and elderflower drink. The place is for discerning eaters and if you want to hog, I’d not recommend this. However, if you want to spend great time accompanied with great food and drinks, definitely head out to 1Q1. This was our Vday dinner spot and must say I’m impressed! It was a love at first sight - from the service, to decor, menu, ambience and overall vibe everything felt 10/10! They have a massive menu and quite a creative one too! We two could only savour a couple of dishes and definitely would visit back to try some more. Special mention to their fusion Peruvian/Japanese menu, never seen that anywhere in Bangalore before. Also their range of items be it starters or mains or deserts ! My recommendations would be to try the Peking Duck and definitely some of the fusion Peruvian dishes. We also enjoyed the cocktails , especially the Valentine’s Day special ones. Special mention to their Whiskey Sours, there were quite a few and we enjoyed all of them! The dessert was amazing and fresh and something new again! It was a Japanese cum Peruvian style cheesecake with raspberry sorbet! I loved it! Quite unlike the fluffy Japanese Cheesecakes we are used to. Overall a big 5/5 and hope to explore this place more !

Umm.. what do i say. You can't really find fault with this place. Everything is ok. The restaurant tries hard to be high end, "fine dine". But it just didn't hit the spot for me.
The ambience is nice enough, though nothing as colourful as the photos seem to suggest. Maybe that section wasn't open when we went. Well laid out, spacious. The lighting was a tad too low. There's a level below which sophistication shifts to dingy. Dangerously close to that borderline. The ambience could do with a bit more zest.
Service was excellent. Smiling and efficient.
On food, the white fish Tiradito was really the star of the evening for me. That's the only dish that stood out. The broccoli and water chestnut dimsums and the yakisoba noodles, desserts etc were pretty much std quality that you can get in any good pan Asian restaurant. The beef bibimbap was a let down as it lacked the earthiness that comes from serving it in a hot dolsot with a little bit of searing on the bottom that imparts flavour. The gochujang sauce was decent though.
Food is priced reasonably, but alchohol pricing is way over the top. It shifts the entire bill into a "not value" mode.
Still rating it a 4, as overall it was a good experience. But would I be a repeat customer? Unlikely. And i suspect that would be true of a lot of diners. "Let's try it" vs loyalty is likely to be a challenge.
This was an absolutely incredible experience. I had taken my parents and my in laws and for the first time they tried sushi, you wouldn't believe how thrilled they were on tasting them. From the service to the ambience and of course the food, was just what was needed for an awesome family lunch.
I visited this restaurant recently to try the newly launched Sunday breakfast menu. First things first, the location of this kitchen n bar is iconic. It's literally 1 Queens Road, hence the name. Secondly, the menu for Sunday breakfast was quite exotic I must say. With Octopus Takoyaki, activated charcoal Pancakes and Vietnamese Pho (veg and non veg versions), i had a difficult time choosing what to order and what to leave. All these items we ordered and simply loved. The flavors hit the right palette. Simply outstanding. If that's not enough, they even have breakfast cocktails, the one I liked was the gin and pomegranate one. Also, the Avocado smoothie with oats will be the perfect starter for the breakfast I say 🙂 it was simply a winner for me. Totally recommend dropping here for a lazy Sunday breakfast. You won't regret.
Delicious Japanese food right in the heart of Bangalore. We tried Gyoza, Sushi, Sushi Roll and Cheese cake from food and a couple of cocktails.
The ambience and seating area is great and to the point. Does make you feel like wow! The service was fast and prompt.
Salmon sushi was the best dish we had.
Definitely going back here soon.
1Q1 is an uptown restaurants located in an almost the centre of the city. It's got a great ambience, good food and some house rules one had to play by.
Food- 4/5. While they hit the mark with the taste, flavours and variety on the menu, they quite miss out on the portions.
Staff- 4/5. Courteous, knowledgeable and very presentable. The staff know their menu and make the right suggestions basis the customer's requirements.
Ambience- 4/5. The decor is great and so is the architecture. The restaurant has been designed to amplify the vintage look of the building.
Overall, do definately recommend this restaurant for those looking to celebrate a special occasion or anyone who wants to taste some authentic Asian food in and around Cunningham road.

Requires prior table reservations on weekends and the guys are little tough if you do not have a reservation.
The food did not meet my expectations, though it's wrong to have expectations, c'mon man, it wasn't good enough for the price, both the quantity and the taste. Nothing exquisite about it.
But the beers were good. The crowd is a wonderful bunch that come there for the night, it's always a delight to be amidst such crowd.
Best place for a classy weekend party with music dance and drinks.
I suppose they do also host private parties or dinners along a side of the hall.

There was an Asian Food Fest going in here when i went in on an evening earlier this week and I believe its still there till Dec 2nd. Good options with stations being setup at the entrance in the open and offering Asian delicacies Bao's, Takoyaki, Mee Goreng, Rice paper Rolls and a lot of Grill appetizers. Great food overall and definite street food vibes ! Pricing and service is good and worth it. Valet parking is available.
Located in the queen's building in lavelle Road, this place has an ambience that serves to any kind of occasion. Be it a party or a open terrace or a bar, this place has all of them. We went on a Sunday eve and opted for a Chinese New year menu. The dimsums were just OK. Liked the honey chicken. Tofu was just average but surely liked the vegetables. The drinks were decent and so was the main course. We had a couple of drinks one called the Chinese drink. It was a good mix. The chocolate mouse dessert was really good too. Wow. What a pleasant surprise this place was 😊 so let's start with the location. Finally a great place to eat and drink in a part of Bangalore that's not as famous as 100 feet road. The ambience was extraordinary. And the food didn't disappoint us at all. The menu is extensive and I especially loved the blueberry mocktails and the California rolls. My friend had the bowl of beef and rice with sauce which she definitely loved. Our desserts were delicious as well. All in all a wonderful experience. 4.2 out of 5
Great Place, they have multiple events throughout the day almost everyday of the week. They also have great food, one must try the prawn tempura sushi. It is ideal for any type event, a casual brunch or a Saturday night out.

Why 4: The Thai curry is delicious, velvety flavor. Apart from this coconut, herbs and milk is perfectly mixed up with the curry? Yes, it is perfectly mixed. Papaya Salad, Stir-fried vegetables gelled up well with the bento box. The veg green curry with Jasmine rice and tom Kha soup is quite delicious. Overall its is Thai dish so they used Thai Veg Spring Roll mixed with veggies tastes spicy(Indeed In love spicy a bit)

Why 5: The staff is helpful and friendly. I loved their Welcome style the most. The ambiance is totally different from other cafe and restaurants. Obviously it is Kitchen and Bar, they managed well I must say. You can click many snaps over here, but it is too pricey. Once in a month, anyone can plan a perfect brunch with their loved once.

The place lands up at the best location in the city. The building is old school, so one would be thrilled with those super super high ceilings! incredibly well done interiors, with lots of lines playing the entire space and a rich grunge pallate of colours. Cutlery, too is unbelievably gorgeous! So 5 stars for the place's looks, vibes and feels! Another amazing factor to this Japanese food place is it has a really good looking bar and did I forget to mention they serve alcohol too!
But, I'm not sure if the food left me very happy. I ordered a sushi roll and grilled vegetables. Both were utterly disappointing. Though the Christmas pudding was delicious. The chef came in and did say he would personally look into our order the next time. That was nice. Hoping for a better experience next time on food. Though, I would surely visit again!
