The staff is extremely courteous and helpful and even funny. I tried practically everything and it was all great!! Especially all the main Indian dishes. Definitely worth the visit.

An in-house restaurant of the Sarovar premiere group of hotels, this is a fine dining place. Opulent decor with chandeliers and curtain hangings give a royal look to the place. Soft, melodious music sets the mood for a leisurely dinner. There is an entire wall studded with choice wine bottles which adds a unique beauty to the interiors.
Comfortable seating is available and we were early so procured a side table with the television set showing the cricket match of the day. Attentive servers and a quick service added to the value of the meal.
We ordered-
Tomato soup- A rich soup with the real taste and flavour of juicy tomatoes. A hearty soup which will definitely fire up your appetite.
Tom yum soup- A tangy, quite spicy soup with veggies. Didn’t appeal to my palate as it was too tangy.
Bharwan paneer - It was one of the dishes of the day. Soft, succulent paneer lightly grilled and filled with a slightly sweet dry fruit paste. A rich, delicious starter perfectly complimented by the tangy onions and a green chutney.
Lee fu crispy vegetables- An assortment of vegetables fried crisp and sautéed in a spicy coriander sauce. Quite enjoyable.
Shaam savera- Again the paneer was excellent. The koftas were a mix of paneer and spinach dunked in a rich tomato gravy.
Kadai Veg in a pepper sauce- Slightly on the spicier side, this was a good side dish with the rotis complimenting the rich Shaam savera gravy.
Rasmalai - A rich dessert with a generously sized rasmalai floating in a thick, saffron flavoured milk reduction. My little boy absolutely loved it.

Had come here with my family. Had an excellent lunch - North Indian ala carte. Tomato Dhaniya shorba with Paneer Tikka starter was just perfect to begin with. Indian breads - Roti and Kulcha were great too...

This place is high on decor and ambience and is a really stylish Fine Dine. The fact that it is situated in a great location, Jayanagar, is a bonus. We went here on a weekday and therefore did not need any reservations and got our table immediately. The waiters were attentive and the service was good. We ordered very basic food and everything we ordered was good. The manchow soup was excellent and we liked it so much. The hara bhara kebabs were nicely fried and tasty too. In main course what we ordered was a Indian Bread Basket, Kadai vegetable and Veg Biryani. We liked the gravy and the Biryani. The taste was very well balanced and had good mix of vegetables. However, at Rs.400/- the Bread Basket was a huge disappointment. So we were told that it will have 5 different types of breads. When we got the Basket what we noted is none of the rotis are buttered. And they just had served two plain rotis, 1 aloo paratha, 1 plain naan and get this right 1 tuttifrooti roti. It was just ridiculous to see this and not to mention, the sizes of these were really small. What they should do instead is check with us and customise the Basket. Although, the overall experience was good, the prices are a tad bit high and don't justify the portions. It seems like we are charged for the exuberant interiors and decor which not really fair. I do recommend this place if you are looking for a nice fine fine in the Jayanagar area.

A very relaxed afternoon on Sunday, visited the place. The food is entirely very much heavenly.
Though the restaurant been there for i guess 7 years now, but the Chefs craftsmanship is thoroughly remarkable.
Their Indian food from Tandoor offerings to main courses and not to forget Litchi Rasgulla all stands out.
Very well kept overall property. Beautiful rooms with all modern amenities.

Few things I’ve noticed are that the alcohol is served in different shapes and sizes of glasses for everybody... as in the vodka was served in normal bar glasses...
a glass for drinking water wasn’t served..
there was no light music until asked for..
there was no free wifi available...
and the ambience was is good for a quiet gathering..

Recently we used this restaurant for my son's 1st birthday. We were total 20 people. We went for
Al Carte. Since we didn't wanted to waste our time so we placed order in advance . The quality of food was really good and every one appreciated it. The service was equally exceptional. All food was served as it was being discussed with Restaurant Manager.
Last week me and my wife came to golden Oak restaurant.since we were vegetarian so we were looking for pure vegetarian restaurant in Jaynagar.we opted for this restaurant as I was being suggested by my brother in-law.The best part of this restaurant is that they have got separate veg and non veg kitchen.we ordered for papadi chaat,tomato dhaniya shorba,golden Oak veg platter,and few veg curries.All the dishes were mouth watering.staff at the restaurant are well trained and courteous.will highly recommend this place to my friends and other family members.
Recently me and my friends visited la marvella hotel, golden oak restaurant.The waiter suggested us for Tiger grilled prawn sizzler and non veg sizzler.Its was really beyond our expectation.The staff at the restaurant were very professional and courteous.we will definately use this restaurant on special occassion and reccomend to other colleague.
It has great food.... Little expensive but worth the money... Non veg is delicious.... Veg is just fine.... When they had buffets it was really good.... Desserts are just icing on the cake.... Yummy...I would recommend u guys to go and check this place.... They have good decor nd courteous staff too.... Once my dad forgot to get my birthday cake and these people arranged a delicious raspberrycake.... Also when my dad had bought his new car the valet parking guys had clashed with some other vehicle and they fixed the car and invited our family to the hotel on my dads birthday and have him a cake and gave us their best/special dishes without charging them in the end.... Great experiences ...!!!
I have been this place with my family and friends. Nice place nice ambience and great food. Well trained staffs very courtesy and friendly. This evening I happened to drop in there and want try some quick bites, I was suggested some yummy snacks and delivered so quickly, 2 variety of chicken and a fish, it was so yummy and juicy, I would definitely say to try and enjoy it yourself. I will visit this place again and again for more refreshing dishes. A special appreciation to the cooking team and the service team.

They know how to satisfy their customers. I had requested them for a surprise party for my mother on her birthday July 9, 2017. and they had it all, arranged yummy cake and treated us until 12 am with a friendly gestures. They serve a great spread for the buffet breakfast. It is an English and Indian buffet spread with Indian dishes and breads n muffins along with cereals and fruits become a great n sumptuous weekend breakfast/brunch. The ambience and service is really good. The croissants and muffins can be more fresh and softer.

Had been here with my colleagues for a noon party, While I was checking their menu on unlimited buffet lunch thought this is the place to try and bookmarked right away. We had a mixed feeling post lunch though the items are large in numbers but only 3 items tasted good in average both in the vegetarian and non-veg menu. Because the proportion of starters and the main course is not regulated. The cutlery's were scratched heavily and services were lagging, though there was no big crowd. The restaurant looks fancy in the perspective of measure but not in quality, It's quite overpriced than parallel restaurant chains which have the same kind of menu. The ambiance is good in here and the bar setup goes with the environment that made me feel happy.
Had been for a dinner party. The interiors are like a old mahal. Very nice ambience. The hotel is at the roof too and you can also see the metro traib line as well. The food is average. But I would say that the size of the tandoori roti is quite small compared to the price. So you have to order more if are ordering one. The service is good not disappointing. Good food I must say. Starters, main course we're quite tasty specially the Paneer and the veg kebab. Main course was Biriyani, paneer Kadai style, daal makhni, plain rice, sambhar, curd rice and alloo mutter and all tasted so well. The Ras Malai could have been better as it was too much of watery and not really thick malai types. The rates are fine too.

Visited the Golden oak on friday evening. The primary reason for choosing this was because our office had a visitor from US and this place was hygienic for us to make him try Indian food and i had a very positive experience from a banquet party i got to attend recently.
In non veg - Liked the chicken biryani,grilled fish. The tandoor was well cooked but lacked spices. .
In veg - the tandoor paneer was good. The chats were decent (compared to the one we eat on the street).
In drinks - they serve blue lagoon as welcome drink which was refreshing.drinks were quick & the staff was attentive.
The main course had a lot of things but I only took the biriyani and curd rice.
The one thing I absolutely loved were the desserts . Too many choices from local cuisines.
Overall, this place is not expensive which I think is expected considering it a five star and food quality is also good per that standards. the best thing about the place is its service & the staffs.
We came with my family of 15 + 4 kids in all the experience was really great. We had a wonderful time. Ambience was brilliant. Nice set of staff who made the experience better. Food was excellent. I would definitely return and refer more people....

Golden Oak is always a good choice for lunch &Dinner. We have had a lot of farewell and birthday treats here and they always have some offer which makes it economical for large groups. I especially like the room that (pdr)they have which seats about 10 to15 pax room. The service has always been prompt(had a chit chat with nirmal,he is a very friendly and very attentive and the food is good.
We had a team lunch here. The location is very convenient as it's closer to metro station. The food was excellent. We had a la carte. Valet parking is available.
