A decent try if you are looking for eatery option when you are in and around Jayanagar!
Udupi style sambar is the major highlight on this platter.
Ambience and service from staff is pretty decent.
Best place to drop by for breakfast and quick snacks in the evening. They also have a separate dining area. The filtered coffee here is amazing. The service time is quite fast. Suitable for family outings.
Its a good restaurant in nearby areas. It's food is really tasty. But it is somewhat costly. You can try any paneer item over there. They are really good.
Very spacious and well located restaurant... pure veg . There is ground floor and first floor AC sitting section too... very clean place ... I’ve had their Idli sambhar chutney.. very tasty... 24₹.. masala puri was very delicious. The guy at the chats counter was so kind enough to give me extra peas on request . And yes please don’t leave the restaurant without having their excellent fresh coffee !

The place is noisy but good. Limited seating , best take-away. The parcel also is good in quantity.
For the money we pay it is best to take-away as more quantity is present. Good food but the service is a little late as they do everything for the seated people inside and the give to us.

We had been here for breakfast. The vada sambar dip is just amazing.
Dishes:
Vada dipped in sambar.: The sambar tastes amazing, to be eaten soon so that the vada doesn't become soggy with sambar.
Onion dosa: good
Rava onion masala dosa: felt it wasn't fully cooked in few parts of the dosa.
Open butter masala dosa: good.
Coffee: perfect beverage after breakfast.
Must try rava idli with sagu. Masala puri one of the best in banglore. Even the north indian food is good. They serve even jain food tasty yummy

One of the best sambhar I have ever tasted.
Coffee is also too good.
One thing I want to mention here is service is really good. If you ask for any modification in fixed dish they will do it with smile and when my wife asked one of serving person replied, “mam, this is your’s only, we will give you as per your like”.
No wonder why this place is always crowded. One of the good places for South Indian dishes. They have both Dharshini as well as service hall. They have North Indian for lunch and dinner. Options are pretty good. Very good food and reasonable.

Good place to visit with family, I have visited this place with my wife, Nice quality North indian thali and south indian meals. Price is very worth.
Good food,quick service,good amnience what else do you need in a restaurant. I really like the food over her I took a panner manchurian,mushroom 65 and a baby corn pepper dry and Malawi kofta with butter kulcha and a lime soda everything tasted really good and I liked it a lot.this is a good place to visit with your family.
But the only problem is it is tough to get parking, I would definetly recommend this place
I have visited to this restaurant on multiple occasions with family and friends. Not once have I ever heard anyone amongst my peers complain about the quality of the food served. This place has all the North Indian and South Indian dishes at very affordable price. Plus the quantity provided totally satisfies your wallet and your tummy. It's a spacious enough to cater to the Self-Service and Ala Carte at the same time. The staff is very friendly.
When you're on a budget this place is perfect to satisfy your monthly cravings.
Gr8 taste....Gr8 quantity....yes....the portion of Biryani n Rice fills the hunger of already 2 people. Also an amazing place to dine-out in their restaurant

This is located near National College, Jayanagar on a busy street, which makes it rather difficult to find car parking space, especially if you are going on weekends.
There are 2 sections, the self service Darshini style and the AC Restaurant.
We usually go to the AC restaurant.
We have been to this joint a couple of times, but every time we were attracted to the ambience and friendly staff.
This is a purely vegetarian restaurant which serves South Indian as well as North India spread.
On weekends they do not serve Thalis but otherwise the dishes are tasty and colorful.
The quality and quantity truly justifies the price of the dish.
We had tomato and Mancow soup with masala papad. We were a tad disappointed with masala papad.
We had Spanish rolls basically spinach rolls, baby corn manchuri and panneer ghee fry which had a bit of gravy and that surprised us. But all tasted good.
We ordered a mixed bag of bread like rotis, naans, kultchas, etc which were served hot.
The stuffed capsicum khofta, and panneer butter masala were very tasty.
The fresh biriyani was a disappointment but can understand its very difficult for authentic stuff.
The curd rice closed up our dine out for the day.
Everyone was fully satisfied with the food.
Family visit (15 ppl). We were given dining hall. Staff has respectful and courteous. Good food, not too pricy. Serving was done very well. Need to find own parking on the opposite side of road or near by roads. Walkable from Jayanagar metro station.
If u stay in Jayanagar and you want to visit a good place for dinner whether you want to have North Indian , South Indian , chats or just pav bhaji, I would blindly suggest you rajathadri . They got good food to satisfy ur hunger . No doubt you can take ur friends or family too . They have two sections . A section for self service and if you’re lucky u can get a table to sit too or otherwise it doesn’t harm to stand at a food table and just eat . They also have service hall . But sometimes you might need to wait .

This is in Jayanagar, the usual go-to place for us Banashankarians :) . Needless to say, there have been umpteen visits to this place. This review is a summary of all my visits, not just the latest one.
Strategically located with wide roads perpendicular to the restaurant, it gets so crowded during weekends that finding a parking spot closer to the restaurant is almost impossible.
The restaurant has a decent decor (nothing fancy) with a self service section (with a few small tables that can seat 15-20 people) and a service section. There’s also a party hall that people can rent for functions.
Now the food:
My favourites:
1) Kharabhath: The cashew nut infused lovely kharabhath makes me drool even as I type this one.
2. Set Dosa/Sagu: The soft and fluffy set dosas along with the chutney and sagu are the show stoppers among South Indian snacks here.
3. North Indian Meals: This was best VFM, with a tasty soup, 3 curries, rotis/kulcha, dal, fried rice/pulao,curd,sweet,papad and pickle.
What I didn’t like:
Paneer Manchurian: please stop abusing soy sauce to give your manchurian that dark color...you should realise it gives it sourness too!
Overall, a nice place to go along with the family for a tasty meal/snack or coffee , any time of the day :)
Recommended for South and north Indian dishes.
It’s a typical Chinese South Indian Restaurant. The food is good and tasty. They also serve good chaats. It’s a family restaurant. They have both self service and a la carte.
But the place is pretty crowded and has a little noisy environment. The prices are reasonable and pocket friendly.
Button idly is my choice from the outlet. Combination of button idlies dipped in sambar with ghee topping is something which should not be missed.
The problem with places like this is that everytime the food tastes different.
Had parcelled palak Alu last time and it was the most tastiest veg dish ever. And when I tried palak mushroom last week, I was breathing fire. And they do not know how to do Mangalore bajji. What they serve is a insult to the original dish 😑
On the whole, good place for family to sit and enjoy a relaxed time. Ambience is good. Try the palak marsala dosa.....its yummy
A good place to eat in Jayanagar. Very spacious and has varieties of both north and South Indian dishes. Authentic chats by Karnataka behl house makes the place even more interesting. Lively staff who are very friendly with kids. Good for both a quick bite and also a causal long sit down time with family.
Must visit if you are hanging out near Banashankari or Jayanagar 4th block. Choice of both south and north Indian dishes and fast food are really good. The restaurant is well maintained and Best place for family hangouts whether it's for breakfast, lunch or dinner
We ordered soup, manchurian, roti, kulcha, veg pulav. All of them treated very delicious!

I go here often for a quick bite or for a cup of coffee. I really liked their variety of dosas. They are a must try! They have both self service and AC service hall. The ambience is not too bad, however, it does get crowded during lunch times.

This restaurant is a well known hot spot for families & groups in Basavanagudi or South Bangalore. Place is crowded in the evenings especially the service area, there's a self service area in the Ground floor available for a quick bite or coffee/tea.
Visited for Dinner & the 1st floor A/C service hall was almost full with families. Place gets too noisy with it's full capacity & can be disturbing if you are preferring a quite evening with your family/partner.

Rajathadri Food fort is located in Jayanagar. The place has both self service and ac service hall. The ambiance is of a typical cafe with few tables to sit and enjoy the food. It was a bit hot inside the restaurant as it had too much steam for food preparation.
We tried the Idly with Sambar. The taste was good. The Kesari Bath was sweet with dry fruits. The taste was delicious. The Butter Masala Dosa had loads of butter. The masala was amazing in taste.
