I can’t begin to explain how amazing the food was... I’m so impressed that they accepted walk in’s even when they were officially opening tomorrow. And the food, ambience, service and experience literally wowed us. Amazing variety of panipuris, dahi kabab, biryani and the Desert is to die for!! Wud recommend it 100% and keep the amazing quality always.
It’s a rocking place for some amazing Indian food. Both traditional as well as some dishes with a twist, the ambience is par excellent. Bangalore really needed a kitchen like this for all us foodies
Fantastic food! Beautiful ambience and Such innovation in terms of presentation and a clever mix in the menu esp the desserts !!Our Dinner was an absolute pleasure...keep it up guys !

Very friendly staff. The fusion Indian food has a different vibe a very nice place for people who want to try something new while having that Indian touch to it.
Perfect place for a corporate or formal dinner. This place can be a really great party location.
I liked the ambience, food and the service.
My recommendations are the pani puri and dahi kababe.
Great food! Really enjoyed the butter chicken, which is quite rare in Bangalore. Kid friendly space, and service was also quite prompt. We went on a rainy evening and the ambience was perfect!
Menu isn’t exclusively different but most definitely yum with lovely ambience this aspect is authentic to the place .Try the curry leaf chilli chicken
I always love apetizers more than than the main course as they are usually unique, innovative, and since they are smaller plates, we can try different stuff. Rocksalt is perfect for someone like me because they have an extensive apetizer menu with quite a few very unique items like chicken tikka pani puri and liquid nitrogen cooled dahi vada. However, I did feel that the chicken tikka didn't really go well with rest of the ingredients in paani puri. Our favorite dishes were the lamb tacos and the crispy Bhendi chaat.
We also reserved some of our apetite for the main course which was the methi paneer roll with naan. The methi paneer roll was quite good but a bit too creamy and sweet for my liking, but the naan was one of the best I have ever had.
On our next visits, I hope the Rocksalt chefs keep surprising us with more unique apetizer selections!!!
A nice place for large party groups. Good ambience and they have basement parking.
Food is quirky but portions are small. The biriyani is outstanding. Drinks were excellent.
What surprised me is that while it has everything going for it on ambience, service and food, other than we as a boisterous 14 member group and two smaller ones most of the place was empty....that too on a Saturday night.
Deserves a lot more patronage
One of the best North Indian fare in bangalore .
Butter chicken and daal makhani are brilliant. Other stuff is also good - but then I am a delhite :) - My go to place when butter chicken and daal cravings strike! Do give it a try!

Chaat . Nashta . Chai . Cocktails - All the things we love curated in one menu @rocksaltblr ! 😍🤗.
.
You should head here as well for some good grub . We went here on a late Saturday afternoon and stayed till sunset .
Why go out only for lunch or dinner when u can go in between rush hour and have a good time 😉 .
For us Anytime is good time for #chaat #chai #cocktails 😋
Loved the decor as well . Bookmarking it for future revisits for sure . I am sure this place makes for a nice dinner date as well . Has a romantic charm to it .
Must Try :
Drinks : Elder Flower Collins , Mango Tonic , Mango Lassi
Food : kurkuri Bhindi Chaat - The best from what we tried but don't have a picture , was more eager to eat 😋
Karwar Style Rava Prawns
Cheese stuffed beetroot cutlet
Paneer Tikka ( More like Ghee Roast )
In fact everything was well made !!
.
.
Ambience /Decor : very modern Indian . Very impressive .
Large double height space , with semi open areas and Greenery
Thank God for the mist fans it works perfectly for the summer times .
.
Over all : Top Notch food , Lovely ambience. A good mix of everything nice here .
Excellent concept and nice place. Open air and perfect for Bangalore weather. While all the dishes are mouth watering, the dahi kebab, baked samosa, chicken roll are must try in starters and baked yogurt is absolutely brilliant for finishing the meal.
The staff is very coordial, anticipates the needs and service is fast and very good!
Absolutely recommended.
Excellent main course and starters! Superb service and ambience...desserts need to be improved big time though. Ordered the cheese cake which was a disappointing way to end an otherwise great meal.
This is a proper dinner place. Not too loud music. Perfect for having some conversations. Food was very mediocre. Service was good. Staffs were kind and attentive.
Wonderful place. Awesome food. Great ambience. The staff is super friendly. Our regular service boy Vijay Alkur takes very good care whenever we visit.

Rocksalt is an elegant space with ample green touch, good for all timings. Went there last Saturday during late afternoon hours. The place is fairly large and spacious, had a large bar counter dispensing fine Cocktails, seating all couch and cushion base based, and a mist fan to help during hot Bangalore afternoons.
I tried the chaat nashta chai menu that they serve during these late afternoon hours.
Loved the elderflower Collins Cocktail, one of the rare Cocktails that has nil sugar but great essence and flavor of elder flower and gin.
The mango tonic Cocktail was another of my favorites, with evident langda mango flavor.
Coming to the food, I fell in love with the cheese beetroot cutlets, served with pumpkin carrot dip. The texture was good, crumby crispy outside and soft melting in mouth on the inside. The spice level was well balanced.
The kachori chaat was baked, a little bland for my taste buds, the filling was not much flavorful, but the chaat sauces well all well prepared and fresh.
Curry leaf chilli chicken was a total delight. It was like ghee roast without ghee, has to be. Had the green hue and was totally lip-smacking.
Tandoori roasted chicken was also done well, had evident tandoor touch and tender.
The paniyaram had little filling and wasnt much on spice level .
The mango lassi was heavenly, must try.
The Rocksalt Jalebi was regular jalebi in rabri espuma and almond crumble. Was aptly sweet. The blueberry cheesecake however was phenomenal.
Service is splendid, the staff looked well trained and groomed, helped us throughout our meal and made us finish without any complaints.
This place is absolutely beautiful, had been on my wishlist since a long time but could never make it. Finally, I happened to visit this place for checking out their Chaat, Nashta, Chai and Cocktails menu which is more like the Indian style High tea menu with some brilliant summer cocktails.
We were a group of 10 people and with the temperatures soaring high everyday in Bangalore, we ordered our drinks first. I vouched for a Mango Tonic which was a concoction of tanqueray, mango, lemon, star anise and honey topped with Tonic water and thoroughly enjoyed it! The Elderflower Collins was yet another favorite, refreshing with the concoction of tanqueray, lemon, Elderflower cordial and some club soda. We started off with the RockSalt signature panipuri, we tried both the veg and non-veg variants, the paneer Tikka and the chicken Tikka ones with butter milk were so good! Next, we had the Baked kachori chat which completely won me over. Those mini kachoris were so good! The kurkuri Bhindi Chaat was equally good. We tried some stuffed paniyarams with beetroot chutney and the beetroot and cheese cutlets, those cutlets were brilliant, I must say. With the adequate amount of cheese and the carrot and pumpkin dip to go along with it, it was something I can vouch for again. The Tandoori chicken Chaat was quite average, but loved the Paneer pepper dry! Never thought that I would enjoy so much veg food in a day! The Curry leaf chilli chicken was quite an unusual take on the chilli chicken and was quite good.
Well, after all the Chaat and nashta, we could not resist going bananas over the mango lassi, and we relished it! The sweet tooth in me could not resist but dig into the beautifully presented RockSalt Jalebi with Rabri Espuma and almond crumble. So good!
Overall, it was a beautiful experience and we enjoyed our time catching up over Chaat, nashta, Chai and Cocktails! Definitely heading back soon to check the place over lunch or dinner!
Cheers!

First up, the place is Beautiful! Whether you want a cozy seating or a more relaxed one, they have it all. We were a group of about 10 people who went to check out the Chaat, Nashta, Chai and Cocktail menu. The idea is pretty great and they do have some very interesting options to offer. Lots of Vegetarian food being the highlight.😊
A few of us ordered the Mango Tonic, very good to beat the heat and who doesn't love mangoes? This was one of the Summer Gin Cocktails. They have good variety of Pani Puri to offer. Paneer/Chicken in Pani Puri is surely an experiment and a good one indeed!
Next up was the Kurkuri Bhindi Chaat, I had another helping of this. It was so so good! Must try here. The Mini Baked Kachoris were rather good, rightly balanced and good to complement the drink.
Another round of drinks happened and I tried the New Clover Club this time, So refreshing and very Beautifully represented. Paired this with the Cheese Stuffed Beetroot Cutlet. Cheese and Beetroot was a new combination and a splendid one. Really enjoyed this.
If you're a Lassi fan, try the Mango Lassi. It is yummy! (yeah we all had Lassi after cocktails 🙆)
Finished with some Rabri and Jalebi, the classic combination that never ceases to amaze.
Cheers!

Excellent service, great food
Rajkiran’s suggestions with food are on the mark. Grand cosmos and Laal Maas with Appam really good. Thanks a lot.
A fusion of traditional and contemporary with fine nuances to induce exceptional flavours, textures and presentation .
A modern and elegant setup, one side overlooking the greenery, it gives you a feel of composed dining space.
FOOD 🥘🍛🥙
Started off with Dahi ke kebab... soft , melt in the mouth served with this delicious carrot coriander chutney.
If this was a depiction of subtle texture then next came banana blossom cutlet... crusty exterior and delicious filling of banana flower served with tomato chutney. The appropriate pairing of coulis with the dishes, gelled together to give a perfect melancholy of flavours on the palate and also applauds chef’s expertise.
Smoked naan pizza was the Indian take on the Italian and did every bit justice to the latter.
Baked samosa had a delicate crust served with yoghurt and chutney foam giving a fancy twist but somehow did not please much.
It was such an overwhelming treat with the starters that I chose to go light on the main course. Sindhi sai bhaji had a homely feel; paired with garlic naan. Appreciate the texture of naan which was not stretchy/chewy but soft.
I did not went ahead with the desserts since I was was so full by the end of the meal. Having said that, I do not mind at all paying a visit another time to taste more of this delicious sojourn.

Fancy place. Has really good service and the presentation of food was simply superb. The decor and ambience was beautiful. It was a bit expensive for a non occassion dinner but would recommend this place nonetheless.
Can't believe how under-rated this place is. It had exemplary service. A lovely ambience that calms the nerves. Excellent food prepared fresh, promptly and served with elegance. A great beverage menu too. And oh, the best Pani Puri I've had in my life!!! Definitely going back.
I would love to thank Mr. Raj who served us at both the occasions when I had been to Rocksalt, chic ambience, worth the food pricing
Music was the only downgrade at this watering hole.
Delicious food, exhaustive range of liquor selection
Mist fans were really nice 😊
Great place. Excellent and peaceful ambience and decor right in the middle of the CBD. Perfect place to catch up with friends and family over a classy lunch/dinner or to go on a date. The staff are friendly and courteous and service was perfect. Will definitely mark this as one of my go to places. We had the dahi kebab olive and parmesan naan dal makhani and jalebi with rabdi. All the dishes were up to the mark and left us with the satisfaction of money well spent.
So this was yet another great find in the city of Bengaluru , from it’s open & wide ambience to the great great courtesy of the staff , this place speaks volumes , we had called for Mutton Dum Biryani , Baked Mutton Samosas , Ghee roasted Prawns & chicken tikka soola !
Every dish ordered was a hit , the taste , presentation & the flavour just made our night , we finished the night with having some nice South African Wine with Fig Kulfi , All in All 5/5 is well deserved ! Good show guys !
This is one of the best place for food lovers in Bangalore ,the prices are just perfect ,the food quality is just awesome,i just loved everything i had nd the “rocksalt’s signature jalebi” is a must try ..if in bangalore this is just the perfect place to put some awesome things in ur belly❤️
Great Ambience, its a light music amazing place and Good food ,we tried kebab e phool and in mains we tried Methi paneer roll it's a delicious food.and great service ! The person who served us Mr. Raj Kiran was very friendly and courteous and we didn't regret going by his recommendations. Thanks for the great experience.
Very friendly staff, Food is amazing, they arrange for events, ambiance is superb, if you have dineout book and go you will get 10% off on Bill...
Great ambience and interiors. Loved the green wall and airy open lounge feel of the space. It overlooks the green campus of SBI and for a second you can forget that you are in the heart of the city. It is great to go to as a couple and as a big group. They have giant fans which spray a cool mist of water, which really helps in keeping the temperature comfortable in the summer. The service was fabulous too.
They gave us a Pani Puri shot with green peas filling on the house. It was delicious, the Pani was a yogurt concoction that had the best blend of masalas. Both the food and drinks menu are extensive and you are spoilt for choice. We had the aam Pana martini which was fabulous and the citrus sangria which was refreshing.
We had the Nan pizza .. which was amazing, with pickled onions and the yogurt kebab and potato tuk were great.
We also ordered the live dahi vada Chaat with liquid nitrogen. This was a bit of a let down.the presentation was great, but there was something amiss, and that's the only reason I am giving this place a 4 and not 5.
The baked yogurt with a crispy layer of caranel on top and hidden tiny rasagullas was a great way to end the meal , the portion size is really generous so it's good to share. The rocksalt jalebi with rabdi foam was also awesome. The gulab jamun cheesecake was very heavy and difficult to finish.
We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

Rocksalt by far tops the list of my favourite restaurants, it is right on top of the Nexa showroom on St. Marks road.
The decor clubbed with the view is breathtaking and soothing, one side is the open kitchen and the other side is plush greenery.
It's a big No No for smoking at rocksalt as they do not have a designated zone for it.
The service is quite fast and you can always ask the staff for the Chefs specials and recommendations.
Few recommendations
> Panner pepper dry.
> Tandoor roasted chicken wings
> Smoked naan pizza is a 4 slice pizza and it is one of the best pizza's you can have in Bangalore.
> The curry you must definately order is the famous "Rocksalt butter chicken", this is one of the finest gravies in Bangalore, the consistency is really smooth thorough and the burst of flavours is a delight to the palate.
>The Gulab jamun inspired cheese cake is by far the best desert I have had in a restaurant before, a unique combination of gulab jamun and cheesecake, i'm sure no one would stop at just one of these and would definitely go for a second order.
Well now this was a very good change from the conventional restaurant scene .. the food tasted really fresh and the staff really polite .. the semi-open ambience totally complements the evergreen Bangalore weather ...
This is a hidden jem in the hustle and bustle of CBD. We were pleasantly surprised to see the open air setting and eady seating options. The service was attentive at the start and gradually getting slack guess that was due to the weekend crowd. The fusion food options were good and innovative.
Assorted papads, pindi chole tacos and curry leaf chilli chicken were the picks and well presented.
Curd rice was a delightful surprise and we ended with rock salt jalebi, which is to die for thing if you visit here.
Great place to catchup with friends over a conversation and a drink. Will be back next time for sure.
Had been to this restaurant after seeing reviews , peaceful place to have a delicious food , great ambience and great staff .... loved each and every course of meal...🍲🥣🥗😍
This is a must visit in Bangalore. Beautiful ambience and delicious food 😍😍 Great service and value for money. #friendsnfamily #dineoutplace
Been here today for dinner food was really more than expected ambience was cool manager called tripathy he suggested the food and taken feedback very frequently best place to dine in for a family
Great take on Indian cuisine... Lovely place for a nice Sunday lunch with family... The crab moilee is delish and also the paneer galouti kebabs were tasty... packed some of the crab for takeaway as well to eat again at dinner 😊
What a great place ! Loved the ambience, it is light, airy and refreshing during the day, and I can imagine it looks great at night.
The menu has a good variety of Indian/modern Indian options. What caught my eye was the chaat and pani puri section, which had quite out of the box options. We tried the baby aloo tuk and Kurkuri bhindi chaat for starters. The bhindi chaat was exceptional, it just had the right balance of flavour. The aloo tuk was lightly spiced and very delicious.
For main course, I had some naan with dal makhni, which was a huge bowl of creamy deliciousness, I was saving space for dessert! Dessert was the beautifully plated gulab Jamun cheesecake, which was great as well.
The service was quick, and the staff was friendly. This place just ticks all the right boxes. Will definitely be back for more.
Hi.Hv heard a lot about this restaurant n rating it 4.Pls could you put up your bar menu too as soon as possible as I would like to know what you offer on drinks.Thanks.
On a sunny afternoon we sauntered in this restaurant as it was in close vicinity to our new office. Quickly looked at Zomato and found some great reviews.
The restaurant is located on a vast open rooftop and on third floor of a building. The terrace is partially open and partially covered with seating furniture placed nicely to make the place spacious. Its really spacious and lot of comfortable seating across this space. One side is a huge bar counter behind which all the famous spirits are nicely displayed for the patrons.
Thanks to our attending staff we got some good support on choices of food.
#Paanipuri with a twist. We had one sampling of regular paanipuri. But then they also have on offer a paanipuri fillings with twist. Chicken 65, mutton and shrimp fillings.Well to be honest, nothing beats the original recipe.
#Dahi ke Kebab was the show stopper starter for us.Hung curd shallow fried to perfection. It was just melt in your mouth dish. The best dahi kebab I had till now.Served along with Mint and Carrot chutney.
#Chicken Soola Kebab along with Radish chutney was a nice and spicy.
For the mains
#Kori Gassi chicken in Mangalore style aling with Crisp Aappams was delicious.
#Vegetable stew along with Aappam was equally tasty
Dessers were the scene stealers for lunch.
#Rocksalt Jalebi. Famous Indian sweet served with a twist in a martini glass, alongwith rabdi and pistachio
#Caramelised Baked Yoghurt was the innovation we loved.A dessert of baked yoghurt along with mini rasgullaas, strawberries in it. Heavenly😋
A place to go again and again for the ambience, service , quality and innovative food offerings.
Highly recommended
Polite staff, nice ambience, brilliant food. Must visit place. Amazing menu spread plus 2+2 on drinks on zomato. So, why wait hurry up and enjoy with your friends and family!
Great ambiance. Great food. Was there on a late sunday afternoon. Ordred prawn starter, mutton ,mushroom and goan prawn curry. Taste was top notch. Sevice prompt too. I would recommend it to everybody.
Great Ambience, if looking for a light music amazing place, family friendly too.. the bar tender Raj made sure to serve us his best. Good food good mood❤️
Pleasant ambience , light music, family outing, good food , awesome drinks , bar attender Mr Raj served us special drinks which was awesome.
Seating at the bar is better
Love love love the food here
Super creative and simply delicious
The chicken 65 shots and lamb ran tacos have my heart❤️❤️❤️
Lovely ambience and really good staff
Would definitely go again for the butter chicken💯
Had been here few weeks back , loved the place. Food was excellent , felt the quantity was less but nevertheless the taste was great ! Kurkuri bhindi chat , appam and stew , relaxed ambience and well selected decor ... staff was very kind and made sure we are comfortable ! Would love to go back
Finally visited this place n quite happy with the ambience n food . The starters tasted really different, the mushroom matar biryani was damn gooood . The green leaf chilli chicken n the baby potatoes as well :) good staff
This place is minimalist, classy, and serves Modern Indian delicacies. The cocktails here are something no one should miss. The concotions are unpredictable, experimental, and always hit the right spots.
I would like to applaud the staff of RockSalt. We were a bunch of ladies who had to have the table arrangement changed a couple of times. But the staff were very courteous and very obliging. Thank you. The service too was really good. Very good Indian food too. Good job guys
Well designed semi-open rooftop which provides a relaxed setting. The fusion food is definitely what brought me here and it sure didn't disappoint! Went in for the baked samosa (served in a shot/chai 😆 glass), naan pizza (thin crust delightful mix), caramel yoghurt (rasgulla based with a blueberry sauce hidden in it).
Worth a visit if you wish to treat yourself or others or even otherwise to wind down after a long day. I believe this was also rated as the most hygienic places around.
We went to RockSalt for lunch last Saturday and the kids and adults thoroughly enjoyed all the food and drinks that we tasted. The ambience was fabulous, food was unique and the drinks were exquisite. The person who served us, Mr. Satyajit was courteous and friendly, and we didn’t regret going by his recommendations. Will definitely go there again, and soon! Thanks for the great experience.
Loved the place for their scrumptious food, polite service and the outdoorish vibe. They are also zomato gold partners which is another incentive to dine here. Will definitely be visiting again!
Great place, Great food with a Twist. Must try place .. The snacks were awesome because of which we ended up only those and dinner was left for the next visit..
Just WOW
Please do visit this place for dinner. It’s so calm and ambience is just lovely for great evenings for food and drinks! This place is perfect for family dinners and great place for couples. It’s a new place located in central Bangalore and should definitely get the hype! I would definitely visit again:) had a great time here and have no complaints whatsoever

Dropped by for a quick drink with two friends. Great service. Lovely the whole ambience and the lighting. Will definitely check it out again for the food.
Lovely place and lovely food at a reasonable price. Nice ambience. The service is very good. Extremely courteous staff. Will surely recommend to others. Loved the complimentary pani puri
I visited the place for my wedding anniversary with family and I was happy with quality and taste of the food, it was really amazing... A perfect dinner on special day... what more you expect but yes I preferred they giving some complimentary as it was a wedding anniversary which is been given by all pubs and hotel but unfortunately there was nothing and it was a bad customer satisfaction.
The ambience of the place is very good. The food is well presented and excellent in taste. The staff is very attentive, helpful with suggestions and polite. Best place to enjoy dinner with loved ones and friends
Amazing cocktails .... Try the coorg Expresso martini ... One of the best ever!!!! Order the chef special ... He comes and explains the drinks to you... They are so legit amazing !!! Ask for Raj as the bartender and drink whatever he gives ... #respect. Some of the top ones: Curry leaf tequila, kala khatta tequila, tequila martinis ...
Let's talk about the beauty that is the espresso martini. It's got a creme brule. A. Creme. Brule.

You get a martini. You feel all cool. And then, the burnt caramel sinks in. Imagine a desert. And then a cocktail. And then holy matrimony. You need this like a person needs oxygen, and a fish needs water.
This will complete you.
Very nice outside environment. Modern spa e with good food, drinks and service. It is on an upper floor and open air so street noise can be loud
This beautiful place in the heart of Bangalore is great for someone wishing to enjoy tasty indian cuisine with drinks. Ambiance is very peaceful and soothing and service was great. I went during the day time on a weekend and really enjoyed my time.

Rock salt is a stylish , contemporary restaurant which is situated in the centre of the city with some of the busiest areas around it but once you get into 3rd floor the cool open layout of the restaurant makes you forget about what is outside.
The place seemed popular with group of women especially gathered for a leisurely lunch.
Even we have gone their for the lunch we order cocktails and some starters and the main course it was great taste and they presentation was classy overall we enjoyed our lunch .
Was looking for new places to go and this some how stood out, so we took a chance and dropped by. The place looks classy from the time you walk in and they have actually stuck to the "rocksalt" theme, there are have these cute salt decor pieces. Food is good and service is nice. Plus point they have happy hours everyday till 8 which is always a bonus the drinks are well made. Must visit, also a very date like place if you are looking to impress someone ;)

Classy ambiance, good food and prompt service make Rocksalt a favourite among Blore crowd. Chef Abhijit Saha's brainchild took Indian cuisine to the next level..be in taste or presentation.
The pashmina chicken tikka is to die for. Brilliant portions and amazing flavours make this dish an instant hit. I was bit disappointed when I was unable to taste Kaffir lime tandoori fish due to unavailability. But the lamb rann tacos were good replacement. They went very well with our beer. Since we were not in a mood to try main course, we straight went to desserts - gulab jamun inspired cheesecake. What a beauty!! Beautifully done with macaroons and stuff for presentation. Pricing is steep but once a while it is completely okay to indulge.
Happy eating!!

Food is really tasty especially Pani Puri. Many options to select from. Limited choices for Starters for Veg. A tad expensive. Staff is courteous. In all a very good experience.
This place is so under the radar it's funny.
I honestly don't know why it has not been noted in my circle of friends , honestly I don't even know of anyone has been there.
Well it's their problem for not being here.
Cause it is EXCELLENT.
The ambience is very very modern.
They have an eclectic set of dishes from all the corners of India.
Primarily North Indian Of course.
But little dabs of Bengali , Kerela and Chettinadu Cuisine.
For drinks I had the Ginger and Scotch , which was good all be it a little stiff.
Coconut water was available as well.
We had a very spicy but great chicken starter and ended it with Romali Rotis , Chicken Koorma and Dal Makhani, we also ordered the Appams.
None of these things disappointed, we left as very happy customers.
I will def be visiting this place again.
Excellent food. The galaUti kebab ate to die for. The paneer tikka was also great. The Bengali fish from there special menu was also a treat. Light, non oily and yum. The vegetable stew and and appams were great. My small kids relished them. Thank you rock salt for the excellent service. Your staff needs to be complemented for their great hospitality and prompt service.
Loved the offerings, ambience and service, especially the desserts. Being not so desert person but still trying it n still be elated is something I wasn’t asking for yesterday night. Come by n experience this new place.
A great place for lazy Sunday brunches , i loved the decor , the ambience and the food .. but I wish they had more vegetarian options. Overall a pretty good place 👍🏻
Thanks to Zomato again for making me to step into this place. The location is easy to pin and the ambiance is fantastic. You will be attracted to the ambiance in no time. Staffs are very courteous. They have an option of special menu items recommended by the chef. We ordered quite a few Chicken items and all were delicious. Starters, main course and breads were just amazing. We didn't find any issues with the quantity and taste. But, I have one issues and is a major one. In starters, there was an item Kaffir Lime Flavoured Tandoori Fish, we ordered it and wanted to get it cancelled within few minutes but the waiter told that it's been 80 percent prepared and can't be cancelled. We were baffled because it took approx 10 minutes to reach our table. So, this was a blatant lie by the staff and is unacceptable. Somehow, I let the matter to pass by as I was with my friends. This place deserves a rating of 5, but due to this pungent incident, I am lowering it to 4.
Been here twice now! Once for the Sindhi food festival where the thali we ordered was just awesome! Staff is friendly and helpful. Came here once again to try stuff from their regular menu and once again it was excellent! The galouti sliders and biryani were stand out items on our second visit as were the chicken kababs we ordered! Not had such good roti and naaan outside a star hotel in a loooong time now!!
This restaurant was really a great experience! The food was amazing and so was the ambience and staff.
We got watermelon basil martini and sangria , for drinks. I personally dint enjoy the martini very much..
For starters we ordered spicy peas pani poori , paneer tikka , and mini samosas. The pani poori was great! The pani was tangy and sweet which came in shot glasses. The panner tikka was so well done. It was layered with chutneys in between each layer and soo soft! The samosas were served with 3 dips which were again layered .. absolutely lip smacking! We loved it!
The staff were very courteous and gave good suggestions regarding the portions so that no food is wasted..
The main course was nothing unsual but delicious!
The only tiny thing that was annoying how the staff was clearing off my plates and cutlery every now and then without even asking ..
Would have loved some light music too ..
Overall a big thumbs up to this Rooftop restaurant!
A delightful experience !
Whenever we intend to meet friends over dinner for good friend and good company , the first place strikes is rocksalt . The place never disappoints . Having worked with international Luxury hotels and dined at some of the best restaurants in India and overseas I can say that Rock Salt exceeded my expectations. Under the leadership of Chef de Cuisine Barun, the kitchen churns out some amazing recipes. Barun is a master in Indian cuisine and has worked with leading brands like Oberoi Hotels and has done pre openings of Chef Saha’s restaurant in Singapore as well.
We went to Rock Salt during the Sindhi food festival. We got to sample few Sindhi delicacies which were a pleasant surprise. Clearly shows the kind of research and preparations gone in menu planning.
Top quality ingredients and delicious Indian food with fantastically balanced flavours. Amuse Bouche were very creative and delectable. The plating style is modern and contemporary. The place is on a roof top and is naturally ventilated and enjoys natural light. High ceiling and large open spaces. Seating is comfortable with choice of tables or Sofa style lounges. Beverage selection is wonderful with some lovely cocktails. Service is friendly and efficient. Chef Barun got to know that it was my birthday and offered me his own version of cake dessert at the end of my meal as a surprise. It was a lovely gesture from him and goes to show how they valued their guests. All together, this was one unforgettable dining experience which I highly recommend. Can’t wait to be back! My best wishes to Rock Salt team. You guys are doing a brilliant job. Keep it up!
Cheers

Fairly new place. Excellent decor and ambience. Open air. It's lovely when it rains. It's a big space. Apt for large groups. The music could be better. It's mostly empty, probably because it's very new and yet to get marketed. The menu choice is pretty extensive. They have some interesting food fusions across starters, mains and dessert. Overall satisfied with the experience!
An breathtakingly beautiful restaurant. It's a new age fusion restaurant with a predominantly north indian menu. The decor is nice and the food not only looks artistic but also tastes blissfull. Do try the dahi kebab and the gulab jamun cheese cake for dessert.
Phenomenal food. Take your comfort food and give it the Abhijit Saha twist and that is what Rocksalt is all about. The presentation and the flavors is brilliant.
The ambience is unbelievable with greens all around and that too on St.Marks road. Music loud enough to enjoy or have a private conversation. Good for corporates
Located right in the middle of the bustling streets of St marks, this rooftop restaurant takes your breath away with its ambience and extremely hygienic environment. Service was excellent, and our waiter provided many a recommendation which is always welcome.
A la carte is what we opted for, and honestly, the variety of the food could've been better. Heard the ambience is best at night, but I found it pleasant on a late afternoon as well. Rates are leaning towards the expensive side.
Food review:
Chole Pani Puri with chaas: Good, but expected more.
Sliders were average.
Naan and mushroom palak was excellent.
Fresh juices are refreshing and on point.
Desserts was very unique in presentation and a must try! Especially the CryoChocolate Ganache and the rasgulla touille.
Overall, worth a visit, would recommend. Does have room for improvement.
Brilliant ambience. Great food. Really good service. They have live music on Saturdays and it's a crime to miss that. Overall had an amazing time here. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking to have a good time.
Amazing place, awesome ambience, good service staff. Surprised to see the way Indian food is presented and served. Choice beers we're limited when we visited compared to the options s in the menu. Lost one star for that. Over an excellent place to hangout and have your meal with your special one/s.
I’ve passed it so often and never knew the space upstairs is so spacious and open. The ambience is pretty nice. Food was well made and not too spicy or greasy. The sweets we had, a phirni and a creme brûlée were both good. If I come back here, I’d repeat the dahi kababs ( very light) and fish tikkas ( Amritsari style, done just right.)
If you end up going to this restaurant after lunch hours around later afternoon or early evening, you get to try the Chaat Nashta Chai and Cocktail menu on offer. Just the right snacks or small plates that one would need to satisfy that early evening cravings or just spending time with friends or family. Great collection of summer special Gin based cocktails, the elderflower collins was my favorite. Pani Puri shots with a twish, chicken tikka stuffed puri's with masala chaas as the pani was excellent ! Tried a few small plates, top pics would be curry leaf chicken, Baked Kachori Chat, Beetroot cutlet, Murgh Soola Kebab and Kurkuri Bhindi ! On the dessert, do try out the Rockstar Jalebi that comes with Rabri and almond crumbi. Nice roof top ambience, fans and coolers to bring the temperature down, service is good and valet parking is available
Food- 4/5
Ambience- 5/5
Service- 5/5
Value for money- 4/5
The food I tried was good. The vacuum fried chips and dips were my favourite along with the desserts. The coconut one and the creme brulee are a must try.
I just loved this place. The ambience is great with a modern decor and is soothingly lighted. The place is spacious and gives privacy to the patrons. I went on a saturday night and enjoyed my time over there. There was live music and the singer was taking requests from the audience as well. The food also was really good.
What do you do when you walk into a beautiful restaurant by the name ROCK SALT and find out you have barged into a private party of a soft launch with just invitees . My husband Sunny and I beat a hasty retreat by saying we are Vegans ( which we are). They would have none of it and invited us to sit down. What happened during the course of time was that we were served a gastronomic feast of one of the most delicious Vegan feast I have ever had and that too specifically prepared for us on the spot. I am not elaborating the dishes as it would take pages. But no words can be enough to thank the care and hospitality to we uninvited guests .
This is a Chique, Evolved and A must visit place in Bangalore. If they serve Vegan food in this style and quality, I can with all confidence say their Menu will be top notch.
I could only upload 3 pictures.
Started with PANI PURI with jal jeera and tomato
Crispy fried Okra
Papads with Papaya relish and Chilly chutney
Watermelon juice with a touch of Rock salt .
Virgin Sangria
Dal Thadka
Palak Mushrooms
Vegetable Stew
Rotis
And the most Divine Coconut and Chocolate ice cream made powdery with liquid nitrogen.
Thank you team ROCK SALT for gifting us such a beautiful experience . Can't wait till we visit again this time with friends and family.
This all happened because our flight was cancelled and we had to spend overnight in Bangalore. I call this serendipity.
Great ambience, the Staff, the Mixologist, Food presentation and the DJ.. All make it a great evening.. the place is called RAAHI now.. I would definitely come back.. Gets pretty crowded and loud after 9:30PM..
Very nice ambience... Good innovative plating... And drinks was decent as well... Could have more veg Indian options ... But most of the items were pretty nice.... .............
The food was very good here... perfect butter chicken. The fusion cocktails Areva must try. Great ambience and service. Looking forward to visiting again...
One of new favorite for Fusion Indian food. Airy and breezy terrace restaurant paired with cheerful staff and yummy food. Must try - Pizza naan, Mushroom starters, Daal makhani and garlic naan.
Great desert as well. Must try Jalebi rabri and Gulab jamun cheesecake(less sweet and full of flavours).
Great food, great ambience, excellent presentation and service. Good for families. Well spread out seating.
Another feather on the cap from Mr.Abhijit Saha. Modern Indian food with a great hospitality and ambience. I had been at the Sindhi food festival and the set meal was just fabulous. Truly enjoyed
Nice north Indian food. Reservations recommended. Quick to moderate service. Appreciable ambience. Separate smoke area.
