Nice ambiance and good service, why I given 4star that because tandoori prawns was very ugly and very bad test ,but I must say their grilled fish was awesome which is must try dish..
We visited this restaurant with family. It was a pleasant experience. Food was delicious and met the expectations. Waiting time was not too long. The music was very soothing and very much added to the ambience.
Ghee Roast is very expensive and the quantity is very less, but it was tasty
Would surely visit again and also will recommend other friends. Best place for sea food lovers!
Must try Palak rice here. Very different. Served like a semi gravy. Flavourful and served with raita. Some papad along would go best. Satisfied
Holding 1 star for the high cost, few items are sold at high rates & I did not feel worth; ambience good & good average food you can expect ......... .........
If you ever had some sea food cravings n you are in and around Rajajinagar. This is one of the nice place to stop by for some MANGALORE cuisine. Ordered fish manchurian, the fish was spicy, tender and juicy 😊 The prawn ghee roast was so yumm. Prawns were so fresh, tender, juicy and cooked to perfection. The ghee roast masala was super yummy!! I also ordered Neer Dosa with spicy mangalorean fish curry. The fish curry was lip smacking. The spicy n tanginess of the fish curry was just perfectly tasty!! Must visit place for seafood lovers.
Very good service and delicious food.
Good ambience too. Cost is bit high. Neat and comfortable place to dine out. Full of A/c halls. spacious area.
Visited multiple times. Good setup . There was a live music program one time. Live fish foods are available. Silver fish, thai curry are best. Love the cocktails
If you have some love towards Mangalorean food , i presume that this is a must visit. Visited here with friends for drinks and dinner. The place got packed though it was a early evening and a week day too. we had some chilled beers, few cocktails and for food we tried Prawns ghee roast, Paneer tikka, Fish tikka, peanut masala, mutton pepper fry, Bharwan Mushroom tikka for starters , Neer dosa and Chicken curry mangalore style for mains. The service was pretty quick and the staff were very attentive. I must say that whatever we ate was superb and i couldnt find a flaw. Perfect taste, excellent quality and generous portion. Prawns ghee roast is a something i loved the most , especially the masala was so yum that we could just go on eating that endlessly. Neer dosa was super soft and the chicken curry gravy was simply amazing. Overall a awesome place for dining and drinks
Went to this place for lunch, it offers good spread of selections for mlore cuisine, considering i am from mlore i can say that all the dishes were not in power with my expectations, the quality of food is good, the ambience could be better, good customer service. There were no exceptional dishes of everything i ordered but it didn't taste bad either.
Best place for sea food in and around rajajinagar.
Crab and squids were too good .
And u got a live counter can select the desired fish from there
Must visit for all sea food lovers.. Cuisine is mostly Mangalorean.. Loved Neer dosa with Fish curry.. Fish n chicken starters were yummy too.. Chicken briyani was also good.. Service was on the slower side.. Ambience is very good.
Food-4.5 Ambience-4 Service-3
Would consider going here anytime; food feels like the one prepared in my house. All fish lovers should try this place the Goan style curry or the mango ltr style is the best.
Place is quite dark and has a good ambiance with good food;also has a bar attached to the dining.
I've been to this place a couple of times and I must say they serve really good food.
Ambience -
Its beautiful with dim lights and slow music.
It's calm with no traffic noise. One can enjoy their drinks and food here.
Service -
The staff are highly courteous and attentive to each and every customer.
The service is pretty quick and you don't have to wait much.
Food -
I tried quite a few dishes here and everything was perfect.
Vegetarians too have a lot of options.
We tried devil potatoes which was too good with perfect spice in it.
Paneer ghee roast was amazing with sufficient masala on it.
Chicken ghee roast with neer dosa was the best.
We also tried their fish masala fry and fish tawa fry and yes they were amazing.
Veg biryani is something you should try here as the flavour is to the point.
I was a little disappointed with the drinks as there are less options for mocktails, else it is a good place with great food and music.
And yes they have live music during the weekends.
Will get back soon for more food.
Keep up the good work!
Lovely ambience. Great service. Staff is friendly. You might have to wait for the food but worth the wait. Carb curry is delicious. Can do better with French fries though as it is a good combination with beer. Food cost is average. All in all I will visit again if I have a craving for good sea food.
The place is very good and food is very nice and Mr. Manju gave me a very good service and we will keep coming to this restaurant thanks guys keep up the good work.
Rajajinagar doesn't really have a lot of great restaurants but if you are looking forward to have some seafood, this is your go-to. Ranging from Chinese to some authentic Konkani, they have a pretty good range of options. Situated on Modi Hospital Road, it's on the first floor, above the Chevrolet showroom
Chicken Manchow Soup: Delicious. A tad bit salty but I don't my food having an extra pinch of salt, I prefer it even 4/5
Honey Glazed Lemon Chicken: The chicken was tender with a sweet-sour twist to it. 4/5
Ghee Roast Prawns: On their recommendation we tried this. It was mild and pretty tasty and different to what I usually eat. The prawns was tad overcooked making them hard 3.5/5
Tandoor Special Chicken: Again, one of their recommendations. It was vv spicy. I wasn't a huge fan of it but if you love spice you can probably try it although I personally would not recommend 2/5
Chicken Malai Kebab: Very different to the usual Malai Kebabs. Not too sure, if it was a good different. It had a very very overpowering cardamom flavor to it and the chicken wasn't as tender as I would like it to be 2.5/5
Buffalo wings: It was okay. I'd recommend you to try their sea food and some of the other authentic cuisines 2.75/5
Burnt Garlic Squid: THIS IS 10/10 RECOMMENDED. It's got a great burnt garlic flavor, creamy and rich. The squid is cooked well. You should totally try it. Although, I tried this the previous time I was there but it wasn't available this time (probably because we ended up going for dinner at 10:30. Go sooner if you want to try it) 5/5
Burnt Garlic Prawns: I was disappointed that I couldn't get my squid but my love for the burnt garlic sauce persuaded me to get the prawn version and I was pretty disappointed. Very less sauce and the prawns were overcooked. 3/5
Seer Fish: I generally don't prefer that type of cooking of fish. I like mean with sauces or deep fried. My family was raving about it though. They really liked the "masala", if you may. It was cooked perfectly and was full of flavor. It's more on the authentic sea food side so if you're into that, you should totally try it
Egg Fried Rice: It is light and mild and perfect main course if you've feasted on the starters and you just want something super light for your main like I did. Totally recommend 4/5
Diced Chicken Hong Kong Style: Goes pretty well with the fried rice. It's on the sweeter side 4/5
The quantity has been reduced lately and so has the quality. When I first tried it, I was a very happy diner but all-in-all, it's a pretty good place for sea food especially if you're in Rajajinagar where you have VERY limited options
Had been to Sea Route Restaurant for the first time. Friendly staff n loved the ambience ..N to add more there was a live musical performance..Which we enjoyed.. Would lov to visit this place more.
Visited this restaurant for the 3rd or 4th time with mom and dad. Nice place! Very nice live music of all old Hindi and Kannada songs. The food was really good. My favourite dish was the Nawabi Kebab. The hotel staff is very courteous. Special mention to Mr. Aradhya, the restaurant manager, who kept checking on us and made sure we were well served.
Amazing food and ambience, a very warm welcome by Mr. Aradhya who is a restaurant manager.. We had the most amazing delicacies ever.. The entire staff was very friendly and took care of our needs so very well..
I have home delivered food from Sea route through Zomato. As the name says they have got the authentic sea foods on their menu. Chilli garlic prawn and mangalore fish curry are personal favourites.
If you have waiters and manager like this you can sell any thing.... Service is awesome... Food is very tasty. Ambience, food and specially service
As soon as you enter the dim lights are soothing on the eye, the management is friendly and offer a warm welcome. The starters are pretty good in terms of quality. Fish tikka is tasty and the mocktails are pretty decent. Though it's a restore bar easily suggestible for family members to tag along.
Family friendly place. I had to meet up with my bestie and decided to go for lunch at this place and I don’t regret my decision 😁 We ordered prawn ghee roast ( so delicious 😋) which is their signature dish , buffalo wings (very juicy and tender) anjan thava fish fry ( wz average) and mocktails were great too. Must try neer dosa and chicken curry. Good service and ambience. Loved their music collection. However desert options are very less. The manager recommended tender coconut souffle which tasted exactly like rice kheer. This restaurant should be in everyone’s bucket list who love mangalore food.
Food taste, hospitality is good. We family members been there 5th time. We enjoyed the food. We celebrated birthday parties. ................
I love the Ambience and Fresh food (especially sea food) together with service and hospitality of Raju. Good place for Kids too. Will definitely visit this restaurant again
It has a decent ambience, has a little slow service in main foods but well greeted staffs. It is a must visit for all manglorean food lovers, yummy fish fry n prawn ghee roast. Neer dosa n fish curry was awesome, u must try tender coconut souffle a different tasted dessert and mocktails are at its best
Service is very very slow, staff were not aware about Zomato Gold, after much realization they agreed to give the offer from Zomato Gold.
Ambience is ok nothing to boast abt it.
Buffalo wings was very tasty and yummy. Neer dose and Mangalore Chicken Curry had a authentic flavour. Chicken fried rice was good.
Would definitely recommend this restaurant but staff need to improve quick service.
One of best sea food restaurant in rajajinagar, we tried bangada masala fry it was mouth watering, and dal kichdi was also good, very friendly staff and good service.
Great ambience. Good food. All tandoor kababs are excellent. They are fresh, sufficiently spiced and juicy. Do try the kebabs. The sea food is delicious. Right from prawns to kingfish. It's a great family restaurant and they serve alcohol too. Decent staff and quick service. Recommended.
authentic mangalorean sea food.
Kane fish is my favorite.
Excellent service - particularly Raju.
Nice ambience and music.
But Little expensive .
I see few of the menu list is missing when comparing with hotel menu.
Food was yummy, great place to try variety of seafood and lounge was peaceful! No loud music it was calm and soothing, good place to hang around but Mangalore curry wasn't that great! Rest all wer good!! 😎
Amazing place to be there with family for good time, the good thing is that the hotel staff is very cooperative and the food is very good...
This place is wonderful for sea food. The ambience is beautiful. Dim lights, slow music. Perfect for a date. Me along with three cousins had visited for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. They happily gave us a six seater sofa. We ordered four starters, two main course and beer. The butter garlic prawn starter was a show stealer. It was very well done with flavors oozing into its buttery deliciousness. The jalapeno chili fish was a boneless fish starter with the unique taste of Jalapenos. The fish meat was succulent and had the perfect balance of flavors infused. The other two starters were chicken based. Chatpata chicken and Golkonda chicken. The chatpata chicken was chicken tikka tempered in spices. The Golkonda chicken variety was more like Guntur chicken with curry leaves and spices. We had kulchas and machi ka salan(not sure if it was what we had). I did not particularly like the kulcha. It was more like roti with greens on top. The fish curry was more towards buttery sweet taste, but tasted divine. Definitely a must have. We ordered a fish tawa biriyani. The biriyani was mildly spiced with ample fish. On the whole we enjoyed the service and food. Good work guys :)
Nice place with good ambience and polite service. I love the neer dosa and crab masala here. I go there just to have neer dosa. Neer dosa is prepared in an open kitchen and just watching them prepare the dosa elevates my hunger. Though I had other options on the menu, nothing could really catch my attention.
They also serve alcohol and have a bar counter with seperate seating arrangement.
Valet parking is available.
Seafood. That's what you need to savour at this place. The fish curry and beer dose is very flavorful. The ghee roast and biryani are quite good but the anchovies fry is what this place is great for.
It's a nice calm place...good for family dinners...very yummy sea food....great for sea food lovers. ☺ value for money...personally I loved the place and the ambiance.🐟🍗
A nice family restaurant with Mangalore cuisine, you get to select the fish that you want to eat!
I loved the Mushroom Bhurwaan and the Prawns golden fry. Menu is slightly on the expensive side!
Ambience - 5/5
Food 4/5

Superb romantic place i lured d's recipes over der dat too da chicken fire roast is just yummy every one must try it !!!!!!!!!!🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 it's one of my fav dinning place nw😀😀😀😀😀
This is a warm and cozy place, perfect for a romantic date. It is famous for it neer dosa and fish curry just in a mangalorean way. Loved their neer dosa and fish curry. Service is okayish and the staffs are good. Tried a lot of stuffs as we went there to celebrate my parents marriage anniversary. They liked the roti and Hyderabadi curry. Bill was on the heavier side but it's worth it if you are craving for mangalorean food like I was.
Place to hangout with family.........a good place for sea food lovers.....u can choose the fresh fish available lively n ask for the dish......hygienic n good service....
Food was delicious. Anjal masala fry must try. Love the ambience with good music. Good seafood items with different variety. Love the space. Good service.
Nice ambience. Good food. We had been here with my family and there was an live music that day, totally loved the combination of good food and music. My most favourite dish here is biryani.
I went to this place with my family and found it to be excellent. The ambience and the service isn't that great but the staff are polite. We ordered their prawns sukka, devil's fish, Mangalore fish curry with neer dosas and their prawn tava biryani. Loved the biryani. It was the best part of the meal. It is any excellent place to spend time with family in and around basaveshwaranagr given the limited choices in this place
The food and the ambience is very good but the only thing is it is over-expensive. Other than that, it's the best place for family and friends for lunch/dinner. :)
Staffs are courteous and service was little slow may be due to the rush hours in the Sunday noon. Overall Nice ambience and enjoyed the food here
Excellent place.. Amazing food specially the sea food. Extremely courteous staff, customers can choose the fish they wanna eat. Live music is a cherry on the cake to top it all..!!
I had been to this place with my family. Its really good place for non veg lovers as you get to eat varieties of dishes.
For starters we ordered chilly gobi which had a proper crisp in it and fish tikka which was properly cooked.
In main course we ordered Mirchi Murg with roties and chicken biryani. The Mirchi Murg was average in taste.
But there was no proper menu for desserts.

Sea Route is located close to Modi Hospital and parking is quite tough to find.
The ambience is tastefully done and quite impressive. We ordered fish tikka and tandoori prawns. Both were quite good. For main course we ordered schezwan noodles and biriyani. The biriyani was very ordinary and in fact quite bland. The noodles were just all right as well.
Service is on time but the person taking orders is not very keen on explaining the various dishes.
The pricing is bit on the higher side but it was overall a good experience.
I chanced upon this place when searching for the best mangy cuisine in Bangalore, it is owned by the Sea Rock guys in Sheshadripuram
6 of us landed here and ate to our heart's content, I can't call out the best dish as such coz pretty much everything was absolutely spot on!
we ordered kane tava fry, chicken ghee roast, paneer ghee roast, marvai sukka, mangalorean veg curry, prawn gassi & silver fish curry. The one that didn't feel that great was the marvai sukka (shells)..
In fact the one thing I probably should call out is the boiled rice, it was so flavoursome I could eat it on its own.. the fish curry with it was a marriage made in heaven - I think I was in a mild trance :)
I am tempted to rate the paneer ghee roast higher than the chicken ghee roast, its probably the most tender I've had so far. even the mangy veg curry which seemed like a combination of a sambhar & coconut curry was finger licking good
The service was great and ambience was nice too, the price too was lower than most of its competitors (worked out to 4300 including few beers & other drinks for 6 people).
I would highly recommend this place, it's worth the drive even if you dont live close by
TL;DR - Excellent food, particularly the Prawn Ghee Roast and the Chicken Kundapuri with Neer Dosa. Alcohol slightly expensive. Atmosphere better than average but not the best.
The wife and I were a bit skeptical about trying this place given the location and how it looks from outside. However, we were pleasantly surprised that the restaurant had a pretty decent fine dining area for family.
Alcohol was on the pricey side, this area usually sells a pint for Rs. 120 compared to Rs. 160 that Sea Route sells it for, but we were okay considering we weren't going to have too much alcohol.
Now comes the selling point - sea food, and lots of it. Don't be afraid to ask them for dishes which aren't on the menu. If there's a particular cooking style that's only listed for fish, they will do the same with prawns if you ask them to. I especially loved the Prawn Ghee Roast for starters, which we ordered along with a decent Seer Fish tawa fry.
Main course consisted of an excellent combo of Neer Dosa with Chicken Kundapuri; two plates each at 3 pieces per plate should be fine for most people.
I'm especially choosy when it comes to sea food, but I would definitely go here again.
Feels home! Whenever I miss Mangalore, I can visit Sea route! Amazing ambience, service is excellent and good food!! What more one need! 😍
Great place for a mangalorean styled fresh sea food... we had anjal masala fry, prawns ghee roast which were undoubtedly fingerpicking.. chicken lollipop was undercooked though.. Also there was live music with all the old Kannada and Hindi songs which made the place lovely on a Saturday night...
We had celebrated our 13th anniversary in Sea Root, it was a great evening with live music & awesome food, starting with soup, very fresh sea food like lopster ghee roost, crab tandoori & clam sukka.its a memorable day to us.thank u sea root
Amazing food. Great fresh fish, prawns. Even vegetarian food was good. If you dont mind spicy food, ghee roast prawn is worth a try, but is very spicy.
After packed day of meetings, headed for dinner to unwind. We ordered a couple of cocktails and starters to begin with. I must say I was quite surprised with the taste. Chicken pepper was so fiery and spicy, while spicy basil something new. Chicken Hara dhaniya for the main course along with roti was a perfect combination.
The long island iced teas they served were also good indeed. Finishing our dinner on a 'High'.
Casual visit with my office colleagues for lunch ... I felt that the ambience was really impressive.... We have ordered devil potato and baby corn chill for the starters and the main course was veg biryani and Hakka noodles for appetiser long island beach tea, Cosmopolitan and frozen liquid love cocktail n moctil was good but the food was not up to the expectation ... I felt it's overpriced ... Overall experience was good

This place is great! Food here is awesome. Prawns (Ghee Roast) is a must try dish there. There's nothing unique about the ambience but the live music is too good. It's a nice place for family dining.
Ambiance is good. Nice place for family dining. Seafood heaven. Loved the food. Loved the service provided. Valet parking is available, cause the restaurant's parking is in different location. Which is OK. All round good place for a nice evening with family.
This restaurant is on the first floor of some building. It looks shady from outside but have faith take a deep breath and enter the funny looking lift to get yourself into seafood heavens. Food is really really good. I didnt have much. Honey chilly prawns and fish curry and rice. Also a mocktail( forgot the name but tasted like strawberry jelly-just about ok). So the solid food ;) was great. The reason why i am giving less rating is coz the ambience is not that great for a fine dining place and because the rates are really high. I mean the honey chilly prawns was 350bucks but if you wany fresh and not frozen prawns then you have to pay 450 bucks which i found realy steep for a starter. Anywayz it was good experience. Definitely a place to visit with your family.
Been a regular at this place since I moved to Bangalore couple of months ago. This place is a heaven for sea food lover.
Have tried their Chicken ,Mutton and prawn biryani which is quite different from the regular Hyderabadi one popular in Bangalore .
I would recommend this place for sea food lover specially if you are from western coast.Have tried prawns gassi with neer dosa which was awesome, alternatively gassi will go well with steamed rice as well .
We tried prawns masala as well as angel fish which was heavenly delight as it is rare to find such good sea food in Bangalore.Have tasted angel mangalorean Fish curry as well which was awesome too.Definitely a place for sea food lover. They have well stocked bar too and collection of cocktails and mock tails.
Best sea food restaurant with bar attached at roof. All the food tastes best and spicy. Service is quick. Loved their ambiance. Prices are bit costly. No parking facilities available. Have to park on main road.
Fantastic food....extremely good and quick service and a very nice ambience. A very good resto-bar near Mahalakshmi layout. Do visit if ur on this side of the town. On Sundays, they have live music and you can enjoy melodious music along with your dinner. Very courteous staff and wonderful ambience for a chillaxed evening in the weekend.
For sea food this is one of the best places in bangalore.
Located on main road they have a valet parking option, the ambience is good but since it host a bar also the typical dim lights are predominant but u can go just for the lunch n dinner with family also.
Coming to food they make one of the best fish fry so do not miss that.
In main course try the mangalore fish curry with neer Dosa one of the signature dish of this restaurant.
If u r going for other food cuisine the chicken recepies r also good 👍
Overall a nice place for food outing
Visited this place with family. The ambience is good, good hygiene maintained. Staff are friendly but service is very slow. Though we ordered everything at once, we had to wait for longer to get each dish..
Good to try Anjal tawa fry, kane masala fry, and prawn ghee roast. Neer dose and silver fish curry was just fine. Total disappointment with Squid koliwada (which was suggested by staff) and Butter garlic squids. Tried their signature tender coconut souffle and Ragi manni, both were equally good.
Must visit if you want to try all the delicacies of coastal Karnataka. Quick service, yummy tasty food and great hospitality by the staff.
Especially the tender coconut dessert is a must try
a perfect place to relax and enjoy the food !! absolute place for quality food | fresh | tasty | and authentic !
I loved the neer dhosa with chicken curry mangalore style...
ದಿನೇಶ್ helped with the menu !!
it's a must visit !!!! forgot there is a bar tooo !!
Amazing Sea Food!!. Anjal Masal and Pomfret masala cooked under banana leaf wrap are must try. The service was extraordinary and was attended with prompt and courteousness.
The service was just wow, hardly we can find restaurants like this I should say. The staffs were so cordial and humble. Totally happy and satisfied with the food, service, ambience and the vibe.❤️
Prawns butter garlic was really good.. what I feel is they do good sea food but their chicken cooking skills are lacking. Chicken ghee roast was little dry.
Sea route -A perfect pitstop specialised in making authentic Mangalorean style food at Rajajinagar!
Ten on ten, for the neer dosa which is an authentic food of Mangalore. It is the ultimate show stealer here with perfectly roasted thin dosa served along with veg curry. It's surely a must try.
The combo works out pretty well.
Among starters , my picks were - corn tikki and Kurkure masala apart from the usual ghee roast.
Corn tikki won over my taste buds, it had a dominant ginger flavour, along with spicy stuffing and crunchy outside.
Kurkure masala is similar to a veg roll filled with veggies, sprinkled with the right pinch of spices and deep fried in oil, a perfect appetizer to start with.
Dal khichdi and palak rice turned out to be good, especially palak rice was flavorful and can be relished completely along with the raita.
Ambience is pretty and beautiful. Seatings are comfortable and classy.
Overall, Sea route is surely a must try for people who love mangalorean cuisine. If you are a fan of neer dosa, this is definitely a go to place.
Sea Route is Mangalore style restaurant in RajaJi Nagar Bangalore. Service is quick, staff is cordial and prompt. They serve both north Indian and south Indian dishes, but their specialty is south India seafood. We ordered mutton pepper dry which is one of their signature dish and I would recommend it. The Mutton was soft and the taste was good with the right mix of flavors. We also ordered Prawn ghee roast, Chicken Biryani, chicken tandoori kebab and all these had good taste. In my opinion, Crab Butter Garlic was their best serve. It was served in cut pieces, coated with corn flour, fried and tossed with butter garlic giving it a flavorful aroma and taste. Must try if you like seafood.
They serve mocktail and cocktail as well which I felt can be improved both in terms of taste and serving style. Their Cocktail has a strong hint of alcohol which maybe because of low cost liquor. They can either use better liquor brands or use bigger glasses and add more dilutants.
It is located on the first floor, and they have a lift which is good for elderly people. If you are driving in then they have valet parking. Overall a good place to try Mangalore style non-veg food in chic restaurant style setting.
Fantastic food.. most of the ingredients are freshly procured.. taste is good.. excellent service
Service is at its best. If you're looking for North Indian cuisine, this restaurant is really good. A special mention to Janak and Mukesh for their hospitality.
The ambience is good but they could increase room lights a bit more as it seems but dark. The food tastes good. The biryani rice immediately gets heavy on stomach which mostly is due to extra baking soda usage. The waiters behave professional and are courteous.
Taste and quality is definitely the best .. hence this place has been my top choice for coastal food. The rates are nominal.
But was caught by surprise today - Half my palm size Anjal fish was charged 500/- quoting off season charges. This was a lil disappointing.
Overall, good food and experience.
Sundarajan Ramamoorthy

It is our weekend relaxing outlet. Good food, nice and friendly staff. Lately I am having all my business lunch here. Value for the money. Not so expensive. Try Mangalore Neer dosa, Boiled rice and Nungekkai Gravey. Paradise for Non- vegger's. I am a veggie, but my favourite spot. Regds Ram
Nice ghee roast Prawns fry and panner roast, but Natty Koli curry is not nice
