Quirky and quaint. Two words I would use to describe this place. The balcony bar adds to the charm of the place. Another plus point in my opinion is that the staff are constantly on their toes and make for great service. Tried a number of dishes on the menu and everything was up to standard. They also have some fun shooters for a Friday night and some delicious cocktails. Great job guys.

For a big guy with a bigger appetite I've tried quite a few dishes on the menu from the curry fries, chilli garlic mushrooms, zen hen burger, and the peri peri grilled chicken. No complaints so far except that I wish I could've tried the pizza that every one raves about. Maybe on my next visit. Paired with an ice tea and the balcony view on 100ft road makes for a great get together with my colleagues.

A lovely place in the party spot of Indiranagar with a balcony seating overlooking the Great Bangalore weather. Barebones serves some great grub and drinks. I tried the Jhinga Bhel (Prawns Bhel) which is the typical Mumbai Bhel you have in local trains with a prawn twist. It's a great idea and I loved the concept. I also had chicken nachos which were crisp and had generous pieces of chicken in it. A beer to add some shine. The service was quick, friendly and courteous. It was beautiful on a Monday night, I'm hence sure it's incredible on weekends. Must visit.

My visit to Barebones was truly an amazing nigh, it is a combination of good people and good food and good ambiance that culminates into a good evening.
This place actually took me by surprise. Not only did I enjoy the ambiance but the food was insanely delicious!

Have entered Barebones on a Wednesday night around 8PM. A table was reserved for me as I have already done the booking via dineout. The balcony area have been occupied with some people and no crows seen inside as well.
I had been provided with a non balcony seat and it was nearer to the sports screening which I liked. Staffs were polite and very attentive all the time. I have ordered "Mutton Shank With Mashed Potatoes & Veggies" which was a main course. It took around 15 minutes and I was presented with an amazing tasteful dish. I loved it to the core. Mutton was cooked with perfection as it retained with the jucinees and softness. The sauce, mashed potatoes and veggies were also lipsmacking!!
At around 9.30 while I was leaving, the place started beefing up and almost all the tables were occupied. It's a good place and a must try for a pleasant evening !

Barebones is a good hangout place. It has a good mix of both Indian and Continental dishes. Peanut Masala is a must try. The also serve a wide range of beverages.
Beautiful place to hang out with friends. We ordered a lot of stuff. Whiskey sour cocktail is highly recommended in cocktails. Never order Singapore Sling (it is overpriced for the taste, it felt like a normal sugary mocktail). Thatβs why we did not order any other cocktails. However none of the food items that we ordered disappointed us. Chicken lasooni tikka, bacon wrapped prawns, chicken nachos, chilly chicken, different varieties of pizzas tasted really good. Price is also quite decent. But it would be great if they can change their seating arrangements. Itβs either bar stools or benches ( very limited back rest seats). So it is quite uncomfortable to sit for a long time. But would recommend this place for their service and food.

I went a week before to this place, i had pitcher beer,nachoes are so good that there taste is still in my tip of my tounge. Panner butter Masala taste so good, if i get chance I'll visit this again.

Barebones is a two storey bar/restaurant, the ground floor is mainly for non smoking area. Once you go upstairs, itβs a different vibes and very cool ambiance and bar. They even have a table tennis π and foosball to play just in case you wanna take a break from your food or drink. They have different types of seatings setup too.
Iβm a teetotaller, so enjoyed my mocktail and my friends enjoyed their cocktails, shots and beer.
In food, the chicken 65 was good, I love love the pork in a blanket, the chicken tangdi was delicious.
The pizza was amazing and crust was good.
I did try the paneer too and taste amazing.
In main course, I love their lamb shank, the meat was tender and tasty.
In desserts, the chocolate bomb is the bomb indeed! The Gulab jamun was soft and not over sweet and I enjoyed it thoroughly.
Love the food and experience in this place, especially the staff were amazing and so friendly and kind. Really like to mention Manju and yogesh cause they know how to take care of the customers and to meet the need of their palate.

Barebones is a beautiful balcony bar located in the heart Indiranagar. Visited the outlet on a Thursday evening and was surprised to find it quite crowded for a weekday. It's a two storey building and quite spacious to fit in big crowds. The balcony seats are my personal favourite though! So blissful to look out and sip your favourite cocktail, no?
Apart from the vibe which is laid back and fun, the pub serves the most impressive array of cocktails and food.
Here are some of the colorful and tasty cocktails and lip smacking food we tried:
β’Burning My Heart- amazing (SPICY) vodka based cocktail with actual chilli in the drink.
β’ Chicken 65- typical Andhra style chicken, which was flavourful and spicy.
β’ Butter garlic Prawns- so tasty!
β’ Paneer steak with rice- never thought a vegetarian steak could taste so good!!
β’ Lamb Shank with mash potatoes and grilled veggies- so tender... almost melted in my mouth. β’ Paneer tikka- super moist, well cooked. Loved it.
β’ a round of tequila shots - just the party mood setter. π
β’ tangdi kebab- huge pieces(leg) of marinated meat when slow cooked results in this goodness. Delicious!
β’Pigs in a blanket- one of the based in the city. Cooked to perfection.

For dessert we tried the Gulaab jamun, choco lava cake, brownie with ice cream ...pretty basic but yummy.
Barebones also has a lot of recreational games on the first floor like TT, fooseball etc so enjoying a game over a glass of beer is a great option here.
The chef took personal care and came out to speak to us about the food and to take feedback which I personally think is very rare.
Our servers for the night Manjunath and Yogesh were prompt in their service, very soft spoken and knowledgeable of the menu!

It is an open place bar so you can smoke in your table only.
On that day my booking in Jook Taproom is cancelled by the restaurant and we want to have food and drinks very badly that day do we started exploring in indiranagar we got to see this place and immediately it gives a good impression to us.
So, we entered there and ordered beer and chicken wings those and very good in taste and reasonable in price regarding the quantity they provided.
In drinks we also tried some of there special cocktails and beer cocktails also those and very good and alcohol consistency on those cocktails is very good.
Now come to food, we ordered crispy mushroom in manchurian sauce, stuffed mushroom, jerk chicken and chili garlic prawn, every dish has good quantity and taste is also very good.
I recommend everyone to try this place you will not get disappointed and i want to visit this place again.

I would recommend this for a simple yet pleasant few drinks and food with your friends. Totally worth! Don't look at negative reviews, few people always find it hard to look at things as they are and enjoy π
It's an excellent place. The service is impeccable. We were a group of 20 people and all of us were looked after very well. The food was great. The cocktails were nice. They serve Toit beers too. And the chicken kebabs were excellent. And in the end they gave us a 10% discount too!
Had dinner from here on a weekday, so there was less crowd. The ambience is really nice, and staff was quick to respond. They had open and under shade seating options, but number of seats are limited. Food was good for the price. Also they had IPL matches on screen so we could enjoy the matches while having food. Overall a good budget friendly option in the area.

Nice place to hangout with friends, place is not very big but is structured to accommodate decent crowd.
When we visited it was bollywood night and they were playing some nice music which went well with the mood, food and drinks..
Their draught beer tasted much better than few other more hyped places..
Overall, good place to visit with not too heavy on pocket..I recommend this place
Had a night out at this place last week and we liked the place. It has open and under shade both options available. It was not too crowded.
We liked the food, quantity and quality were good. Taste was good too.
Drinks were served promptly, food took a bit longer but that was alright considering it was a packed night for them.
Overall a nice place to have good food and spend some relaxing time.
On another note, the person who was roaming around checking all the tables and sometimes talking to customers, seemed like a teacher guarding exam hall, lol.
The Balcony Bar is a good place to chill out with friends and family. It is usually not too crowded and the music is not too loud which is a great advantage.

This place is an obvious alternative when we dont get place in Toit. They serve same beer which we get in Toit and the atmosphere is decent enough.
Food is also good and can definitely try once if you are in a long wait for Toit brew pub.
Pleasantly surprised. Good bar, great atmosphere. Low music so easier to converse. Food is OK. Parking is a nightmare. But a great location. Try it once for an evening with your inner circle.
