A very old restaurant with a history of 20+ years. Know for its unique service of serving at the car as well as table service . Have been visited this after a long gap of 14 years. They maintain the same standards of taste and quality . Usually busy after 9am every day. Know for regular customers from race course, secretariat, offices .

Came here for the masala dosa and I wasn't disappointed with the quick visit. I'm pretty sure this place is crowded most of the time. Started off with a muskmelon juice & it was okish. Then with the masala dosa which took its own sweet time to arrive. The dosa here is thin & very crispy. It's quite different from the usual Udupi style dosa. The chutney had a creamy texture & went well with the dosa. Also had the dip Vada which was good & nothing to complain about. And finally ended with a filter coffee which was great.

Very busy, and popular restaurant with office goers and general public. Mysore masala dosa is one of the best I ever had. It took some time to take order and serve, but the wait was worth it. Parking at the front is scarce, and saw people waiting for 10-15 minutes just to park the car - issue is how the cars are arranged. Many sections in the restaurant, and ample space. Restrooms and wash basins are adequately clean.

42 Years old Restaurant which has become a legend, known for the food along with lot many reasons like landmark, old times adda, n so on... Amazing food... Especially Masala Dosa and Coffee. I bet no one will come disheartened with these two at the least... Also, decent buffet in the noon for those who want to have variety of good food at a resonable cost in a location like this - where not many options available unless u are ready to travel 2-3 kms. I would say must to visit if u love dosa/coffee. Everyday there will be specially made sweets available for that particular day. U can find a variety of crowd on any given day. People who work in and around Vidhana/Vikasa Soudha are the regular ones. Decent wait time of 10-15 mins depending on what time of the day u visit. Give it a try once... 👍

The Restaurant is also called Samrat Chalukya Mini... In prime location and a place where all of us keep passing by. Tasted Badam Halwa, which was quite good. And, also ordered Rawa Idly. The restaurant is famous for Masala Dosa, for which we have to wait for 1 hour. Last few days for restaurant being open.

Undoubtedly the best masala dose. It is crispy and the color is too bright XD The amount of rice item they give is too filling. I had ordered ghee rice too which was okay.

Disappointed to know that South Indian meals are not served and instead North Indian is offered This Restaurant was a land mark in Bangalore for good ,tasty ,quality food especially Masala dosa , South Indian meals served hot hot . Also famous was Anna sambar/ rasam which now is obsolete . Our visit was a waste , we had to eat what was available utter disappointment

An entirely different variety of Masala Dosa, unlike nothing you've had before! Butter is added WHILE making the Dosa, so it has a different texture. And it's pretty filling, so think twice before ordering another item. Their chats are also decent.

This is a vintage Bengaluru restaurant which has lots of nostalgia attached to it. I usually love to go to this place for early morning breakfast. Its serves very tasty foods with authentic Namma Bengaluru ambience. You can find people from all age groups here chitchatting, reading newspaper, meeting friends, bringing family and lot more. This hotel very well maintains the sanctity of Old Bengaluru. Their Filter Coffee is amazing and worth the price. Given the brand and the location, it is quite pricey but more than the food, the experience is worth every penny. It has ample space for parking usually filled with politicians and well known people since it is very closer to Raj Bhavan and Vidhana Soudha(Karnataka Assembly) If you are Namma Bengaluru localite or if you miss the old charming Bengaluru, step in to ths restaurant which takes you back to Namma Hale Bengaluru. I am posting a picture of Chow Chow Baath from this place since many food items are already flaunted on Google Do visit here, early morning to enjoy Bengaluru chilling weather by sipping their coffee, thank me later😉
