This is really an amazing place and I was surprised that I hadn't known about it earlier. Absolutely delicious food, great ambience, great service, and located in an easy to reach and beautiful part of Bangalore. We really like the Awadhi cuisine and so this place was a great find. Absolutely enjoyed all items we ordered, and some of them were the best I had ever had - Kakori kebab in particular. Highly recommend at least these: Tamater dhaniya shorba, Kakori kebab, Murg tikka mirza hasnoo, and lamb biryani. Our server (Aabid) was also very friendly and helpful in suggesting dishes.
This place is a hidden gem in the locality of vasant nagar. The place appears to be like an old heritage house converted to restaurant and they have retained the essence of the place. The ambience is tailored perfectly to suit the cuisines. Though the entrance to the restaurant is not clearly visible on the road, once you enter the place it literally transports you to another place, another era - again perfectly tailored to complement the cuisines to the max limit.
It also has a central courtyard which goes well with the place and enhances the dining experience.
The tamatar dhaniya shorba was simply heavenly and is a recommended dish for elderly people.
The main course, we ordered palak paneer and bharta, both were classic and tasted very good. I especially loved the presentation of these two main course. The breads were plain parantha and what was surprising was the lehsuni naan was very thin and made it crispy. I would definitely recommend it.
Overall it was an amazing fine dine with perfect ambience to spend some quality time with family.
Had chhach, galauto kabab, sur murg tilka, sheermal, laal maas, tariwala chicken, warqi parantha, dum ghost biryani, phirni and shahi tukda
As name suggest, this was actually a FEAST!!
Everything from ambience, service, taste, food quality is amazing. 5/5
