Went for Poila Baisakh special buffet. The spread was lavish and took us through the streets of Kolkata.
Food:
The food included Bengali cuisine along with Kolkata special Biriyani and Chinese. The street food stalls included Ghugni, chats, rolls, phuchkas, Chops, just to name a few. Food was tasty and worth the occasion. Huge variety of desserts, with almost 8 variety of Rasgullas.
Ambiance:
Soft Bengali music and staffs clad in Dhoti Punjabi and Laal Par sari took us 2000 km back to Kolkata.
Loved the event and thanks for the initiative.
This place is best for midnight cravings and a Lifesaver especially the lamb biryani woww just amazing. Service is good when maneesh is around
Very good ambience and quick service , the pasta was so yummy , the mocktails had some syrup taste and it dint taste dat great , pizza and chilly chicken was good the chicken was so soft and crispy . . . It was overall a good experience

Varieties that matters. They had different varieties of food that we had not tasted in other restaurants.
Soups : congani and japanese soup, you have addons to customise your soup.
Live counters : dosa and omelette, also had pancakes.
There was varieties of food and everything was at its perk of taste.
They had strawberry milkshake and many lassis and smoothies. Watermelon juice was also good.
Health drink was spinach juice.
Food had sausages eggs potatoes vadas rice sambar baked beans organic rice poached fish sandwiches semiya etc.
Everything mentioned above are the must try items.
We were also served with the best nutella and banana pancakes. Must try the pancakes here.
The keera vada was out of the blue.
4 types of fruits and also detox water was served.
The staffs were friendly and welcoming.
They were very professional and handled it well.
The ambience was a. Bit over crowded but we had an option to have poolside buffet.

The breakfast and dinner served here has a variety of dishes and also not like the usual complimentary stay breakfast taste, the food tasted really good and i was wondering what to eat and what not to as all were cooked best.
The different types of yogurt placed were the highlight for me as i am a yogurt person. Also the varieties like :
Idli, Dosa, Pastries, Poha, Upma, Varieties of chutneys, Puri, Paratha, Curd rice etc..
Must visit this place when you are around brigade road and nearby.

A nice quite place to have dinner. Not very flashy or crowded. Food is decent and so is the ambience. Good enough for family. Staffs are polite and have heard that the hotel is also good for stays.

Wonderful experience with great service but I prefer some person to be along the host so that they don’t keep moving around every time if at all they need something or if they have to pay the cheque.
Went there for a Sunday brunch last weekend. I really liked the ambiance of the place - quiet setting and there is a pool area right next to the restaurant which the kids really enjoyed. We oped for the lunch (with alcoholic drinks) - variety of drinks that is included can be increased, especially would suggest including wine as one option. Wide spread of food, with a kids corner (fries, mini burgers, sandwich etc). Plethora of deserts too to feast upon. Overall a good experience.
Loved the ambience of this place. We booked one of the poolside tables and it was exactly how we wanted it. The buffet was also great! I will definitely recommend this place for a great Dinner Date😍
Breakfast here is good. They have variety of options in breakfast as buffet breakfast is set. Staff here is also courtieous and polite. Its a good option for breakfast with your friends or family ones.

Luxurious stay with excellent management and maintenance. Food served was really hygienic and nicely done. A very satisfied experience there.
After work, i mean night shift, hungry time. Wanted to kill the hunger with my friends. Saw this to be open at 5am. Thought we should try. We ordered chicken biryani, veg sandwich and Bolognese, these were the only ones available at that time with few other common dishes. The taste, ambience, service, very impressed..

Well, please ignore the chaos on my plate. Anybody can tell it was a buffet as I took little bit of everything to taste in two shifts😀 So there were many options from South Indian to Continental. I liked the taste of almost everything except for some American dishes which I had not tried previously so I can’t judge those. The staff is courteous. I think you won’t regret having the breakfast here with a good view of poolside.
This is a very beautiful place with pool side service.
It's also available for small party...We ordered ciabatta, fish n chips, lamb scewers, and 1 apple tart..its all wel flavored but lil on the higher side for the quantity. Still a place to visit...nice ambiance in between ☺.. (it's a late review)
Scrumptious lip smacking food with a great atmosphere and good service. Recommend it. The buffet is worth a mention with a wide variety of dishes ranging from Italian to Chinese to Indian.
I've been a lover of their Sunday brunch for 3 years now. The brunch has a great food spread with delicious starters to accompany the lovely cocktails. The pool side is a lovely place to sit on the occasions that they are not booked by a private party. The salads are made well and usually people assume are the easiest to make whilst a lot of effort for combinations is needed. A must visit if your are looking for a lovely calm Sunday brunch.
You want to have a lunch in a quiet place, then you are looking at one of the right places. This restaurant is pretty and has a very nice ambiance. The restaurant is next to the pool and it is beautiful. the food was not the best, it was the experience which was good. There was a good spread of desserts and the food was presented really well.

It is a 24/7 restaurant and true to its name it was fully functional at 2:00 AM in the night. They seated us at pool side and brought lovely tea lights for the illumination. We ordered their chocolate cake dessert. Their serving was large and priced well. I found it a bit too sweet for my palate. Later I misplaced the receipt and required a copy of it. Mantosh, the executive here was very helpful in getting me a copy of it when I asked for a few days later. Lovely experience
One of the pretty poolside places I have been to in Bangalore. Had been there for a private party and it was a blast!!! Beautiful ambiance, lovely weather that made the place even serene and to top it off was the mouth-watering food.
The buffet place was elaborately laid with Indian - Italian and European dishes. The desserts counter was the most crowded though. Kids or old couples all found something to satisfy their sweet tooth. Will definitely visit again.

One of the luxurious hotel I've been, the Chancery pavillion. The location is in residency road, the main road. Valet parking is available, a big grand entrance gave me a wow feeling. About the hotel no words to say. Absolutely stunning. The hotel is very big, in the entrance itself I saw the big french style bar counter, comfortable sofas to relax.
The buffet was too good, enjoyed every bite. The best time to visit Chancery pavillion is in the night. Having dinner in the pool side is something classy.

I had a wonderful experience over all.
Went for a wine n dine experience on our wedding anniversary. We went for the dinner buffet. I went there several times a few years back from my company for corporate meetings. Food was delicious every time. So I had great expectations this time as well. But to my surprise, food was not as good as before. Some of the dishes were cold, they did not even bother to heat it, live counter was closed and some dishes were bland. We went on a weekday. So may be there food quality wasn't great but what ever it is, a hotel of that standard should have better quality of food. Not many people were there to dine and some people were just staring at me as if they never saw any lady wearing any western outfit! I should have given 3 star but rating 3.5 as we had some beautiful snaps taken there which will serve as great memories.
Have been here for several occasions.. 3 marriages, family gathering and for our marriage anniversary.. Have explored every corner during our stay for couple of days, have tried all restorent and almost all the menu during the stay.. Used to enjoy the food earlier, though not as good as then now, things can be improved..
Dropped in to have a sandwich. It was lovely and quick service by the waiters. Not to forget service with smile. The salad which was accompament of sandwich was bit sour. Though size of meal was great. I loved it and would recommend to the all tourists.

1. Ambience - 4.5/5 - a restaurant next to the pool, you can eat in peace of mind

This was a regular haunt for my gang of friends for some time. The Sunday brunch here is nice with a view to the pool (seated inside), decent spread, and they also had some fun activities, both for kids n grown ups. There was even free astrology and some magic at the table. The astrologer got my goat by harping on my single status whereas the young magician became part of our gang for a while till he moved out of India 😁 Ithaca was also good for a coffee catch up with friends due to central location and for birthday cake cutting at midnight as it was one of the few places open (5 stars). Not great coffee but overall good place.
You come from the ground floor and take the stairs down to this place which is an open floor below. Kind of a different approach to this restaurant.
Based on the ground floor of the Chancery Pavilion on Residency Road the look and feel of this restaurant is very contemporary and makes you feel right at home.
The staff is very pleasant and at your service with a smile. While this trip was a short one for a quick coffee and beer, the service bowled me over. Next visit is going to be a hogging one for sure.

The ambience is good..it's a quiet place with both indoor and pool side seatings. When we visited to celebrate my birthday, we were not allowed to enter the pool side because of some private party.
Coming to the buffet, the soup they served at our table was too salty and all of us had asked to take it back. The variety of starters and main course are good. The quality of food is also decent. We also tried live counter but didn't meet our expectations. The celebration cake was nice. Overall a good place to spend time with family.
The chancery pavilion is a good place to host a birthday party, business meet, and some family occasions. Pretty expensive but nothing to complain as they have so much to offer. Food is up to the mark, good ambience especially the pool side. Dine service on the pool side is extravagant..
People reading this review please do keep in mind that I am a vegan. I went to Ithaca for Saturday lunch and loved it. Though the buffet spread is not very elaborate, but almost all the items were very tasty, Especially Malai koftas were too good. Nice ambiance, not very crowded. and good value for money.

We recently went here for a Sunday brunch with friends and it was a pleasant experience. We sat close to the pool which was a nice spot. The spread was decent and everything tasted good.
Goods:
1. The food was nice. Especially the tandoor items and live Indian Chaat counter. The one item which blew our minds was the Almond-Fig pudding. It was out of this world.
2. The sitting arrangement next to the pool was very relaxing. The weather also helped with not being too sunny and a cool breeze throughout the day.
3. The staff was very courteous and attentive.
4. It wasn't too crowded which is a plus.
Bads:
1. Although the decor was nice but we felt the table cloth and other things could have been better. To be frank, the table cloth didn't look like it belonged in a 5-star hotel.
2. The table was shaky and the staff did their best in making it better for us. But anyhow didn't expect to see that in such a hotel.
3. I would really suggest waxing the furniture as it would completely lift the look of your outdoor area.
Overall it was a very pleasant experience. I might have been a little too harsh on the furniture and decor here. But it is one of the most value for money Brunches I have had in some time. Definitely recommend it to people who are looking for a lazy and quiet lunch dates with their friends.

Went to Ithaca for the Sunday brunch. The spread was really good and special mention for the dessert counter. The starters were also good and had variety like Italian, Mexican, Chinese and Indian. The kababs were really good. Service was ok and can be improved upon. Easy on the pocket. Will surely visit again.
Raid their counters laden with food from all parts of the globe. Everything from dim sums to grills, kebabs, chaats and dosas vie for your attention. A trip their dessert bar with over 15 varieties of sweet somethings is also well-warranted. A live band and the turquoise waters of their swimming pool keep you company as you brunch away.
lazy sunday brunch... pool side, music (not too loud), friends, amazing food and alcohol, friendly staff... less and decent crowd ....what more do you want from this place i just love it

Ambience- We chose a sunny day so the poolside was hot, but minus that its a great setting for a evening dinner date or a time out with family (lil kids have a blast near the poolside!). Spread is limited & the food overall is average if you leave out the chaat/street food stuff. Its not the best choice if you enjoy non veg given the limited options.
Service- Slow, but well mannered
Food and service both were average. I ordered a vegetable kathi roll which was not very good and a cold coffee that had lot of sugar in it. My overall experience was not pleasing:(

Ithaca was in my list since long and I finally had been for a sunday brunch .. The ambience is super cool. We had booked our table at pool side. It was so airy and cozy 😘 The food was really tasty especially the desserts 🍨🍧🍰🍩 but starters were bit low, can say ok ok type.

Chancery pavilion, Bangalore, I stayed in this hotel for 12 hours and booked hotel room through 6hourly.com. Rooms were very big, neat & clean, very good interior with nice pool view. staff was very helpful, services were also elegant. Complementary buffet was awesome. good locale and over all a very good place to stay. Lovely restaurant. Amazing food. Really enjoyed my breakfast here, by the side of the swimming pool. Amazing service by staff especially Priya who did her best to see to our needs and make us comfortable. 5 stars for Ithaca, 10 stars for Priya.
The buffet breakfast at this place is awesome. One has n number of options in menu, right from healthiest sprouts, fruits, dry fruits to awesome north and south Indian breakfast items along with some continental food. They've live counters having waffle, pan cakes, dosas, omelette etc.. The place has a pool near by making ambience awesome.
Mr Jayanta is a very nice host, I was very much impressed by his promptness in attending the guest request and fulling them.
Sareena and Priya were extremely kind and courteous in their service. Helped us in ordering the perfect meal. Everything was perfect from ambience to service to quality of food. Would recommend this place to anybody.

Have been here multiple times mostly for business travel and my experience has been pleasant always.
Serena, Palak and Priya were the hospitality attenders whom I've been meeting and greeting multiple times.
They bear this consistent smile and always serve everyone with their smiles in addition to the food.
The food too happens to be good!
Breakfast was too good. Servers named Priya and Latha were so approachable. I really appreciate their effort. Was so kind and had the warm smile through out. Would really rate them very high and might visit the place again
The Food and Service facilities were absolutely excellent and it went with a greater ease with the help and efforts of the staff members such as Priya and more.
The Atmosphere was actually a decent and desired one because of the exposure of Sunlight and Moonlight during the day and night respectively.
