Recently I visited this place with my colleagues after work. We had the Paneer Tikka Masala. The paneer was grilled with tandoor spices and the gravy was very spicy, which is the speciality of the dish. The Makhanwala Paneer was also very tasty. The gravy was rich in tomato puree, cream and butter. The Paneer was soft and of good quality. The Tandoori Murg was very good. The chicken was soft and fleshy and was a bit spicy. The ambience was also very good.
Ambience is good, nice music relaxing place, delicious punjabi food, really great service.

Heard a lot about this outlet about their food, ambience. So i decided to spend my weekend on the same outlet.
After watching both negative and positive review decided to try once.Frankly saying it was worth.Ambience was very cool.
Service was excellent and the food was too excellent.
We ordered naan served with paneer lababdar and fresh vegetable raita.
Everything was so delicious that we end up ordering more.
This place deserve too many visit.once you visit you will definitely enjoy.
Punjabi times has multiple outlets and they specialise in Punjabi food. You can opt for buffet or ala carte. We chose buffet, the spread was decent with 4 veg and 4 non veg starters to choose from and similar varities for rest of the course. The taste was really good but it's not just Punjabi but everything North Indian people might like. Service was poor, server served us rotis that weren't warm enough.

Had a wonderful meal at this restaurant with family..
Really liked the ambiance inside..
We went here for lunch and all the dishes served was really nice.. really liked the various variety of north Indian and Punjabi that were served.. the various dishes in the non veg sections was also really tasty..
Overall had a really good time..
We ate a boatload at this place. I'd totally recommend the amritsari kulcha, naan and aloo paratha, along with their achari fish kabab and the tawa mixed veggies starter. And the Lassi! Of the chef's recommendations, try the nalli gosht but pass on the sarson da saag because it tastes like you slurped an entire stick of butter. There was live music, quite nostalgic renditions of old Hindi songs, that were very easy to sing along to. The kitschy collages on the walls also made it feel homely, but the outside doesn't look inviting at all. I'm glad my friends convinced me to walk in to this place, because I wouldn't have otherwise, it looks so shabby.
Punjabi Times is a delight for every die hard North Indian cuisine fan. The ambience takes you back to the authentic Punjabi household.
The staff is courteous.
We started the meal with Tamatar Dhaniya Shorba which was delicious. Further we ordered Punjabi Chicken curry and Naan. It was a proportionate gravy with right blend of spices.
Finally, we tried gajar halwa for the dessert and completed our meal.
The evening was spent well and special thanks to the live music which augmented the serenity of the ambience.
The place is beautiful with punjabi ambience. The music is good moslty bollywood and nice collection. Ordered a chicken starter. It was south indian flavoured chicken which was okay. The service is good. Nice place to hangout and have a peaceful time-out.

Such a vibrant place it is.
Punjabi looks as well as punjabi vibes!
Great ambience and hospitality.
One of the best places in Bangalore that serves North Indian food. There are many options for vegetarians and Non-vegitarians. The food served is literally lip-smaking.
I would highly recommended this place if you're living or visiting Bangalore.
A very good place for casual dining and authentic North Indian food.
The food quality is good and there is a variety in the menu. The ambience is quite creative and the live music in the evening adds to the soothing nature of the restaurant. Good for an enjoyable evening with friends/family topped up with good food, soothing ambience and Retro Bollywood Live Music... if that's what you are looking for...
Such a vibrant place it is!! This place has some punjabi vibes also and have great ambiance . We ordered few things and found them extremely good and yummy.
We tried pandeer tikka masala, khumbh dilwale and butter paratha and everything had a good quantity and quality. The Price was little high according to me but it won't get much when the food is tasty.
Will surely visit again..
A friend suggested me this place to visit when i am in bangalore and i was mesmerized when i entered the place. It was so beautiful . Interiors are just amazing. Had Raseeley dum aloo made in tomato gravy, Dal makhni is the best here. creamy buttery dal and amritsari karelee. In breads had amritsari kulcha. So soft and stuffed . Badami rabdi is the best to have here. Yummy and great in taste. Sweetened to perfection and looks awesome.
Such a vibrant place it is! Punjabi look as well as punjabi vibes.Great ambience and great hospitality.Ordered a few things here and found them extremely yummy and quality was so good.
1) tamatar dhanyia ka shorba- typical shorba with such fine flavours of tomato and coriander. It was very tangy and great to have in apetizers. Not at all on spicy side.
2) kumbh dilwale -- fried mushrooms with paneer stuffing. Very crsipy and crunchy in taste and had that tandoori smoky flavour in every bite.
3) paneer tikka masala with some plain naan - i liked the paneer tikka masala sabzi. It had all punjabi spices and well cooked.Soft paneer cooked well with veggies and naan were good soft and fresh.
Not to forget- their quanity- they had very decent good amount of quantity for every item.
Love it!!! Will visit again!
The outlet is one of the best place to experience good quality food specially there butter chicken and lassi and I must say the taste is very good and staff was also very friendly and service was fast..
To me this is one of the finest punjabi cuisine serving place in bangalore and the dal makhni here gets me everytime. A must visit place in town if anyone is looking to try some north indian food.
I order through here malai chap
They have the best chap in geeta colony
It was really amazing
Quality and packaging of food just took my heart
Loved it
I must recommend you all to visit here pnce
My points 10/10
I have been to this place almost 10 times. It produces consistently tasty food at a reasonable price, with decent ambience. Almost everything that I've tried over here has been great. Do try the masala papad, rumali roti and mango milk shake over here. It also has live music: a gentleman sings amazing old Bollywood numbers that you can't help grooving along to.

We were a group of 11 friends visited this place for dinner on Friday evening. The place was jam-packed by 8p.m. As soon as you enter this place it gives you a desi vibes the wall decors talks about authentic Punjabi dhols, Bhangra dance posters ceilings made of bangles - The Ambience was perfect the name. The next thing I noticed was the Live singing, allowed all of us to indulge in our retro hindi romantic tracks. Not to forget the places offers alcohol along with some delicious food. I mean what more can be asked. Food, Drinks, Friends and mesmerising music - The place is one hell of a fun package.
Below are some of the things we tried. Let's see if its Yayyy or Nahhh
Drinks 8/10 We tried Panna twist which was the drink of the day Gin based cocktail
Beer ice tea - was just perfect combo of ice tea and beer, Mojito which is good and Mai tai#3 which was very strong and did not work for me. You can request the staff to alter your drink as per your desire. Black Russian Kahlua based drink which was my second fav
Food 9/10 -Β We tried Aalu Makkai Sev Di Tikki , Paneer tikka, Veg Seekh, Pudina Chilli Murg, Ghost Taka tak , Tawa Jhanegee Prawns and Amritsari machhi. I not a big fan of mutton but I loved the mutton dishes and the Machhi. I felt the chicken starters are bit out of the place. In Main Course, Dal Makhani and Kulchas were soft and delicious
Desserts 8/10 - Gulab Jamun with Rabdi , Matka Kulfi , Shahi Tukda , Gajar ka Halwa were good to taste. If i have to pick one I could choose the Kulfi

Visited this place last Friday for dinner and quite liked it. The ambience was quite calm and while there was lighting, it was slightly on the dim side. One thing that I loved was the live music with the theme of old Hindi songs. That was so comforting and once we were 2-3 drinks down, made for a great atmosphere. In terms of food and drinks, some items are really good. In fact, their cocktails are quite strong and served completely Punjabi style! That being said, the following section gives a brief description of all the items that I tried:
For drinks I tried:
Mojito (8/10) - One drink that I order by default everywhere, this was decent. It was nice and refreshing, but I'd have loved it to be just a little more sweet.
Panna Twist (9/10) - Probably the best cocktail they had, this had mango panna served with Gin as base. It had everything added in the perfect amount, and it was tough to keep the glass down. Savoured every sip of this delicious and slightly tangy cocktail.
Black Russian (8.5/10) - This had a mix of liquors, of which Kahlua is what I remember. Again, slightly strong but great tasting. A must order if you like coffee like flavours.
For food I tried:
Aalu Makkai Sev Di Tikki (8/10) - A great option for the vegetarians, this was basically potatoes and corn mashed together and fried with crispy sev on the outside. The sev in fact gave an amazingly perfect crispy texture on the outside. Taste wise it lacked a bit in terms of tang and spiciness but could be made up by pairing it with some nice mint chutney.
Pudina Chutney Paneer (8.5/10) - This was quite nice as the paneer used was soft. I liked the mint chutney coating on the paneer which added a nice flavor. It was grilled very well and had that slightly charred flavor which balanced the dish very well.
Gosht Tawa Fry (8.5/10) - Loved the masala of this mutton starter. It had a nice mix of spicy and tanginess and went very well with drinks. The mutton pieces were nice and succulent.
Amritsari Chatpati Macchi (8.5/10) - Crispy fried fish sprinkled with a generous amount of chaat masala, this is always a hit. It was moist inside and just hit the spot perfectly.
Pudina Chilli Murg (8/10) - This was on the spicy side, and majorly had flavor of green chilies. I felt it could have had a slight more flavor of mint to give it that balance. Overall, a great option as a starter as the chicken pieces were nicely cooked.
Amritsari Chhole Kulche Sizzler (8.5/10) - This was a really nice starter. It was a nice twist on the traditional chhole kulche and I loved the chhole. The kulche were slightly chewy, but overall the combination was amazing.
For desserts I tried:
Kulfi (8/10) - This was a nice way to end the meal. Not the best kulfi I've had, but good enough to end the meal on a high. It was quite creamy, and had some malai put over it, that added that increased richness which we loved.
Shahi Tukda (8.5/10) - One dessert that I absolutely adore, and this was very nice here too. The bread was nicely fried and loaded in sugar syrup. The rabdi was nice and perfect in consistency.
Overall, it's a nice place, especially for families to come and dine at. Even for those people who get free at work late, this is a nice place if you want to have a nice North Indian meal and a couple of drinks. The cocktails are really nice and will definitely get you tipsy, while the meal will accompany them well ensuring that you have a nice time.
Food ...3.5
service..3.5
Ambience 4.5
Food is ok Service also ok Ambience good starter serve on the table because starter is not hot thank you for team
If you want a Fine Dine experience in a Dhaba like ambience, then this is the place to be. The interiors are colourful and the seating is comfortable. Service is quick and waiters are quite attentive, helpful and polite too. We tried a couple of starters and something that stood out was Aloo Makkai Sev Tikki. The Haryali Paneer and cheese balls was good too. For main course we tried Amritsari Chole Sizzler, Roti And Paneer and Veg Biryani all good. Their mocktails are unique and Desserts are limited but nice. I recommend this place for authentic North Indian food.

**Cons:**
* Prices can be a bit high

Overall, I would give Punjabi Times a rating of 4 out of 5 stars. It is a great place to enjoy a delicious meal with friends or family.
More than food I really like the atmosphere proper authentic punjab feeling and while you are having your food listening to an amazing singer they have their own singer who sings most of the old songs which will definitely take you back to the memories sitting arrangements are also amazing
The service was slow, but that could be because we arrived early. It was nearly full by the time we left. Karaoke was being performed live. The singer was excellent. He knew the songs extremely well, and we thoroughly enjoyed all of the legendary songs from the 80s that he sang. The main course was fine. The starter and dessert were both delicious. However, we enjoyed the evening because of the ambiance, particularly the live music.
Great food at reasonable rates for the quantity and quality. Service times can be a bit high during peak hours.
- Experience:
The preparation time however, is high and the billing etc was quick.
- Product pricing and quality -
The prices are reasonable for the quantity and quality of food served. You can expect to spend around βΉ1200 for 2. I personally love the taste of their food for a long time.
- Space -
There is sufficient seating space available at the outlet.
- Ambiance -
The place has moderately cool lighting and is overall pretty aesthetic.
- Crowd -
The place was lightly crowded around 8 pm on weekends.
- Ease of access:
- Navigation accuracy -
The navigation was accurate via Maps but the rerouting is extensive if a turn is missed.
- Route preference -
There are multiple ways to arrive at the location and Maps can be trusted on most of the conditions.
- Wheelchair accessibility -
This place is not wheelchair accessible.
- Parking space -
Only roadside parking is available at the owner's risk, but that's the case with most places around this area.
Nice spot if you are looking for Punjabi / North Indian food along with drinks. Hearing the name we will think that it is a restaurant only but it is also included with drinks to and actually it is a resto bar. I ordered Mutton biryani, egg biryani, butter roti and panneer burji, chocolate brownie with icecream. All items were really good. Try this spot if you are traveling through Bellandhur- KR puram. Two wheeler parking is available and did no notice a dedicated parking space for cars/ big vehicles. This restaurant is just above Tipsy bull. Do try it and let me know your reviews and comments. Thanks!
This is a good restaurant to eat and savor North Indian food. And this had to be that go to restaurant for North Indian food of you live in Green Glen, Bellandur, or Iblur. The food is tasty. We ordered chicken manchow soup, mutton Rogan Josh, and chicken patiala. All were delicious and amazing. The prices are also commensurate to the amount they bring. Only thing I felt like was their meat pieces are small when compared to other restaurants like Dhaba Estd. 1986. That's the only complain I have. Their service is swift and on time. We got our food within 15 minutes of ordering. The staff is polite and friendly. A must visit restaurant in my opinion.
The food is delicious. The only con is the serving time is damn slow. It takes 25 mins min to serve the order!!

Really the food is fabulous. All the chicken varieties are very very good. Expect that Briyani. I think it's not pure Punjabi Briyani, that's a mess from them. Apart from dessert options are very less. And ice cream too. We can enjoy a meal not a complete Buffet. It's good for low budget Person with bulk people's treat.
Very limited options buffet but taste is good. You have to wait sometimes for food as if many people at same time they are taking some time to handle it.
Best for budgeted team lunches and parites.
Place is attractive and punjabi style decorations.
Couple of live counters available.
It's is really good for ala carte.well maintained though begin old.i was woth my teammates and it wasn't costlier either. Just 4k with food and drinks.ambience is good
Food here is tasty but be aware of their portioning, quantity of dishes is lower. . Ambience is okay but seemed to be due for a maintenance. Loved old hindi live karoake. Overall good dining experience.
