This an authentic Chinese restaurant in the heart of Bangalore. They serve authentic chinese cuisine starting from chicken, pork and beef.
Best place for Chinese..! Great for ordering in and a night out..good decor..! the food is too good..been consistently ordering Chinese from here and never been disappointed :)
Been visiting wok with chung since 2003.. Food is good but restaurant is empty most of the time which feel odd.. But a nice place to have chinese..
I've never seen this restaurant crowded and I wonder why? The ambiance of the restaurant is great and they serve decent food with nominal waiting time. All time favorites are Dan Dan Mein Noodles with a choice of your gravy. We have tried Honey Chilli Chicken and Kung Pao Chicken. Dragon Roll is a tried and tasted appetizer on the menu. I have never gotten enough of Dan Dan Mein Noodles yet to diversify my taste of their menu.
Each item we ate was authentic and delicious. The helpful and cheerful personality of the staff was really refreshing. The restaurant has very nice ambience and is not overcrowded like most gud places are, nowadays. Their prices are very reasonable and their menu boasts of a lot of variety too! Bilkul paisa wasool place!!
I am visiting this place since 2011 and undoubtedly this is the best restaurant that offers good Chinese cuisine at an reasonable price in Whitefield area. Staff are courteous, not a very crowded place so you don't need ang reservation in advance and food is always good.
Must order: Chicken lollipops and Dan Dan Mein noodles
One of the best place to have chinenese... best value for money. Try chilli pork and san pei chicken in the main course. Very nice anbience too!!!
Went to wok with chung for lunch last weekend. Had their hot and sour soup and chinese chopsuey.. Both were good.. Only pro lem is getting in and oit of the restaurant because of the traffic.
Lovely Saturday lunch. This review is for an online delivery. Saturday ordered some lunch. Wanted to try the pork. Good portion of lovely fried rice. Less salty, the way I like it. Soft pieces of pork. Along with that chicken dumplings were ordered. 8 of them. If I was to compare, the fried rice was at the top. Will go there once to try the food and the ambience.
Decent place for chinese food. Situated at the main road in marathahalli. They have parking place in front of the restaurant.
We went there on a weekend for lunch. The place was not much crowded. Typical china style decor. Average ambiance. Service was quick.
The food was really nice and authentic . Bit expensive but worthy.
Great place. Timing is issue as restaurant closes by 3pm and opens again 7pm evening. Awesome Soup and chopsey .must try . Environment is good.
Trusted Chinese restaurant in the town. We like preparation very much. Tests are
very good, not very oily and spicy. It worth every penny you spend here
Best Chinese place in Marathahalli, the food is impeccable, I have been eating here for 6 years and I’ve never been disappointed, the food is consistent and the price is very good for the amount and deliciousness you get.
This is my favourite Chinese joint in this part of the city. Regular here because of it proximity to my residence. Quite a spacious sitting , interiors curated beautifully with small Chinese lamps, fans and dragon paintings as per the theme. We come here too often because of their food, quite authentic to its taste, and almost everything in the menu is delicious. Service is awesome!!
Although bit high on the pocket.
Went there yesterday. Ambience is nice. Food was good too. Ordered chicken lollipop and Spaghetti. It tasted yummy. Main course is okayish.
#happyeating :)
Couple of days back I paid a visit to Wok with chung. We ordered prawn roasted garlic soup 🍲 It was soo good and yummy 😋 latter we ordered sea food fried rice. This is the dish we must try at Wok with Chung. Gravy noodles 🍝 were also good as well !! The ambience was cool and looks like a typical China style. Overall it was good experience for me. Thanks a lot 🙏🏽
Best place to satisfy your Chinese hunger. Their wonton soup and Dan Dan mein are a must try. Decent ambience. Can improve their lighting though.
The place is calm and peaceful. Service won't take a lot of time. I am not much of a Chinese fan, but I often visit the place for soups. I ordered tom yum soup and tomato soup. Tomato soup i a delight. Will visit again
The place is really good with a great ambience and really friendly staff. The place had a chinese feel to it which adds to the fine dining experience. The quantity of the food was not so much but the taste of it suffices it. Overall nice experience.
the chill gobi and tomato was too sweet...not chilli at all. too much salt in the crispy veg.
My love for chinese took me to this place. The place has good ambience and serve authentic chinese food. If you are a sucker for chinese too, do visit this place. Highly recommended!
It would be good if restaurant has money payment online rather than only COD
This place serve authentic Chinese cuisine. Most of the people won't recognise this place as their entry is not visible from the main road. Noodles and manchow soup was yum. should be in your checklist if you want to have Chinese without burning hole in your pocket
Our go to place for chinese cuisine in & around Marathalli-Kundalahalli area...have been visiting them & ordering home deliveres over the past decade and have never been disappointed...
some of the the recommended items :-
soup with chicken dumplings, drums of heaven , mixed fried rice , mixed noodles, chicken manchurian, the mandarin fish that goes extremely well with the fried rice...
their fried rice is well fried, contains just the right amount of oil , a welcome aberration from the oiless bland rice dished out at many places..
Service is good...Nothing to rave about the ambience although it is pretty spacious & well maintained...
Overall a great place to have chinese food at very reasonabe prices!!
Food 4.5/5
Ambience 3/5
Service 3.5/5
The place serves the best Chinese and Thai food. It’s very pocket friendly too. Ambience is quiet dull.. no music or even proper lights to make the place look lit. Service is not always great, some are real lazy and weird. The place ain’t much crowded always.
Ps: Must order from this place and try the food 👌🏼
Great food.. Wholesome spread.. Serves pork which adds to the bandwidth. Tidy seating which can serve a gang of friends or family. A must visit place.
Don't be too judgemental of the location of this place because what really matters is food, and they are masters of it. I'll admit I was little late to find this place because of its obscure location ( there is a left just after the marathahalli flyover if you're coming from old airport road side and going towards Kundalahalli). This place mostly caters to indo chinese taste buds and we have never been disappointed. The noodles are really thin (the way I like it) and I've been to this place only for those. They even customise a dish the way you like it. Maybe the best place to try some indo chinese dishes in that stretch . Prices are reasonable too!
I have been there with my family. It was a quiet evening and we have ordered Fried Spring Chicken and chicken noodle soup to start with. We also had American Chicken Chopsuey and Chicken Fried rice for the mains. Food was presented well and very appetizing and the kids enjoyed everything that was ordered. They have a friendly staff and were very attentive.
Only thing is that ambiance should have been better.

I must accept that the food is genuinely amazing and tasty. However, I found the price to be a little towards the pricier side for the serving amount. It would cost around 600 to 800 for 2 adults.
P.S - The sweet dish (refer to the picture as i forgot the name) is just too amazing and a must have
The service is a bit slow but the tasty food is worth it. Minus the sweet lemon water which was made of lemon syrup and thus tasted off , everything was pretty good. Its my default place to eat in when it's late and I can't decide where to go.
I think this is a quaint little place which serves good Chinese food at reasonable rates..have tried the Dan Dan mein noodles which are pretty good..manchow soup is good but can be bit more spicier..chilly chicken is also decent..perhaps the location is a negative point for it..but I wud recommend it if u like decent Chinese food in a quiet setting.
chilli chicken was awesome
Looking at the place from the outside we were skeptic at first whether to go in or not. But after we went in, the ambience just shook us. The A/C was set at the right temperature which is a great deal in many of the restaurants these days. We ordered Deep fried chicken for appetizers. The chicken itself was bland but the sause they gave gave it a piquant dish making it a good dish. We also ordered hot and sour chicken soup which was pretty decent. And finally we ordered Dan Dan Mein noodles for the main course which has chicken and egg. The flavours were just right. It had the perfect spiciness level. It was just yummy! Only one advise would be that even from the outside they should make it a lil attractive. It is difficult to find this place at night because of the poor lights.Avinash Achilles
One of my close Colleagues planned his birthday party over here. Including me we are 7 for the party. We have ordered chicken dragon roll, mix Meifoon,Darsaan, mix malayasian noodles, san pei chicken, drumsticks and red date pancake with ice cream.
Chicken dragon roll --Semicooked with medium spice 2.5/5
Mix Meifoon --Bland and a bit oily 2.5/5.
Darsaan-- Sugary and crispy 4/5.
Malayasian mix noodles --Very thin, delicious and perfectly cooked 5/5.
San pei chicken --Gravy isn't so spicy, but would be tasty with a combination of noodles 3/5.
Drumsticks and red date pancake with ice cream --Are okayish 3/5.
Good restaurent with good service
It took a while for me to find out where this place is as it is covered by all the trees near the footpath...
It's Diagonally opposite to imperial hotel marathahalli.
The first glimpse of this place would make u think twice to get inside o not but it's a definite must try Chinese cuisine hotel.
This hotel is the perfect example for "do not judge a book by its cover"
The staffs are polite, the place is tidy.
Food is good.
Will definitely visit again!

A great place for a quite, simple meal. Went on a late rainy evening. Ordered a soup, chicken in a patch (chicken cooked in oyster sauce with broccoli n mush) and prawn fried rice.
Each item was cooked just perfect, good quantity and very courteous service.

We went for dinner here.. the ambiance, the structure was authentic Chinese indoors.
Lot of space and tables..We waited for 10 minutes for the menu, was searching thru Zomato(was Hungry).
from the menu we ordered manchow soup, chicken stick and chowmein.
the soup was Okies, was more of watery.. then came the chicken stick.. and it was awsm.. liked it.. then came the chowmien, it was having a burnt smell.. which was due to the Wok in which they prepared it, that was not washed. we can taste the burnt smell of the previous made noodles. which dint felt good at palate. We didn't made this as an issue as they were almost closing the restaurant.
All though a good place for Chinese food..
Value for money that is the bottom line
From outside yes it does not look as good as it is from inside the staff is also not the best experienced staff.
But the food is good.
For starters it was cheese roll and chicken lollypop
Very very tasty both of them. Cheese roll had awesome cheese flowing out when u take a bite.
Main course was schezwan fried rice malasiyan noodles with Chilli chicken. Wow. Everything was wow here. Quantity was awesome. We had to finally pack food so that nothing gets wasted.
For 3peole it came to around 1.3k for us. There is no rush in the afternoon.
Overall will definitely go again
Best Chinese food I have had in bangalore ! It's light and yummy. I love their wanton soup veg and never miss to have it when I'm there. So basically this place is kinda hidden, so you will need to carefully find it. Service is good but ambience is old. Quantity of food is huge but :) worth for the price !
I have eaten food here twice.
The quality of food is very good and the quantity will not disappoint you. A definite try if you are in Marathahalli over other restaurants.
Tried chicken chowmein,Vegfried rice with Thain chicken red curry & San pei chicken.
The combination makes it perfect.
Impressed by the tasty food here.
Would definitely recommend but the only issue is with the excessive oil being used in the food.
This place is really excellent if you want to have authentic Chinese food within the budget. Ambience and Service is very good. Pleased with their prompt service and hospitality. Food wise it very tasty and comes with a good quantity as well. A good visit for a family outing.
Liked the soup, probably the best thing they have. Food is decent . Price sometimes feels like on the higher side considering the quality they provide. Soup is what saves the day.
Wok with Chung is a seasoned Pan Asian restaurant in Marathahalli. I've been a regular visitor since 2012 and Infound the food is as tasty as it used to be. The restaurant is in the main road with ample parking space. The food and service are very good. Quite economical too. Various options like Meifoon, chowmin, flat noodles are all available mixed with variety of non-veg options.
Great quality Chinese food available here..this restaurant has been there since nearly 15 years! Always worth a visit where one can enjoy good food! Varieties of Pan Asian cuisine available here..good ambience, courteous and quick service, friendly staff..good dining experience..the best thing is that nothing has changed in the years..keep up the standard 😀
Awesome and delicious food ! Must try this place. Might look secluded from outside by goodness the food is amazing. !!
One of the places in this part of the city ( Whitefield, marthalli , hoodi ) where I get the typical Calcutta Chinese ambience.to be more specific, the"tangra" aroma..the other one being Mandarin at Whitefield road.this one is a bit special for me since it serves pork dishes ,which mandarin doesn't.and hailing from Calcutta, any Chinese meal is incomplete without, atleast, one pork dish.and being from Calcutta, we are very very picky about our Chinese eateries. For once, if the food is not up to the mark...that's it. The place gets permanently deleted from our list of eateries.there is no second chance.
Fortunately, this place has been able to keep our expectations every time we visit.
The quantity earlier was good.but now it has been reduced .I suppose, that's happening for most all the eateries in town.
Ample parking space, friendly staff, awesome ambience ....
A word of caution:
like many other restaurants, this place also seems to have faced the wrath of lockdown.the number of waiters are only 2 at this moment.so, avoid going on weekends ,coz it might take a long time to serve your order.
Prompt service - we went in for a fairly early dinner. The manchow soup was really good. The senpai chicken and chungwa spl rice were quite tasty too. Will recommend.
Wok With Chung, Marathahalli is very good restaurant. Due to it's entrance - people may ignore this. It's a hidden gem - providing Chinese, Thai and Seafood.
Visited with the family for a dinner after a long time. Crowd is minimum due to COVID-19. Food was excellent as usual.
Good food with reasonable price. Staff are helpful and professional.
A very nice and peaceful restaurant in modern times. You can have a quiet and deliciously cooked meal in a comfortable sitting.
We had hot and sour soup followed by Schezwan noodles. It was totally worth it.
You can park your vehicle comfortably just outside.
Not for those who want "pomp & show" in a restaurant.
The location may be little inside a gully but the food was very nice and ambience is also good
One of the best Chinese food in Bengaluru 🥰
Love to have dinner with my family..15 years old restaurant ..taste are awesome..I never have taste like these in Chinese. ..food...till now...my family are very happy when they had dinner in wok with chunk
Authentic and super delicious South East Asian food, the service is great and the food has impeccable taste. We visited the restaurant with our toddler hence had ordered on the way over the phone, to our surprise the moment we reached the food was ready. The best taste and service that we have experienced in the near past. I would definitely recommend it to all Chinese food lovers, a must visit!!
Went for dinner yesterday to this place after 10 years. It's been retained exactly the way it was. Big spacious restaurant inside. Clean bathrooms. Excellent fast service. We all enjoyed the food. Especially chilli pork, steamed rice prawn, prawn in oyster sauce, dimsums. Staff were very sweet and kind. Very close to kolkata Chinese food. Must visit
This is still one of my favourite restaurants from my childhood.❤️ When my family and I go to the restaurant, we always order the "Triple sheshwan fried rice with prawns and pork" and the "honey chilly chicken," as well as the "Hot and sour chicken soup," which was/is excellent. I swear to God, we've sat in every corner of the restaurant, in every seat. We knew one of the waiters, and I'm not sure if he still works there, but he was a cool guy!!
I'm hoping this restaurant remains open for a longer period of time. If anything happens to this golden place, the only thing I'd want is to eat the their food from there one final time !!❤️
Great restaurant with good hygiene standards. Really tasty and light food. Great for evening snacks and dinner.
you'll probably get noodles and momos everywhere else! but darsaan with ice-cream is something worth dieing for!
