This place serves the best North Indian food. Was never disappointed with the chicken starters. The efforts gone into cooking the dishes is noticeable. The candle lit ambience is a bonus.

I think this is the only restaurant which I have seen in Bengaluru which is having romantic ambience and also no loud music has been played here. A perfect kind of ambience for couples and family. Food is good but the portion size is less for starters. Service is a little slow.
I tried thai fried Crispy chicken and Dum Chicken palao .. . Both the items are taste good specifically i like the crispness of the chicken.. ambiance was nice.. friendly staff ... overall a good place to have food with family n friends
This was in my go to list for long time. Ambience is really nice. Service was really quick. We ordered chicken chimney kabab, stuffed kuch and golkonda spcl chicken handi. All the items were good in taste. Overall good food and good place.
I love the food from this place. The north indian flavor is just awesome. I have tried both non-veg and veg dishes, both are equally good. But my favorite is Prawn grill from this place and in sweets it's Firni. Pocket friendly with wonderful taste. I would surely recommend this place for good food.

Their forte is Mughlai cuisine...so you should stick to ordering the Mughlai items here...
My favourite item over the years has been Golkonda Hundi curry which goes extremely well with the butter nun..

I wanted to try out somewhere different with a very good ambience and as I scrolled through Zomato I came across Golkanda chimney. Golkanda chimney located near spice garden has a beautiful rooftop ambience and a candle light setup ideal for a romantic date. If you have a large crowd there is plenty of room for that you can either take the rooftop or the outdoor garden. So I visited this place on a weekday and it wasn’t much crowded.
So coming to the food we decided to have chicken dum biryani and a Schezwan paneer. I love it when the biryani is cooked in dum style especially with the aroma and the spices infused in the biryani. To my expectations the biryani did not disappoint me much. It was good enough as it had an egg and a big leg piece in it. Taste wise I would give a 3.5/5.
The next dish in the list was the Schezwan paneer. In terms of quantity there were lots of paneer pieces and the gravy was quite good with that saucy and Savory flavours. I would give a 4/5.
Overall in short in terms of ambience it’s pretty good, food can be improved but I would call it ok and it was not way too pricy too.

An excellent place for fine dining in the vicinity. Have visited this place n number of time and satisfied almost always . Chicken lollypop and chicken kalami kabab are the best in town. Have tried Lahori raan as part of day's spacial and it was lip smacking. In regular main course, Keema chatpat is stand out dish

This place has simple yet good ambience. It is divided in 3-4 sections. On ground floor there was one indoor seating (which we skipped, because for me outdoor seating always gets a nod over indoor).
On first floor, there were 2 sections. First one was right there when you enter, it looked good, but the best one was the third one,, slightly ahead of the second one. It had candle light setup and it was looking a very relaxing place.
Overall it looked like bunglow turned restaurant, and it had basic rusty decor, but it was looking good.
Coming to food, we ordered veg manchow soup (taste was good), and had crispy babycorn for starters (It was good in both, taste and quantity).
In main course we took 'Corn Masala' (It was really very tasty, a must try) and 'Malai Kofta' (It was pathetic. I know this is little sweet curry, but what that was served was sweeter than gulab jamun. Should avoid it).
Service and staff was good.
Overall a good place to be. One can go with family, friends or bae's. If I leave Malai Kofta aside, rest all experience was very good.
Golkonda Chimney's Zabardast Chicken, Zabardast Mutton, Tangadi Kebab and Chicken Biryani are really very tasty & must try items. I would really recommend these items to have! Awesome!!!

The Biryani was really good and refreshingly different in taste. The chicken pieces were large and really tender, well cooked. Also the spices were blended together well making it mildly spiced.
A good place to dine out with family or friends. Best thing about them is open air arena with candle light dinner. Decorations were good during new year and Christmas.
Starters were tasty. ESpecially chimey kebabs is a must try. Overall the NV menu is good. Chicken jabardast is their best serve but u have to tell them to make it medium spicy.
Service is a bit slow depending upon the crowd.
No liquor environment makes it even more attractive location.

This is exactly what I want for my romantic dinner.. they have many options in Chinese ,thai and mughlai.. I have tried Chinese and Thai, which are soo yummy. It was type of candle light dinner.. quality and quantity of the food are very good. It was very tasty actually. Though They take lil time to serve but it doesn't matter for pampering your taste buds. Their behaviour is also good.
I visited this place finally after 2 years of just crossing it numerous times. I don't think they have a parking but you can park on the side lane next to the restraunt or safest is to park in Star bazaar located very next to it. Coming to the place, very nice ambience if you are looking for some romantic candle light dinner with outdoor sitting. They have indoor sitting also. We ordered manchow soup and veg kebabs, both were quite good but what stood out was green chutney, too good to be true. In the main course, I was confused to order but based on their recommendation ordered Dal Makhani and Garlic naan. Both were awesome specially Dal Makhani.Normally in place like Bangalore, people just kill the essence of del makhani by making it something else but this was as good as it can be....So, definitely a place worth going...will next time try non veg food...
It is one of the few places where I would like to go repeatedly. The food is served in large quantities and it all tastes amazing. I havent got disappointed with any dish so far. Every dish has its own unique flavour and the starters are especially great 😍
Ahh . After staying in Bengaluru for so many years finally I got the chance to visit this awesome foodie paradise . Golconda Chimney(GC) has been around for more than 20 years now and to put it in short - the food was awesome back then and it is still as awesome now ! Went there after a long time and was delighted by the taste of the food! Usually over a period of time the taste is lost but I'm really glad GC has maintained its taste. The mutton kakori kebab was soft and melt in the mouth! The Tandoori chicken was absolutely gorgeous! Smoky, well done and worth every bite ! Yumm! The main course offerings were different on the menu so was wondering what to pick but the gentleman serving us was very helpful. Advised us to try Zabardast chicken gravy - boneless chicken pieces cooked in South Indian style with curry leaf and southern flavours! Absolutely lip smacking! The Chatpata mutton was again delightful and everyone relished it ! The texture of the gravy, the perfectly cooked mutton, it was one of the best mutton gravy we had in a long time! The Garlic naan was mildly flavoured and served hot. The Tandoori roti also was nice. Fresh lime soda was served in a kulhadd glass and was perfectly refreshing.
Coming to the ambiance,we went for lunch, daytime only the terrace is open for dining. It's basic and rustic setup. It is an open terrace and the breeze is good if it isn't very hot. The staff is very helpful and efficient. Service is fast. Parking is a little challenging over there but luckily we got it.
The price is definitely on the higher side but the food taste, quality of meat and the portion size makes up for it !
A must try if you haven't tried it yet.

Online platform like swiggy Zomato restaurant will charge more than 70 rupees per dish for example if chicken briyani is 300 in dine in , in zomato they charge 360 to 370
Parked the vehicle in adjacent shopping mall and walked into this restaurant around 1PM on a Sunday afternoon. Surprisingly not much crowded and got our table immediately. Since 11 of us went in, tried both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Food tasted good. Service could've been better. Some of us were asking for hot water but these guys don't want to hear at all. Everytime we need to ask them at least few times to get hot water.

We had a Birthday party. The food was very tasty. The service was prompt. The best part was the restaurant manager Mr Salim made sure all the guests were served food on time everytime. He helped in make the party successful.

Food was excellent, I was overwhelmed with their non-veg items. Ambience was very nice, but if you visit in evening, mosquito is a great problem since the place is open and surrounded by trees.

This place is a perfect spot for family dinner and date nights. Their light decoration is really beautiful and the candle on the tables also look very lovely. They deliver quality food. I have been to this place multiple times and the food quality is consistent. My personal favourite from here are their zabardasti chicken curry and butter naan. We have also tried some of their kebabs and i liked lamb sheekh kebab the most. What makes me come back here is definitely their delicious food. Price is little on higher side, but the quantity of food served covers up for that. One curry can be shared by three in normal case. Customer service is good but can be improved/ more professional. A must visit spot for dinner. A suggestion to the team of golkonda is to change the font of their menu so that it can be better understood.
