Happened to pass by thran recently and was absolutely disappointed when I saw a to let board adorning it's door. Thran was one of the best hidden gems Bangalore had to offer. Over the years, it's food had given so much joy to not just me but also my family and friends. I'll always remember the delicious korean food and the warm and courteous staff. I wish them all the very best and hope that they come back soon. God speed.
Very few know about this hidden gem in heart of kamanahalli. The restaurant is like finding a flare gun in a PUBG game .
If you love pan Asian foo.. I m sure you love pan Asian food ! ESP Korean food this is a MUST TRY.

We tried Korean cuisine for the first time and it turned out amazing. Contrary to Indian food, i found it be on the sweeter side. However, the quantity and quality of food is worth a try. I would definitely visit again to some other dishes.

Korean food is one of the most healthy meal you can have. Eat as much as you want but walk away unbloated and feeling full.
Had been here on a weekday so crowd was less. We had the kimchi jjigae (MUST TRY) and tukbegi bulgogi and half n half chicken. The quantity is more than enough for 2, so we couldn't eat lot.
Ambience: 10/10 (simple elegant design) good lighting for your instagram pictures

Cost for two: 7/10 ( it is pretty expensive but quantity does justice)

Unfortunately we found it difficult to locate since its not a huge outlet, yet one of the best korean joints in town. You'll also find a lot of koreans here.

After a lot of research on which cuisine to try next, Thran popped up on Zomato. Judging between Thran, Hi Seoul & Arirang was bit difficult. Finally we favoured Thran and it didn't disappoint us at all.
Right from the service, cozy ambience & food we had a great time here and enjoyed every bit of it.
Had the Dolsat bibimbap, pork Bulgogi and jjuccumi Bulgogi.
Octopus was a first time try for us. All the dishes were savoury, the side dishes too were worth to note.
Definitely going back for more..
Absolutely the best place for Korean food! It's cheaper than other Korean places, the service is amazing and the food is excellent.
I always love coming to Thran. Visit their bakery and their cafe, "Stories cafe" as well.
I am in love with the Banchan (Korean sides) here. I ordered the octopus stir fry and the squid and pork stir fry and alas we were served a giant feast complete with 6 sides, egg drop soup and sticky rice. Super authentic and what a steal!!! Thran definitely has my vote
Being a Korean food lover, I paid a visit to Thran when I was in Kalyan Nagar and thankfully I made that decision. The ambiance is pretty basic but oh boy, the food is amazingly good. Though I had better kimbaps at Hae Kum Gang but the Beef Bulgogi just blew my mind. It was so good. They served assorted small dishes, a bowl of soup & sticky rice with it. A complete meal in itself. The complimentary Cinnamon tea is a perfect end to the meal. Pricing is at par with other Korean restaurants in the city. Service is prompt. Overall a wonderful experience.
Kalyannagar and adjacent areas have quite a few korean restaurants. Seeing Thran's good reviews we decided to pay it a visit and I was not disappointed. Tried the beef bulgogi and tuna kimbab. The Bulgogi tasted awesome and so was the kimbab (although the kimbab was too big to my liking). The place is located on the ground floor of a house. Service was quite prompt. Thran is definitely worth a visit.
Note:They also have a very nice bakery adjacent to the restaurant.
My favorite Korean restaurant in Bangalore. They serve amazing side dish here. Kimchi and sweet potato are my personal favorite. I had the ramen , which was just amazing... the other favorite is kimchi stew , the soup tasted sooo soo good

So good. Had beef and pork bulgogi dishes.... The only reason I can't give it five stars, is that the portions were a little small for the price point. Otherwise, great flavors, great food. Small, little hole in the wall, with no real ambience...but the food was GREAT!

Truly one of the best Korean restaurants in Bangalore!
I've been to 3 Korean restaurants (Thran included) in Bangalore and have noticed something peculiar. All restaurants solely focused on the food and not the decor. Thran, however, did pay attention to the decor as well and the food was a notch up from rest of the places as well ( double win 👌🏻).
What we ordered :
-Started with tuna kimbap ( Korean take on sushi..yum yum)
- deep fried dimsums ( pretty standard nothing to write home about for this one)
- beef bulgogi : now this, hear me and hear me carefully, you will want to order 2 portions of these, it is THAT good 😍 they serve most of their dishes with a side of sticky rice so pair it with that, and some Kimchi.
- bibimbap: stone pot Korean fried rice which is mixed with egg and khimchi and is pretty good.
Didn't have space for more but I ALWAYS love having kimchi Jigae which is a spicy sour kimchi soup with vegetables and tofu / chicken / beef / seafood. That constitutes a full meal for me usually but this time I wanted variety.
Also, they have a continous supply of 6 sides 🤘🏻
PS: thran also has a bakery outside and I picked up a peanut butter bun ( just because it was super soft) and had it next day for breakfast.
Thran serves delicious as well as filling Korean food!!
Even the side dishes are made with perfection.
We ordered kimbap and they served us clear soup, kimchi, korean potatoes and vegetables as the side dish. It was yummy. Then we ordered dumpling ramyun( ramen) and at last chicken bulgogi. The flood was exploding with flavors and was amazing. Will surely come back , the staff was very friendly. They even served us fruits in the end. All this food was shared by 3 people and it was very very veryyyy filling. Thran recently got renovated and it's even better.

Great food, you should try to pork bulgogi and beef stew.. the dishes are served with sides like sticker rice, kimchi, soup, etc (more than good portion for one person).

Thran has an authentic Korean cuisine menu and it serves some amazing delights. Some of the must tries include their kimbap, seafood bowl and ramen.
One of my favorite places in this part of Bangalore. Especially love the hot pots here. Pair it with a little sake and it's awesome. Love the complimentary plate they serve while you wait for your order.
The portions are very much on the higher side. Have never been able to finish the dishes I've ordered.
Nothing much to say about the ambience. The place is clean and neat but I go here purely for the food.
Tried Korean food for the first time, believe me TASTY, place is small but maintained well, has a nice vibe, food is tasty and the staff is good, u have people who speak good English and the menu has pics which makes it easy to decide what u want.
Have been wanting to visit this place since so long and I am so glad I did. Had the kimchi Ramen and Chicken Bolgogi. The Ramen was spicy and tasted really good. Definitely worth a visit. Lovely little place for Korean food. Looks and feels like a home rather than a restaurant but that adds up to the cozy feel. We went to especially try the ramen but it was not available that day, no matter the other options in the menu were great as well. The food is very well presented and the staff are courteous.

They have expanded their menu and have a great range of food to offer. Good taste and quality. Little on the expensive side , but worth it. Good range of non veg items , ramen is tasty.
So was in the town for a week and a friend of mine suggested me to try Korean cuisine and took me to this place for lunch!

A wait for 5 long years finally came to an end today. We were always skeptical of this cuisine but today we went there impromptu and it was the best move we ever made.
The ambiance was really nice and it is a cute restaurant. Nice Korean slow songs were being played in the background and if you know a bit of Korean language it would definitely delight you.
Coming to food we went for Egg Mali, Chicken bbq Deobapp and Chicken Kas and all of them were yummy.
They had given us 6-7 complementary dishes along with the food and this is more of a Korean gourmet ritual. All nice and healthy.
If you remove the sticky rice, I would say Korean is one of the healthy cuisines. The prices are bit on higher side but premium stuff will always be a bit costly, Isn't it ?
Ideal rating - 4.8 (will deduct .2 as they did not have any options in mocktails nor deserts)

Well.. Korean food generally is something I will always say yes to. There is something about eating with chopsticks, I guess!! This place unlike Hi Seoul, has a variety of dishes to choose from. The food is delicious, no doubt!! But I guess to be a good critic of Korean food, we need to ask a Korean itself.
They changed the ambience the last time I entered there. Minimal, simple yet beautiful. A lot more class I must say, but it comes with a small increase in price!
Will definitely visit this place again, when my palette begs for different flavours.
Must try the Koran fried chicken ....along with the many side assorting pickles they provide with the main dish ....it creates a great meal .The pickles have a great flavour and enhance the experience of the main dish .

My korean friend laughed at my pronunciation when I said ‘Thran’ in my English accent and he corrected me saying it’s actually “Th-ran” (in the garden). This place was in my list from long. I love Asian food specially Japanese. But lately I have started loving Korean food. And this place is a must visit for all the food lovers. We went there on a rainy night , I was craving for some sweet and spicy chicken. so we ordered Korean fried chicken, portion size was big almost 20 pieces of chicken.. It was finger linkin good. We also ordered tuna kimbap... the only thing which disappointed me that Tuna was cooked not raw. Nevertheless it was great. My husband wanted to try some ramen so we ordered the pork ramen. It was not up to the mark which is why I am giving a 4 * otherwise both food ambience it a cozy and homely place.

In search of Korean food we found this place serves authentic Korean delicacies. So, on a nice and cool Bengaluru evening on a Saturday we decided to try this place.
Ambiance: Small but very clean and cosy.
Food: We ordered Cheese Kimbap, Chicken Ramen and Stir fried Squid with rice. Chicken ramen was well prepared while cheese kimbap too was good. We were bit disappointed with Stir fried Squid as it was on the sweeter side. Rest of the complimentary accompaniments like kimchi was wonderful. Soup, tofu in omelette blanket was good. In desert they served watermelon and muskmelon along with Cinamon tea (cold). Tea was very nice. I always believed that Korean food is a bit spicy but didn’t find it here in any of their offerings, may be they are making it according to what Indians can savour.

This one in Kalyan Nagar is very cozy , small and well decorated.
We ordered chicken dumpling ramen and pork gulgogi. The best part about the place was the condiments that were offered on the house. Various types of starter include kimchi and eggs in vinegar.
The price is a bit on the higher side but it definitely makes up for the quality of food and quantity as well.
The staff is very friendly and will assist you in making orders if you are a newbie.
Went here with the wife one evening when we were feeling particularly adventurous. My wife had never tried Korean food before while I had some initiation in the several Korean Canteens/Restaurants in Chennai.
The overall experience was great. Merely trying out the wide spread of condiments including the better known Kimchi can fill one up significantly.
Thran is a compact place but set up neatly and service is attentive. Food is well prepared and gives you a great introduction to Korean cuisine. The price of individual dishes is more than the average in a comparable restaurant serving other cuisines of food. This could be because the cost of the wide spread of condiments is built into it.
Definitely worth a try for anyone wanting to try new dishes and cuisines.
On par with the best Korean restaurants in Bangalore for food. We ordered Dolsot Bibimbap, Ramen, and Ojingeo Muchim (Spicy Squid). The food was very good, although the squid wasn't as spicy as the name suggests. It was my first time having squid and was a pleasant experience. Dolsot Bibimbap was good as well, as scrumptious as it can get.
The ambience of the restaurant itself is quite homely, which is not a bad thing according to me.
The time they take to get the food to your table is a bit too much. The place was almost empty when I went there but it still took them a lot of time to get my food.
You should visit this place if you're into Korean food or want to try the Korean cuisine for the first time. You won't be disappointed.

Visited this place on a Saturday afternoon. Wanted to try Korean food for quite a while, so decided to finally make it happen. This is a cozy place (converted house) , tucked in the bustling street of Kalyan Nagar.
We started off with some wine (was hoping to try soju, but unfortunately they weren't serving it) , after which there were some complimentary starters offered. 6 to be precise.
We had ordered the chicken bulgogi as a starter. Had the perfect barbecue taste to it.
For the main course we ordered the ramen. Nothing can beat it at comfort food.
At the end of the meal we were given watermelon and a cinnamon drink which was so tasty, that I honestly wish I could end every meal with that drink. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, and wouldn't change a thing about my visit.

On the look out for a change, decided to try some Korean food and zeroed down on Thran which is located in the perpetually bustling Kalyan Nagar. The restaurant is basically a house converted into an eating joint. New to the cuisine, we just decided to wing it and order by impulse.

> Marinated Squid and pork BBQ
A whole bunch of accompaniments were served to us before the food came in which included Khimchi and some other stuff which tasted pretty good !
Taste wise everything was great. The beef stew came in an iron vessel i think, and it was littering bubbling in the vessel itself. The Tuna Kimbap is basically a rice roll / sushi - taste was nice and quantity was really good too @ 12 pieces a portion. We loved the Squid and Pork bbq too.
Service was very casual, the owner looked korean and the boys were basically sitting around on other tables until someone beckons them. Taste wise i wasn't blown away, but i enjoyed the meal. A bit heavy on the pocket, am assuming they import most of their ingredients, in that case its alright.
Probably a one time visit until i can get myself more accustomed to the cuisine.

I got lucky and was fortunate to know that this is a authentic korean bakery and a part of the Korean restaurant here .
the gentleman behind the counter was courteous and guided me in selecting the potato Goroke which has chicken sausage bits in it .It's quite Tasty and yum.
i also took his advice and went in for the steamed red bean doughnut and it's was delicious and light .

Located opposite to Brewklyn and Barbeque nation in Kalyan Nagar.. Thran is a tiny restaurant with a big heart. We arrived famished at the entrance and were greeted with a big smile and taken to our table. The decor was colourful and minimal, and felt like a homely dining room. Being a vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised by the varied veg options on the menu. We ordered the spring roll which had a hint of pineapple, kimbap (korean equivalent of sushi) and dolsot bibimbap on a stone pot. We were also offered a generous portion of side dishes which included soyabean sprouts, seasoned greens, fried babycorn, zuchini, boiled eggs and yummy kimchi. The waitress was so kind to offer us a second helping of the side dishes. In the end, we were offered a cup of chilled cinnamon tea, which felt like bliss after the heavy meal.
I would definitely come back to Thran, as there are many more treats I'd like to try and would highly recommend others to visit Thran as well.

It was my first Korean food experience. Safe to say I was not disappointed. Food is delicious, a pinch of sweetness in the kibimibap was refreshing. Staff is friendly and informative. Ambience is humble,a very homely feel a little too much though with the presence of cartons overhead, but it doesn't bother all that much. All in all,go here for the food cause that's all that matters.
Really enjoyed the Veg Kimchi and zuchhini pancake. Good options for vegetarians as well. Generous with complementary side portions and refreshments like cinnamon tea. Good and fast service.

Good authentic Korean food. Good service and the portions are pretty good. You can always ask for a second helping of their sides. Do not miss their egg dishes, they are just soooo fluffy. The place is cramped so try an off beat day to visit to have some quiet. Ask openly for them to suggest if u are not familiar with Korean food.
Small cozy and nice.. My first encounter with Korean food.. Authenticity i could guess we were only non Korean speaking guest there.. Being veg hope were not high.. Surprisingly they had lot of veg options... They complement start dishes and dessert with food very nice on price point they are.

I visited Thran today and I'm in love with this place!
Starting off with the complimentary food, the egg roll with the spicy sauce was my favorite along with the sticky sweet potatoes. We ordered the spring rolls, Sausage Kimbap, seafood ramen and the Momo Stone pot ramen.
So the spring rolls are the best I've had so far, they were so exceptionally delicious with the various textures of meat, veggies and pineapple in every bite. That's is 5/5 dish for me.
The sausage Kimbap, seafood ramen and the Momo ramen were all very delicious as well with the seafood ramen being my favorite from the above. The Momo ramen was a let down because there was only one Momo in the entire hot pot and I was expecting more.
We ended the meal with cold watermelon and this cold cinnamon tea which was the perfect way to end the meal.
The search for good Korean food got me here, and initial impressions were promising. Although there were not any floor seatings, the menu was quite simple, and looked authentic. Service was fast and attentive.
The food...well pork bulgogi was good, but just about. The geksu seemed promising but was let down by some pretty average noodles. Those adorable side dishes did help though, apart from the kimchi there was this bean sprouts that was quite good. As was this cold eggy dish that I have not seen before.
I may go there again, probably with a larger group so that I can sample more of the food, especially the fried chicken.
Thran has a cozy homely feel to it. We had been wanting to try out new places and Thran kept featuring as an option. When we did go, we did not regret it one bit. Cute decor. Warm staff and good food. I am predominantly vegetarian, and will definitely recommend the place. My favorite dish was Veg Bibimbap. The Veg kimbab was nice and crunchy too.

The next, food we ordered for the ramen, the classic one and then the pancake made up of eggs, kimchi and maida which was very yummy and a pork stew which was served with rice. Prior to this food, they had served us the complimentary starters which had the kimchi, sprout salad, boiled eggs and potatoes which was really nice but I especially like the salad made of mushrooms.
Coming the the management, they are very sweet and friendly.

Ramen, a very popular dish among all anime fans out there, is one to be tried without fail. Korean cuisine varies among each province but the main dish consists of Rice, Vegetable, and Meat. Their cuisine is also known for a large number of side dishes which I had the pleasure of tasting here at Thran. Had the Sea Food Ramen and Veg Ramen. And it blew my mind. And Presentation is off the charts.

Loved the pork barbeque and Ramen noodles .All their mains are served with the sides like kimchi,sprouts ,pokchoy etc.
They serve a delicious n refreshing cinamon cooler with a slice of watermelon after your meal .
Having visited Thran twice, I would say they never fail to impress. This time we visited with a few friends from South Korea and we all had a very lovely meal. This time we stayed on the less adventurous path and had the pork bibimbap and beef rolls. Their side dishes are an exotic treat just as much as the food is. Lovely ambience and very polite service staff.
I had my first hands on some Korean food right here at Thran, and I'm glad it was here!! They literally made me fall in love with the authentic Korean cuisine! I loved everything that we ordered, seated in a nice cute ambience with a staff filled with patience. We started off with a Chicken sausage kimbab which they served with a lot of other small bites of Kimchi, salads, egg. For my mains I chose the stir fried octopus with a lot of seaweed, sticky rice and egg soup and that meal kept me full until next day! Arun Kumar ordered a seafood soupy noodles which actually had all the meat from the sea he dint like octopus so he savored the soup and passes all his octopus to me. It was a night filled with octopus for me!! Since the portions are quite good, and my octopus was chewy, the staff had to wait quite sometime for us to finish and they dint complain. Our meal ended with a slice of watermelon and tea. A perfect date night!

One of my favorite Korean place in my area and was the first one I have been to. Must say that now I know start to expect when I go to one the next time. A tiny and cozy place which serves good food!
The restaurant is pretty low key and unassuming. There was k-pop playing as we took our seats, keeping the theme of the place in mind.
Food: portions are sufficient for one person. I tried the fried ramen with chicken and it is amazing comfort food! The meal is accompanied by clear soup and a particularly tasty cinnamon cool drink. I would buy it in bottles if they gave the option!
I will be back to sample some of the other dishes for sure. You may feel it's a little pricey (INR 1000 for 2 people) but it's totally worth it.

This is such a cute place. From Bibimbap to gimbaps, everything is so yumm. I love the cinnamon cooler they serve at the end. And nice chirpy staff. Love it.
Like most korean restaurants in bangalore , Thran is a homely owner-chef driven restaurant. Filled with homely decor this place feels like a extension of a Korean families home and thats what makes it special without the professional frills.
Had the Sundubu Jijae- Tofu Stew, pleasantly aromatic with just the right blend of hot and spicy with the goodness of silkytofu
The Marinated BBQ Chicken was nice but could have been more drier, was more like a wok tossed version rather than a dry BBQ version of the same .
Bibib Giksu- Noodle Hash - was superbly flavoursome but my fisrt bite slightly disappointed me because I had mistaken it toa hot item, nevertheless was an amzing bust of flavours especially after the bite goes done it leaves you with a lingering taste of the kimchi marination.
Sujebi- Clear soup was thoughly enjoyed with its mild flavours with the sea weed .
The ever so refreshing cinnamon tea got a smile to our faces with the kids sipping and asking for more.
Hidden away in the busy street of Kalyan Nagar this little Korean restaurant packs a great punch. It's a small place with a homey feel to it. I tried out the Kimbab, marinated pork BBQ, stir fried octopus, Beef pot stew, sea food Ramen and sea food and beef soup. All the dishes where up to the mark. Most of it came with a little hot box of rice and the Kimbab came with a whole variety of sides. It was a different experience and delicacy and I am in love with it. For desert complimentary cinnamon tea and watermelon a wonderful cooler. If you are looking out to try out a new cuisine this is your place.
Have been eyeing this place for almost an year since my last Korea trip. This place is run by a Korean family. The only fear I had was if the owners/chef added some kind of Indian flavour in the food. But it went away when I saw the food on my table. We had Yukgyejang and Bibimbap and it looked good. Koreans eat a lot spices and kimchi makes up for anything which isn't spicy. The usual serving consists of main dish with 6 pickles/salad/side item including kimchi. Each dish is good enough for one person. At the end of the meal, Korean tea is served.

Thran has been on our bucket list for quite a while. We were pleasantly surprised when we entered the restaurant, owing to the quiet atmosphere, aromas of sizzling barbecue and the pretty white decor. We tried the kimchi kimbap, Marinated Pork barbecue, Rice topped with stir fried octopus and the classic Bibimbap.
As typical of any authentic Korean restaurant, the table was filled with an array of unlimited sides, which were all yummy. Having eaten at Hae Kum Gang and Soo Ra Sang, we can say that Thran definitely doesn't fall short of expectations. The portions were generous and all dishes were spot on. If your still at the nascent stage of experimenting with Korean food, you can try either the flavorful stir fried octopus rice or the smokey pork bbq and all your inhibitions will dissolve for good!
Our meal ended with a complementary dessert (a fruit platter) and this cold flavourful cinnamon tea (Soojong Gwa) which was to die for! Although the Korean Barbecue at Soo Ra Sang is grilled on the table, making for a wonderful experience, the barbecue at Thran doesn't fail to impress. Also, do not forget to stop by the Korean Bakery right outside the restaurant to take home some delicious Redbean and Custard filled buns and doughnuts
BFH tip: For those who haven't been able to get their palate adjusted to Japanese food, we suggest using Korean food as a stepping stone to reach the optimal comfort level with Jap cuisine. Korean cusine is a perfect medley of raw and flavour, if you know what we mean.

As we were in the vicinity of Kalayanagar, our friends insisted that we have lunch here and must say that restaurant dot both sides of the street, CMR road@ and if one throws a stone it will hit an eating joint.
Thran, gives a very homely feeling small place with a neat déco. Nuam, a Petit lady who was receptionist, Waiter and what not rolled into one. She walked us through the Menu and gave some excellent suggestions. The Menu was pictorially explained and the dishes came out bearing strong resemblance to the pictures, well done Thran.
Fried chicken momos: 8 biggish correctly fried pieces with an exquisite dip made our day. The outer skin was crisp and the minced chicken was moist and tender.
Rice topped with fried pork and kimchi: The sticky rice was not that sticky but a subtle texture. The pork was really well cooked with it firm but tender. Kind on a bed of cabbage, it was a pretty sight. Great dish.
Marinated Chicken Barbecue: Another great dish with the rice holding its own. The chicken was excellent.
Sizzling Stone Pot Beef and vegetables: This was a slight dissappointment when compared to the above.
Thran, the way the accompaniments kept coming
It not only added to the taste but colour.
The finale of the chilled cinnamon tea and cold slices of watermelon washed down the flavours and added a wonderful after taste.
Thran another visit is in the offing.

A food joint with stands out because of its interiors, staff hospitality, nice portions at a reasonable price point and most importantly, authentic Korean food taste. A must visit for everyone who wants to try out different cuisines. Special mention of the free sides and refreshing surprise at the end.

I have been to 3 of the Korean restaurants in Bangalore and Thran is my third and definitely a good place I would recommend. The ambience need a special mention since it’s a cute and cosy lil Korean joint with everything Korean about it. It reminds me of many of those Korean series my wife watches: all colourful, vibrant and attractive. I love Korean food and Soju, everytime I watch a Korean movie or the series, I am always tempted to hit the Korean restaurant nearby and order a Soju and order for a Korean barbeque, Kimchi, Bulgogi and those huge stew pots filled with meat and veggies.
Exactly what we did.
We went to Thran in Kalyan nagar, ordered a Soju, with Beef Bulgogi, Kimbab, Kimchi, Dolsot Bibimbap and Kimchi Joengol (its got kimchi, sausages, pork and whole lotta veggies). I would rate the food experience 3.5/5, and the ambience a 4.5/5. The hosts were pleasant especially the owner, who was very sweet. Although the kimchi would not be the best kimchi I have tasted.

Visited this place for my wife's birthday and it sure was a different yet adventurous experience. Loved all the starters , the best Fried Momos I have ever had ..just wao !!
The sea food stew for main course ws so filling and yet so light.

The restaurant is located in a very cute yellow building and had warm and cosy interiors. The waitress is the sweetest ever person.
We had pork and squid bulgogi, pork bulgogi and chicken bulgogi. We also got a lot of side dishes and the soup and tea in the end.
It's the best place for Korean food in Bangalore in my opinion as it is run by Koreans and is korean specific, unlike other multi cuisine diners.
Love Thran! Beautiful cosy little place with heartwarmingly delicious, yet fully filling Soups. Tofu melts in mouth! Spicy Beef and Pork Bulgogi are yummazing. Sundubijjigae (Sundu-bee-shee-gay) was the best Korean soup ever.
All mains are served with jasmine rice and not to forget; they always end with perfectly simmered cinnamon tea served cold! Their amazing service Made my Saturday! God bless you guys Thran!
Korean experience in Blore!
Felt the need to feed my craving for Ramen and Kim chi. Strolled into Thran. Was pleasantly surprised by the authenticity. A good menu. Cute decor. But need to tidy up. The toilet was so so. There were old unused appliances lying around. The food was decent. A good attempt to match the real thing. The Bakery is very good. Service was good. A bit overpriced considering the portions. Overall a thumbs up.
My go to place when I'm craving for Kimbap.. Just looooove their tuna kimbap.. The kimchi and other sides are delicious too.. Struggled with the chopsticks initially, but didn't give up :-D .. Waiting to try their ramen!!
I always wanted to try Korean Food and thats how I landed in Thran..Situated in CMH road.A cozy restaurant with humble staff and obviously yummilicious food..I would recommend this place if you really want to try Korean food..

It was about two years ago that I went to Thran one sultry afternoon to try some good Korean food. I had their 'Dolsot Bibimbap' and the meal ended with a sweet mouth-freshening cinnamon tea. The spread was impressive and each individual dish tasted fresh and awesome! The overall experience sang for itself with the cling-clang of my metal chop-sticks against the bowl as I attentively ate my meal!
The place is tidy but quite small. You may also feel that it is tad bit on the expensive side. However, the food is well cooked, tasty and I'd say I really loved it.
A decent one for the ones who wanted to try different cuisines... Visited with my team for lunch. Everything was good. Spring rolls are sweet.. All other dishes are good except... Octopus dish was bad, we tried octopus for the first time ever, that could have been the reason... Little expensive... It was 2900 for 4 people...
Peaceful place where we can enjoy delicious Korean cuisine and helpful staff. Nice concept of the restaurant. The atmosphere here is lovely and we can enjoy the food peacefully.

Korean Cuisine vary based on each province but the main dishes consists of Rice, Vegetables and Meat. Their cuisine is also known for the large number of side dishes which I had the pleasure of tasting here at Thran. I have been meaning to visit this restaurant for a long time based on the reviews and the interesting menu. This was my first Korean experience and I landed up with the entire family including kids.
We had Daeji bulgogi and kimchi bibimbap with cheese. Oi muchim was testy in side dishes. Sewer soy sauce glazed peanuts were good. Portion size was little less. Ambiance was 3/5, service was 3/5, food was 4/5, value for money 3/5. Finding parking nearby restaurant is difficult.
This is a Korean restaurant and they totally do justice to their food.If you want to taste something unique do pay them a visit,while ordered some octopuses and squids which were stewed along with some Korean starters and sauces.
Awesome experience we had with THRAN. It's a small cozy place but well maintained and was very clean. The service was very nice. Now comes the main part --The food. It was yummmmm and very delicious. We ordered Cheese Ramen and Pork Bulgogi.. Quantity was enough for two people. The side dishes they served were delicious too. After meal they served Tea and slice of watermelon.Must visit place and must try Ramen.
The food was delectable.We ordered Chicken Bulgogi,Soya sauce chicken and chicken stone pot.The best part about this experience are the side dishes which come with it.
Do try the Korean bakery outside of it.
