The rustic white and simple ocean blue colour theme of the restaurant has the accurate vibes that you get off from the place thanks to its live Seafood theme. Squids, Karimeen, Kingfish (Vanjaram) and boy oh boy King Salmon were the top of the line on my plate and they were so delicious. The live Seafood counter offers a variety of fishes ranging from what's mentioned on the previous line to Crabs and Prawns to exquisite fish that you don't get in your daily market and all Fresh, Like you can smell the fresh sea off them, and it's variety of style of cooking (ranging from south India, Pan India to European and Chinese etc) the fish is what makes it more mouth watering and craving for more. It's not easy to cook fish but the chef here has mastered the art and everything on my plate was delicious and cooked spot on. Ended the entire meal with their in-house cooked Elaneer Payasyam that left me and my friend fighting for whom to finish it and lick it clean cause it was yum.

Their main branch in Chennai has the advantage of being close to the coast hence they have a lot of varieties. The Bangalore version had less variety of sea food but when it comes to the quality of the dishes it was on par. Pick the sea food and tell them how to cook it. You will not be disappointed. The food was so good that I forgot to unlock my zomato gold privilege!

It was an amazing experience. Best sea food I had in long time. We had golden fried kalamari, garlic prawns,pomfrets fries, crab masala, ghee rice, some roti,chicken gravy, mango mocktail,mojitos. Apart from the chicken gravy others were not very spicy exactly how we like it. Overall it Good fine dining experience. Would recommend all.
Salmon fish was good and fresh . but I am not happy with calamari chilly. Don't cook calamari first in oil , cook directly . staff was very friendly , Sarvice time was good.

It was such an awesome experience. Great ambience and the best thing about the restaurant is that you get to choose your kind of fish from the live counter. It was really great. Awesome flavours specially tandoori prawn was just yum!!!

It's a must visit place for seafood lovers. We went there on Thursday night. The food was amazing. We ordered Kerala parota, veg mango curry, kal dosa, salmon prepared in 2 ways - kumarakom and banana leaf steam way, tiger prawn tempura. It was a different experience than other restaurants. Here you have to select from fish/prawn/lobster in the display and that would be prepared in the available methods of your choice. Not many choices for veg. The smell of fish emanting from display might be off-putting for some. Cost of seafood is displayed on INR/100gm basis. Good wine menu.

Average cost- 2000-2500 inr for 2 people. Zomato discount is applicable on items in menu with price.

Being huge sea food enthusiast, it was inevitable that I visited 'The Marina' and trust me, I had an incredible experience!
The place is beautiful. As you enter you get the smell of fresh fish. Those who don't like fish might find it a bit off putting for sure. The interiors are well designed. Overall, the ambience is definitely very impressive.
So, when we visited, we had Zomato gold. Zomato gold is applicable only only the items on the menu and not on the fish that you choose from what's displayed. So it's not very useful here.
You can choose the fish of your choice, get as much as you like and also get it prepared in the style you prefer. Although it gets pretty expensive, I believe the experience is one of a kind and very unique.
Here's what we ordered:
1. Salmon
2. Squid
3. Chicken lollipop
4. Chettinad fish biriyani
5. Prawns
The food was AMAZING. Although I felt that the quantity was not that great, the quality was definitely exceptional. Everything was cooked to perfection. Again, it is on the pricier side but the food is definitely worth it.
The service is excellent. The staff here is very friendly and they help you with choosing what to order and how to go about things. A big thumbs up!
So, 'The Marina' is a premium sea food restaurant that serves some great food and gives you a unique experience. You get a taste of the coast here in B'lore and that's something worth giving a shot.

This place was my first time visit. The staff was very courteous and good at service. It is a very good restaurant for big groups and family dinners. The food was good as well. We tried the Shanghai noodles and the burnt garlic noodles. Both were good and up to the mark.

A place to visit for sea food experience. One of the top sea food places in bangalore. Priced on higher side though. Would recommend you to try once if you haven't. Not a daily restaurant though .

When the review for this restaurant is concerned , less is more. A must visit if you love to eat fish.
They have very good crab soup and awsome chilli garlic noodles which go very good with their chinese style prawns( I forgot the exact name of this preparation, ask the servers for exact dish).
Calm ambience and look. They serve ultimate fish tawa with authentic masalas (But thats LaCarte item not includes in GoLD}. Overall nice place with superb service.

If you are fish lover, do not miss this place. There are very few places in Bangalore, where you get the pick the fish you want to eat. The chefs were very helpful and polite and helping us pick our pallet. I love fish but it was confusing to decide amongst so many. And we ended up having the bluefin travelly, hamoor fish and white pomfret. All of them were cooked brilliantly. The chef will help you pick the flavour you like. We wanted spicy and tangy, so we took Kerala style spices for one, Thai for another. And let the cook decide whatever be wanted to do with the third. And we all were extremely satisfied with the food. The decor is corporate where you can pick fishes. You also get to pick you wine which is an added advantage. A big plus to this place.
Today I visited The Marina restaurant with my daughter for dinner.The restaurant is famous for sea food.As we enter the mild fragrance of fish entered our nostrils.It is due to the variety of fish spread over chunks of ice.From lobster to prawn and from squid to various whole fish and some fish fillets.The waiter help you to choose the fish.Live crabs were also there.You have to choose the fish and type of cooking like south Indian,Amritsari,traditional western etc.We had chosen lobster to be cooked with lemon,garlic and olive oil and Sere fish fillets to be cooked in Amritsari style.Lobster was very good.Sere fish was nice along with good green chutney.We finished the dinner with veg fried rice which was very good and I gulped it with green lemonade..The waiters were helpful and overall it was good experience.

A friend of mine and I were looking for a place we haven't been to in Indiranagar when we decided to visit this unique dining option. Their Sangrías are the best I've had in Bangalore so far and each dish was cooked to perfection and flavoured tastefully. The staff are very attentive and non intrusive and take the time to explain what pairs well with each seafood. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Following is not a review but feedback for the management.
1. Waiter came and asked what water you want disappeared, never came bk
2. On taking the order I wanted to be cooked in some fashion but he never came back after I chose a fish to ask what I want instead he chose by himselves
3. Very slow not if they were understaffed but it was 2:00 pm and generally post peak time
4. Tried explaining these to the waiter but he was instead reasoning out so I left it there..
Sea food items are all good and bit costly. Chicken lolly pop must try item. Malabar Parotta was not good and very costly. Sea food Soup was also good
This place definitely needs multiple visits. Taste is very authentic. If you are a foodie who loves trying out new flavours try their South Indian preparation. Each preparation is unique in its way. Extremely kind and courteous staff. Giri is one of them who was very helpful in selecting our menu. Little expensive but worth the money. Absolutely for serious eaters who can appreciate flavours and efforts of the chefs. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal..do not forget to order coconut paysam for your dessert :) :)
High-quality food. High prices. One of the few places where one can leave the restaurant feeling satisfied with the food. The choice of masala can be combined with our choice of fish. The place is great for diners seeking good non-vegetarian food and willing to pay a hefty bill for it.

Absolutely love the place. Starts with great hospitality. And food is just amazing. I have been taking people there whenever there’s like a nice lunch or dinner plan. This is my go to place. Ask them around and they’ll guide you for the best items around. Chingaari, Lahsooni, Tawa fry are some of the preparations which are must haves. And the crispy corn in golden basket is an absolute delight. I think I should apply for some kind of membership here! ;)
Finger-licking Amazing Seafood! You get to choose your quantity and masala to cook. I recommend Seer Fish / Surmai in Tawa Fry Masala & Amritsari Prawns for North - Indian Taste Buds ❤️ It took me back to Delhi days :)
This is one of the best sea food places I've ever been too. The whole experience was just wonderful. I love the whole theme of choosing the raw fish and then selecting on how you want it cooked. That's a brilliant idea. And the taste is exquisite. The staff were also brilliant. I would totally recommend all the sea food lovers to visit. You guys get a 5 star. Good stuff

I will admit that ordering 'Chicken Lollypop' from a restaurant named 'The Marina' which most probably be the Seafood restaurant, was a bit much. But, I was craving for Chicken Lollypops and they looked so delicious in their photos. Reviewers were raving about it too, so I thought- what the hell, let's go for it. There wasn't any kind of accompaniment such as Sauces or Chutney, but then too it was a complete experience. This Chicken Lollypop was so delicious, perfectly cooked, perfectly marinated, sweet, sour & spicy in perfect amount..So in short, it was the perfection personified. Also, it looked exactly as it looks in photos. So, voila...that was the best call ever made.
This goes without saying that, I will order again and taste more dishes. Will try to visit them if I get a chance.
five stars to this restaurent. this is one of the best seafood serving restaurents in banglore. they have live fish crab and prawns section cooked in choice of sauce. the food is super delicious and very fresh.
The well known sea food destination in indiranagar is one of it's kind. You need to be a hardcore non vegetarian / sea food lover to be seated inside the restaurant because the moment you entre there will be a smell. You can also opt for an outdoor seating.
The menu is not huge, there are different sauces mentioned for which you need to pick the fresh fish from the counter. The pricing is pretty good. It depends on the weight of the fish. They do provide the price per 100 grams.
We tried the calamari rings in honey chilly flavor. The taste was good however it was a little on the sweeter side. We tried the seafood ginger garlic mushroom soup. It was awesome. The crab was also fresh. Though the chef recommended the gravy/style. The seafood fried rice and the tikka style black pomfret was also superb.
Overall I would rate this place a 5 star for food.

One of the Best places for seafood in the city.. the fish is fresh and the spread is huge. Lemon butter garlic Prawns was lip smacking. Had grilled fish as well which was delicious. Would be great if they can serve different kinda sauces with grilled fish(garlic yoghurt, salsa, mango sause etc) which would offer interesting flavours. They serve these sauces in their Chennai branch.
The food was awesome. I went here to eat seafood food. But to my surprise, even the chicken lollypop was delicious. The tandoori pomfret was amazing, the lobster was cooked beautifully. The prawns in hunan sauce was really tasty. Loved everything at this place. Highly recommended.

This restaurant has a very nice concept. There is a display case of various types of fresh fish with the rates written and we can choose the ones we want and then from the menu we can select the method of preparation. We had pomfret tawa fry, karimeen pollichathu and jumbo prawns varattiyathu. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, but the drinks were expensive..altogether loved the experience!
Excellent service -- from explaining the various fishes on display to having the valet parked car ready when we walked out, the entire experience was excellent and the food was fantastic. Highly recommended.
Bangalore finally has a real seafood restaurant. I had been to their Chennai outlet. This is the ultimate place for high quality seafood. You can select your choice of fish from the display and get it cooked the way you like it. I really like the butter garlic sauce. The tawa fry was amazing as well.
This place though on the expensive side is worth trying out if your a seafood lover. You get choose what you want and how you want it prepared from a array of seafood choices laid out in front of you. I opted for spicy prawn tawa fry and sear fish mango curry with a side of steamed rice. They have non alcoholic wine as well!

Tucked away under the metro closer to
toit in Indiranagar, this place really took us by surprise. From the outside the place does not have the pull factor (except for the name & through some research). Not just because we enjoyed the food, but the concept of choosing your fresh sea food and then getting it cooked as per your requirement is not something that you get everywhere.
We chose some prawn curry, rice, some sear fish tawa fry, chicken lollipops...Fish was fresh and tasty. Overall food experience was amazing. Staff too was courteous, ambience I would give a 3.5.
Only negative is the price which is a bit steep given that you are charged by the gram. But then why wouldn’t one pay a bit more for something that works on your taste buds.

This place is like a GEM in the jungle of restaurants. Great coastal food, with some good choices. A must if you are in Indiranagar. A place suitable for families, singles, with partners and surely with loved 1. Kind and courteous staff.

There is a wide variety. There is no fixed price here, so ends up on the expensive side. Taste is pretty decent. Presentation is good. The only con is that it is pricey, but overall a good shot.

The name MARINA itself means “Of the Sea”. It was such a wonderful day and best decision is choosing this place . Located on the main 100ft road in Indiranagar just few Mts ahead of Toit. The moment you enter this cozy yet pretty spacious palace feels a lot comfortable with natural lighting and the varieties of fishes / prawns inviting you ( They have a Live counter ) . Haha a school of fish well placed with all details .
The best part is - All the seafood you order isn’t fixed unlike other restaurants , you order here based on grams or pieces . Service was indeed great and well explained . No delay
Ambience - Good enough to have a conversation with loved ones or for business and kinda cozy at corners

A must visit restaurant for all seafood lovers! It has a market sort of system where we can go up to the counter and choose from a variety of fresh seafood and tell the chef how u want it cooked. We started from lemon chilli coriander soup with fish and mushroom. I liked it. It was flavoufull👍🏻.I never tried seafood soup before,but my first experience is nice.
Tawa fried jumbo prawns was spicy and yumm💦💦we really liked it.The marination was good .so we repeat same dish.Karimenn pollichathu was tasty and tangy . Best combination for rice🔥malabar fish curry was yummy.Then we order fried rice.

Found this place through Zomato gold. I’m seeing this concept for the first time. It was a different experience. Since it was the first time I asked the waiter to suggest me, please don’t do it at this place. They push you to select the most costliest dish. The masala and spices were on point. The food here is undoubtedly best for the sea food category. It’s a little over priced.

This restaurant is very close to indiranagar metro station. There is vallet parking service here.
Before we could order, they took us near their workstation where they have kept all the seafood so that we can choose from the lot and they would then weigh the seafood and let us know the price.They were very humble..
So we ordered few pieces of jumbo prawns and the staff prepared 2 varieties in it- achaari tikka and hariyali tikka(not sure about the name)
Another starter was the crab pepper roast which came with gravy. Then we ordered kaali dosa.
1) Prawn tikka- It was cooked to perfection and the masala was spot on. I would definitely recommend this starter to a seafood lover.
2) Crab pepper roast- Crab meat along with gravy was heavenly. We totally were in love with the gravy and it complimented well with the dosa.
3) I forgot to mention about the squid fry which was very crunchy and was perfect.
In addition, they had an offer 1+1 free on the wine and we ordered 2 glasses of wine(1 red and 1 white). It costed just 19/-..
Atleast it deserves a 1 time visit and I give full marks for the food and the ambience.
What a way to start the new year. We decided to have our first lunch(2019) here and it was all worth it. The place looks neat, sharp and clean, with minimal decor. Being a seafood restaurant, they have varieties of fresh seafood counter where you can choose from as per your liking. We started with grilled seabass prepared in two ways one with salt and pepper and the other with mustard, jumbo prawns, veg in mango sauce, dosas, chicken chettinad , karimeen polichatu, meen kozhambu, and end our meals with tender coconut payasam. The food was great and yummy and the highlight of the meal was the payasam which was so refreshing after having plethora of food. The service was quick and the staffs well explained the dishes before serving. We had a nice time here and looking forward to visiting soon. If you are a seafood lover this place is a must try!

I go there quite often now. Starting from service, to the food, everything was always perfect. Continental Salmon in Cajun Grill, Tandoori Prawns, Soft Sangria and Mango curry are items I keep ordering. All their preparations are damn nice! My favorite place in Indiranagar or maybe even Bangalore!
Amazing food.
1. Fishes were very fresh and preserved with ice rather than preserving it in Freezers.
2. The concept for choosing the Fish first and the Style of cooking option is very unique and gives a person to enjoy the exact delicacies he/she wishes to have.
3. Vegetarians: The food is very delicious and farm fresh. Though not much of variety, the ones listed in the menu are excellently cooked.
4. Just be sure if you ok with the smell of fish (very light smell unlike other restaurants with pungent smell).
Else, a very big Thumbs up for Vegetarians too.

The Best sea food by far in bangalore. The sea food was so fresh and the concept of picking your sea food by yourself was unique. Taste wise such new and unique taste of Seafood. The pricing also is so reasonable. On the whole enjoyed the food.
