Pretty good place and Zomato Gold is an perk for this one. Food bowls are certainly good, sufficent and Staff is very courteous and indeed friendly. Only drawback is access releated as it is located inside the RMZ tech park. Need to get the access from the security lobby. Overall it's good.
CB never tries to disappoint as they have so many items and the choice to customize your own food.
Cheesy tostada is amazing but not filling.
I chose Nachos with mexican paneer and had a choice of four toppings rest all were payable.
Mini Nachos bowl with rice, paneer, sour cream, tomatoes and beans, thats all. Super tasty and filling for one person.
This was a first. And I must say, it was worth it. We ordered bbq paneer burrito🌯, mexican paneer rice bowl🍚 and peach iced lemon tea🍋.
The taste was good, recommend trying the spicy add ons, it enhances the taste and at the same time, the spice level is manageable. Although, the quantity could be improved.
The place is quite small with sufficient seating capacity. Perfect for people who want to try something different on a normal office working day.

This has easily become my new favourite go to place for a light guilt free lunch!! I regularly order the BBQ CHICKEN BOWL & CHILLY CHEESE TOSTADA! I like how all the ingredients are fresh & the quantity is good as well ... definitely all worth the price! I’d recommend the BBQ bowls 🍲
I always have great experience with the California burrito .....loved the food ..food is tasty and it has great flavour and like me who wants lot of vegetables can enjoy the meal
When in Bangalore I always make a stop here for Dinner. The salad rice bowl here keeps me guilt free of all the calories I stocked up throughout the day. I prefer the Rice Bowl to the burrito roll. The best part being you can choose what you want to mix into your bowl. The pink lemonade here is a pretty unique thing. worth a try.
Tried Mexican paneer rice bowl with pink lemonade. Rice bowl was quite good but pink lemonade was okayish. Staff is friendly and helps you choose your meal and toppings.

Superb experience with burritos. I just had crispy mushrooms in it. Mr. Adam served me with a smile and great pleasure and I recommend everyone to try going there at least once. The sauce is awesome which gives extra heat to the burrito. Lovely place, lovely food and awesome people. I just made my day with a tasty burrito lunch here. Will try other things on their menu on the next visit.
This place is a safe heaven and a reserved back up for me whenever I don't carry my lunch. Although we have plenty of options in the premise but I never gave a second thought to any other place than this one. One of the signature item they offer is rice bowl which is filled with amazing stuff like veggies, cream, cheese, beans, paneer, guacamole and what not. It's filling, super tasty and quite healthy which doesn't allow you to feel guilty of skipping home cooked food. I have also tried their Quesadillas and burritos which were equally amazing to satisfy your taste buds to the core. The best part of this place is the cleanliness and the hygiene they maintain throughout. Lastly their service is also quick and inspite of a long queue, you are served with blink of an eye!!!

I like burritos once in a while.. I have had good burritos in USA. I tried here once their burrito bowls and tastewise found it at par with any good American burrito place... I liked the rice bowl with BBQ chicken, yummy!
Was really excited to get yummy food but slightly disappointed with the quality!! The salad I ordered was not fresh! The lettuce seemed dead! but.... Must try the beans and rice, very well cooked perfect seasoning!

One of their better outlets. I quite like their bowls and nachos. Have eaten here quite often. Even though I feel they've reduced the quantity over time, the staff will be a somewhat generous if you nudge them.
Tried tacos from here.. I like their tacos with corn paneer filling.. Tacos was not crunch as i was expecting but it was soft but still yummy. Not too heavy not too light .. It was good. Mango flavour on tacos was also good

Since I work in Rmz, I am a regular at this place. The mini rice bowl is my favorite. The pink nimbu paani is the most refreshing drink I had in my entire life. The service is fast and the people are very friendly.
I really like your Burrito and have ordered it multiple times. The choice of ingredients were really impressive. The nacho chips were also very crisp on home delivery, however the rice bowl lacked the same level of taste. It was too saucy and a very small portion of rice to soak it all up. I remember the rice bowl tasting better a while ago. I'm hoping this was a one time thing because I want to order good Mexican food again. Please make guacamole available all the time.

Huge bowl. Amazing taste. Nice environment to sit and enjoy a quiet burrito of a rice bowl.. the Barbeque chicken was cooked to perfection. Definitely going back again.
Not a big fan of Mexican food, but still went to try out for Lunch. The bowls are self customized so you can add the flavors you like and that is what makes this place perfect. I ate here regularly the prices are fair and the bowls are really filling. Even the snachos are amazing.
The restaurant provides good, healthy and tasty food at a reasonable price. You would not exactly find the food to be pure mexican, but deserves a try nonetheless.
A place for a good, quick lunch at RMZ Infinity. The Burritos are wholesome and filling. Must try items are, the Mexican samosa ( I love samosas) and the pink nimbu pani.

I've been here on multiple occasions and am almost a regular now. California Burrito is one of the most affordable places you can have a fulfilling meal at, while getting acquainted with the cuisine of another country at the same time.
Review - Delicious rice bowls and nachos, very affordably prices. I am yet to try out their other offerings. The lure of the rice bowl somehow always prevents me from doing so.
Taste - The fact that you can customize a rice bowl doesn't leave much scope to hold them accountable for the taste of the entire dish but the taste of what you whipped up together. It is delicious, and finger licking good. I sometimes ask them to add the spicy chilli beans instead of the other variant to spice up the dish.
Ambience and seating - A cute space right in front of the restaurant with bar stools and a small wooden table attached to glass through which you can look at the waterfall area of RMZ. Great decor and paint as well. Very quiet.
Staff - Pleasant and courteous, non-judgemental.
Pricing - very affordable. You could have dinner here for the price of a roll elsewhere.
Variety - There's just different variants of the base dish, with which you would get different combinations of fillings and toppings. I don't know, maybe Mexican food works this way. They should add more variety to the menu.
This outlet of CB is located at the ground floor of RMZ Infinity complex which is my office as well. Have been to this joint quite a number of times and am always fine with what's on the plate or bowl they serve. The options are standard as in any other CB outlet and nothing more or less is there on offer.
The spacing is not that much as it's made to fit inside a tech park however, the service is smooth and prompt. The price is something I'm not too much friendly of cause at Rs 160-250, you'll get a range of options from mini bowl to full size one and that's enough for an adult but I feel that the rates can be more reasonable considering the quantity which is on offer. Quality is optimum here and so is tidiness and the ambience.
Overall, a decent choice for both insider as well as for people visiting the site. During lunch hours, it gets too crazy inside as the place doesn't have a lot of seating space.
Quick Review: We had a portion of nachos and portion of chicken tacos. Loved the nachos till the last bite. The nachos were good and seemed very fresh. The burrito was very basic but none the less, delicious. If youre looking for some authentic mexican food, this isn't the place youre looking for. Its not bad, just not authentic but has an Indian touch to it. Indo - mexican if you must?
I am a big-time fan of their burrito and the rice bowl. It can always be customized to suit our taste, and so I like it even more. I have always got it home-delivered. It comes in a great packaging. The only drawback for the delivery is that they take at least an hour to deliver, so be mindful of that if you go for home delivery option, hence the "4" rating.
For someone who likes Mexican food like I do, this place will not disappoint you. Since you can customise your food, you have options to eat just what you prefer to eat. The burritos are very filling. I love the rice bowl and the variants. The first time I tried, there was this satisfaction of having the healthy and tasty fresh food. I usually don't like chains but this one had me going back it to a lot!
Just love the ambience and the food. I usually have the rice bowl. I just love it and will want to have it at least once a month. It fills you up real nice with a very decent price. Value for money. Friendly staff. Great place. The ambience of RMT infinity adds to it.
Situated just beside the Starbucks outlet on old madras road, this one is not crowded yet the food was amazing. The staff was courteous. The experience was nice.

I always make it a point to stop by RMZ Infinity atleast once a week since it was on my way home. RMZ has a decent selection of food outlets ( Food court and stand alone) are not too bad for us weary tired office goers!
This time I decided to try out the Rice bowl (burritos are painful to eat in a hurry) with the chicken combo. What attracts me to this chain of outlets is that we can have our choice of toppings and fillings.
Visited this place for 1st time and the staff too very kind to help us out with the food options available. Food tastes nice. Will definitely come back for yummy burritos.

I am immensely jealous of people working in RMZ Infiniti because of the huge number of options they have for office lunch. California Burrito is one such place where you get a wholesome nutritious meal at a very less budget. I believe that Mexican cuisine is very similar to Indian cuisine and trust me it is true. When I bit into my Caribbean Chicken Burrito, it was an explosion of so many different refreshing flavors, that it blew my mind. This is a gem of a place with good music, good service and nothing much of an ambience. Worth every buck.

Like the name says it all , if you happen to go here try their burrito which is pretty filling and tastes good. The regular sized burrito is quite huge but they've a mini sized one too. Its located in RMZ buidling in the basement whic has plenty of seating area. Tried their carribean grilled Chicken Burrito which was good . Friend of mine ordered a Salad which comes in a huge bowl and quantity is worth the price. Place is self service and Subway style kinda outlet where you choose toppings of your choice and make your own burrito.
A copy of chipotle Mexican grill in United states. But you don't get burritos here and they are trying to do a good job. Their condiments are good and serving some good variety of salsa.
Try their soft taco or burrito or bowl...all are good...folks if ur missing chipotle, you could visit this place to fulfill the craving!

Friday night as I was returning home wanted to eat something healthy. So my friend and I visited this place. Parking was easy as RMZ infinity has lot of empty slots.
The ambience is a little gloomy. They can brighten the place a bit. Anyway the burrito bowl with chicken and burrito was great as usual. Took all the ingredients without the pickle. Taste awesome. Took the non spicy version as the spicy looked really spicy.
Great healthy food in reasonable price and also you can hang out in RMZ infinity Bay or near the fountains .. great place give it a try.
When I entered this restaurant at my office I thought it was just a normal Mexican cuisine restaurant ... and when I had the rice bowl here and it was just superb and mesmerising. .. This is on the basement level (0 level) of RMZ Infinity office complex (Old Madras Road - bang opposite Gopalan Mall). The place has as small seating place (max 25 people can seat at any point). The ambience is ordinary but good enough for a place of this genre.
Its a self service outlet (akin to Subway model) and the service is organised and quick.Though I thought billing counter could have two people in peak hours. They explain the concept well.
Hardcore Mexican outlet known well for its healthy food. They have five main options but the most selling is a rice bowl or a burrito. The allow one non veg option (chicken for filler) and two veg options (potato and paneer). There are a variety of other top ups like salsa, salads, beans etc. Overall a good concept and food. Though I felt that the taste was flat and I have had better Mexican bowls (though not in India).

I have been visiting this place for more than a couple of years and I must say I have always found the food here to be fresh. This really is something that needs to be appreciated. The service by itself is good. The staff are friendly and almost always wear a smile on their face ( who doesn't like that !)
Not a lot of variety and having been to this place since its inception, I have been quite weary of their rather quick successions of price hikes on their menu. Nevertheless they now seem to have settled at an above average pricing and looking at the quality and quantity in most instances, I'm not gonna complaint.
I find myself frequenting the mini rice bowl option of theirs a lot. With a mix of rice, choice of either chicken or paneer / potato , beans , pico and sour cream .. This hits the sweet spot for me in terms of Mexican taste and quantity. The nachos here are another hot selling commodity.

I had a Mini-Veg Paneer spicy burrito with beans, tomato, onion, creme added and is sufficient as a meal. It costs Rupees 120. Paneer was not fresh. One can add topings for extra cost. Staff should be able to explain the variety, if required.
Have visited this place couple of times. The burrito bowl is an interesting combo, though the non-veg bowl is almost entirely veg. Unlimited soft drinks is an added advantage.
It is a great place for a quick lunch. Think of it as a Subway place but you do your tricks with rice, beans and all things mexican. Sauces are salsa, guacamole and the likes. You choose your bowl, burritos, nachos, top it of with vegetables, meat and sauce and voila you get it. The lemonade goes nicely with the bowl. So if you are looking for a quick bite, this place is a good one to try out.
This place is in our office premise and for last 7 months I have been having my lunch here. You can expect same taste and service over and over again. I usually order mini bowl (spicy chicken+ non spicy rajma + barbecue potato). I have still not got over with the taste of the food here. It comes with a combo as well which is pocket friendly - you get pink nimbu pani and nachos. First timers should try their combos. Love this place !

Went here for the first time ... Had a big bowl of nachos ... And man o man was it good? It was awesome... Loved it.. The entire experience ... Service.. taste.. Everything.
We ordered in from here when we had friends over for an impromptu dinner. We all stuck to getting our personal bowls. Sadly guacamole was not available but we were excited about our bowl choices nonetheless. We also ordered Mexican samosas. The parcels arrived in good shape without leakages. The serving was extremely good and filling! Though the nachos did get soggy which is inevitable. All our bowls had a nacho base with personalised ingredients. We were a little disappointed with the samosas since the only thing Mexican about it was the salsa dip without which it tasted like any other normal mini samosa. Will try the other bowl variations and different menu items in the future.

They have option for small bowl too when you just want to go for a small evening snack instead of a meal.
I have been to many CBs across Bangalore and have always had the best experience. For the US returns, if you miss Chipotle, California Burrito is the closest you can get. I love that it's fast, filling, tasty, healthy and still relatively light on the pocket.
But if I had to look for improvements, there are a few I can think of.
Lettuce: Especially for the salad bowl, romaine lettuce would work better.
Spicy Salsa: Too much garlic, leaves a bad after taste
TOBASCO please: Capsico who?? Yes it's different.
Service: Needs major improvement. Especially when busy, I've seen it pile up, mainly because of one billing counter who takes the orders for chips, drinks and other sides. And sometimes we have to wait for either the rice, chicken or the sauted veggies to arrive.
Missing: Desserts (Tres Leches), hard shell tacos, Corona and Mojito: Enough said.
All that said, cleanliness is really good.
I eat my lunch here almost every weekday. I have mostly tried the chicken salads/rice bowl. I like barbecued chicken salad the most.

Been there a few times since I work in the same campus. The prices have been increased by 40-50% recently. Used to be great value for money earlier. Food is decent. Plenty of options around toppings and base. Must try the mini burrito or rice combos with corn chips.
I am biased :D love this place... anyday can have a hearty bowl of rice and have a food hangover... paneer with the spicy bean gravy and extra cheese... and the UNLIMITED COKE.... :D just the thought that u can drink as much of fizz u can... feels fab... me and a friend used to drink coke until the paper cup they give us is soaked and soggy... :P:P a meal that I anticipate for ny one serve during the weekend...

I first came across Mexican food during my trip to the States. It's been my favourite since.
This place being in the food court of my office at RMZ Infinity, is always a consideration for choice of lunch place.
I have tried both the salad bowl and the burrito forms, all the times with grilled chicken. Choice of vegetables had always been mood dependant. I have always added the sour cream and guacamole. Those 2 unhealthy things bring the taste difference to an otherwise not so exciting mix of things.
Quantity is good enough to fill your stomach well for lunch, if not overfill.
Overall verdict, it's a so far so good Mexican fast food joint.
This is one of our favorite places for a quick lunch. Their mini burritos are not too heavy yet filling enough for a work day. We loved the spicy sauce they used to add in the burritos, but recently they stopped it.

Had Mexican food for the first time. I tried the rice bowl combo and salad which was looking delicious but didn't meet the expectations when I tasted it. I liked the pink nimbu pani the most. Different drink and refreshing especially for this summer heat. Ambiance is nothing great to talk of. Slow service. But u get to make ur choice for the toppings - both veg and non veg. Although extra cost for additional toppings. And additional topping is required coz what they initially put is very less. Altogether for a first timer, it was pretty decent place to eat
Been to burrito just on my way to have a coffee at Starbucks in rmz..a small place with limited options but really nice food..not a place to hangout with frds but go there to just enjoy ur meal...I loved maxican samosa..
I went there with a friend and we were both trying Mexican for the first time. Unable to decide what to order, I asked the waiters there for help and they patiently explained all about Mexican food and presented us with amazing Nachos and Burritos. We had our own choice of toppings and we made good use of that. The food was very tasty, amount was sumptuous and the price was standard. I am in love with Mexican food now. I plan to munch on their delicacies many more times.

I like CALIFORNIA BURRITO because of their two products in its menu.
First one is "Choose Your Meal" where you can your choice.I usually prefer combinations with Rice Bowl / Buritto / Salad depending on my appetite and mood.
The second one is their Bottomless or unlimited as they say drinks.Pink Nimbu Pani is one my favorite as it is refreshingly different and innovative.
From my office,we usually visit this food court before 12:30 so that there is less crowd and decision making is easier.
Service is also slow around 1 pm during lunch hours.

A long pending review that was waiting to be written! An ideal choice if you want some good Mexican food in a healthy sort of way. For those who are fans of the american joint 'chipotle' you will enjoy eating here as well. Simple & no fuss and clean ambience. This place is all about food. The concept is make your own burrito or a bowl. You can choose a base of rice & lettuce (rice bowl) or nacho chips (nacho chips) and top it with all the Mexican condiments. Well there is one Indian element here - paneer! But that's how you can really draw a lot of veggies to come eat. You can top the base with spicy or bbq'ed paneer or chicken. Both are well spiced and non oily. Then some spicy Beans, fajitas, lettuce, corn, peppers, chilli's, spicy/nonspicy salsa, etc...
There you are with one big meal but a lot healthier than anything fried. You can add sour cream, cheese or guacamole which is chargeable separately.
What I like about all my 3 visits to this place is freshness of their ingredients & condiments + fact that staff isn't reluctant to give generous portions of the toppings!
Also you can roll all these in a big burrito or 3 tacos instead of a bowl.
They have now introduced mini burritos which is great option if you are moderate hungry. New addition is Peri Peri potato which they had run out when we last visited. Their Mexican Kathi roll is nice with a lovely spicy sauce.
Average beverages but good to sip along as you hear and taste the lovely crunch of your meal!

However we generally head here for dinner after feeding our Lil one at home.
For kids what they can enjoy is watching & chasing the ducks outside in main Centre of rmz building.

I visited this place on 20-Dec-2013 (evening). This was my first visit to California Burrito.
The outlet at RMZ Infinity Campus, is quite small (it's more like a fast food center).

Previously I had tried Burritos in Taco Bell and I had liked them. The ones served here too are good (customized).
If you are in a hurry and need a bite of stomach filling food, then this is the place you have to visit :)
The staff who attended to our request were courteous and polite throughout.
Note: The lemon juice (it was pink), is actually a little over-priced (personal opinion).

A solid 4.5.. and all for the food. It's not a place you should go to if you are looking for a nice setting. But if you like Mexican food, you should try this. I've been there quite a few times, but never walked out without a content smile on my face! Try the rice bowls and burritos - excellent! My standard order, the rice bowl with spicy paneer, a lot of beans, jalapenos and a load of cheese! If you're considering eating at McDonalds or KFC (both of which are just a few meters away from this place), I'd highly recommend you try this place. The only reason you might not like this place is if you don't like Mexican food in general.
Standard Caliburri in RMZ infinity. I have work on Tuesday so Taco Tuesday works perfectly for me. Staff is very responsive and food is good. Try out the Burrito bowl with guacomole 🥑.

Here u must try BBQ Burrito chicken and store is maintained well . staff interaction with customers is excellent and they are kind and store manager handles the story better evan in rush hours an d good job team of burrito
Nice ambience but ltl choice for vegetarian. For non-vegetarian, u can just dig in....
UPDATE: They have modified the pricing boards on walls behind to give a clear picture of charges, which is a much needed welcome change. Hence improving the rating to 4 Stars. 1 star still less for the value for money, you get when you order for mini bowl/burrito.
OLD Review: The food quality is fine, but they are basically cheats. They don't clarify the prices of various possible selections on the board that they have put up behind, so you end up assuming things. They won't even tell about price difference, even when they ask about what to put. This is simply taking benefit of customer's naivety. This has happened 2-3 times with me and I even told them about this, but I guess rarely people complain about such behavior and they continue.

California Burrito offers easy and quick meals with a variety of fillings - ranging from locally sourced rice, beans, potato, chicken, diced fresh vegetables and salsa - all with varying flavours. They keep refreshing the menu regularly as well. The average wait time in line is about 3-4 minutes and the ordering and food preparation process is about 2 minutes, making this a very efficient place to have a decent, filling meal.
My colleagues and I who go to this eatery have rarely been disappointed with the food they serve.
This place is a safe heaven and a reserved back up for me whenever I don't carry my lunch. Although we have plenty of options in the premise but I never gave a second thought to any other place than this one. One of the signature item they offer is rice bowl which is filled with amazing stuff like veggies, cream, cheese, beans, paneer, guacamole and what not. It's filling, super tasty and quite healthy which doesn't allow you to feel guilty of skipping home cooked food. I have also tried their Quesadillas and burritos which were equally amazing to satisfy your taste buds to the core. The best part of this place is the cleanliness and the hygiene they maintain throughout. Lastly their service is also quick and inspite of a long queue, you are served with blink of an eye!!!
Healthy food very fresh food
The spicy chicken rice bowl used to be my favorite. But they have stopped it and introduced mexican chicken. It is ok. Two things can be better. The rice bowl is generally cold (I visit only on Sundays, not sure about other days). I would prefer it to be warm/hot. The should be option to heat the rice bowl. And they should do something about the cutlery. The baby spoon/fork are not good enough.
Delicious food but deaf staff. They can't hear what you're saying and they'll wait till you complete your sentence for annoying with you abt it. Please hire decent staff who understand english FFS. Else everything's like any other Cali burrito outlet.
