Food is always fantastic here. You can visit this place with family and friends. Nice decor with a bar restaurant option available. Cuisine is freshly prepared and tastes good.
Too proper Chinese to suit Indian taste buds. Vegetarian's suffer. God bless em, bless me. But the staff is very friendly and ambience is great. But food is above all.
Its a nice cosy place.the staff is sweet.Dont be surprised if you find it empty even on a weekend, i like the food here especially the fact that you get to make your own chinese bowl.nice place to grab some food when you are sloshed and just want a table to eat and sit in peace.i liked their chicken.loved their veggies.
This place is on 100 ft road, so pretty easy to spot. Went here with friends & family for dinner. Food was good but service was not. Really need to change their attitude towards customers. Staff must be well trained and polite to give an overall pleasant dinning experience.
Place is small and, but very nice ambiences, Greetings was perfect, escorted to table, made comfortable in seating, presentation of menu was good, Food was ultimate.. we loved the taste and the quantity we felt was bit high and the price was average. 2k is a perfect for a couple with alcohol and with new GST charges.. stir fried mushroom curry was a suggestion of steward and was good with Noodles..
Will surly visit again when we get a chance
Nice place for some authentic Asian dishes. The décor is really good and the service was excellent. Ended up having a great time here. Kudos.
First thing that amazes you is the lightly lit decent ambiance .Along with the good taste , I would rate them 5/5 for their hospitality as the staff was super attentive .
They did not disappoint. I absolutely loved the Kung Pao chicken and the chicken fried noodles. The ambience of the place is quite lovely too. It feels homely and I'd love to visit this restaurant again.
We have been to Ginger Tiger many times, only for dinner and have opted for the unlimited bowl option. This comes with a starter and soup (both limited options) and both the soup and starter are passable.
The real deal is the stir fry with your option of veggies, meat, sauces and condimets with either rice or noodles. I have always enjoyed the stir fry bowls and the experience has been consistent.
What needs improvement - The starters are usually not appeatizing, this needs to change.
The value for money cant be rated high, but cant fault them due to the location of the restaurant.
We'll another Chinese restaurant, good location, decor is fusion :pub with Chinese touch , a wall full of Chinese vases, mainly you can find them at Hunan Province.seating are comfortable with adequate lighting goes with styling .
Food taste is kind of unique, following more
Pan oriental flavor ( Thai, Vietnam ) than mainland (I mean China mainland, not restaurants).
We tried crispy fish in chili sauce, Phuket street chili chicken, Ginger Tiger Chicken Manchurian n two type noodles n rise .
Serving no Bear for last two weeks!!
, a definite recommend place for who love Chinese ( not Indian style) food.
Staff are courteous, ready to listen all request , however we find service is little sloppy.. good if you're not in hurry.
Well they allow you to custom your order, specially to avoid any allergic or accommodate kids special.Enjoy your time here.
great place with great food. Their jasmine tea after the meal really completes it. They had wonderful selection in their menu. Everything taste s fresh and perfect. Bit heavy in the pocket but its great place. Try spring rolls and dimsums.
Finally went for their lunch buffet. Nice cosy setup in Indiranagar. Buffet is 399 plus taxes for Veg, good variety.
In the veg I had the Tofu, baby corn and potatoes.
They also have a live station where u can decide your dish, be it with rice or noodles, different sauces and ingredients.
Only drawback was the staff and the fact they did not have soap in the toilet =P. Their service was good, but the communication and awareness was a bit of a let down.
Value for money. Will visit soon again and improve my rating.
Been for dinner here some time back. The food is nice with well behaved staff. The ambience is nice. Buffet was marketed more here. Unlimited stir fry bowl is the thing for which you can surely visit the place :)
Good food, drinks and service. Price is excellent for the food. However, ambience kept is for dimly lit, personally feel would be good if they brightened it up.
Awesome chinese rice bowl with all good amount of veggies and meat. But momo's should be more soft it was bit hard we found. They should start weekend buffet.
Service is really quick.. ! A cosy place to be. . Food was good enough, nothing extraordinary though. Friendly on your pockets. I liked the garlic tossed noodle! Loved the blend
A very good and nice place to dine. The staff was very courteous and helpful in making us choose our food. On the other hand the restraunt had a low, the drinks were not good at all and the food had lot of oil as you can see the amount of oil used on your plate. Over all for a decent Chinese meal ginger tiger is an ideal place.
The concept of an unlimited stir-fry bowl is an absolute treat! The variety of ingredients and meats helps cater to everyone's tastes. The staff is courteous and the decor is splendid.
A cozy place with some elements if tasty food. I liked the idea of unlimited stir fry ball first and the bowl was tasty too with tour choice of ingredients. But later when i done the math I found this is expensive comparatively.
Starters we have ordered was not up to the mark and the mocktail was pathetic (I have ordered ginger tiger exotica).
Service was good, the staffs are friendly and courteous
Well prepared dishes. But offlate i saw less of alacarte options and more of buffet being marketed. Well located and valet is available. Good place for a group lunch/dinner too.
The ambience is okayish i will give 3 out of 5
Food is good, we ordered Assorted cantonese style mushrooms
Chilli oyster Fish
Hakka Noodles
Fried Rice
But I didnt like Assorted cantonese style mushrooms, it was very plain
Service is also good.
A nice ambience with fast service.... Great food options and nice fresh taste of food....nice portions of food....Very good quality ingredients and fresh non-veg items. Almost a 5 rated place only if the table attendant was more knowledgeable about menu and smarter.
Unlimited stir-fry bowl is where the party's at!!!!
I could keep going back for the unlimited stir-fry bowls.... you get to chooses the veggies, the proteins (like egg, chicken, fish, etc), the sauces, the spice levels and the carbs (rice or noodles). (EXPERT TIP: You can even choose not to include rice or noodles in the stir fry and have them give you a bowl of just your veggies and proteins!!!)
I love a lot of things a la carte but nothing is more bang for bucks than the stir-fry bowls. the thing that makes it unlimited is, you can finish up your first bowl and then choose a whole other bunch of flavors and veggies and ask for a second helping. You can keep this going till you are full.
Once you get the hang of it, you'll keep going back, like me.
Ginger Tiger is an awesome buffet joint if you are looking to explore some good Chinese and Asian cuisines. I won't say it has a great taste but it will not disappoint you. The veg buffet is somewhere closer to Rs. 620 and Non-veg around Rs. 720. But I think as per the quantity served, they were little overpriced.
Now for the things to try. Don't miss out the mouthwatering Dimsum/Dumplings which has the perfect blend of veggies and chicken. The Crispy fish in Chilli Sauce is something that shouldn't be missed. The clay pot chicken with mushrooms and lemon chicken would be the best starters to with Dumplings. The PadThai with Stir fried Hunan vegetables is perfect treat you can give to your taste buds. Do add the Thai Penang Curry to your main course to ensure you are filling your senses. For desserts we were served with Honey Glazed Noodles 🍜, Death By Chocolate shots and Pineapple custard 🍮 to end the buffet on a sweeter note.
All an all it's an awesome experience but loses an extra star for being slightly over pricey. Do give it a shout out when you near to this place.
Been there a couple of weeks ago. Polite service staffs, good food, slightly over priced and a really nice ambience suiting the type of cusinse.
Lovely ambience and food. It took some time for me to get the food. With the bill they gave me fortune cookies. I will be going again. Perfect interior décor for a nice date
The go to Chinese restaurant for our family. It's incredibly peaceful to go there and have their hot Manchow soup.
Sizzling dumplings are must have. Everything is good . Never have been disappointed.
Food: 4.5/5
Ambience: 4.5/5
Service: 5/5
I had been here a month ago with my hubby. Its a small neat place on the 100ft road where they serve decent Chinese food.
Soup : Veg Manchow soup with crispy noodles, nothing great or bad about it
Starter : Vegetarian spring rolls, very tasty and just the right quantity for two!
Main Course : Chilli garlic fried rice was very good and we ordered kung pao vegetables to go with it. So regarding kung pao vegetable, we were asked if we would like it spicy or mild and we opted for spicy. Omg OMG!! there were so many red chillies that I was literally crying throughout the dinner. It was indeed tasty but tooo fiery for my mouth, nose and ear. Be careful while opting to make your meal spicy. You may end up asking for loads of tissues like I did.
Dessert : Didn't find anything appealing, would recommend them to increase their menu options.
PS: staff is not trained well to suggest the customers about the favourites in the menu. I believe that this really encourages customers to try something new and keep a lasting memory of the restaurant.
Summary: Pretty decent place for thai/chinese
We went to Ginger tiger as part of a team lunch post a visit of a team mate from US (always better when the company pays right?)
Order : The lunch buffet
Food (4/5) : The buffet comprises of about two veg and non veg starters each, 3-4 main course veg / non-veg dishes each and not many desserts. Not sure if the menu changes every day but the crispy chicken starter was delicious with the fresh papaya salad. The hot veg/non-veg momos served at the table are worth a try. A version of freshly prepared grilled spicy tofu and grilled spicy fish is also served at the table. Assortment of crispy vegetables along with spicy potatoes available at the counter was a fitting beginning to the meal. All of these are served with a spicy sauce which adds to the tanginess. Apart from these, a number of salads are also available at the counter but probably not worth filling up on those when there are better things to try. :)
The main course comprised of varied noodle preparations, rice preparations and really colorful gravies. Some of the rice items were in fact quite spicy for my team mates; I am mostly used to high spice quotient and so it was not a problem for me. The thai curry with steamed rice, which happens to be thai specialty dish was especially yum. Apart from that, the shanghai rice was spicy and the noodles was decent enough.
The desserts comprised of ice cream, 2 varieties of pastries and crispy honey coated wontons. Not much variety but whatever was present , tasted fine and was a good end to a hearty meal. (also we were quite full , so it did not matter much :))
The drinks that we ordered was that of Vodka mocktail, kinda of expensive but tasted fine.
Highly Recommended : The starters are pretty good.
Ambiance (4/5) : The ambiance is good with some decent lighting and colorful backlit vases arranged on the walls. Dimly light paper chandeliers from the ceiling add to the effect. Two inner chambers separated from the central chamber can accommodate groups of 8 but overall the restaurant is kind of small for big groups to sit together. (as we found out since we are group of 24).
Service (3/5) : Service was a bit slow; probably because all the starters (tofu , momo's etc) are cooked fresh. Still slightly faster would have been better though with more serving staff. Also the alcohol menu arrived almost an hour after we asked for it. :)
Value for Money (4/5) : Pretty economical given the price of the lunch buffet.
Visit again : yes

Small little place in heart of Indiranagar. Liked the overall feel of the restaurant. Nothing fancy ~ run of the mill indo-chinese food. Simple yet tasty. Cheers!!

Indiranagar is gradually becoming the one top spot in Bangalore for finding quality food. Ginger tiger is one of the places responsible for that. Finding great tasting Chinese food on a budget is a utilarian task in this city, but this warm cozy, faintly lighted place with the perfect ambience for a family dinner gets pretty close. The chicken is cooked perfectly, which is what I personally look for, try the Hunan Basil Chicken, I'm in love with the dumplings. The food is as authentically Chinese as much our Indian palates can be satisfied with. I was a bit sceptical about the stir fry bowl, yes but I took a few combinations and they all worked for me. Seafood got my dad's approval, I don't like it. All in all, definitely would recommend it to anybody on a moderate budget and a soul that the words "Made in China" appeal to on a spiritual level. :p
Good oriental food and well made drinks . Especially like the stir fry bowl.
Would have given a five star rating but it's s bit high on the pricing.
Service could also be a bit better . It seems to have dropped .
But do try it . Recommended

We had a lunch buffet. It was decently priced. Few items in the buffet were extremely good and few were bad. It was a mix of both.Desserts were quite awesome. Wild visit the pace in future.
Brilliant place to have Chinese food, went here with friends and enjoyed the meal, Ordered Dumplings,Kung Pao Chicken and Fried Rices. The Food was excellent, the service was excellent. Worth a Visit again.
Had a nice family lunch here. Really liked the black pepper lamb and the pan fried prawn noodles. The service was fast and cordial. Thumbs up!
Went to Ginger Tiger for a birthday dinner. Was very happy with the service and the food. Special mentions to Teriyaki Chicken with Oyster Sauce and Schezwan Baby Corn and Sizzling Dumpling.
However we found that the price for two is a little misleading. Instead of 950 it should be 1200 for two or something.
All in all very happy.
Will definitely visit again.
Went here for lunch on a weekday. They have a good spread of buffet. The food seemed good, and as the name suggests they have good pan asian food. The best part is the customization which is you can choose the basic sauces and proteins and ask the chef to make it. Slightly above average is what I would rate this.
Another Chinese restaurant in Indira Nagar. The trouble for restaurant owners in that area is that there is just so much of competition that great food, quick service and reasonable ambience is a straightaway given. To score higher, every restaurant has to have that X factor, which is not really in anyone's control.
Ginger Tiger is a nice restaurant. There were two of us, and we ordered Crispy Fish in Chilli Sauce and Hot n' Sour Chicken soup for starters. Fish was great and the chicken soup just hot enough. For main course, we ordered Lamb Chili Oysters with veg Hakka Noodles. Oyster sauce was not very prominent but the lamb was well cooked and the gravy still tasted good.
Service was quick and overall ambience was nice. A tad expensive, and the soup + starters + main course cost us nearly 1500 for two people, but given the quality of the experience, would say worth it.
I was eager to enjoy a nice Sunday lunch with some Pan Asian delicacies and Ginger Tiger made it all work out!
I had ordered -
- Cambodian Prawns - 4.5
- Phuket street style chicken - 4
- Penang style noodles 4.5
It was a meal I enjoyed very much and I hope you all get there and enjoy as much!
The service could be improved in my opinion but still enjoyed the experience.
Nice and small restaurant, very well maintained and clean kitchen (you can see it if your seated inside).
Honestly in terms of taste have had better Chinese and for the price they charge you next time i would try out another Chinese joint instead of Ginger tiger.
Nothing Much to go back too.
We want there on a Saturday afternoon and had a very heavy lunch that day. This place is somewhat hidden on the famous 100 feet road but do add it to your list. It has a very nice ambience and the food is equally good. A must go place for all the spicy food lovers
Went here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon with friends..The first impression was really nice as it had a beautiful ambience and well arranged seating..though we had to wait for sometime before we could get a place..
Talking about the food ..the starters we ordered were just ok, nothing great..the main course was much better as compared to the starters and soup... chilli cashew chicken and garlic noodles both were good ..the hot and sour veg was simple and nice..portions were decent and presentation of the food was also good enough..
Overall a nice experience..if u r finding a place with good ambience, nice food and one which is light on the pocket in indiranagar, then you should consider coming here..😊
Another really good Chinese outlet in Indiranagar...delicious food n the date n fig pudding!! died n went to heaven with my first bite of it :-D. Tried the Sichuan prawn, black pepper lamb, chicken with shiitake mushrooms n hakka noodles...all extremely good. Their service though is tad slow and they should improve on that.
This place is nothing less than a delight for someone fond of the 'Godly' Chinese Cuisine. The ambiance is quiet, sophisticated and the aroma of fresh Chinese food through the Chef's window only adds to the taste.Monchow soup with Crispy Noodles is one major recommendation. For starters we ordered Phuket Style Chilli Chicken which would probably be my go to dish now.The main course was Chilly Oyester Chicken and Hakka Noodles which were also a Yes yes.The stomach had called quits but the heart didn't.
Went here for an office lunch mainly for the live wok. It was the first place where I have seen a live wok.
The seating is nice and perfectly lit. We had the option of buffet as well as the wok. Tried the starters at the buffet which included honey chilli potato, mushrooms, some chicken- don't remember the specifics. What was the highlight was the wok. You have the option to walk up to the chefs and choose your comination of ingredients with rice and noodles. There was a large array of options of both meat- chicken, prawns etc, veggies- tofu, bakchoy to name a few and sauces- pepper, mustard, teriyaki... I was slightly overwhelmed but the chefs are nice and guide you to make the right choices without coming up with something absolutely inedible. You are also allowed to order as many bowls as you want with different combinations and choices. There were good options for dessert too.
What I loved best was the wok and I have been trying to find other places with the option without much luck!
Good place relaxing and having a conversation along with interesting food. We tried the unlimited bowl where you get a portion of soup and starter. Interesting post is it choose what you want on your rice or noodles, and get an option to change those for your next bowl.
Will plan for menu next time, they seem to have nice variety. Can improve menu of desserts.
More than the food, loved the place and the lighting... Feel at peace.
Tried this place recently and it was a good experience overall. They have a varied menu from Chinese to Thai and Vietnamese, their highlight being the stir fry bowls! You get to choose your own veggies, proteins and sauces that your chef will mix up for you. The chilli garlic fried rice wasn't as tasty or spicy as I'd expected it to be. The salads were delicious! A little more improvement with the service would be desirable as it was a bit too slow. Left with a happy tummy. :)
This one is on my favourite list! Been here many many times! Love their stir fry bowl and their dimsums!
Finding a place is easy and I prefer sitting outside ! Overall, if you are looking for Chinese I highly recommend this
I went here for a lunch buffet last week. The ambience is fairly good and service is prompt.
Coming to food, it wasnt so good. There were very less options, especially for vegetarians. The chicken soup tasted like rasam. It was nothing like chicken soup. in the main course, chicken and fish curry was same, except for chicken and fish pieces. The fried rice was also not good.
But potato fingers, fish and dumplings were really good in starters. Overall , a good experience.
The food is damn tasty.Probably one of those places where there is variety in Chinese and effort made to produce something different. The only setback is the quantity of the food served. Excellent service as well.
a decent place to have chinese in Indiranagar. Good place for get together as it has a big dining area and even live kitchen and buffet. not many are aware of the place so easy to get a place and even a fortune cookie :P
Terrific food. Absolutely delicious. The entire of concept of picking and choosing your favourite ingredient to make the lip smacking bowl is fantastic. Must try
Ginger Tiger is an awesome buffet joint if you are looking to explore so good Chinese and Asian cuisines.
All an all it's an awesome experience but loses an extra star for being slightly over pricey. Do give it a shout out when you near to this place.
It's an amazing place for lunch/dinner, has great and healthy food. The soup was heaven! And the buffet is just amazing.
Very friendly staff.
Food and ambience was absolutely great!! The "stir fry meal" adds to the buffet a new flavour. Various food options available. You can request some item if it's not in the buffet and they make it for you. Mocktail - "Ginger Tiger exotica" was refreshing. In starters there was "chicken skewers", it was truly mouth watering.
Unlimited Rice/Noodles bowl is a must try here
Get the unlimited Stir-fry Bowls bowls for dinner. It comes with a starter and a soup after which you can customize your stir-fry bowl with the type of proteins, vegetables, and the sauces you want.
Once you finish your first bowl, you can order another with a completely different set of ingredients that you didn't try the first time, and you can do this till you can't eat no more.
This place is fantastic for dinner, and for dessert you can try the Chocolate Spring Rolls.
Authentic Chinese food and great service. Veritably one of the better Asian restaurants in town.
Managed to get unlimited food and drinks on NYE for 1.6k which is a steal in my books.
I went here around an year ago. It is a Chinese restaurant with the cuisines you would normally expect at one. I loved the decor and ambience. A thumbs up for the complimentary tea (which was awesome) and cookie.
Good food but sone how the bill calculations of the taxes don't add up.. my previous experience of the same last year was better... Service was cordial and good.
Ginger tiger is their stir frying (Asian cuisine) brand of JSM Corporation situated on 100ft road of Indiranagar. I was invited by wow tables to experience their menu and hospitality thanks for that.
Starting from the valet they know how to receive their guest. I reached their by 8 o clock the place is well crowded on a weekday as well. That shows their popularity in market. Wow table is giving a chance to everyone to experience a well planned some kind of preplaced menu. For which they can afford at a fine dining as well. That a good sign for food lovers and fine dine ventures as well.
I liked the ambience and upholstery they are very professional to maintain this. In menu I found soup of the day #Man chow soup so started with that. While that time executive chef of JSM Corporation joined me and briefed about his connections and about JSM Corporation.
More I will type soon please be in touch
Bon Appetite @Chef BB
Excellent food and hospitality. The quantity and quality both are excellent. For 2 people order 1 main and 1 side and that should be enough.
Decent place with variety of dishes to choose from.
We tried fried rice and Thai chicken and clear soup and everything was perfectly cooked and taste delicious. Will recommend to all.
The place has some edible Chinese food. Not the best but it's not the worst. Especially design your own meal plan.
