Lovely lunch spread. This restaurant opens only on the weekends and does total justice to the Coorgiw cuisine. From the Pandi curry to the ghee roast, the rotis and the desserts, both the caramel custard and tender coconut souffle. Loved the place for its delicious spread at an affordable price.

For an authentic home-cooked Coorgy style food, this small restaurant is the place to be. Located on the terrace of the owners' house, this place is easy to miss out on.
They serve their food as a buffet, hot from the kitchen and an extensive variety to gorge on.
We tried the Akki roti, served hot on the table with the smoked pork chili and Pandi curry. Both the Pork dishes were to die for. The Pandi curry had one of the most delicious myriads of flavors in terms of perfectly cooked spices. And the smokey texture of the Pork chilly was a treat. The mutton keema curry too was quite tasty, to be tried on with the pulao.
What was my favorite were the desserts. The caramel custard and the coconut souffle are to die for. The creamy texture of the souffle and the bitter-sweet syrup of the custard made us have seconds.
A pure authentic and highly mouth-watering spread of Coorgy cuisine is what this restaurant delivers. An additional edge is the quaint decor of the place as well, standing on a bamboo hut that lets the sunlight come in in abundance. And provides an exotic feel with decorated shrubs around.
Amazing ppl, amazing place and amazing food.
Head to The Restaurant Coorg in Indiranagar if you want to enjoy home cooked and authentic coorgy style food.
We have visited this restaurant multiple times now. The restaurant is on Sri Krishna temple road and it is quite easy to miss, turn on Google maps and you will be just fine.
What's on the buffet - noolputtu, akki roti (served hot on the table), chicken curry, two varieties of pork - pork fry and Pandi curry, two vegetable curries, rice , raita, salad, coconut souffle and caramel custard.
The pork is to die for. We visit this place always when we are in the mood to eat some good pork.
They do have beverages on offer at a nominal charge. They also have pickles on sale.
Nice coorgy food and ambiance is homely. You will get one of finest of Pork curries. They have variety of dishes on Buffet. Loved the dessert.Bit on expensive side.
They do not accept cards
.
This is a review of my second visit to this hidden gem in Indiranagar. They have a good buffet spread of authentic Coorgi delicacies. Their pork dishes were extremely tasty. There are options in chicken and veg as well, which range from 'ok' to 'very good'. The staples included Ghee Fried Rice, Akki Roti and Idiappam, all of which were very good. Don't forget to save some space for their yumm desserts. Both the Coconut Pudding and the Caramel Custard left us craving for more.
It's set in a terrace of the owner's family home. The ambience was very pleasant even in the afternoon heat.
The only negative point was that all the burners under the food containers were not turned on, hence some of the dishes were not hot. But that was just a minor blip in an otherwise awesome experience.

This my favourite place to have Akki Rotti, Pandhi (pork) curry and wild Mashroom curry. This place makes me feel nostalgic. Especially the wild Mashroom curry. They have buffet system with reasonable price. They are open only on the weekends.
A taste of Coorg, indeed.
The spread is as given in the menu, but we couldn't help craving for some bamboo shoot curry. The chilly pork is to die for.
The proprietor is very courteous and has done up the place well. The waiters are also very good and alert.
Truthfully, the place is a little expensive for the spread you get but the taste of everything is authentic, and a definite recommendation if you'd like to get a taste of what Kodava food is like when in Bangalore.
Special mention for the desserts!
The best Kodava cuisine in town, hands down. The decor gives a homely and cozy vibe and the people are friendly too. But the food is the real showstopper. The pandi curry is just amazing!
LOVE the set up. The ambience makes you feel as if you're in a quiet restaurant tucked away in a peaceful corner in coorg. But whats best is the personal touch the family adds. They make sure they talk to every person who walks in which I think is beautiful.
A wonderful place to go for a home cooked Kodagu cuisine. Nestled between bungalows on the 100 ft road of Indiranagar is this beautiful place The Restaurant Coorg. The dining serves a complete spread, which includes, 2 pork, 2 chicken, 3 vegetarian dishes, 2 salads, rice, akki roti, desserts, etc. All of it is home cooked, so you can be sure that it is very hygienic. The Pork curry and Chilly Fry are simply awesome!! For me it was the Tender Coconut Mousse that added the cherry on the top. After a few heavy rounds of pork, the mousse so light and airy just did the trick.
The host was extremely courteous and friendly, going around and talking to the guests. I must advise that people who will go with a want of something classy, might be let down, as it is a very simple setup and the highlight is the food.
However, the place is steeply priced, works to about Rs.800 per head. If the pricing can be worked, to about Rs.450 per head, sounds a decent bet.
Though the prices did kill the moment, but the food worked its magic.
They don't accept cards, pork lovers paradise, best Coorgi food in town....the desserts are nice too..don't forget to have the passion fruit juice
Damn I am addicted to this place! No matter how many times I go to their weekend buffet I always want more.
If you re a non vegetarian you must must must have pandi curry with Akki roti, and the beef fry.
And among the vegetarian food, jackfruit curry is a must try ❤️❤️❤️
Homley ambiance, since its run by a family who eat the same food as all their guests :)
Awesome 👍 place to be hang on , the food was delicious and very good, I have ever tried in my experience. Amazing i had a great night,we enjoyed a lot. That's was really a great full day.
A little gem of a restaurant in Indiranagar. A fixed menu buffett which combines the best of traditional coorghi cuisine including pandhi curry, chilly pork, chicken curry and the odd vegetarian dishes. Food is overall excellent and service very personalised. Its a family run place and they keep that touch very much alive. Dessert is tender coconut souffle and caramel custard, both excellent. May not be worth it for pure vegetarians but if you are a pork lover, this place is paradise. Have been there twice and loved it.
Amazing food. Went there quite some time back. Ah the amazing Suculent pork is one of the best i had.
Homly atmosphere and amazing host. The best part that all the good is prepared at home in a traditional way. Would recommend to everyone.
British apparently called Kodagu Coorg. In fact the people from Coorg are not Coorgis, but Kodavas. The cuisine is Kodava too and not Coorgi! And this restaurant is famous for Kodava cuisine :)
Situated on the road bang opposite Toit (Yes there is a divider in between though), the restaurant – Coorg is located on the rooftop of the folks who run this restaurant.
One of the few restaurants I have been visiting for a decade now. In fact I have no idea how many times I have visited. So this review is based on my last experience, Friday the 22nd Feb.
I love the interiors. The whole theme is a typical home in Coorg. Earthen shades, tiled roof showing the wooden beams, cane and wood furniture, display of art and artefact that represents Coorg. And the bamboo pole lamps are beautiful!
The food is a typical Kodava fare. What I like about this restaurant is it breaks the usual myth that Coorg food is all about non veg. Of course the first few dishes apart from Akki roti ( Unique neutral flavored, flame tossed rice rotis of Coorg served hot at the table), Kadumbutt ( rice dumplings), Nooputt (string hoppers), are Coorg style chicken curry, Pork curry and chili pork and probably fish curry.
But then on days like my last visit, there was a mix veg curry, Mushroom curry, Mangalore cucumber fry, unripe jackfruit fry, pineapple fry, mango curry, eggplant (Brinjal) curry all typical Coorg style.
And then there was a veg salad, chicken salad and a unique omelet curry. And for desserts the usual caramel custard and coconut soufflé. Ah not to mention their signature passion fruit juice. This isn’t part of the buffet though.
The Chicken curry is rich in coconut and pretty nice and the pork curry and chili pork is quite awesome and authentic. Each of the veg dishes I ate the last time were well done and my pure vegetarian friends had pretty loaded plates and that was the proof! The ghee rice is awesome too. My favorite dessert is their coconut soufflé. Ah yes! The bamboo shoots pickle was terrific!
The food has been consistent for over a decade and that probably reflects in the restaurant rating too!
The folks are warm, friendly and nice.
Kids have some board games to play if and when they are bored. I normally saw books but this time they were missing. Maybe it is on request now.
One gripe I had was unlike my experience with typical home run restaurants (fortunate to have visited Goan, French, Italian, Chinese, Malay, Czech, Japanese, and Mexican) where they love customers conversing in their native languages, here I would always get a response in English. But this time I had my “100% authentic foodie experience” .The little conversation in Kodava language ticked all boxes of the finicky foodie in me!
They charge 650 rupees per buffet and I find it quite reasonable for a niche restaurant that operates on Friday nights and weekends. What I like is the calm and composed ambience and no waiters hurriedly running around . I must mention that the folks are also environment friendly. They don’t upsell water bottles and instead offer from the copper kettles.
For the kind of food, service and ambience, I would pay for sure. I wish the juice was part of the buffet though. They accept cash, Paytm and google pay so it is convenient than just cash like in the past. This is one place I will return for sure as the restaurant is run by people who are passionate about food and hosting and it shows!
The whole vibe about this place is it makes you feel homely. The hot Akki Otti goes really well with the Pandhi curry. For starters, the chilly pork is really good. They have nailed the pork game! The owner was really friendly.
Went here with a friend long back... It's really nice, has a great homely feel about it and their food is just amazing!!! All coorgi food loves must go!! 💯💯
Best food ever! Authentic Coorg cuisine that is sure to get your taste buds craving for more every time. Will always recommend this place. Non-veg buffet - 5 star rating 😁

We came for the Sunday buffet.I liked the taste of the Chilli pork and Pork curry. You also have chicken curry and vegetarian options. The Caramel custard and the coconut souffle was very good.Ambience is very relaxed and the place also has toys to keep the kids engaged
Authentic Coorg food. Only hitch is Cards are not accepted. Only cash or googlepay. If you not using digital wallets please carry cash. Food is worth the climb of two floors
Had a good lunch over here. I liked this restaurant specially for their pork curry. Their coconut pudding was really good. Overall food was good and friendly staff. Ambience will take us to some years back. If they put display cards for food items it will be good.
Loved the experience here, no gimmicks just simply good food and nice ambience in a homely set up. The restaurant is on the terrace of a house and is done simply yet beautifully. I am no expert in the cuisine they serve but I really enjoyed all that I ate. There were three veg gravies and all had a distinct flavour. I loved the jackfruit vegetable and of course the coconut pudding was just too tasty.
This place is easily one of the best in Bangalore. The homelike decor of the place is really warm and welcoming. The aroma of authentic homestyle coorgy food can drive any foody crazy. Its a sweet place run by a sweet family. A beautiful simple buffet of amazing lipsmacking food and Led Zeppelin playing in the background is a strangely an awesome combo.
So we came across this coorg restaurant in the centre of indiranagar(1.2 km from vivekananda metro station)..This place serves authentic coorg cuisine..They serve only buffet here which is pricey but the food is really tasty..I loved the rice cakes with chicken curry, chilli pork(lovely flavour) and pandi curry(little sour because of some homemade vinegar added to it)..They also gave akki roti which was crispy and hot..In the dessert section, there was coconut souffle and caramel custard..Personally I will go with coconut souffle..The staff was very courteous and welcoming. Overall a thumbs up from my side and I will surely go there once again for the coorg food.
By far the best Pork I have ever had. Most authentic Coorgi food in Bangalore by far. And do not miss their desserts, they are amazing. Definitely recommend the buffet meals, though they are priced a tad bit on the higher side, I have already been here 6 times.
Extremely well maintained and a certain flavour that lingers in the taste buds beyond the spices. The ambience of the restaurant is also perfect for a quiet lunch with simple and very well made delicacies.
I love this place for the passion they bring into the place and the food .
Been here a while now, run by a coorgi of course. Although coorgi menu is known for pandi curry ..this place is a delight for veggies too. Slightly overpriced but I guess you need to give that since they run only on weekends . They do not serve alcohol or bottled drinks.
Their akki rotti and ottu shavige is to die for.
Best schedule is to not have lunch , have a evening drink at toit and head here for dinner with friends . Will be a total Paisa wasool .
delicious coorgi cuisine on a rooftop right in the middle of bangalore, but you cant hear the traffic! the buffet is excellent with pork and chicken as specialties, salads, veggies and pickles as well. fantastic service, lovely and cosy. thank you so much priya!
My plate speaks volumes!!! 🤤🤤
If you need a good homely meal, with delicious Pandhi curry and Coorgi Chilly pork, some fluffy spring hoppers, superb salads and pickles.... this is the place to go to!
Top Stuff! Great Food, Great Service. Priya is a wonderful host. The coconut souffle is one of the best desserts I've ever had. Keep it up!!
Great place and food
Usp is homely food
Nice ambience and reasonably priced
Pork and chicken were awesome
Even desserts are delicious
Parking can be issue but would love to come back
I miss this place when I have the mid-week cravings for a great buffet.
Wonderful ambiance, lovely hosts, great service.
And I love their coconut souffle.
I have been there quite a few times and one of those visits was only for the chilli pork, pandi curry and Idiyappam.
For the price, this is an absolute steal.
All the best The Restaurant - Coorg!!!
- rooftop restaurant with nice open ambience. No AC.
- fixed menu buffet costs around 700 bucks.
- really amazing food. My persona fav: chicken curry, mango curry, veg salad, chilli pork, and worlds best caramel custard.
- would have been really helpful if they had mentioned which item is what.
- it’s not value for money though, for 2 people it costed 1400₹.
Homely Place.
Cleanest kitchen.
Perfect stringers .
Great meats to really tickle your palate.
Very tasty veg.
The tastiest of dessert.
Very friendly and well trained staff led by a superbly efficient hostess.
All thanks to my colleague who suggested this place. So,I visited the place with my friend who was equally interested to venture out for something different - Coorgi cuisine !! The ambience is warm, inviting and peaceful. Chilly Pork ... Impossible to find a better word to describe its yummyness. Pandhi curry is awesome too. The stew was good too. Mango chutney was another thing that I liked as it was something different and lipsmacking . The Caramel Custard & Tender coconut souflé was heaven ! Its been eons since Ive tasted such a fantastic one !
I will defientely recommend and come back here once again for the CHILLY PORK , to try out those ones I couldnt devour this time and yesss click more pictures !!!! 😁
A must try out place !!
Bon appétit ! ❤️
Delicious food, I must say. Being a vegetarian, thought I might be short of choice but lo and behold that’s not the case. While the meat eaters can enjoy the pandi curry and chicken curry cooked in pepper sauces, vegetarians do not miss out the brinjal gravy! It’s to die for!
Food - 4.5/5

Recommendation: Coconut pudding and flan (heaven)
On a Saturday lunch, we visited this place in search of Pork restaurant in Indiranagar, but didn't expect it be so amazing.
We were welcomed by the owner of the hotel, and was amazed to know that it's a home-run restaurant, where the top floor has been converted to a restaurant and interesting thing is, they are open only on weekends, and for buffets only. The other days they offer home deliveries and office caterings. Ambience was pretty cool, with garden and plants all throughout the place. The host is pretty cool, as she also makes sure that everyone is happy with the food.
I would say this is the best place for coorgy cuisine I have ever tried. I loved all the recipes, including the veg dishes as well. As coorgy pork is meant to be very spicy, and it was damn hot for me. So I had to slow down and start with the desserts 😁
But, the host gave me a quick solution to this. 'Whenever we eat something that is very hot, we must take a sip of warm water and keep it for 5 seconds and start the food again' It actually worked well for me. Thank you so much :)
The pork is a must try cuisine here, and it takes the best. They had Caramel custard which was really tasty, followed by a tender coconut souffle. Mouthwatering food.
The staff who was serving us Akki rotis, has been working with them since the start, and he's the chef as well 😃 with an experience of good 30 years!
I recommend this place to everyone who's looking for coorgy cuisine in Bangalore. It's located in the heart of Indiranagar, very close to Toit 😊
Amazing food. The pork dishes are simply mind blowing accompanied by the akki rotis. The coconut dessert and the caramel pudding complements the other dishes as well. A good value for money.
Located little off from the main street and is on 2nd floor of a residential building. Ambience is great and inviting. It's an unlimited buffet only place. 2 pork, 1 chicken and 3 veg dishes, akki roti and 2 desserts. Pork dishes are exceptionally good, others are ok to do with. I find it a little pricey (₹650) for non vegetarians and I am not sure if they have different pricing for vegetarians. They have dine in only on the weekends. Payment options are cash and PayTm only. No bill or payment receipts were provided. Which I found it to be super weird. .
Visited this place for dinner last weekend and had an amazing experience, to say the least. It’s a home-run restaurant where one floor of the house has been converted to a restaurant. I came to know that on weekdays they only have takeaway options and seating arrangements are available only on weekends. The ambience is very homely and they have beautifully done up the house complete with a garden and plants all throughout the way to the restaurant which is on the 2nd floor (which you won’t mind climbing up because of all the beauty that you’ll get to see). However, one needs to do a booking a day before at least, because it’s home-run and they cook accordingly. The interiors are dimly lit and beautifully done up with wooden tables, giving the entire place a very earthy, Goa-meets-hill station kind of feel. The entire place is very clean too.
Coming to the food, I’m glad I decided to have my first taste of Coorg cuisine in this place. Their pork pandi curry and dry chilli pork is awesome. The pandhi curry pork pieces would literally melt in your mouth and if you like pork, you cannot resist another serving. The chicken, the ghee rice, the jackfruit fry everything was amazing but the pork takes the cake. For dessert they had caramel custard which was really tasty but I liked the tender coconut souffle better. I must also say that I loved their buttermilk! 😄
Service was very good and the behaviour of the staff is very warm and welcoming. The food items are arranged in a buffet system, but drinks they serve. One downside might be the fact that they do not accept payment by card. Only paytm or cash is accepted. I recommend this place to everyone dropping by at Indiranagar (it’s on the road to the left opposite Toit), since this place is really a discovery.
In Bangalore if you feeling like to be in Coorg and try some amazing home style traditional coorgi food !! then this place one must try called The Restaurant Coorg . Traditional Kodagu food in Shri Krishna Temple Rd. Indiranagar 1st stage . Restaurant opens only on Saturday and Sunday for lunch and dinner and It's a buffet style. Loved Coorgi Pandi curry ,pork chilli , vegetables stew ,Akki rotis and Noolputtu and to finishing your meal with coconut souffle and caramel custard. Chef cum owner Priya really dose everything by herself and it's so evident from food the a great Amieance of the restaurant !! feel like at home hospitality !!
When coorgi food beckons, this is where I’ll go! It’s like having that coorgi family you always dreamed of. Home cooked meals in a lovely rooftop setting: it’s easy to fool yourself that you’re nestled in the coorgi mountains, enjoying pandi curry, stew and appams. It’s hard to predict which specific craving will take me back: the sumptuous pandi curry or the classic caramel pudding or the innovative coconut soufflé. Regardless, I’ll be back!
I am so glad I found this one during my recent Bangalore trip. Lovely little place with a great ambience....takes you to Coorg instantly ! I had the lunch buffet and the meats were delicious...tried pandi curry, fried pork and chicken curry - all of them were great !! Just the right amount of spices and blend of masalas in the dishes.
The exciting part was the desserts - caramel pudding was good but the coconut soufflé was just crazy delicious-not too sweet with the fresh coconut flavour....not too hard on the stomach either. Great job guys !
Went for Sunday lunch. It's a nice little place on top of a house. Limited menu, and meant for a buffet, but all the items were spectacular!
Loved the pork dishes and akki roti. One downside was that card payments are not accepted, only PayTM or cash.
The best Coorg cuisine you can find in Bangalore. Not just the food but the ambiance, the vibe and the hospitality of the owner of the restaurant is just spot on. The choices are limited as they have fixed menu but whatever they offer is just fabulous. If you are stuck up on a weekend in Bangalore but your mind is craving for a quick travel destination which you cannot afford because of your busy schedules do visit this restaurant, it will take you away to the Coorg holiday vibe in no time at least with the food and ambiance if not the sight-seeing part. The noolputtu and pork curry is the ultimate combination. They also ghee rice, chicken curry, akki roti, pork fry, salads, veg curries etc.Not to forget the caramel custard and coconut souffle is just wow. So do remember to keep some space in your stomach to indulge in those heavenly deserts. They also have refreshments like passion fruit sodas or ginger lime. They are pretty good but not included in the buffet. It's not just the food but the experience in totality will fill your heart.
I love this restaurant. I've been here a couple of times now and I love it more everytime. The food is made with love and you can feel it. My favourite is he coconut souffle, it's so creamy and delicious. The fried onion ghee rice is to die for. Pork and chicken dishes are amazing and I love the akki rotis and iddiappams too. Definitely go here and have a lot memorable meal.
I've been coming to this restaurant now for over 5 years and what's unbelievable is how consistent 2 things always are... the awesome food and how welcome you feel everytime u go there. Last week I was traveling to Hyd and friends there had heard me wax eloquent about the pandi curry, th e unbelievable chilly pork and the caramel custard to die for. Do I decided I had to take some with me.. and boy did Coorg deliver! Was advised by the lovely family that runs the place on the number of portions of chilly pork I should carry depending on how many people I was feeding and if they were big eaters or not. I asked for 3 portions and they suggested 2 would do, and boy were they right! Which restaurant does that?! Look out for you so that you don't over order! Then it came to the caramel custard... Ok so let me set the scene... I'm not very big on desserts but that caramel custard would make Gandhi cancel his fast and ask for seconds! When I requested for a large bowl to carry, aunty was very clear with me that it couldn't travel well and hence advised that we don't take it. However, cos I was insistent, she relented, but again refused to let me spend money on the big vessel but suggested that we take only 3 small portions as a test case. I have to admit, that felt awesome. And both the pork and the caramel custard travelled beautifully! The pork was so well packed, had no issues whatsoever. The caramel custard as well came through perfectly fine as well.. and I've got some very thankful friends in Hyderabad! Post that lunch, let's just say they've got a new place they absolutely have to go to when they come down next!

Food is tasty . It's same like home food. Worth visting. Perfect coorg style cusine :-) Pork chilli is awesome . Deserts are also good. Perfect place for a non veg lover
This place takes you straight to a quaint Coorgi homestay with homemade food and a wonderful hostess. There are fixed buffet meals and it's open 3 days a week but I can't wait to go back for endless helpings of their pandi fry and chili pandi. This place gives you an experience like no other restaurant can and if you've never been to Coorg, this comes damn well close.
Visited the restaurant -coorg yesterday for the second time with few of my colleagues.the restaurant is located a few metres away from toit...the ambience is amazing.
They serve a massive spread for Rs650 which is worth it..must try chilli pork, pandi curry, nul puttu..(amazing combination)and tender coconut souffle.
Amazing hospitaly and quick service.
Payment mode:Cash and paytym.

This is what a quaint, cozy and authentic restaurant looks like. One of my favorite restaurants in Bangalore, this place is a must visit if you wanna try some scrumptious Coorgi cuisine. They serve three days a week, and only buffet, which is totally worth the try! The spread includes - noolputtu (noodly rice cakes), chicken curry, pandi curry (pork curry), pandi fry, akki rotti, pulao, three types of salads and super amazing desserts (coconut souffle and caramel custard). So don't give it a second thought and just go for it! :)
Just when we were about to enter the place, I get this whiff Of home cooked food, and surely looking at the people of the restaurant it is a place run by guys who want to offer homely food. One of the place where u get home style pork. Pork chilly is amazing, cooked and served in earthen pot. great place to visit when u have a strong craving for home style pork.
Very nice place. The ambience is good. The Food is yummy. Authentic Coorg Delicacies.Opted for the Buffet. It is worth the Cost. The Pork Chilly, Nulputtu with Chicken gravy, Akki Rotti. Its sooooo Delicious. Loved it and would visit again:) Would recommend this place for all the Pork Lovers and who loves Coorgi Food. Happy Tummy!
A very nice restaurant to enjoy Coorg foods. String hoppers with Pork Curry will linger in mouth for a long time. Finding the restaurant is bit tough, as I missed the board, and ended up knocking the door of first floor house. Once went inside, it was quite exciting. It's run by a couple, so it's more of a home food.

Happened to go here for Sunday dinner. It's tucked inside a lane opposite to toit. It's a roof top restaurant with a splendid decor. Pots with colourful plants, wooden chairs, handcrafted items adorned on the walls gave it a homely authentic look.
Coming to food they have only buffet option. The spread is moderate but the taste is awesome. Must try the chilli pork and the mango pickle. They serve hot akki rotis. Dessert was also good, I found the caramel custard better than the coconut soufflé. Overall a good restaurant..with a good ambience which serves the best pork dishes.
Decided to go here for a late Sunday lunch.
The people who run this place have converted their terrace into a small restaurant. It has been maintained really well. It's is so homely that it felt like going for lunch at an aunts's place. They have flower pots and classic wooden chairs to give you a bungalow vibe. Tiled roof , wooden chairs and tables , crafts work and paintings from Coorg, the old radio on the entrance gave this place a very ethnic touch . Even the plates and the containers used to serve the food are the ones which we use at home. I loved the homely touch. They have very few tables so you will get a waiting. So, try and book in advance.
Coming to the food - the food was as good as the decor. They only have a buffet option.
The Coorgi pork and chilli pork was great. The fish curry was just so heavenly. All of that paired with the Idiyappam tasted great . There was a chicken gravy which is a must try!
For desserts they had Coconut Souffle and Caramel custard . The caramel custard was just melt-in-your-mouth. Prefect ending to that meal. Unfortunately the Coconut Souffle got over by the time we went , but that just gives me another reason to go again.
The service is slightly slow because their is very limited staff. But since its a buffet place, the slow service is no hindrance. The people are really sweet and considerate. The lady explained all of the dishes to us and how to best eat them.
So overall , I loved the ambiance , food and service. Must try restaurant. Its different from the usual loud restaurants in Bangalore. Go there for a quiet meal and a nice chat with your friends.
Quite authentic taste of Coorg ! Tried pork for the first time was fav!! We missed coconut souffle as it was over by then.....the ambience is so cozy and gives a feel of coorg!! Definitely for ones who like regional cuisines !! Try their authentic mushroom curry ,pandi curry , bamboo shoots( some may not like as it has a distinct flavour and smell) awesome host probably the owner she is so welcoming !!
Honestly, this place serves the best pork that I have ever eaten in my entire life! I am a big big fan of pork. Their buffet is sufficient to fill more than just your stomach! The akki oti is as soft as cotton itself! They serve it hot from the flame and I cannot express how well it goes with the even more delicious pork! The ghee rice is just spot on! All those dry fruits and fried onions taste so well! Now coming to my second favourite dish here, the caramel custard. Now people think there's no big deal about caramel custards, they're pretty simple, right? You will be proven wrong once you just have a bite of the custard they make! It has the perfect bitterness sweetness balance. Now coming to the dish under the spotlight! The PANDI CURRY will just hit the spot! Such succulent, very well cooked, well seasoned, well spiced pork curry! I'll say it again, this is the best pork I've tasted in my life until now! Pork fans MUST eat here at least once! I have been here multiple times and the taste and quality is so consistent! The ambience of the place is also very warm and homely, just like the people serving food here. Keep up the great job!

Absolutely Must visit place for all Coorgi Cuisine Lovers !! Situated at the rooftop of a villa in Indiranagar, it may be little difficult to spot easily (Please have bigger billboard ). But one wouldn't mind it once they have food here. Very cozy ambience, makes u feel at home. All dishes are very delicious and are cooked during that time (they keep refiling them). Since it's a buffet you need to serve urself but they will serve u hot akki rotis to your table. The chilli pork, pork curry and chicken curry was absolutely lip smacking. I loved the veg stew & mushroom curry too with steamed rice. The salads were well made. For the dessert u have Coconut souffle & caramel custard which couldn't be better ending to ur Authentic Coorgi meal. I feel though the should introduce something more for vegetarians. Maybe a starter. All in all i had a perfect evening in this place. I cannot wait to return again. The host of the place was also very warm and generous. She has done a great job with this place. Kudos !!
You don't eat at a restaurant in Coorg.. you are invited to the cosy home of these amazing host who makes your meal an experience.. the menu for nonveg is pretty standard chicken in a greenish coconuty curry, pork chilli, Pandi curry.. simple no hassle deliciousness every single time. The veg menu varies according to season.. mixed mushroom, jackfruit, jungle mangoes, cucumber and others... Along with pulao freshly made and table brought akki roti and iddiyapams. They also have few variety of veg and nonveg salads home made pickles and chutneys.
The star of show for me are desserts the best creme caramel and tender coconut souffle.. therevare few coolers available at extra cost.. we like the lemon mint and the passion fruit one...
The ambience is homely but cosy.. the owners and servers ever so warm... A meal for two is about 1500... The drawbacks... Only open on weekends and no card accepted..
Definitely eat here..
We went to this place on a Sunday afternoon based on recommendation from our cousin.
The restaurant is located on rooftop of the owners's house. The place is designed well and has a relaxed ambience. They have lot of posters that highlight various aspects about Coorg.
They have buffet for lunch and the spread was good. The food was amazing and one of the finest I had in a long time. The taste of food took me to an alternate world. Outstanding Pork Fry and Panni Curry. !!!! Awesome mix of spices and flavors. The mango curry was superb. The best thing about this place is that food is genuine and authentic. I have fallen in love with this place and cook.
While the desserts were awesome, it will be great to see few more additions.
Situated in Indiranagar, this place is situated in the lane between Menchies and Jealous 21 showroom, near the KFC signal. In other words you can say that is situated in the lane bang opposite to Toit. Situated on the right side, you have to walk up past a flight of stairs before you reach the restaurant on the 2nd floor
Very homely atmosphere, with a tile roofing, cane chairs, and big windows. We took our place on the table in the middle of the area. We were promptly greeted by the owner, and she took some time, to figure out our booking, as she had jotted down on a copy
To start the buffet, I straight went for the Pandi Curry, Chilli Pork Fry and the Idiyappam. The owner was gracious enough to tell us which dish was which one, and make us accquianted
The Akki Rotis were served on the table to our plates. I chose to have 4 hot and fluffy Akki Rotis, along with a generous serving of the Chilli Pork Fry. The rubbed the gravy of the Pandi Curry, on my Idiyappam and devoured it. Such great tasting food
I totally didn't touch neither the chicken dish nor any of the veg curries. The pork was go fabulously made, I chose to stick to it. For salads, I chose to taste the Tuna Salad, Egg Salad and Coleslaw. The Coleslaw was definitely one of the best that I have tasted
For desserts, my definite choice was the Coconut Souffle, even though it was more than a pudding than a souffle. Oh man, I really miss it. Caramel Custard was OK
Payment is accepted only in mode of Cash or E-Wallet. We chose Paytm, and had to transfer the money to the owner's given account details. Good idea indeed.
The place can be a huge let-down for vegetarians and non-pork eaters. Also don't expect this place to be a fancy restaurant, with great cutleries. This is a home-eatery. Payment mode needs to be improved indeed
Indulge in some traditional home cooked coorgi food in this exclusive place which is open only on weekends in a roof top ambience that is so soothing. The very aspect of keeping it traditionally coorg is completely lived upto by Priya who is very sweet and ensures you get attention when you need and explains in detail about the food+tradition
They have wide range for veg as well as non-veg buffet. Pandi curry is their flagship dish and custard is just yumm
Only drawback is currently the card payment. You could do transfer through PayTM or cash.
Excellent home like food!
This time, there was also excellent choice for vegetarians too!
Also more salads, in the menu now.
If you like Coorgi cuisine, this is the place!
Ambience is quiet,neat and pretty.
Akki Rotis, Pandi curry and the tender coconut soufflé are to die for!
I was told, everything was great, by my guests, who tasted everything !
This is the perfect place to enjoy pandi curry and converse with a friend. The ambience is lovely, the place has the warmest hosts who will make you comfortable and serve with a smile. All the food is fresh, warm and delicious and a must try for those who like to experiment. It opens on weekends so booking might be a wise idea. I would definitely revisit this place and recommend it for authentic Coorgi cuisine in Bengaluru.
No compromise on food, the homely feeling and home food with the personal touch by the owner... a warm welcoming smile is what you need when you enter and that is what you get... amazing ambience just like a Coorg home stay... love it and a must try...

Yesterday I happen to visit this place for Saturday Night dinner with my friend. Its a lovely terrace restaurant in a house at Indira Nagar. The ambiance of the place is very homely and soothing. Here you will find Coorgy food and only BUFFET option is available. Her we had two types of pork dishes, chicken and three veg curries(the names of which I am not able to recall), rice, idiappam and akki roti along with some dessert items. The food is very authentic and tasty.
I would recommend this place with one caution, in my opinion it is slightly over priced place.
This is a roof top restaurant that serves buffet...The place is quiet and feels homely...the ambience is good and the food tasty... caramel custard was great...overpriced for the vegetarians I must say..
Ambience 3.5/5
Food 3.5/5
Value for money 3/5
This review has been pending for a while. I have visited this place on multiple ocassions and I must say that not once have I been disappointed. The quality has been maintained very well. It has a lovely ambience. The staff and the owners are very friendly.
They take time to introduce people to the cuisine.
Keep up the good work!
I am a great fan of Coorgi food. As such, this place was on my list for a long time. It did not disappoint. Some of the best Coorg food I have had outside of Coorg. The service and ambiance is superb. Recommended: Pork Curry, wild mushroom curry and their delicious desserts. Note: It is a buffet and they dont accept payment by cards (yet) which was the only disadvantage in the place
This is undoubtedly the best place in the city for Coorgi cuisine. A very homely feel, nice and quiet, one can be at peace totally, perfect for a date.
The place only has buffet and all the items are one of a kind. My picks would be - the chilly pork, the veg curry with ghee rice, the oyster mushroom and the caramel custard. The chilly pork is mindblowing, one of the bests' iv ever had. The homemade pickles are really tangy. The service is really good because owner individually attends all the tables and interacts with the guests.
The only drawback of this place is the payment mode- they don't accept cards.I also wish there were more options for beverages.
Definitely coming here again for the chilly pork !

Delicious Coorg food ! Nice and cozy ambience, it can make you feel home . Food is just awesome. Amazing pork curry and you'll relish all the dishes . It is Buffet and menu remains same most of the times . I'm visiting this place for more than 8 years. They are maintaining the taste same always !
Very good ambience. 😍
Great veg food esp the veg curry and puttu.
Fluffy akki roti are just too good.
Very hygienic too; the washroom has soap tissue and hand dryer as well. It's very well attended then and there when required.
Since most of the vegetables or fruits come from Coorg and most of them are home grown the food is as good as home food.
Authentic tastes from Coorg right here in Bangalore. This restaurant serves food that is delicious and homely. The setting is very rustic and hone stay like. It actually felt like being in a home stay in Coorg.
Loved the pandi curry, chilli pork and hot akki Rotis served on the table. The caramel pudding and coconut pudding for dessert was pretty good too.
Totally recommend 👍
You won't find any better Coorg resturants around the city. I have been visiting this place from past 5 years. I'm a Coorg and I love their Pandi curry,Nooput,Koli curry and not to forget coconut souffle. Best thing about this place is the owner who comes to your table to check if everything is alright. They are very open about feedbacks. Please do try their buffet.
This place is only open for dinner on Fridays, and lunch and dinner on Saturdays and Sundays. Coorg, therefore, is a hobby restaurant run by a Coorgi family passionate about their cuisine. Food style is home cooked, served up as a buffet. No complicated menus here. Restaurant is on the second floor of a house. You follow signs, take the stairs, and reach a tastefully decorated, cozy covered terrace. Food highlights: very tasty Coorgi chicken and pork, and delicious coconut milk pudding.
Nice coorgy food and ambiance is homely. You will get one of finest of Pork curries. They have variety of dishes on Buffet. Loved the dessert.Bit on expensive side.
They do not accept cards
Lovely and peacefull place to taste mouth watering homelymade Coorg Food.. Worth of paying.. Thank you for the pleasant time..☺☺
NON Veg lovers should try this place atleast once in lifetime..👌👌
A quiet little rooftop restaurant. They serve a buffet. There are limited options but the food tastes great. The trees around the property give it a very nice ambience, almost like in Coorg when I think of it now :) In short it's a nice cosy place with homely food.
Great homely food... lovely ambience.. if you r pork lover..this is it destination.. No alacarte only buffet.
