The moment you walk in, the warmth of the decor is what you notice, then the good energy from a place that is run well. The calm & joyful approach of the staff feels genuine, not contrived. The menu is easy to understand, for those of us who have not visited Vietnam yet, and if you need help, somebody is around to explain & recommend dishes.
From the crackers and sauces brought in first, till the dessert, the quality and flavor was unmistakeably of high standards. I heard they were experimenting with some recipes earlier and had some bad feedback, but I didn't find anything to crib about in any dishes - and I had a lot! I came in not-so-hungry and ended up ordering everything. I think Nirav's wife, who just happens to be Vietnamese, running the show on the kitchen side has something to do with this. After dinner, the ever sociable Nirav and his partner, Gaurav, chatted up with us for a while and we left feeling like we just had a fabulous dinner at a friend's place! One request HANOI, please keep up this fantastic standard of Vietnamese food. Bangalore needs you. Good luck!
The hospitality and the ambience was awesome. The food served took us instantly to the beautiful land of Hanoi of Vietnam.
I loved the ambience, the food was awesome. and so we're the drinks served. Starters and soups were good too
Great food, nice ambience, lots of choices... this place is a delight! Must try...
Visited Hanoi on Sunday.... From the staff to the food everything was excellent.... Definitely coming back....
This so-called revolution in food that we have in Bangalore has seen many cuisine and new restaurants spring up like mushrooms all around the city. And for those searching for a culinary and authentic Vietnamese food experience like no other place, look no further than HANOI.....
The chicken wrapped in betel leaf is a must have among the various other dishes - crispy chestnut in spicy sauce, prawn in pepper garlic, beef stir fry....
The work of the Chefs is too good to stay hidden for long. The service is friendly, excellent and goes all out to explain every dish in detail about what goes into the making.
Happy Dining and wishing Hanoi all success where customers will leave with memories of a great meal.
Awesome food ..courteous stuff & excellent atmosphere . Service topped it all
If you wanna tingle your tastebuds with authentic Vietnamese in Namma Bengaluru... Hanoi is the abode!!! What I liked best here :
- kiwi mango mint mocktail, tomato ginger (vietnamese ginger- probably galangal) soup,
crispy potatoes and coconut rice with Vietnamese curry.
Offbeat:
For a Vietnamese 'coffeelicious' experience check out Caphe Sua!
Not to forget, Pumpkin Cream soup!
And to crown the feeling end the meal with betel leaf ice-cream (a must try!)
Ambience and Hospitality - Uber Kewl!!!
Yummy food, great hospitality, simple and freshly cut veggies and cooked, should try their water chestnut starter, and viatnamese curry,
Great food, good hospitality but I find it too far to eat such awesome food :) I have started to love Vietnamese cuisine, thanks to HVC
Vietnamese comfort food. Cozy setup.Great ambiance and value for money.

Vietnam in Bangalore!
We drove all the way from Jakkur and I can tell you, it was worth the long drive.
Please try the pork or beef pho- that's one of the best Oriental dish I have ever had.

This is the second time I had Vietnamese cuisine. Order a bowl of pho, and was there is one word to describe it -- soothing. It's very light, nutritious, and delicious at the same time. Adding the lime to the soup gave a nice touch of fragrance. The price is definitely on the higher side. But quality wise, this is a place I am looking forward to try out again
A lovely place with cozy ambience serving some authentic and delicious food. I was here for a special breakfast buffet on a cold winter morning and I must say the food here was just perfect for the day. Warm, flavourful, fresh and cooked to perfection.
Coming to food, the Banh Mi is a baguette sandwich with choice of vegetables and sauce - yumm
The noodle soup was delicious with the right amount of spices and vegetables.
The veitnamese Bao was served hot and was soft and melt in the mouth.
The favorites were the Vietnamese Drip coffee which is served in a nice pot and you can see it being made.
The Jasmine tea pot also goes very well with the food and enough for a family of 4.
Overall, a great place to try Vietnamese food. Will surely visit again.

Courteous service and a calm ambience. A nice family restaurant for authentic Vietnamese food.
Hanoi is located near Maharaja signal, Koramangala, parking the car is easier here. This place has Vietnamese delicacies of all types, but the day we went for lunch, we were literally hungry and decided to directly go for starters and main course. We ordered chicken Pork ribs, Spicy prawns, Chicken Pho bowl, Crispy noodles with stir-fried sauce. The pork ribs were awesome. The prawns had the spices and the flavor of garlic ingrained in it. Chicken pho bowl is the delicious authentic Vietnamese pho bowl where the aroma of spices and herbs came out from broth. Chicken and veggies are soaked in that flavor. Combined with chilies, lime, and noodles, it was unable to resist. The deep-fried noodles were good. The staff are courteous and the service is a little slow. Price is on the higher side. I ordered delivery and WOW I’m so happy. I will be coming back again and again. Chicken summer rolls and the chicken rainbow/papaya salad were so incredible and satisfying. Can’t wait to try the chicken bun (noodle salad) and the beef pho. You guys really made my day. So so so happy with the food. Thank you.
I ate here 2 years ago while on a work trip to the area, this place is the closest to the authentic food I have had so far. Please open an outlet in Gurgaon/Delhi 🙏
Hanoi is the perfect go to place if you love Vietnamese food. I am die hard fan of the pho and the varieties of coffee they serve here. The drip coffee and the Vietnamese egg coffee are really delicious. Even the coconut cold coffee is really good. Coming to the pho, over my three times visit, I have tried all the three varieties of pho and the flavour was consistent throughout. The most favourite item on the menu that I have tried till date is the pho itself. Special mention to the Betel leaf wrapped chicken too as it was definitely worth a try. Last but not least, the sauce they serve as accompaniment is also real good. Overall, do give this place a try for the delicious food and the exquisite coffee they serve
Great place with Vietnamese cuisine.. They have great vegetarian options as well.. Ambience was great and staff was awesome...
A cozy restaurant with well curated dishes. I liked the fact they included the coffee variations in the menu as in Vietnam coffee culture is growing and perhaps its their attempt to bring it to customers in India . Maybe a touch costly but worth a visit
The pho here is absolutely authentic took me to my Vietnam trip. Also our server gave the best recommendation. Would highly rate it for its service and the food experience. Hanoi is a must go!
First time trying Vietnamese food in Bangalore. The viet curries I had tries in the US were quite different so I will reserve my review until I try their pho.
Having said that the food was very tasty. Spicy crispy chestnut and five spice curry were flavorful and yummy. The curry and jasmine rice was good portion and enough for 2 people after having an appetizer.
Drink were nice too but could be less sugary. Ambience and service was good. Shall return to try their pho!
Came here for Valentine's day.
If you want try authentic Vietnamese , must come here.
We had sweet and sour okra and green peas for soup. Not bad
Ginger chilly punch was lil sugary but okayish.
And starters spring roll was good.
I loved phorolls
Vietnamese rice paper roll was a different experience.
For main course pho and Jasmine rice with gravy.
For me best part was the papaya salad and che Thai dessert which was just amazing
Definitely one time visit.
I was very sceptical before coming to this wonderful restaurant Hanoi. We ordered Beef potato clear soup which was exactly what it is supposed to be! Then Lemon Grass Chicken, green Mango Salad, Prawn Posted in Butter Pepper Garlic, Vietnamese Turmeric Fried Rice and to end with Che Chuoi. Everything so so different from one other and feels so authentic. The ambiance is great as well as the staff.
Came here after a very long time, from entering the restaurant to even leaving it was an amazing restaurant.
Entered and all the staff had a huge smile on their faces. It was very welcoming. Ordered the moon dumplings, it was amazing, one of the best items on their menu. The second appetiser was the chicken with Carmel and ginger, again something to try off their menu. For main course ordered the my xao gion(fired noodles). Richard and Amit truly what hospitality means!
Thanks guys for a great date night!
It's an entry into a whole other world - the music, the images, the silverware, the ambience, the furniture, the food, everything. It's truly an experience. The restaurant owners are from Vietnam and I believe this is authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Try it if you like: Fascinating back stories, immersive experiences, tasting a different pallette, experimenting with different cuisines, being respectful to other cultures around us. Do not try if: You're a picky eater, you expect an "indianized" version of cuisines, you expect super fast service. The service does take a longer than average amount of time. The food is also very different from what you're used to. And that's the point, isn't it? Dishes to try: The chicken and peas soup, the green mango salad, Vietnamese steamed rice rolls and pho (of course). Also, definitely try the Vietnamese drip filter coffee. That was insane!
Amazing ambience and amazing food.. staffs were very friendly and calm to guide us about their special food items. We ordered chicken meat ball soup first.. followed by vietnamese half moon dumplings chicken.. we then ordered pho chicken.. really recommended must try place for authentic vietnemese food..
Ambience :
Good seating capacity with its neat colorful walls, a beautiful Buddha statue in the entrance and lovely decor.
Food:
Green Mango Salad : Mango, cucumber, carrot marinated in avietnamese dressing, garnished with peanuts. It was absolutely delicious!
Green Peas Soup : Combination of green peas, onions, cream, butter and milk. It was tasty & very filling.
Vietnamese Rice Paper Rolls : Mix of raw banana, chicken, pineapple, rice noodles, coriander, mint along with fish dipping sauce. It tasted great.
Quang Noodles : Yellow rice noodles, chicken, lettuce, banana blossoms, bean sprouts, fragrant greens and herbs, boiled egg, rice paper crackle, penauts savoury broth served with a sides of lemon, bird's eye chilli and Sriracha sauce. It is a must try.
Service:
Service was bit slow, but the staff were attentive & friendly.
If you really want to try out Authentic Traditional Vietnamese cuisine you must head to this place.
“Excellent environment, friendly service, great menu choices and really decent food and at affordable prices. Will be back.“
So last week we tried our TONGUE at some Vietnamese Food 🎃
We are recommending this Rice Paper Roll at Hanio to all our followers.
It had diced cucumber, spring onions and carrot along with coriander, mint and rice noodles wrapped in rice paper.
In picture :
1. Nem Cuon - Vietnamese Rice Paper Roll
2. Vietnamese Drip Coffee
The rice paper is sprinkled with paper, fillings are placed on top of it and immediately rolled out.

Nothing more required, excellent food
Great service and food.
Bit expensive on other hand.
We tried soup, grilled sizzling fish , pork ribs which was amazing....but the he noodle salad- Bun No Nam Bo was boring...we got tired of eating.
Thanks Anil for the warm hospitality...very humble and politely he explained about the dishes and helped us in we from the menu..
Oh yeah...forgot to mention about the dessert....Panna Cotta in hazelnut caramel...sooooo goood❤️
Will visit again😊
A restaurant that genuinely cares about the food it serves. Any dish you order is sublimely flavourful.
Had an amazing experience at Hanoi. The food is simply brilliant, especially loved the bun cha and the Vietnamese steamed rice rolls. Can improve the seating experience though. Everything else is perfect.
The place is good but it is slightly on the expensive side.
What is Good: Quantity of food, quality of food, ambiance, clean toilets, ambiance , courteous staff, accepts Zomato Gold,
What can be better: 30% cheaper prices than what is currently advertised on their menu.
Best hot pot place in koramangala
Undoubtedly one of the best places I have been to in the recent times in Bangalore. If the mainstay of Vietnamese cuisine is Freshness then Hanoi, with its delectable fresh vegetables and ingredients strikes the nail on the head. Try their Pho, noodle salad, meatball soup or literally anything on the menu. We were so hooked on to the food that we went there twice in a week.
Amazing food, rich in flavors. A very courteous staff and quick service. Would love to visit again. 😍
Awesome place to enjoy Vietnamese food if you are craving for one ! Nice ambience and courteous staff who understand your palette and suggest good options . Pumpkin soup is the best. Overall a good place to dine out with friends and family
Lovely food excellent service tyred they beef stir fry. Pho beef. Water chestnuts. Lemon grass ice cream wonderful.
Awesome food nice ambience super cartious staff service is good.. Love the place highly recommended for hang out with friends.. Must visit@ hanoi kormangala.........
It's a nice place with good food and polite staff
Authentic Vietnamese flavour!
One if my favorite place for South East Asian cuisine...we actually ended up going there for two consecutive days. It's got a quiet and cozy ambience with light music. Everything on the menu was great. Although I personally did not like the Pho. It was too bland for my liking..may be I would order that on a day when I need something warm and soothing and healthy..also they have zomato gold which is definitely a plus for your pocket 😉!!
Ordered pho and a noodle patty dish, didn't exactly remember the name. Pho, which is their signature dish, turned out to be average in looks and test.
Noodle patty dish was better, I liked the crunch of fried onions, nuts with soya sauce. All the vegetables and details they described were served separately - including herbs.
Mixing up all of them gave up a new flavour, which served the purpose of going to Hanoi, and having Vietnamese cuisine.
Calm, peaceful place with low music. We had the veg spring rolls and chicken in butter sauce.both were good in tatse and sufficient for 4 people
Excellent food- try the coconut rice and viatnemese curry.
Extremely clean.
absolutely loved the staff, they were very warm, happy and helpful.
Great experience
Had lunch here with a friend since we were looking for something light and wholesome. The steamed rice rolls were our favourite dish. Loved the smooth rice pancake exterior and the filling was so good with minced mushrooms and vegetables. Very nice sesame and peanut sauces came with it
Also had the tofu in tomato sauce that tasted ok but could do with some added vegetables to break the monotony of eating so much tofu. Also when taking order the staff did not suggest ordering some rice with it so we ended up eating this saucy dish by itself
The lemongrass chicken was well flavoured but chewy and over cooked. The vegetarian pho lacked flavour..very bland.
This is a very good restaurant to try some Vietnamese cuisine. The restaurant has got a pleasant vibe. We started off with tamarind chicken which was quite a delicious one. For main course we tried the Vietnamese crispy noodles in both veg and egg and super loved it. It was really good and the taste was just perfect. We ended our meal with a dessert Che- Thai which is supposed to be a very popular dessert, something that was not for my liking.
The Vietnamese filter coffee is a must try at this place. It was great!!! Overall a very good experience here at Hanoi!!!
Are you searching for some good authentic Vietnamese cuisine for lunch or dinner in Bengaluru? Then this is the place to visit to try some delicious authentic Vietnamese food!! We ordered tamarind chicken, crispy Vietnamese noodles with egg and without egg and for dessert We ordered the very famous Vietnamese special dessert che thai. Also must try is their Vietnamese filter coffee which was mind blowing! One of the best coffee I have ever had👌 specialty of this coffee is it’s made of condensed milk. It was a Different experience after trying the authentic Vietnamese cuisine!
Made my infinity dining debut with Hanoi and I thought it was quite a steal!
There is a good number of vegetarian options, fortunately, so we had quite a bit to choose from. The soup, appetizers and salad- excellent. Especially loved the banana bloom salad and the paper roll dumplings. The main course- Vietnamese Oyster Mushroom Curry and fragrant rice were somewhat underwhelming, and the dessert, Vietnamese Tropical Fruits in Coconut Milk (mainly pomegranate, fig and jelly 🤦🏻♀️) was disappointing, to say the least.
The staff is courteous and earnest, and knowledgeable. It was a good experience, in all. Could've been better, however.
Best place to have an authentic Vietnamese meal. The food here has authentic Vietnamese taste and the experience can't get better than this restaurant has to offer.
I recommend having an Infinity Dining experience here.
If you have even been curious about trying vietnamese cuisine you should come here.
The place is fantastic.
I like the food here.
Ask anyone and they'll tell the same ...
Good place for lunch with families.
Had visited with my family for dinner as we used to see this restaurant passing by every single day on our way to work. Also we were curious to actually know how Vietnamese food taste like. The first thing that will make you feel good is the decor. Ambience is very subtle their service is very professional. Ordered pho and Ga kho gung and it was good.
The go to place in Bangalore for Vietnamese cuisine, Hanoi definitely didn't disappoint. The decor isn't over the top, but still elegant to make for a peaceful meal. The seating has 2 varieties, one being the regular chair and the other a traditional Vietnamese style stool like seating, where you sit cross legged, which was really nice. Coming to the food, every single dish we ordered was spot on. The rice paper rolls were amazing, the filling just right to let the taste of rice come through. The Pho is probably the best dish on the menu here. It was both absolutely delicious and filling. The coconut rice and Vietnamese curry was heavenly. Loved the texture of the rice, and how well it goes with the gravy. Definitely a must have. Also liked the Vietnamese filter coffee. Definitely looking forward to visiting again.
I really loved all the soup bowls they had. This is as close to anything vietnamese you’ll get in bangalore, as far as I know. The waiters need a bit more training if you ask me, but at least the manager was really kind.
Good food, amazing ambience and super friendly staff! Jeevan, who waited on us, was exceptionally helpful.
We came at closing time and the restaurant was kind enough to take us in.
We called for the Spicy Tamarind Chicken, Five Spice Curry which were superb and is a must have!
Would definitely recommend this place!
Had the best dinner in the town tonight. Everything served on the table was awe inspiring. Especially because it was served by a brilliant set of of the humblest young men. Baldev was waiting on our table and made sure we had great time.
We tried -
1. Vietnamese filter coffee (Ca phe sua) and Vietnamese Egg coffee (Ca phe trung) (5/5)
Brilliant flavours of coffee. Egg coffee's egg+milk condensate was the best thing you could do to a coffee.
2. Vietnamese rice paper rolls (Read: Vietnamese sushi) (3.5/5)
It wasn't awesome, but a good set of flavours.
3. Beef stir fry (5/5) + Spicy tamarind chicken (4/5)
Beef stir fry was superb. The tamarind felt a little strong for my palette, nonetheless a great starter.
4. Banh Mi (Baguette) (4/5)
We tried the pork one, and the filling was great. The baguette felt a little thicker, but the fresh serving cilantro, radishes and green papaya made up for it.
5. Pho (Vietnamese national dish) (5/5)
Yummm... I am not a fan of too much unwanted spice, hence I loved it. It felt really fresh and the noodle broth was refreshing. A main course that would want you to eat more.
6. Che Thai (4.5/5)
A great desert. Coconut milk with fruits, what's not to love.
7. Ca phe Dua (3/5)
Not bad, but the coffee felt a little stronger. I would have had preferred my original favorite - Egg Coffee.
8. The staff
Very courteous, humble and helping. Baldev helped me decide all the above dishes and I don't regret any. He was great to talk and discuss what I prefer rather than deciding for me. That's appreciative.
Zomato Infinity (5/5)
Helped me order and fill up my belly just enough to leave the place satisfied.
Its a very nice and authentic vietnamese restaurant... Very well behaved staff and tasty food. Though the menu might seem to be on the costly side at first but it is definately value for money.
You know when people say that the best plans are impromptu. That is just exactly what happened in this case and we accidentally ended up stepping into Hanoi, this gem of a restaurant. It was a bit late into the night, somewhere around 11:15 pm and hence most of the restaurants got closed by the time. We had a car to ourselves and were randomly moving around in blocks of Koramangala (when there is less traffic 😛).

Lovely food, made me remember my trip to hanoi. Egg coffee is as good as back there. Pho is pretty great to try out here
Pork bun cha is succulent. The sizzling fish cha ca is awesome. Loved the kaffir lime drink and the ginger punch, both are highly recommended.
My experience at this place was a 5/5. The service was excellent and so was the food.
The Vietnamese coffee and the chicken dumplings were to die for.
We had also ordered for Chicken Pho and Mi Xiao Gion which is crispy noodles with meat of your choice and vegetables. Both the dishes were very good.
It makes for a great dining experience since authentic Vietnamese cuisine is a rarity and Hanoi does justice to the authenticity and taste.
Vietnamese cuisine is something I'm not very well acquainted with so initially when I went to Hanoi for lunch I didn't know what to expect. The end result though was amazing! 😊
The place has a very calming effect on people with its neatly done walls, a beautiful Buddha statue in the entrance and lovely decor. Coming to the food ... The food was not only beautifully plated...each and every dish served tasted delicious! We tried a variety of dishes but I'd like to mention the ones that stole the show for me: •green mango salad- I'm not a salad person but this was absolutely delicious!
•chicken meatball soup- it's basically combination of chicken meat balls , corn Kennels, tomato and spring onions. This was so tasty! I can never finish the whole bowl myself but I couldn't resist myself from finishing it.
•Sizzling Fish- also called cha ca, is essentially flaky white fish which is marinated in spices and then fried. It's served on a sizzling hot plate and hence the name. The fish was super tender and the spices were not overpowering...just the right amount.
•lemon grass chicken- another delicacy I'm supremely impressed by!
• Bun cha- this was something o was looking forward to the most. It's a traditional Vietnamese bowl dish made of grilled patty and noodle. The patty is grilled over charcoal in fish sauce along with herbs resulting in a delicious dish.
•Vietnamese Crispy noodles- loved the dish! Very tasty and I'd say the dish closest to the Indian palate as it reminded me of chosuey.
We also tried paper rice rolls and okhra soup. Both very new dishes and definitely an interesting try.
For dessert we had caramel custard and Che Thai. The caramel custard is a must try here! It's also called Kenn caramel and is made in the most traditional way.
The food here is made mostly with fish sauce but it can be customised to soya sauce if one isn't comfortable with the taste of fish sauce.
We ended up having a few mocktails too. Kiwi mango mint and Kaffir lime cooler were my favourite of the lot! Each were presented with utmost care and tasted amazing too.
If you love trying new cuisines and want to try out Vietnamese cuisine which is authentic but also made keeping in mind of the Indian palate then I highly recommend Hanoi. ♥️
Location: 📍 4th block, Koramangala
Your search for authentic Vietanemese cuisine in Namma Bengaluru ends at this place. Hanoi specialises in Vietanemese cuisine and they have managed to keep the food as possible as true to it roots.
Went here for lunch with couple of friends and we had a great experience.
First let me just talk about the ambience of the place which is super cozy as well as very quirky at the same time.
The food was delicous and I tried so many new things and was surprised at how much I liked them.
Few of my favourite items were the green mango salad, crispy waterchestnuts, sizzling fish and lemon grass chicken. I tried the okra soup which was a first for me and the chicken meat ball soup which was so well balanced.
Bun cha was something that I had never had before and it comes with rice noodles, meat cutlets and veggies that has to be mixed together with the dressing and tasted absolutely beautiful. Next was pho which was a comfort food in a bowl. We tried the crispy noodles also which I liked, it can be topped with chicken or veggies as per your preference. Ended with che Thai and caramel custard both were yummy. We also tried few mocktails and these were the one'sthat I liked Ginger Chilli Punch, Kiwi Mango Mint, Kaffir Lime Cooler and Minto Yoghurt Cooler.
Overall I loved It!!

Hanoi in India and what India likes about Hanoi is the Food with a Twist, this place full fills it.
Must try : Mango salad 😍 the best dish served with Fish or Vegetable sauce.
Rice paper rolls, lemon grass chicken looks good and tasty as well. Sizzling fish is perfectly cooked and served hot. Crispy water Chestnuts has a very different taste and its one of the starters that you must try @hanoi.
The Okra soup is very different from the usual soups and is the most recommended soup.
They also have the best drinks, must try ones are Ginger Chilli punch, Kiwi mango mint, Kaffir Lime cooler (leaves bought from Hanoi), Minto Yoghurt cooler.
Pho served is very authentic and addictive. Crispy noodles served with chicken is a must try main course. Bun cha is good as well.
Never tasted a better caramel custard than in Hanoi. The best caramel custard ever.
This place is simply the best to visit if u want to try a different cuisine. Vietnamese cuisine is different and tasty because of the home made sauces they use in the same way Hanoi adds and India touch to the food which is interesting.
The service and staff is good and friendly. The food is perfectly decorated and the presentation is beautiful. Food styling is done in the best way @Hanoi.
They have an indoor and outdoor seating and this place can be put in the visit again list for the best food and service.

Vietnamese cuisine has derivations from many countries like Portugal, France, Netherlands from the colonial period, modern methods of cooking and the war also has lead to new dishes like crispy noodles etc. Vietnam also has Indian influence in their cooking with spice mixtures. From North to South, there is a difference. In Bangalore, we directly head to Hanoi Restuarant named after the capital city of Vietnam, where the Chef and the owner Diep Vu us from Hanoi.
Hanoi is definitely not a new place for Koramangala people or Vietnamese food enthusiasts. Here, they serve authentic Vietnamese food. Basically, Vietnamese food consists of five fundamental tastes and they have been achieved here.
When the Chicken meatball soup arrived on the table, the aroma of the Chicken broth engulfed in me. The soup was boiled in a broth of minced meat and vegetables. One amazing soup without any artificial flavours. Okra soup was again delightful.
Green Mango Salad is an absolute delicacy with fish sauce, the sauce blends in very well with the mangoes and the addition of peanuts gives it a perfect crunch.
Rice paper rolls are a typical Vietnamese dish where rice is rolled with prawns or a veg patty. This can be termed as Vietnamese Sushi😂
Sizzling fish is the most relatable dish where the fish was cooked perfectly and the sauces take a toss on your tongue. Crispy waterchestnuts is a must try and lemon grass chicken is too awesome with a dominant flavour of lemongrass on soft marinated chicken.
Coming to the Main Course, Pho is a dish with patty of chicken and rice noodle base. The broth with it is amazingly awesome. Vietnamese Crispy Noodles is another delicacy where spiced vegetables with egg or chicken is added.
Che Thai is one of the best dessert I've ever had. The coconut milk based dessert with pomegranates and tutti fruits and other fruits makes it a healthy affair.
Bon Appetite,
Ghatotkatcha
Vietnamese Cuisine is one of the most recognized and well-known across the world. The food is basically a combination of fragrant, taste and color. Many Vietnamese dishes include five fundamental taste senses (ngũ vị): spicy (metal), sour (wood), bitter (fire), salty (water) and sweet (earth), corresponding to five organs (ngũ tạng): gall bladder, small intestine, large intestine, stomach, and urinary bladder.
The cuisine is not new for folks in Bangalore. Since, one of the most popular hotels housed a Vietnamese restaurant, which is even famous and appreciated by lot of patrons. Though there are very less Vietnamese restaurants in the town, still the cuisine hasn’t lost the charm.
Recently, I was invited by Hanoi Restaurant to experience their newly introduced Appetizers & Main Course, which are most commonly available across Vietnam in the form of street food. The house was restricted to some great critics in the city. It’s always a great experience to understand and taste food when well-known critics are around. I was one of the luckiest people to dine along.
What is Vietnamese Style BBQ? As I mentioned before, the Vietnamese Cuisine have ingredients like lemongrass, Galanjal, Five Spice Powder in most of the dishes. Hanoi introduced Lemon Grass BBQ Chicken . They have gone extra mile and prepared Lemon Grass BBQ Paneer for some of us to get the flavors. I was too impressed with the 5 Spice dish more than the other one. According to me Non Vegetarian, the 5 spice BBQ Lemon Grass Chicken was the show stopper.
The lunch was extended to some of the signature in-house dishes like Chcicken Meat Ball Soup, Sizzling Fish, Crispy Water Chestnuts, Rice Paper Rolls, Mango Salad with Fish Oil, Pho, Bun Cha, Vietnamese Crispy Noodles, Che Thai & Caramel Custard desserts. These were such a refreshing to beat the summer heat. I thoroughly enjoyed these dishes with Soya Chili sauce.
While indulging these dishes, Spicy Ginger Chili Punch kept our thirst away. A must try drink at Hanoi.
Other drinks like Kiwi Mango Mint, Kaffir Lime Cooler & Mint Yoghurt Coolers were also show stealer.
This place serves one of the Authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Located in Kormangala. Ambience is very subtle with wall hangings showcasing Vietnam culture. Service is very professional and they have paid utmost detail in the food they serve.
Along with friends for lunch we tried few dishes.
• Vietnamese Filter Coffee - Must Try! this is a robust coffee served along with Condensed Milk. Tasted amazing and perfect for any time of the day.
• Soup
* Sup tum bi do - which is a pumpkin soup which was very creamy and tasty.
• Salad
* Green Mango Salad - it had nice balance of all the flavors of mango and dressings.
• Appetizer
* Rice Paper Rolls - the rice paper was so transparent which shows the quality of it. Had enough stuffing with carrots, cucumber, mint, glass noodles served with chilli vinegar and soya sauce.
* Crispy Water Chestnuts - Chestnuts tossed with different spices. It was fresh and crispy together.
• Main Course
* Pho - it's one of the staple food of Vietnam. A bowl of rice flat noodles cooked with veggies along with the broth is served. It's light and refreshing.
* Bun Cha - noodles dressed in a tangy sauce and veggies served with veg patties which is full of flavors. The combination goes really well. Must try.
* Vietnamese Crispy Noodles - deep fried vietnamese noodles topped with gravy and stir fried vegetables. The gravy along with noodles and veggies go really well. Must try.
• Desserts
* Caramel Custard - Must Try. One of the perfect Caramel Custard I have had. The sweetness in the custard and the caramel taste of the sauce is perfectly balanced.
Overall had a good experience. Would love to visit again to try more.
Special Thanks to Mr. Jeevan who took care of us and served and guided us very professionally.

When you talk about Vietnam, the first thing that comes to your mind would be Vietnamese War... and the cuisines has a lot of influence of it too...!!
Hanoi has been the epitome of Authentic Vietnamese cuisine for the past few years, where they have paid extreme attention to detail which ensure that it just doesn't tantalize your tastebuds, but also lifts your hope of getting server with something very appetizing!

The chicken broth gives you real essence of meat and provides you with the heat, spicyness and the taste which would satiate your buds completely.

The caramel custard had the right consistency and the form, not too much sweet and a delight to look at.

I had been wanting to visit this place since the first time I saw it while walking by. And I'm glad that I had a great experience when I visited for lunch. I'm definitely going back to try rest of their menu.
The portions are generous. We had their popular Pho which is deliciously bland served with Sriracha. I prefer not too spicy food. Also, we tried their crispy noodles which was like a burst of flavours at once.
Finally, we finished our meal with Vietnamese style coconut coffee which was nothing less than a dessert. We loved the coconut flavour.
