Tasty food. Crab was amazing and so was silver fish. If you like Mangalorean sea food go for it. You get variety of good sea food items like crab, fish(anjal, pomfret, banguda, silver fish etc) and prawns too.

Best Seafood restaurant... Enjoyed the food...
Food is amazing and the service staff is very friendly and very comfortable place to dine
The food was good.
Pros:The fried fish and prawn Manchurian is amazingly tasty 😋.
Fish thali Mangalore style was good .
Crab soup was delectable.
Kokum soda was too yummy.
Cons: Waiting time is more.
Once we reach the table again to place order it takes time. The taste of fish curry is little raw smelling.
The entrance to the restaurant is not that great however the food is tasty.
Overall i would give a 4 ⭐.
Good food with really quick service. Much reasonable in such commercial place. It's in the heart of Jayanagar which is really convenient. Due to less attractive most people don't know about this place. A bit more attractive hoardings and entrance will definitely attract more customers.
I recently visited Mangalore Sea Palate, located at 197/F, 27th A Cross Rd, Jayanagar 3rd Block, Jayanagar, Bengaluru, and had a mixed experience.
This restaurant specializes in classic Mangalorean seafood and meat dishes, offering a variety of set meals. On weekends and holidays, it's bustling with patrons, making it necessary to wait for table service. The Chicken Thali with Kane Tawa fry and Anjal tawa fry was our choice along with Boiled Rice. The Kane fry was delightful, perfectly cooked and flavorful. However, the Anjal fry was a disappointment; it was undercooked and didn't justify the steep price of Rs.400.
The service, unfortunately, left much to be desired due to long wait times, although the overall experience was passable. The restaurant's ambiance was reasonable, and hygiene standards were commendable. The Chicken Thali was tasty, providing a redeeming factor to the meal.
Mangalore Sea Palate's premium pricing might deter some, but for those craving authentic Mangalorean cuisine, it remains a viable option. With improvements in service efficiency and consistency in food quality, this restaurant could truly shine.
We ordered Prawns Curry and rice, Neer Dose and Anjal Masala fry. I loved it all. The taste, spice level everything was on point. Anajal was fresh and reasonably priced. This was my 2nd time visiting this place and it did not let me down.
One of the best place to have coastal food.. Little spicy but i enjoyed every bit of masala combinations..Taste was up to the mark.
Ordered items:
Mashroom rava fry
Squid sukka
Prawns tava
Neer dosa
Veg Pulimunchi

Nice restaurant with variety of fish items in Mangalore style. Biriyani only average, no special taste. Cooking is slight different in Mangalore style. Thali will be the good option here.

We ordered crab soup (must try), chicken Manchow soup, fish thali, chicken thali, kori roti with chicken curry (must try), fish chilly, chicken ghee roast, squid pepper fry, kokum juice. All the dishes we had, tasted awesome.
The chicken ghee roast just melted in the mouth. Highly recommend this dish. The squid was perfectly cooked in squid pepper fry.
Ambience is also clean and neat, highly suitable for family and friends. Easily locatable on the main road. Good service and friendly staff.
Will definitely go again to try out the other dishes. Highly recommended place for seafood and non seafood lovers.
Must visit place for sea food lovers when you are around Jayanagar. Very reasonable prices and quality, taste were fantabulous. Thank you for your hospitality. Best wishes to the Team for your future endeavours 🙏
Pretty decent place with good & quick service.
Must try dishes - Fish kebabs, Neer dosa combo (5 dosas are served. Sufficient for 1) and Chicken leg roast (my favourite of all).
We got so indulged in the food.. we forgot to take pictures of the dishes after Kebab.
Very tasty Mangalorean food, but salt was more in all the dishes. Had returned the boiled rice as the salt was more. Fish fry was also salty.
