My go to place for Thatte idli that's soft and pillowy. All their breakfast items are good, the sambhar is delicious! And everything at a very affordable price!
The place has its own touch to the food it has to offer, having the location in a busy area, this place has a lot to offer in its taste of the food. Have ordered multiple times at this place and will keep coming back, because its all worth it. North Indian cuisine is a must try here.
Name of the Hotel suites best.
Morning walk in the Mini Forest and the breakfast is the best in Bangalore here at Parkview.
Rava idli.
Masala Dosa.
Must try:
Sambar Dip idli.
Onions in Sambar.
Sambar Dip Vada.
Onions in Sambar.
Yummy!! Idli, Vada and Sambar with chutney that's it.😋
Afternoon Roti curry😋
Masala puri in the evening😋

This place being very close to my house, has over the time become one of my favourite breakfast places. They have a good range of breakfast items served at a good speed. Evenings are delightful with various north indian curries and naans. The price is not overly expensive and the quantity is decent. Its a small place with couple of tables. A good place to start the day.

Park View Vegetarian restaurant is a popular Darshinis at JP Nagar Mini Forest. It's location makes it a hit amongst morning and evening joggers at the Mini Forest as well as the employees of the many offices in that area.
I've been there twice, once for breakfast and the other time for evening tea. The service is quick as with any Darshinis and there's mostly standing tables for on the go food. We had idlis and vada, with coffee and it was good fare. On the other visit we had tea with guliyappa and no complains on that front too.
I have been eating here since I can remember!! I remember how after the morning walk...me n my friends would rush here to try the yummy Vada sambar 💓
I have had breakfast at Parkview several times and the food at parkview has a unique "Udupi" touch to it. My favorites there are; Akki and Ragi rottis, Thatte Idly, Kotte kadubu and Curd vada! Their curd vada is especially unique in flavor with no added sugar. Their Idly items are quite mouth watering with their "Udupi" chutney. Akki and Ragi rottis are excellent with their chutney and sagu with mixed vegetables and they serve two and hence you can share it! The breakfast is excellent and inexpensive and uniquely rustic and quite hygenic! THIS IS UNIQUELY SOUTH INDIAN BREAKFAST PLACE!
This place is the best for Udupi style dishes like Guliyappa(Paddu), Mangalore Buns, Ottu Shavige. I have literally tried everything on the menu and is the best both in terms of quality, quantity and price.
This place has good South Indian food. Please help me to find the contact of a guy with tattoo on neck on counter if anyone is reading this review. I think he is owner's son. Message me on messenger.
This is a very good, no-nonsense, affordable, to-the-point fast food Darshini. You get excellent dosas, idlis, akki rotis, pooris and so on. There are North Indian and Chinese dishes thrown in too, though they are not very popular. There are a few tables and it overlooks the beautiful mini forest park. If you find a table on a cool morning, with a plate of steaming pooris and hot coffee, it is absolute bliss.
Most customers are from the neighborhood - they either stay in the vicinity or work in one of the offices nearby. Even if you stay far off, it is still worth visiting this place; just couple it with a long walk in the park before or after food. There is a play area for kids too.
Name suits perfectly !!!!
Yes,its not a restaurant just with name as ParkView, but it has a park opposite to it.
It s one of the fast food restaurant in entire stretch of mini forest and very famous among locals.
The people from companies/Residential complexes come to this Restaurant regularly for Lunch/Snacks.
The hotel is maintained well.
Parking might be a bit of problem as the road is filled with Vehicles from IT companies most of the times.
But on a weekend the roads will be empty for parking.
I eat here about 4-5 times a week and this is the quintessential South Indian kitchen, you keep hearing about. Whatever u want - light, heavy and even North Indian & Chindian dishes. Great pricing too.
Hungry, live/work nearby and don’t really know how to cook? This is the answer.
This restaurant is awesome to have food...am past from 9years am regular to this place... Good staff, with friendly behavior... chats with awesome taste which done by chats ravi... I love all chats here south and north indiaan food with superb taste....
This is like most darshinis with tables to sit !
I basically like Udupi cuisine and we do get some here! This is the main reason I like this place 😊
One must try kotte kadabu and open dosai here and dahi puri too 😊
Visited this place for breakfast last Saturday. We ordered vada sambhar and pizza dosa, and both were great.
Ideal for weekend breakfasts. :)
Best place to go for a quick and tasty meal. Very fast service. Most of the dishes are very good. Would definitely like to go there more often. I would highly recommend the paneer dishes.
I totally love this place. I have tried almost everything on their menu. I did not like the meal (thali) they have, but otherwise everything else is great.
Everything is goid about this place.
I love to eat dosa, idli, gulab jamun, dahi bada, guliyappa, rava kesari here.
My mist favourite is dahi bada and Rava kesari and good tea. Very reasonably priced place and beautiful location.
They have good options fir main course as well and chienese food is also good.I have visited it's kitchen and found it maintains good cleanliness.
Good place for pure vegetarians.

Best weekday or weekend eating place with best quality north indian food south Indian food, especially for Hygeinic & fresh food. Very reasonable prices. Prices are affordable enough to make it a daily dining spot for many people.
This restaurant is one my fav...as my office was next to the restaurant it was very close to me...I love their food quality and hygiene they maintain... there is lot of options for breakfast...they serve udupi style foods which is pretty famous.i like neer dosa with kai chutney which is very healthy breakfast and also rice bath of the day will be very yummy...i just love the north Indian thali and ghee rice which is full of cashews and gravy add on the taste...but the place is very rush always crowded most of the working ppl visit hence we need to wait for a long time..
It’s a self service restaurant. The food is very good and is served in filling portions. It’s usually crowded during the lunch time, but all in all a good place to eat.
My kids and myself were at the mini forest in JP nagar and discovered this place... the place has some amazing food . We have tried the Udupi Gulliyapa , dose, set dose, idli and coffee ... all of them are great. The place overlooks a park and its great fun for kids if you happen to find a seat for yourself. A must visit for moms and kids !

One of the best hotel in the neighborhood for breakfast, lunch and fast food, located right in front of mini forest Park, JP Nagar with ample parking space in front.

One of those very very authentic Darshini eateries in jp nagar . North Indian fare is very good and also the South Indian menu . The onion chilly fried rice here is to die for make sure you don't miss it here the staff are not very friendly though especially people in the cash counter
A very nice place for humble and tasty food. The staff is really friendly and nice. All their dishes are very tasty and well made. A must try dishes are panner butter masala, chilli fried rice and open butter masala. Looking for a budget place around JP nagar, u should definitely try this one.
Good food and service. Less number of seats to sit and have food and those few seats are placed near the roof edge so in rainy season they are almost wet.
Ambiance is good. Clean and neat. Icing on the cake is that this hotel is exactly opposite to a beautiful park. I always order Open butter Masala dosa. It is made crispy, potato SabJi well cooked, loads of fresh coriander garnished and offcourse the best part is of loads of Butter. Happy eating.
Was planning to go here from a long time.. Finally made time to visit this place.. Located opposite the mini forest JP nagar was packed with people when I had been there. Found a way to place the order.. Seamless payment through Samsung pay and got the food relatively easily.
Items ordered:
Idli vada
Khara bath
Mangalore Buns
Coffee
The taste was really good and I'd love to frequent this place in the future.. The quantity of food served is decent and the prices are quite reasonable compared to many others in the vicinity.. There is ample parking space as well but not much seating and standing area as there will be crowd during lunch time.
A highly crowded place during peak times. Located near so many offices, it's a regular joint for most of the people. They serve awesome breakfast to lunch. Be prepared for the crowd. Service is very very prompt. Had Veg cheese sandwich and Roti Curry - they were good. Definitely will visit again and again as located near my workplace.
Delicious breakfast, you can't stop at just one item. Be it a rava idli, mangalore bun, chow chow bhaat or dosas. The filter coffee just makes your day. If you need a sumptuous meal with a view of mini forest, parkview is the place to be. Situated right next to MTR, this place is never eMpTy
Cleanliness, Price, Taste, service 5/5
Visited here multiple times after a long walk in the nearby parks in the weekends. Its a VFM breakfast joint near to MTR outlet JP nagar. Its a normal darshini type restaurant and do not expect perfect hygene environment everytime in the kitchen which is the only drawback I can recall. The breakfast is good.Good pulav, idly, dosa etc.,So a good rating.Honestly I prefer to go here compared to the high priced veg superstars nearby areas
My go-to place for paneer fried rice and Gobi Manchurian. The panner in the fried rice are big solid chunks, they don't do any compromise. Gobi though slightly on the oiler side of the word taste good nonetheless. A plate of guliappa is what can be considered as a starter. These guys are a crowd puller , hence be ready to wait eternity in order to get your order. The ice cream with cut fruits is good too, pocket friendly. A 4 .0 place in my books, I ducked .5 for the service, they are under manpowerwd. I recommend
This restaurant has been a saviour for us folks. My office is just about 10 buildings from ParkView.
They cater to both South Indian and North Indian delicacies. They also have chats and Juice.
Just around 5 tables to sit, ParkView is a decent place serving up some simple affordable food.
Idly sambar, Open masala dosa, veg makhanwala, butter kulchas and biryani are my favourites here.
Located right opposite to the mini forest and easily accesible to the companies around. Food here is amazing and quite affordable. Paneer hyderabadi is the best of the best we get here. 9 of 10 we order this dish with roti or naan. Masala dosa, Rava idly are other dishes good to try. Though it does not match to MTR (beside park view) it gives a tough competition incase of affordability and taste. Having coffee with the park view before in the evenings or when its raining is the best moment i can describe
Cheap and amazing taste.
Generally will be crowded and sits are conjusted..
You can stand and eat..
Paneer Hyderabadi is amazing...
Biryani is also very good...

We were 20 odd people staying at nearby hotel, the food there was bad so all of us walked to this adjoining food joint...Just made me think why don't we have such amazing food options in.whitefield
First of all service -excellent.,fast food literally ,u pay in advance take the chit give it to the counter ,u won't have to wait long
Taste and quality - at the speed of service and the price point they are offering ..Too good,
Price range - we were 20 people and total bill was less than 2000 and all of us were filled tells the story
It's just 5 minutes from my house and a regular joint when it comes to breakfast and other refreshments.
You will not be disappointed because they serve fresh food.
Morning and the evening buzz is amazing.
Coffee and the busy streets what else you want?
Cheers
This place serves amazing and spicy food. One can't looking at its ambience, it's like the normal hotels which is always crowded at any hour. We had ordered for roti some Subzi and a fried rice which was also really good. This place is very economical too.
A place where you can enjoy North Indian, South Indian and Chinese cuisines to your heart's content. The juice counter and also the chat counter is very good. They make gulliappas which taste really good. So all in all a must visit place.
Parkview!
The only place in the locality for the best well known cuisines I ever known. They have like South Indian, North Indian, Chinese and Continental.
The best ever Itried here is North Indian menu, where starting from curries to Rice variates, we get the best taste ever in the locality. They have renovated and gave a new infrastructure to the restaurant. With the self service and some seating system. Making new infrastructure, gave a very good result to the management. They give the best taste.
Ordered a big list - Idly vada, Tomato soup, Veg manchurian balls, Stuffed capsicum masala, breads like roti, kulcha and naan and ended up with onion and chili fried rice 🌶
Yet it was peak ending weekend, managed to get everything in time. everything was fresh and hot.
I do recommend this place.
One of the initial fav places for a coffee and a quick snack. Nice dosas and idlis, they serve buns too and are quite close to the original Mangalore ones. Right next to mini forest so cool ambience though the street has got quite crowded and busy now.
Park view is the cheap lunch and snack up option for all the busy goers on the mini forest road. Stand up meals which are okish and the bill will fit in everyone's pocket :)
I'll say much better than the nearby MTR. Better because the taste is not much different and pretty decent but the rates are really easy on pocket and go well with the pleasure they serve to the taste buds. Dahi Puri is really good.
Quality food, but very crowded,if u r kind of who does not like to fight for your food then I recommend you give this one a miss otherwise great value for money..
Typical fast food joint that you would find elsewhere. Well maintained place, good service, a bit pricey but quality of food is good. Would recommend the Mughlai Biryani.
This restaurant is located right opposite to Mini Forest around JP Nagar. They recently renovated the restaurant and its pretty much good than the previous one. They do not have a service hall. They have upto up 4 to 5 tables and chairs for the seating. I have been to this restaurant most of the times in the mornings or evenings. once i visited in the noon and the restaurant was so full because there are many corporate companies close by. So its a better option to visit in the morning or evening. Morning breakfast menu is nice, Tried idli vada, Masala dosa and kotte kadabu. Chinese is also nice.
It is a nice place to visit as u'll get to see some variety in food items. I ordered pav bhaji, veg noodles and manchurian and everything was good in taste. Its an open restraurant and the owner should look forward to improve the ambi or interior of the restaurant. I liked the place and m loking forward to visit again ☺
I have tried most of the dishes at park view , they have good variety of dishes be it north indian south indian or chaats , my favourite is there ghee dosa
This place is located right opposite to the luscious green park of mini forest. We have visited the place often, mostly in the evening for light snacks or dinner. I have tried many of the chat items here like Masala puri, Pani puri, Samosa masala and Papdi chat. They use chole here for masala instead of green peas as is the norm in South. Still, they maintain the same essence and it helps with all the chats to taste good. Not like it is excellent, but it feels good as it the sour-sweet-hot ratio is usually well balanced. Occasionally I have had soggy puris, but mostly it has been good. I have tried both Gobi and Veg Manchurian here which was quite some time back. Manchurian is one item that I have hardly liked anywhere in Bangalore and they put a decent dish across for the same. Good amount of onions, well fried and lot of coriander too.
For dinner, I have mostly tried Pulav, Jeers rice and Fried rice. Jeera rice is something like you can't make it taste bad unless you burn them off, so it holds the same standard here. I have Fried rice here and the veggies are chopped into small pieces and are cooked well. Though the taste isn't a problem with this course, I have often observed that rice is sometimes undercooked. We had Lassi and did not like it as it had an uneven mixture of sweet and curd ratio & also it looked like it wasn't mixed properly as a result of which we could see lighter portion floating on the top.
The pricing is pretty standard, same as other darshani's. Parking can be a problem sometimes as there is MTR also next to it. We use the place for a quick bite or so before we go shop in Bannerghatta road and it has often worked for us.
This is the favourite destination for people who come for a walk in mini forest. Good place for coffee and breakfast. North Indian food is also moderately priced and a good eat. Not too big but has a few tables along with self service counter.
i had almost eaten here once in day during my bangalore stay due to location of my office ... stuff is good , staff is really friendly & good. food qulaity is decent but could be improved in some areas .. after renovation the place is more lively now with lots of options in menu.. Only concern which i felt is prices are a little higher side as compared to other places in near vicinity.
As MTR was closed on Bangalore strike day was landed here which was just next one...
Surprisingly everything I ordered and saw around was just so good.... The open dosa and masala dosa I ordered was very tasty as well as nicely garnished one... I should surely visit it again ....
Ah! A nice small restaurant in JP nagar. Has a long list of breakfast items, everything tasty and worthy. The ghee rice here is the best item I had till date at this place, must had had n number of times. But the rush is here is too much during peak times, would not have enough place to stand at least which would be the only reason to back out.
So I happened to have lunch at this veg fast food hotel for 3 days in a row; while I was auditing a close by company and for auditors the lunch is usually on the client's.! Alright so that's too much of show-off ;)
Moving on to the point, I can't comment much on the ambience of the joint but I got to know that it's quite crowded during morning breakfast as well as during lunch time.! And given the location of the place and being thronged by plethora of companies, it's bound to receive such crowd.
catering to crowd on a day to day basis usually dilutes the consistency of the food.! But have to admit, we loved the food, the methi matar masala was lip smacking, to my surprise the kulchas were soft, daal tadka heavenly.!
Matar paneer and aloo paranthas were quite decent.
Negative marks for shahi biryani and chana masala- both were too damn oily and chana masala didn't taste good.!
Still it's a decent place to explore just for the taste of food if you are looking for some quick North Indian food in that area.!
And by quick yes I do mean they serve in jiffy.!! ;)

PARKVIEW is on my way to Office so decided to give it a try for Breakfast.
I was very impress with Variety of option you get apart from all regular options near to 9 AM .....and this time ... i decided to order tatte idli.. { This was new to me }.
The Idli was soft and with Sambhar...it was delicious..
Full Points for Prompt Service , clearness and Food.
This place is near work so been a bunch of times. Normally for breakfast or coffee and snacks. The place is clean and ambiance is sparse. Food quality is good, presentation is poor but value for money is high.
Nice place for Evening snacks. Loved paddu (Udupi guliyappa) and neer dosa here . Extremely crowded.Quality of food is good.
Best place for vegetarians.Roti curry,Kaaju masala,Mughulai Biriyani is worth tasting.Decent food,reasonable price :)
Your taste buds will be relieved once you'll have the food they offer, especially South Indian. The pricing fits your pocket and the quality of food is superb. Well maintained hygiene and the ambience is also worth noting. On the top of everything is their quick service.
Good quality food at cheap price ... be it south Indian or north Indian ... Best paneer butter Masala... Jeera rice ... and they also make it quick :-)
Great quality food at cheap price. It is my default option for snacks. Great Mangalore Buns, Gobi Manchurian, veg kadai, paddu etc. I have never had a bad experience here in my scores of visits.
Its quite good. Its cheap and tasty. A bit crowded during peak hours but overall it's nice! North Indian meals are good and milkshakes are also great. It's economical! Try to avoid it during lunch time as it is very much crowded!
Southern food quality is awesome. Price is also pocket friendly. But Northern type food is too spicy. An advantage is that It's open for a long time. So you can get breakfast, lunch and dinner here.
Being really close to office, more often than not this is the place where we get our food packed just in case we dont get our lunch. This place is extremely crowded at any given point of time due to the locality of it. Floating office crowd keeps this place buzzing with people.
Coming to the food, being pure vegetarian, this place is awesome for the variety and the taste that it offers. The dishes that primarily stand out are the mughlai biryani, onion chilly fried rice , shahi pulao and man the list keeps getting better!!! The roti curry offered is good but doubt if that is enough to fill a stomach with appetite. The indian breads are done neatly. Now coming to the gravies section, I recommend almost every dish available because they tingle your taste buds the way you want them to .
The main drawback of eating in this restaurant regularly is that your cholesterol levels might soar through the roof :P. The food, let it be any dish that you order, is made with more oil and less ingredients ;). So keep that in mind and order your food. Happy dining readers :).
One of the best restaurant have gone for.. Food taste is awesome..
Its been around for sometime now. Recently been renovated as well. Is self service. A few tables around and some for seating as well. You get south indian and north indian and I must admit both are quite good. Chats available, which are also pretty decent.
A small food joint in JP Nagar, this one is situated just opposite mini forest.
Food is good and they have decent number of options available. We had masala dosa and akki roti.
Limited seats available. Parking is available by the road side. Service is good.
Overall a nice place for a quick lunch. Nothing fancy about the place - a very basic place. Not expensive.
As per name, it is right infront of Mini Forest.
A very calming vibe. Minimal seats to sit but has standing table too.
Food is good here mostly crowded by nearby offices.
Must go for filter coffee.
In evening, can take kids to play in park and then have Mangalore buns and Filter kaapi.
Tried a few items at this place. Thatte Idli and plain dosa is good. Sambar of this place is definitely better than most places. Masala dosa was a disappointment when I ordered it. Almost no salt in the masala and pretty bland. Akki roti is average. Service is quick and good. Hygiene is good considering the crowd at this place.
Pure vegetarian restaurant. Udupi style authentic south Indian foods. Morning Breakfast is excellent especially Sambar Idly, Sambar Vada, Set dosa, Masala Dosa and Pulav. The taste of the food is simply awesome. It is always crowded in the morning. Well maintained and hygienic restaurant. One of my favourite restaurants for breakfast and dinner when in Bangalore.
📍It is located in JP Nagar, 2nd Phase, opp. Mini forest., Bangalore.
A wonderful dharshini style restaurant (quick service tiffins/meals). Great dosas and idly. Car parking is limited.
Wonderful taste no matter what you order. Quantity and quality are exceeding the expectations for that price range. Good ambience, great Place for friends to hangout but beware when the place is crowded and there will not be any surprises if the place is full. Better to go at night or evening coz you can enjoy the cool breeze and nice view of park which will justify the name of the restaurant.
Good food, fast service, clean place and value for money. The portion size is generous.
They have very limited seating, and lot of tables to stand and eat.
Wide variety of food.
It get pretty crowded during peak lunch hours as lot of offices are close by.
We have been a frequent diners here, as our office was close by.
Recommended to try north indian and south indian food.
Good thing first they have local desi variety foods like, gojjuavalakki, Kotte Kadubu, nutchina unde have beautiful authentic taste i give all 4 stars, meanwhile they small cleaning here and there (unfortunately maintaining cleanliness in hotel is herculean task) otherwise a quick stopover for breakfast, lunch dinner taste won't disappoint u
Traditional Karnataka dishes, gojju avalakki, goli bajji, mangaluru buns, masala dose were good. You get a good view of the park in front, this place would be a good option for evening break.
Food is delicious and available at a reasonable price. Seats are limited. Most people eat standing. Self Service. A bit crowded during the 01:30 - 02:30 pm on working days.
The restaurant is situated in a good place. It's in front of a small park.
Food:
Kadhai panner is tasty. The gravy was mouth watering perfectly blended with raw spices.
Naan/Tandoori: they make fresh naan. It's very tasty directly from Tandoor.
Seating: they have ample space as per the crowd.
One can stop by here if they missed food at MTR which is situated around 20 metres from this restaurant.
They also serve Chinese dishes along with shakes and other dishes.
In spite of not visiting the actual place, I had ordered food online.. all I can say is that the food was absolutely fantastic. I ordered akki rotti, rice bath, and tea.. akki rotti was by far the best with the achar and peanut chutney, rice bath was great.
In regards to the tea, it was really good and I really liked the tea, so overall I had a good experience with this hotel and would like to order more and visit again as soon as possible.
Wide range of vegetarian dishes available including some authentic ones of Karnataka like Neer Dose, Kadubu and Nuchinaunde.
Some starters and gravy are very tasty.
